Mike's Electrical Ltd

Mike's done a couple of jobs for me now. Turns up when he says he will and does a great job. Doesn't try and have you do things that aren't needed. Would recommend.

Excellent work, very efficient

Mike was extremely professional in completing the work he did in our house. He was transparent and friendly, and completed the work to a very high standard. Thank you. Joe (and Gemma)

Mike is amazing, quick acting, efficient, and professional he was called around midnight and was on sight within the hour to fix the issue and make the property safe would definitely and already have recommend to all thank you ☺️

Mike put in a new plug socket and relocated our CCTV. He was quick to respond and complete the work.

Mike promptly and efficiently sorted a problem with electrical oven supply. Thoroughly recommended

Mike was great. Came quickly to sort out a problem we had with ovens and lights. It wasn’t straightforward, but he carefully worked out what it was, fixed what he could and gave us advice on what to do about what wasn’t fixable. Very reasonable fee and left everything clean and tidy. I would definitely call him again and recommend to other people.

Mike has done some more work for me recently, outdoor light moved, spot lights in living room installed and whenever I need a electrician he is the first person I contact and has never let me down.

Mike came out to me first thing the next morning after I had an issue which left me without a bathroom light! He did a great job of fixing my issue in an old house with very old electrics!

Came quickly for a faulty kitchen socket, only charged his hourly call out charge, explained issue well, would use services again

Installed replacement cooker hood for us, thank you

We had a reoccurring problem in that the kitchen electric circuit sometimes would not work. A number of electricians had previously been out but failed to find the fault. Mike attended promptly, and worked through the circuit identifying and repairing the fault. Highly recommend. Thank you.

Great work by Mike's Electrical, prompt and efficient.

Mike has done several jobs for me over recent years, and I couldn't be more pleased with his work. Recently, he helped install new plug sockets and a light fitting for me and as always, everything was done perfectly. Mike is very friendly, professional, reliable, and helpful. I highly recommend his services!

Mike did a fantastic job - he took down two lights in the bedroom, making the old connections safe and fitted a large ceiling fan with a light. Mike gave us sound advice and guidance throughout and he left the place spotless. I can’t recommend Mike highly enough. He is highly skilled and knows his stuff! Will definitely use Mike again.

Mike has done various bits of work for me and has always done a good job. He is knowledgeable, polite and reliable.

Mike came out to do some electrical testing for us and quickly quoted us to correct a lot of unsafe things in our house. Did what he said he would do when he would do it. Couldn’t recommend enough and very reasonably priced. Would definitely use again if needed.

Never let’s you down, this guy.

Very good service 110%

Mike, sorted my plug socket out. It was only a small job, but he still made time to fit the job into his busy week.. Very clean and tidy, fair priced. I will definitely be using his services again. Thank you

Mike came quickly, did a thorough job, identified the problems, made everything safe, and outlined all the options. Recommend

Brilliant service. Mike has been great sorting out electrical work in my daugthers property. Always gets back and responds to messages. Very clean and tidy work. Fair pricing

Answered the phone, which is always a bonus! Agreed to come to the property at 9am the next day, which he did. Completed the job in a neat, professional and timely manner. Price of the work very reasonable. Would not hesitate to use again and to recommend.

Very professional and friendly service

Mike installed a new consumer unit, re wired the electrics in the garage and installed a fan in the bathroom. Work was carried out to a very high standard. Would highly recommend him.

Mike is a very dedicated professional and definitely among the best in his trade. He always shows up on or before time and goes right to work. He works very diligently and quickly. He answers all of the questions. Mike came in to upgrade the main electric board at our place and immediately realised that the task in hand is complicated. But Mike was completely unfazed and using all his experience completely upgraded our board and it is a very neat piece of work as well. He also made some other important electrical upgrades in the house. We would very highly recommend Mike and will definitely get in touch with him for future electricals related work.

Installed my oven, cooker and chimney. Great service!

Excellent service. Really reliable. Explained all the issues we had and sorted them out. Would highly recommend.

Mike did a great job replacing the fuse box and installing two sets of bathroom lights and the new wiring which goes with them. 5 stars!

Fab service

Mike is brilliant and is always our go-to for anything ‘electrical’. He’s incredibly likeable, honest and seriously hard working. We’ve always received good advice from him and the quality of what he delivers is outstanding. He doesn’t change parts if they don’t need changing and frankly we trust him implicitly and would just not go to anyone else. We moved up to Leeds from London in 2021 and didn’t know anyone, least of all reliable trades people that we could trust. We relied purely on recommendations, for everything . We were recommended to Mike which has turned out to be a fabulous recommendation. We have used Mike for various things from wiring our kitchen spotlights, putting up our home security cameras and even got him to do our TV wall mounting. Whether you need a plumber, an electrician, a plasterer, a builder, it can often be a minefield, full of cowboys and rogue traders and the task of finding the right, trustworthy and skilled tradesmen can be tricky. Hopefully this recommendation can offer the comfort, assurance and peace of mind that for anything electrical, Mike is your man! He is that skilled, trustworthy guy you should have no hesitation in calling.

Mike is a legend - True Story!! He has helped me with 2 complicated jobs in a difficult old house…… He is a top bloke, technically really good (he spent hours of his own time thinking about the solution), super conscientious, turns up on time, has just the right amount of OCD to get a perfect result! I almost didn’t write a review as I don’t want him to be fully booked when I need him!!!! Seriously you won’t find better than Mike

Very professional and friendly service. Mike always does a great job. Highly recommended.

Couldn't be happier with Mike. Managed to troubleshoot and find the cause of why we kept losing power to part of our home and rectify poor work from a previous electrician. Couldn't recommend more!

Really great and professional - and well priced too. Goes above and beyond to get the job just right! I can highly recommend

Fantastic service. Can’t recommend highly enough.

Quick response and quote. Excellent price and service and able to politely make last minute changes.

I 100% recommend Mike. Very friendly and easy to deal with. Good quality work also :)

Always a good job with Mike. Just completed garage lighting but done lots of other work all to a high standard

Mike changed some lighting in our kitchen and a plug socket in the bedroom. He was quick to respond to the request and was friendly and professional whilst working. Would highly recommend and will definitely use for future requirements

Mike completed a substantial re-wiring of our property to a professional high standard from start to finish. He walked around the property to understand our needs and make his recommendations to provide a detailed, reasonably priced quotation. We left Mike our keys during the works and he was trustworthy and reliable - and he stayed in regular contact to review decisions together during his time on site. The works started and finished on time…and he left the site clean and tidy. I highly recommend Mike and will call on him for any electrical jobs in future.

Good value for money and a friendly trustworthy approach. I appreciate Mike's honesty in discussing options. Would definitely recommend

He came very promptly and did an excellent job. I now feel much safer when going down the steep and narrow stairs into the cellar.

Very reliable and excellent quality of work.really knows his stuff.

Top quality service. After accidentally severing a wire whilst undertaking some DIY Mike came out promptly to assist despite his busy calendar. Professional, friendly and reliable guy. I'll be sure to go back to him for anything electrical going forward.

A stand up guy helped solve our problem and was able to fix on the same day

Good service at a fair price. Recommend Used Mike's services again to fit an EV charger for us. Good work again. Nice bloke, very helpful :-)

We moved into a house without a cooker (!) and in need of some electrical upgrades fast. Mike took the time to consult with us & explain things in layman’s terms (as much as we could understand anyway!) He’s very professional, hard working & most importantly, does things properly from start to finish. Oh and he’s a thoroughly nice bloke too (very sweet to our dog, which in my book, says a lot about character). We’ll definitely be using him for lots of work in the new house and highly recommend him. Thanks again Mike!

Friendly professional service, very knowledgeable and competitive. Will use again.

Thanks to Mike for his work on several jobs at our house recently. Excellent communications, tidy, professional work, and a good guy too.

Very pleased and impressed with the work. Mike spent 3 days changing the many halogen lights to LED, external lights and a new consumer unit. He's a relaxed and professional worker, who kept us informed throughout. Highly recommended.

Quality job for reasonable price. Grateful for getting the sauna heater safely installed. Will use their service again.

Impressively hard working and a bit of a perfectionist (in a very good way!) Mike came up against our insanely thick and strong walls when installing some new sockets for us, but stayed much later than I'm sure he planned (on a Friday too!) to finish the job to his precise standards. He even fixed a pre-existing socket for us so that it was flush to the wall and safely wired, just like the lovely new ones he had installed :)

Professional and friendly, he got the job done quickly and for a great price - would definitely recommend.

Have used Mike's services twice now - excellent work both times despite being awkward jobs/unexpected issues. I like the fact that he doesn't keep you in the dark when he is working - he explains in layman's terms what the issue is & what he is doing about it - very rare quality for a tradesperson in my experience! He also cleans up after himself which is a massive bonus!!!

Excellent service and professional work. All work completed to a high standard and will recommend highly without hesitation. Thanks Mike

Our fuse kept tripping, Mike attended promptly, he is very professional and polite with a great work ethic. Can not thank him enough for sorting our problem out. Mike came out within the hour and sorted out the problem with our downstairs sockets very quickly and for a very fair price, fully recommended!

Mike was just superb! I can see why he has a 5 star rating! He literally came the same day as I messaged and completed the job so professionally. Everything is working and looks fabulous. The price was so good too! For any other jobs I need in future I will be messaging Mike. Explained things to me too along the way and is very personable. Thank you!

Mike and his colleague did a great job replacing lights in 2 of our rooms. Very happy with the quality of the work and the price. I would highly recommend his services!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! After reading great reviews in Facebook I called Mike to restore electric to my garage, and I was so happy that I did. He can the next day, and checked it all out, turned it on using a switch I hadn’t noticed, and even though he was here for 15 mins he didn’t charge me a penny. He is very friendly and professional, and I will definitely be using him for any further electrical work 😀

Very good experience: lighting problems were fixed fully and quickly, and a repeat visit (after I had bought a replacement part) arranged for the same day! Thank you very much, certainly would be in touch again if any further electrical work is needed. Good experience again with a shower review and replacement. Clear communication and everything sorted out just fine. Thank you again.

Professional, courteous, informative and friendly guy. Won’t mess you about, turns up on time, says exactly what he thinks your best options are and discusses everything in full with you. Used twice now, for home and business, and can’t recommend enough.

Mike, helped me when my landlord failed to fix my cooker wires and I'm pretty sure he saved my life. Thank u so much!

Needed a job doing where I work, got 3 quotes but Mike was the most down to earth so I chose him, best thing I did , a really professional job at both work and my home couldn’t recommend him highly enough, will continue to use him and Will keep recommending him to anyone who needs and electrician for private or commercial jobs, really really pleased with my lights, if you need anything doing try him first you won’t regret it

We contacted Mike after getting the keys to our first house. Mike discussed our options with us, and gave his opinion on each. We eventually opted for a full rewire, which was started the next week, with clear communication throughout. We are very pleased with the work that has been done, and would definitely recommend Mike to others.

We had an electrical emergency and Mike came straight away and sorted it. He also put up two new lights. Mike was friendly and professional at all times. His work was of excellent quality and he was very tidy and respectful to our home. We would definitely recommend Mike. He’s one of the best and nicest trades people we’ve ever had round.

Mike came out to help us when we had a power emergency. We were so pleased with his customer service and quality of work that we hired him to fully re-wire our house. Excellent workmanship, minimum of damage to our flooring and decor, and a thoroughly professional attitude to the job. Highly recommended.

Could not have asked for better service only a small job, no call out charge I would no problem recommending Mike's Electrical.

It is difficult to find good, honest and reliable tradespersons and I don't often leave reviews but Mike's work and approach was exceptional, top class and well worth a 5 out of 5 review. He also offered some really useful advice on other projects I had planned. I would use again and recommend without hesitation.

Just fab - very happy with everything.
