When they didn't show up for the initial job they tried blaming me until I proved them wrong. The condition report they eventually priduced strongly "recommended" a full re-wire whilst in reality a new consumer unit was all that was necessary to bring the property up to satisfactory. When I asked for a quote for them to do that I was flatly ignored.
Ben replaced a faulty double socket inside and found the problem with our shed light and fixed that too. Simple jobs but often difficult to get people out for small stuff. Fair price and Ben is a really nice bloke. Wouldn't hesitate to use him again.
I needed an electrical certificate/test doing at short notice, Ben’s details were passed onto me by another contractor. He called on the way back from another job without hesitation. He came, he did, he left 👊not all heroes wear capes 😁

I would highly recommend Lucid Electrical, they came out a number of times to my project to complete the work which was needed in stages. They totally worked around us and our timings and even worked a weekend. Never had to chase for a date or paperwork and everything was installed to spec. I have them booked in for another project and look forward to working with them on more to come.

Lucid electrical services didn’t come out and physically attend my property but I was in need of speaking to an electrician about an issue we had. They messaged me straight back, bearing in mind it was 10pm in the evening and told me what the issue was and directed me to reach out to northern power (as was a serious fault). Really appreciate the help and I will definitely go back in the future and recommend.
Ben came at short notice to complete an EICR for us. He was really responsive throughout, pleasant, thorough and explained what needed to be done and why. When he identified a few repairs he ordered the parts immediately and returned the next day to finish off. Very happy overall and would definitely use again.

Highly recommend using Lucid ES. Our circuit board went down the day before my sons birthday party with no light or power and a fridge and freezer full of party food... We could not get any electrician from near or far to attend. Despite being fully booked Lucid took the time to handle my enquiry from their online enquiry service and even took the time to call me and go through some safe troubleshooting steps to see if i could rectify the issue myself. Unfortunatley the RCD needed replacing, they sourced the parts straight away and came out of hours to make sure we were back up and running. Would also say at a very reasonable fee. Will definately be using them again in the future!
We consulted Ben for a second opinion after being told our fusebox was very old and could blow up at any time from another electrician. Ben came several hours later the same day, he arrived promptly when he said he would. He reassured us regarding the fusebox not being a safety problem and if we do want to upgrade at some point the quote was half of what the original electrician had quoted. He did this all free of charge. It can be very difficult to find a reliable and trustworthy trades person but Ben was a breath of fresh air. I have saved his number for any future problems and wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable electrician with integrity.
Excellent service, great value for money and top bloke. Came out quickly to solve an issue with power to my garage, which I was greatful for as I would have lost food stock . He even gave me a bit of business advice whilst fixing the issue. I definitely recommend.

Very professional company. Helped me out yesterday when I had a power cut to my property. He advised over the phone what I needed to do rather than coming out. He assessed by me sending pictures to him and telling me to check on the meter etc I would recommend this company and should I need the service I will use again. Had an urgent electrical issue with our cooker and looking for a local engineer, found Ben. Arrived swiftly, on time and found the 'not so straight forward' problem quickly and fixed it there and then! Due to the issue he could have told us it was anything, even that we needed a new cooker but being a good honest tradesman, found it was a simple issue not associated with the actual problem but causing it anyhow! Thanks Ben, honesty and integrity....not easy to find these days!

Needed an electrician for a small number of jobs around the house including some additional sockets, kitchen pendant lights and installation of a ring doorbell. Lucid came round on time as previously agreed and completed the jobs too high standard. Work was neat and tidy and Ben was a friendly electrician explaining what he was doing as he went. I needed an electrician at a short notice after having my ceiling ruined by a cowboy. Lucid fixed the ceiling and managed to fit 20 lights in a very short time frame. Very responsive and cares about doing a good job.

Having had a few quotes from local electricians, we selected Lucid Electrical Services as they are a local company to us.
