Exceptional service provided by father & son duo carrying out repairs over the weekend. Thorough EICR was carried out and report promptly delivered to managing agents. Highly Recommended for landlords work and domestic installations. Thanks

Excellent service! The electrician was polite, on time, and very experienced. He explained the problem in simple words and fixed it the same day. Great experience overall.

sadly a very disappointing service. Booked to install a new light fitting. Two cancellations then, after installation, most circuits in the house tripped out repeatedly. He did come back the following day and attempt to fix the problem, but with limited success. He suggested further testing of the system and asked that we make sure access to all sockets was available. This was done, taking several hours of moving furniture. He returned, but only stayed a short while. Has not come back and attempts to arrange another appointment have come to nothing. A second electrical opinion has revealed there may be a fault in one circuit. However, this is very poor service from Flora, quitting a job with no explanation, after £600 had been paid (probably an error on our part!), leaving us worse off than before work was started.

Terrible experience. I booked this father and son team to do some rewiring mainly because I felt sorry for them as they didn't seem to have any work. Now I realise why they don't have any work. They originally told me it was one day’s work. On the first day, they turned up at 9.20 and went shopping for parts. The son started work at 11.30 and left at 15.30, telling me he needed a further half day the next day. I would have been fine with this, but it was obvious to me, from the slow progress on day one, he was not going to finish in half a day. (A full day's work in most people's world is 7.5 hours). On day two, he arrived at 9.45, stood in the hallway drinking 2 large coffees for an hour, and started work at around 10.45. At 12.00 he came down and said he would need the whole day. No surprise to me, given that he was working at a snail’s pace and drinking coffee for an hour. The quality of work was poor. They cut into skirting, which I have now been told by a professional electrician, that they should not have done. Four of the sockets have not been fitted flush to the ceiling. The two light fittings are also not flush to the ceiling. They charged me extra to install fuse switches which were not explained. I'm now having to pay a second electrician to fix the mess - all after my painting and decorating has taken place, so this is costing me a huge amount of extra money. Towards the end, the father appeared to do what he said was plastering. As someone claiming 30 years’ experience of plastering, he didn't know the difference between filler and plaster and did a very bad job. The two of them were rushing around at 4pm on a Friday. When they left at 17.30, they had made no attempt to clear anything up. They also caused damage to my property. My home was left like a demolition site. (The son even said his job was to demolish and his father's job was to clear up - he didn't). No tests were done on the work, so I have no idea if the work is up to standard or even safe. When I attempted to feedback to them and ask questions, instead of listening, both got defensive and aggressive. The father's final words on leaving were not to check if I was happy but he said - can you pay NOW. He then sent me a text saying can you pay NOW. And finally called me to request payment - all within the space of 10 minutes. As an honest person, I had no intention of ever not paying them and paid them within half an hour for two days work, even though he only did 1.5 days and bad filling at an extra cost of £50. They left the job unfinished and told me they would be back to finish as a 'part was missing'. It turns out they lost the screws for a socket that I had paid for, and that was all they needed, but again the father seemed to be telling lies. He also said he was rushing off to celebrate Diwali - which I'm 99% sure was not true. I strongly suspect some reviews here are not real; the first one, for example, is the father giving himself a 5 star review. Two weeks later - they haven't reappeared and have ignored my email feedback and text messages to resolve the outstanding issues. The son is not only rude to customers but also to his own father and the father has no control over his son. The son spent time distracting me from my work and telling me horror stories about burglaries and vandalism in the local area in a feeble attempt to sell me security products. Truly shocked and saddened that people like this exist. They seemed to think as a woman, I was somehow stupid. Please be aware – this is not a professional company. They don't have NICEIC accreditation. The father has a full time job at Yorkshire Water. I will be reporting them to trading standards and I’m sure Yorkshire Water will also be interested in hearing about the conduct of their staff when I contact them.
