Matt has done two jobs for me recently. The first was replacing the consumer unit and bringing everything up to current standards, something that was complicated by the unexpected discovery of some vulcanised rubber cabling that needed replacement which he was able to do without any disruption. The second was fitting some new sockets in the hall. Both jobs were done to a high standard using good quality components, plus Matt is a genuinely nice guy and very helpful and knowledgeable. I’d highly recommend him and will definitely be asking him to do any future home electrical work.

I was recommended Matt by a friend and he has now done a couple of jobs for me. His work has been excellent and we trust what he has done. He supplied better products than those we had in place and was very tidy and conscientious when fitting them. I would totally recommend him, as he is reliable, fairly priced and is very easy to get along with and have working in your home. There is only one problem and that is that he is hard to get booked in, as he is so busy! But if he says he will do the work, he does, which is quite unusual these days!

Matt from Fletcher Electric provided a high quality installation of multiple electrical sockets in the floors, walls and ceilings of our entertainment venue. The structure of the unit is quite challenging, being underneath a railway arch, but Matt did a great job of overcoming any obstacles. I could not recommend Fletcher Electric enough! Matt saved the day when our previous electrician dropped out half way through our kitchen renovation. He quickly got to grips with the wiring that had been installed by the previous electrician and clearly explained to us what work was outstanding. Matt and his co-worker Andy did a full re-wire on our house, which is a 1930's semi-detahced in Moortown. We are very pleased with the work, quality is excellent and you can tell there was a real attention to detail. We were slightly concerned about how invasive the work could be, but Matt and Andy took great care to only channel into plaster where necessary and plastered up neatly as they went. Matt was great with updates throughout the job and was always available to speak to. We had a number of electricians round to quote for the work, and we found Matt to be the most thorough and detailed in terms of his quote. Would recommend Fletcher Electric to all.

Matt is such a lovely electrician who did a wonderful job at fixing a fault in the electrics in my house. He was the 5th and only electrician that fixed the problem. Initially, the first electrician came and couldn't figure the root cause of the problem. The second electrician came and claimed the whole house needed rewiring which meant an upheaval of the house was required and could potentially cost us upto £4k to fix. The third electrician came and had a look and said he would get back to us, but we never heard anything from him. The same happened with the 4th set of electricians, a father and son duo that took over an hour to look for the fault but again didn't get back to us. When Matt came, it took him only half an hour to find the fault and fix it and he charged us £75 as opposed to the £4k quote the previous electrician had given. Matt was so lovely and proffessional and I would highly recommend such brilliant electrician to anyone who thinks a particular fault is impossible to fix.

Fletcher Electric undertook an Electrical Installation Report for me. They provided a costed quote by e-mail which I could accept by a link. They were running a little late on the day of the work but rang me to let me know. Matt and Andrew worked well on testing the electrics and e-mailed me the completed report. Despite my Village Store & Post Office undergoing a full refurbishment only five years ago, I was concerned that the lighting that I had installed was drab and not particularly energy efficient. I asked Matt to come and have a look at my premises to discuss alternative options for improving the lighting, while at the same time reducing my overheads. After discussing my requirements, Matt came back to me with several options for LED lighting and was able to provide me with the advice I needed to make the right decision. Once the decision had been made, Matt was able to schedule a time and date that was going to cause the least disruption to my business. On the day of installation, Matt and his assistant arrived promptly and immediately set to work on the job. They worked efficiently and were respectful of the need to cause minimum disruption to my staff and customers. Now that the job is done, my premises have been completely transformed, with the added bonus that I will be making savings on my future electricity bills. Myself and my husband have been extremely happy with the work carried by Mr Fletcher.We are new to Leeds and I admit that we initially struggled to get any of our neighbours who had hired electricians to recommend them to us. I have no such reservations about Fletcher Electric. From the outset he made sure that we were all clear on exactly what work was to be carried out, thus there were no hidden costs. His work is to a very high standard and at each stage he made sure that we were happy with our decisions (every single socket outlet has been put where we asked for it, not just what would have made his life easier!!!!). The costs of the work carried out was comparable to other quotes we had obtained, but, it was his approach to it that gave us confidence ( clearly now, not misplaced). Despite our house being a complete bomb site, he was considerate of all aspects of it, thus saving many of its original features. Fletcher electric was recommended to me by a friend who had previously had her house rewired by matt. He did a fantastic job at my house, completing the electrics in my kitchen and various other jobs to a really good standard. Everything looks really neat and tidy, all the sockets and switches are level unlike my old kitchen! A few extra things were required to be done so that electric safety regulations could be met, however I felt all of this was explained really well. I needed an electrician for a very small job that I'd attempted myself, and found Matt in North Leeds Life, turned out he lived a few doors away, he rang me back straight away, and called in on his way home, sorted my problem out for a very reasonable price.
