Fletcher Electric Ltd

Excellent job. Matt responded quickly and communication throughout was first class. I will continue to use Fletcher Electric. Highly recommended.

Matt was punctual and explained the work needed thoroughly. He was communicative and left the house tidy. I would recommend Fletcher Electric.

Matt is great. Always positive, thorough and fair-priced. Have used him for years and will continue to do so.

Matt was professional, punctual and very competively priced. Would definitely use again and recommend to others .

Matt has done two jobs for me recently. The first was replacing the consumer unit and bringing everything up to current standards, something that was complicated by the unexpected discovery of some vulcanised rubber cabling that needed replacement which he was able to do without any disruption. The second was fitting some new sockets in the hall. Both jobs were done to a high standard using good quality components, plus Matt is a genuinely nice guy and very helpful and knowledgeable. I’d highly recommend him and will definitely be asking him to do any future home electrical work.

I was recommended Matt by a friend and he has now done a couple of jobs for me. His work has been excellent and we trust what he has done. He supplied better products than those we had in place and was very tidy and conscientious when fitting them. I would totally recommend him, as he is reliable, fairly priced and is very easy to get along with and have working in your home. There is only one problem and that is that he is hard to get booked in, as he is so busy! But if he says he will do the work, he does, which is quite unusual these days!

Matt was recommended to us by our neighbour. He has been punctual and polite. The work he has undertaken has been carried out with minimal disruption and finished neatly with good quality products. All required certification has been provided promptly and submitted to the relevant bodies on our behalf. He’s a pleasant chap and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him myself or to call on him again should the need arise.

Matt replaced our consumer unit in December and completed a full electrical safety certificate on the property. This identified a number of issues with a recent kitchen installation which he managed to resolve despite a busy schedule. Matt was also excellent at providing all the information we needed as evidence for the kitchen fitter and really went above and beyond. Highly recommended! Tom and Beth

Really professional, and everything was completed perfectly. Would absolutely recommend and use again. Thank you!

Fletcher Electric recently installed a bunch of new sockets at our multi use community space. They were fast, responsive, efficient, friendly and competitively priced. On top of that they did a cracking job with the install, exactly what we needed and more. Would strongly recommend if you're looking for an honest, trustworthy and reliable electrician. Thumbs up

Matt from Fletcher Electric provided a high quality installation of multiple electrical sockets in the floors, walls and ceilings of our entertainment venue. The structure of the unit is quite challenging, being underneath a railway arch, but Matt did a great job of overcoming any obstacles. All very neat and tidy and installed to the highest standards alongside an inspection of our safety lighting. Recommended :)

I could not recommend Fletcher Electric enough! Matt saved the day when our previous electrician dropped out half way through our kitchen renovation. He quickly got to grips with the wiring that had been installed by the previous electrician and clearly explained to us what work was outstanding. No question was too big or small for Matt and he spent a long time answering our queries. Matt was reliable, skilled, fairly priced and friendly. He even suggested ways to optimise lighting in our kitchen - which looks fab! Go with Matt, you won’t be disappointed.

Matt wired up a new outbuilding and put up some lights/security cameras for me. He’s efficient, professional, very pleasant to deal with and left everything very tidy. Highly recommended.

Many thanks for sorting out the electrics at Woodland View. We were delighted with your workmanship, your manner, and your tidiness! So you got a 10 out of 10, thank you!

Matt and team replaced three smoke alarms and replaced our bathroom fan. Good value, really nice guys, professional and did a fab job. As well as giving us some good advice / options.

Excellent. It is nice to come across a contractor who provides accurate timescales and keeps to them. Matt and his team were on time and carried out all of the work that was quoted for to a high standard. The whole process of being quoted, the work completed and invoice provided is nice and straightforward. I will definitely recommend.

Matt and his co-worker Andy did a full re-wire on our house, which is a 1930's semi-detahced in Moortown. We are very pleased with the work, quality is excellent and you can tell there was a real attention to detail. We were slightly concerned about how invasive the work could be, but Matt and Andy took great care to only channel into plaster where necessary and plastered up neatly as they went. Matt was great with updates throughout the job and was always available to speak to. We had a number of electricians round to quote for the work, and we found Matt to be the most thorough and detailed in terms of his quote. Would recommend Fletcher Electric to all.

Matt recently completed a couple of small jobs at short notice at my property and was able to squeeze me in despite his heavy schedule. He and the fletcher electrical team went out the way to accommodate my requests and completed the work to a high standard, much the same as on his last visit to complete some work required. Lovely guys. We Highly recommend.

What a great experience. An oasis of great service, quality work and helpful advice. Matt should be cloned and used as the standard for all tradesmen. I wouldn’t go anywhere else for electrical work. I often wish he did plumbing, roofing and landscaping as well. But he doesn’t ( unless he’s keeping it quiet). He just does electrical work brilliantly.

Matt and his colleague came and did a safety report and some other bits of work in our houese including fitting a new consumer unit. They were extremely professional, on time and did an excellent job all round. Will definitely recommend to my friends and family :)

Matt has been looking after our Sports and Social Club for some time now. His work is always of a high standard at a reasonable price. He responds quickly and reliably in an emergency and I have no hesitation in recommending his company.

Always happy with the quality of the work. Always done to a high standard. Have always used Matt and Andy when we need electrical work doing and ha e never had a problem.

Matt recently installed some new spot lights in the kitchen, and fixed various electrical issues around the house. All done in one day to a good standard and Matt consulted throughout to ensure I was happy with the work/knew what was being done. Very happy with the results and will be using Matt again for any work needed. Can happily recommend Fletcher Electric to anyone looking for a trusted tradesman to use

We recently bought a house which needed extensive renovation. Matt and his team rewired the whole house, entirely replacing an outdated and unsafe setup. The work was done promptly, communication was clear and helpful over phone, text and email. I would recommend Fletcher with no hesitations at all and the company will be our first port of call for any electrical work in the future. Many thanks

OUTSTANDING WORK ! Had to wait a while as Matt is a very busy chap. My patience paid off and now I’m pleased as punch. Replaced 80’s style spots in 3 rooms for me and now I can see when it gets dark! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED - good price too :) Nu.

We have been fixing up our first home. We used Fletcher Electric for a wide range of jobs we needed doing, they came out priced up the job and gave me a itemised costing of the work. They arrived bang on time, fixed everything, they were friendly, polite and professional. I will be using them again and I recommend you do too.

Excellent job A new outside light fitted, a reasonable price, excellent work

Prompt, reliable, friendly, efficient and a reasonable price - would definitely recommend

Matt is such a lovely electrician who did a wonderful job at fixing a fault in the electrics in my house. He was the 5th and only electrician that fixed the problem. Initially, the first electrician came and couldn't figure the root cause of the problem. The second electrician came and claimed the whole house needed rewiring which meant an upheaval of the house was required and could potentially cost us upto £4k to fix. The third electrician came and had a look and said he would get back to us, but we never heard anything from him. The same happened with the 4th set of electricians, a father and son duo that took over an hour to look for the fault but again didn't get back to us. When Matt came, it took him only half an hour to find the fault and fix it and he charged us £75 as opposed to the £4k quote the previous electrician had given. Matt was so lovely and proffessional and I would highly recommend such brilliant electrician to anyone who thinks a particular fault is impossible to fix.

Great work replacing the light fittings around my house, really friendly and good communication - highly recommend.

Friendly bunch of capable professionals at a reasonable price!

Matt was fantastic, did a really professional job at a good price, and gave good advice also

They did a great job - very friendly and helpful, and explained what needed doing and why. Would definitely recommend.

Matt and his colleague did an electrical safety review and certification for me. They did a really thorough job and were friendly and helpful throughout. Would happily recommend them

Great job thanks

Matt did an excellent job in restoring and certifying a consumer unit and its circuits after it had been wired illegally. Two earlier jobs in our previous flat had also worked out well so we had no hesitation in returning to Fletcher Electric on this occasion.

The service provided by Fletcher Electric was fantastic. The team arrived bang on time, worked very hard and I couldn't be happier with the end result. I would have no hesitation in recommending Fletcher Electric.

My old council house was in need of an electrical kick up the pants. Matt and Andy have done a good job. They are obliging and creative, but most of all reliable. Andy prefers tea (no sugar) and Matt coffee (also no sugar). It is worth listening to them natter away to each other - I THINK they like each other! Thanks, Chaps!

Good work installing new electric hob. Tidy, friendly and efficient. Recommended.

Fletcher Electric undertook an Electrical Installation Report for me. They provided a costed quote by e-mail which I could accept by a link. They were running a little late on the day of the work but rang me to let me know. Matt and Andrew worked well on testing the electrics and e-mailed me the completed report. Good customer service, good work at a competitive cost. I would use them again without any doubt.

Promptly responded to emails and did his best to work round when I was available for an appointment. He was friendly & professional at all times. Once he was here, I liked how he explained what he was doing & didn't mind answering my questions about the process. He checked a buzzing light for me, checked the safety of some plug sockets and installed a new light fitting in my basement kitchen. Would definitely use again & highly recommend!

Matt installed a new consumer board, rewired half the house, installed several new sockets and did a safety test for us. We're really happy with all the work he's done so far, and we'll use him again when we get the rest of the rewiring work done. He takes a really practical approach, communicates well, and did a good job of cleaning up. Thank you!!!

Matt and team did a very professional job for us on our farm, highly recommended.

Honest and trustworthy. Gave a full detailed quote and I really appreciated the advice. Hard working, efficient and cleaned up at the end of the day. Would highly recommend and will be my go to electrician.

Matt arrived exactly when promised firstly to give us a written quote and then to carry out the work on faulty wiring and supply and install a new light fitting which was done efficiently and professionally. We would highly recommend Matt and will certainly use him again. Great service.

Very pleased with the work that Matt and Andy have done for us over the last couple of months. Great quality work and very reasonable prices. Nice guys to deal with too. Highly recommended.

Fletcher Electric carried out an electrical inspection at our house. Matt and his colleague were really professional and left the house clean and tidy. We received the certificate the following day. I was very impressed with the service from booking in to receiving the invoice and certificate. Would definitely recommend.

Outstanding Electrician! Matt is a very competent electrician. His work is neat and he carefully cleaned the area in which he had been working. He is also responsive in replying to emails. I will definitely use again. Highly Recommended. Rupesh Patre

Having fully renovated a house with a new bathroom fitted, I wanted an extractor fan wired in, something I thought couldn't be done without damage. Matt wired in a new fan with zero damage to any walls and no tiles being taken off. Would definitely recommend.

If you are in Headingley or Meanwood in Leeds I would highly recommend Matt Fletcher and Fletcher Electric. Very knowledgeable, reliable, honest and very quick to answer my query and come round to look at my problem and give a quote.

We moved into a new house and needed various items of electrical work to be carried out. What a find Matt was! Him and his assistant carried out all the work needed to a very high standard, he could not have been more helpful and the price was very competitive. I will definitely be using Fletcher Electric again.

Sent an enquiry through website but heard nothing further. Left it a few days & rang the office, only to be told by a very snotty lady that Matt would get back to me when he had chance. That was over two weeks ago & still heard nothing. Would have appreciated a reply, even just to say they were too busy. Why bother with an online enquiry form if you're not going to respond to enquiries??

I've used Fletcher Electric a couple of times and they have been excellent - very clear on pricing the job beforehand, all work completed to a great standard. Highly recommended.

Matt fitted an extractor fan for me and did a superb job. He was very knowledgeable about where and how to fit and did it very quickly for a reasonable price. Would highly recommend!

Really chuffed I found Matt as usually a nightmare getting any work done! He did a great job, fairly priced and professional. Explained everything well and instantly trustworthy. Would highly recommend.

Despite my Village Store & Post Office undergoing a full refurbishment only five years ago, I was concerned that the lighting that I had installed was drab and not particularly energy efficient. I asked Matt to come and have a look at my premises to discuss alternative options for improving the lighting, while at the same time reducing my overheads. After discussing my requirements, Matt came back to me with several options for LED lighting and was able to provide me with the advice I needed to make the right decision. Once the decision had been made, Matt was able to schedule a time and date that was going to cause the least disruption to my business. On the day of installation, Matt and his assistant arrived promptly and immediately set to work on the job. They worked efficiently and were respectful of the need to cause minimum disruption to my staff and customers. Now that the job is done, my premises have been completely transformed, with the added bonus that I will be making savings on my future electricity bills. The whole shop floor has a much brighter feel and has attracted many positive comments from my staff and customers. I will definitely use Matt again for all of my electrical requirements and would highly recommend him as a very reliable and proficient tradesman. John Sheret Postmaster Shadwell Village Store & Post Office

I am a Director of a small block of flats. Matt is our number one choice for our electrical work. He is skilled, thorough and reliable, is also very pleasant to deal with and runs an impressively professional business. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending him.

A professional and reliable service as always. Thank you

Great work. Fast and reliable. Competitive prices very friendly.

This is the first time we have used this company and we were very impressed with the professional way business was conducted. The work was completed to a high standard and I would have no hesitation in using Fletcher Electric again and recommending them to others.

Friendly, professional and reliable. Excellent work. Very happy and would definitely recommend.

Really pleased with the work Matt did on our house, which involved rewiring lighting circuits and fitting out a new kitchen with sockets/oven/fan (along with several new sockets and lights). He provided a detailed quote at a reasonable price, always reliable, and work has been done to a very good standard. Overall, a genuinely nice guy to deal with. Would happily recommend

Great job from Matt. Sorted out my ageing lighting fittings. Professional, reliable and tidy. good communicator. Definitely recommend using him.

Matt came in and did a good job at a reasonable price when we needed two lights re-wiring, I would definitely recommend him.

Excellent speedy service. Efficient and friendly, and competitively priced. Would recommend without reservation.

Did great work quickly at a good price, would recommend

Required a kitchen cooker rewire - of the tradesmen who we contacted Matt was the only one who gave a clearly explained written quotation. Carried out the work to a high standard to the agreed quote, nice & tidy when finished.Great communication. Well recommended, thanks

Fantastic service at a very reasonable price.

Matt Fletcher is an excellent electrician who is always willing to adapt and help as plans change. Originally Matt was only going to fit an RCD board, but ended up wiring the kitchen with spot lights and fixing issues across the flat.

Matt and his colleague have recently carried out two jobs on our block of flats: one, replacing some security lights and the other replacing a worn out intercom system. Three of us are Directors of our own Management Committee and have had some difficulty in the past finding a reliable electrician. It is great to be able to report that in Matt we have found a reliable, efficient and thoroughly professional person. He carried out the whole process impressively, visiting to give a quote, answering queries, turning up at time stated, carrying out work as required, charging a reasonable fee, and being thoroughly polite and personable throughout. We shall certainly turn to him again with any future electrical needs.

Highly recommended. Clear up front price, quickly an appointment around my awkward work schedule. Arrived on time and worked hard and quickly. Did a great job.

Myself and my husband have been extremely happy with the work carried by Mr Fletcher. We are new to Leeds and I admit that we initially struggled to get any of our neighbours who had hired electricians to recommend them to us. I have no such reservations about Fletcher Electric. From the outset he made sure that we were all clear on exactly what work was to be carried out, thus there were no hidden costs. His work is to a very high standard and at each stage he made sure that we were happy with our decisions (every single socket outlet has been put where we asked for it, not just what would have made his life easier!!!!). The costs of the work carried out was comparable to other quotes we had obtained, but, it was his approach to it that gave us confidence ( clearly now, not misplaced). Despite our house being a complete bomb site, he was considerate of all aspects of it, thus saving many of its original features. He was very reliable turning up when he said he would and keeping us well informed of progress. He is a very polite and amiable young man, who accommodated other tradesperson in the house, as well as offering help to myself. It has been a pleasure to work with Matt and wish him well. Ally & Sean O'Riordan

Fantastic service. Friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Clean and tidy and very reliable, will certainly recommend to anyone. Had a complete re-wire and fletcher electric made everything so much easier. Thanks again. A++++++!

Matt installed a new fuse box on a house I recently purchased, after fitting the fuse box Matt then went about helping solve various other issues with the house (light sockets, alarm system etc) He went way beyond the extra mile to help me out. I’ll be using Matt again and would recommend to anyone. Top service at a reasonable price

Matt provided a top notch service and really quickly too. He arrived to assess the task in the same day and provided a very knowledgeable, detailed analysis of what was needed, with realistic pricing predictions. The job itself was done fantastically (replacement electric shower), especially considering that the existing fixtures in the house were very old and needed him to enlist a plumber to help, which he arranged on the day without issue. While he was there he also made safe some other electrical points in the house without extra charge. I thoroughly recommend Fletcher Electric, great service with a very fair price, top quality work and Matt's a nice chap too! I'll be calling him back for my next electrical jobs around the house.

Matthew was very efficient and professional. The work was carried out to a high standard, when agreed and I couldn't be happier. I would have no hesitation in recommending Fletcher Electric and I will certainly be using them again. Thanks!

Extremely pleased with the electrical work done but also the general care and attention to the job itself. Options and advice were given before the start of the job and care was given to the property during the work. Great communication. Definitely went the extra mile. Would use again and recommend with great enthusiasm.

Not only did Matt work quickly and efficiently to a high standard, he also helped identify some faulty wiring and then liaised with the distribution company on my behalf, saving me a huge headache! I had my cottage completely rewired by Fletcher Electric and I'm really pleased with the results. Matt was also great to work with. I would highly recommend him!

Thanks Matt - it was great that you could come round at relatively short notice and do that range of jobs for us. Will be in touch again should any more jobs arise. Kirsty and Dave

Fletcher electric was recommended to me by a friend who had previously had her house rewired by matt. He did a fantastic job at my house, completing the electrics in my kitchen and various other jobs to a really good standard. Everything looks really neat and tidy, all the sockets and switches are level unlike my old kitchen! A few extra things were required to be done so that electric safety regulations could be met, however I felt all of this was explained really well. Overall I was really happy and would be happy to recommend matt and his company to others. Thanks again matt!

I needed an electrician for a very small job that I'd attempted myself, and found Matt in North Leeds Life, turned out he lived a few doors away, he rang me back straight away, and called in on his way home, sorted my problem out for a very reasonable price. I discovered his website after he had gone, and realised his pricing was very reasonable. We had a total rewire 11 years ago, and paid as much as Matt is estimating now. Would definitely use him again.

First class from start to finish. Very professional indeed, works completed to a high standard and in good time! Good work Matt!

Eileen AspinallFeb 9, 2014 Matt responded quickly to our call, he did what he said he would do and was very professional. I am confident that I would be able to rely on him if we have any further problems. I would highly recommend using Matt.

I run a small business and had a problem with a faulty power supply tripping the electricity off. Matt quickly came and diagnosed the problem and got my tools working again. Great service I was impressed how quickly he found the problem! I Would use him again.

Matthew rewired a full house for us in Barnsley he did a wonderful tidy job with no fuss . The job was done on time and bang on the quote supplied . Highly recommended thanks again.

From the moment the phone was picked up I knew I was in safe hands. The electrician who came out was professional and really went the extra mile to make sure we were fully satisfied. He explained everything he needed to do and really took pride in his work. When you have a young family safety is really important, and there was certainly no cutting corners here. When the time came to pay the bill I was a little nervous knowing full well it had been a large and complicated job, but I was pleasantly surprised, the price was more than fair. And actually when you think about it, the safety of your family is priceless. I don't normally write reviews myself but I know it is a small company and so am more than happy to give Fletcher Electric my recommendation .
