Coleman Electrical and security Ltd

The electrics in our house were tripping. A previous electrician let us down. We rang Craig on looking at previous reviews. He came out within half an hour at the end of his working day. He, and Max were extremely thorough in diagnosing the problem, and once found quickly made the repair. Both guys extremely professional and personable. Highly recommend.

Brilliant work done! Had a recurring issue over the last year preventing the boiler from working. I had 5 different companies take a look within this time. Craig professionally identified the problem and rectified it within an hour and explained everything that was causing the problems in the first place. Highly recommend Coleman Electrical Ltd!

Craig rewired our lounge and fit new fuse box. Very professional job, trustworthy company and I'd definitely recommend them to anyone.

I had some wiring problems with a light switch that appeared to be unsafe. When I requested a quote, I got quick response that resulted in a same day fix. The chaps who attended were respectful, they fixed the issue promptly and charged a fair price. Many thanks.

Quick and reliable. Very professional service and will definitely use Coleman Electrical again.

Craig did a fantastic job installing our EV charger. We’ve used Craig previously for our house extension. He’s always reliable and takes pride in his work and looking after his customers. Would highly recommend Craig to anyone!

We have used Craig at Coleman Electrical on several occasions, he’s always been friendly, helpful, approachable and prompt. He has done numerous jobs from a full re-wire to changing a light fitting and has always done the job well and for a very reasonable price. Highly recommend!!!!!!

I’ve just finished a website project with Craig at Coleman Electrical and I can’t recommend him enough. He’s organised, responsive, and properly cares about doing things the right way. Communication was easy, decisions were quick, and the whole project ran smoothly because he put the effort in. Great bloke, great business.

Another happy customer. Craig responded quickly with a quote and came out to sort the problem soon after. Communication was excellent and I am very happy with the work done. I will be using again and would recommend.

High standards of professionalism and always willing to go the extra mile. Craig and the team are top quality. And great value for money.

Craig from Coleman Electricial was friendly, professional, and more than happy to come out for what was a relatively small job — changing two ceiling lights. The work was done quickly and to a high standard. Really appreciated the great service and friendly attitude. Highly recommend!

If you’re looking for an Electrician that is professional, polite, honest, reliable and friendly then look no further than - Coleman Electrical and security Ltd. Reasonably priced, you won’t be disappointed, workmanship is outstanding and if we could give you more than 5* we would 💯👌 We had some part rewiring, new lighting, a distribution board, decorative sockets, Craig and his team, Max and Gordon did an excellent job, clean and tidy work, kept us up to date every step of the way, what was meant to be straight forward turned out to be very challenging but Craig and his team who are not to be beaten fulfilled everything that was needed with absolute perfection. We thank Coleman Electrical for their commitment and honesty, and will definitely use again and will be recommended to family and friends. 😀

Craig responded immediately to an emergency call over a bank holiday, and quickly diagnosed the issue. He and his team then committed to a major rewire which, by working long hours without complaint and always with good humour, they accomplished within a week. We were impressed by their professionalism and sense of urgency, and would recommend them.

I’m so grateful to Craig for squeezing me in at short notice to fit an extractor fan, this enabled me to complete a home energy grant. They were super efficient & friendly, very tidy and gave honest advice. I will be using them in future for all my electrical needs and highly recommend them.

These guys helped me out when i'd been let down by another electrical company last minute! They are reliable & trustworthy and done exactly what I asked and more. Would definitely recommend 👌 great bunch of lads.

Craig came to do a number of jobs around our house. He is responsive, came out to quote the next day, and was able to start work within a week. He takes care with his work, and it considerate about practical factors (I.e. placement of lights, style of lights, etc). He is also easy to get on with. We will be using him for any future jobs.

Craig came out the day I phoned him - ( I was lucky, another job was not ready for him !) ... He was prompt, efficient, thorough and skilled. Charged what he said he would, and I will certainly use him again.

I saw a recommendation on Nextdoor and sent an enquiry form for some work I needed doing. Craig came back to me very quickly and arranged to come and give me a quote. On the day of the work this was carried out very efficiently and everything was tidied up before they finished. I can highly recommend him and will be using him again.

Craig came today to fit me a new CCTV system. He was friendly, polite, clean and tidy. With the help of his apprentice Matt, I can honestly say it is a job well done. I'll have no hesitation in using him again. Thank you Craig

I needed several outdoor double sockets fitting. Coleman Electrical were recommended on a local Facebook site. I got in touch to request a quote, Craig came out a day later, asked all the questions about usage of sockets to get an idea of what would be the best option. His knowledge of the best approach regarding my house, external cladding, internal pipes and steel frames gave me the confidence to go ahead with the work. Work has now been completed, despite the horrible rain. They have completed a fantastic job. Very professional, very friendly and polite. They tidied up and left everything spotless. I would not hesitate in using Coleman Electrical again and would recommend them to everyone. Brilliant job guys, many thanks

Craig and Max fitted an EV charger and outside light for us. Great service from start to finish. Craig came to quote when he said he would, job done when he said he would do it, great communication. Really pleased with the job. Craig really takes pride in his work and likes to get things looking neat too. Would definitely use them again.

Craig was great! He arranged to come round really quickly after we initially spoke and did a great job of fitting some light up mirrors for me. He was friendly, efficient and put me in contact with some other people who could do some other jobs I’ve been trying to get sorted also. The mirrors look great and I’d definitely use Craig again for any other work I need doing

We have used Coleman electrical on many occasions for electrical works at our work premises and our home over the years, Craig has done full rewires, alarms, cctv installs for us, very professional quality work we wouldn’t use any one else, highly recommended.

Craig has done all our electrical work, installed security cameras and fitted a new alarm system to our house. I can honestly say, Craig’s work is fantastic, all done in a very professional manner, looks and works perfectly. Nothing was too much trouble and we never felt rushed or pressured. We have had Craig do around 10+ jobs, in our old and new home, and I wouldn’t have anyone else. I can not recommend him highly enough ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Thanks to Craig and Max for a great job done today! EV charger is now fitted after what looked to be a tricky one, Craig sorted it to come up with a very neat solution. Definitely recommend!

These guys were brilliant, gave me a quote, turned up when they said they would and completed the job promptly. Paid what I was quoted and they were friendly too. Would recommend them to anyone

Craig did a fabulous job when I’d been badly let down by someone else. Very reasonable charge, totally professional with a thorough job, and can’t fault how clean the place was when he left. Will definitely use again.

Prompt response to an emergency and a very reasonable price for the work

Craig came out same day as an emergency call following a storm that resulted in a loss of lighting. He did a great job and the level of customer service provided was outstanding. I would highly recommend Craig's services and would not hesitate to engage him again in the future. Thanks for coming out so quickly

We lost power due to a faul, house getting cold & dark. Called out Coleman Electric and they fixed it quickly so very happy with the service.

Would recommend. Really professional, clean and reliable. Great electrical job done, would be first choice again 👍.

Craig and his team are fab! He is so fab that you need to get into his diary asap as he gets so booked up. He is worth the wait as his work is impeccable! They fitted some lovely lights in the front of our house and we love how it turned out.

Craig came out at short notice to check my electrics after a 3.30 am power cut. When he arrived that afternoon he checked the house and found it to be a problem with the main supply outside of the house. He called northern power whilst in the house and explained the problem. Fast reliable service, and a lovely touch of a follow text the next day to make sure northern power had resolved the issue.

Can't fault Coleman Electrical and will definitely use again if we need an electrician. Had no power in our house, did the usual of checking fuses etc. Craig came out the same day after being recommended to us and the supplier telling us it was a fault internally. Turns out it was a fault externally which Craig conveyed to them. All sorted in the early hours of the morning. Appreciated the text in the morning though off Craig to check we had power.

Had a complicated lighting issue. Came over, did all sorts of tests, found some issues that other electricians hadn't noted. Advised of all stages. Ultimately, easier to run a new cable to get to light point. Great service.

Craig was a true knight in shining armour for my elderly friend whose house was flooded recently. He attended late one evening to assess the situation, then arranged the necessary rewiring. The work was completed swiftly with attention to detail and lots of consultation as the work progressed to ensure that everything would meet her needs when she returned home. The house was left clean and tidy. I would highly recommend their services. Many thanks to Craig and the team.

Many thanks to Craig and Tommy on an excellent rewire job completed on my Dads new home. They’ve explained everything to my dad and gone the extra mile where needed. Left the property clean and tidy too! Highly recommended 👍🏼

Craig and his team fully rewired our house in July 24. Communication was good with questions and updates being done through WhatsApp since we weren’t living in the house at the time. They left the house clean and tidy which helped massively since we have two small children. No complaints at all and we’ll be getting Craig back in future to do more work.

Totally and utterly fantastic! Second to none!

Great customer service and a brilliant job done. I highly recommend. 🙏👌

Craig and Tommy came to do an Electrical Safety Check for me in LS12. They were both friendly, very efficient and very professional. I would happily recommend Coleman Electrical for any of your electrical requirements.

Would highly recommend Craig and his team. I was lucky just to stumble across them on facebook. Turned up when stated and kept me in the loop with everything. Fast with every communication and nothing is too much trouble. And left the house very tidy, considering all the work they had to do for the house rewiring. Will certainly use again and best of all a very fair price!! Thank you Craig

Absolute pleasure to have Craig sort out my security lighting and move an inside light fitting. First class workmanship (he takes great pride in the smallest detail) Fairly priced and quick to respond messages etc. Will definitely use again.

Craig and the team came and installed power to the loft. The job was done really neatly with great attention to detail (rare these days!), kept us in the loop and confirmed things as the job was being completed. Everything was left clean and tidy and we are really happy with the work completed. Would highly recommend them to anyone looking for an Electrician!

Craig came to replace a light that a previous electrician was unable to do. I would definitely recommend he is reliable, polite and tidy.

Craig and his colleague were professional ,prompt and carried out the work to a high standard. We were very pleased with all the advice given .Excellent service at a reasonable rate.Would recommend to anyone requiring electrical work to be carried out.

Craig did an amazing job to find the reason for an electrical fault in my kitchen - and fixed it quickly! Knowledgeable and professional (with all the reassuring accreditation), I won’t hesitate to use Coleman Electrical again!

Craig and his team at Coleman Electrical completed a full house rewire at our newly purchased home in Roundhay, Leeds. Following the homebuyer survery, one of the main recommendation was to sort the original 1930s electrics! When researching electricians, Coleman Electrical stood out with their NICEIC approved contractor accreditation and demonstrating significant experience in rewires (it's a big job!) Craig ended up exceeding our expectations, not only was he easy to deal with and explained things in an easy to understand way. The quality of his teams work was exceptional, going above and beyond to ensure we received everything we needed to make modern family life as easy as possible. Craig also arranged for a plasterer and follow up cleaner. This isn't usually part of a rewire service with other companies and massively helped us as we had a newborn baby to deal with, amongst a house move and everything else! If you want a fully-managed service, a top-class rewire and a friendly team who take the time to talk to you, then go with Coleman Electrical. Thanks again Craig and Team, we're over the moon with your work!

A brilliant experience, highlighted the issues and explained what work needed to be carried out. Very professional. I would highly recommend.

Craig fitted a new distribution board for us as our current one was ancient and had been added to too much already. Craig gave us good advice on our options, quoted promptly and got to our jobs in reasonable time. The work done was very professional - looks much better and he sought out and resolved a number of other faults on the system so we are assured that our system is much safer. Did good tidy work, tidied up after themselves. We would definitely us them again for any electrical work

Fabulous, friendly, courteous and professional - I start to run out of superlatives about 'Coleman Electrical'. Each time I rang, I got a timely response (which I can't say for some other companies I contacted). We are about to move house and needed to sort out a relatively small (but tricky to diagnose/fault find) job i.e. use of a 3 way two gang light switch was tripping the mains fuse box. Craig and his apprentice kept me up to date with their expected time of arrival, and did a great job of diagnosing what the problem was and explaining the process of eliminating potential causes one by one. They even vacuumed up bits of small plaster and dust that had inevitably fallen down when examining behind ceiling light fittings. Needless to say - problem solved and we have a fully functioning (and safe) set of downstairs lights. I feel confident to recommend Coleman Electrical to others, and will definitely be giving them a call next time i need an electrician.

I had my alarm and cameras fitted by Craig and his team and they were brilliant, on time and got stuck straight in. The quality of the work is excellent I couldn’t be happier and i would highly recommend.

We used Colemans Electricals today for the first time. Craig provided us with an absolute excellent service, came out at a moments notice .Craig diagnosed the issue upon arrival and got to work quickly. Great service, very friendly and professional and gave us lots of helpful advice . We will definitely use his services again should we need to (hopefully not anytime soon lol)

Craig and his team completed a full house rewire for us in October 2022 shortly after we purchased our house, including the addition of multiple new sockets, outside lighting, a new fuse box and a new Nest heating & hot water smart thermostat. Despite only just purchasing the house, we had been living in it for years as tenants; this meant that we were living in the property (with our young daughter) while the work was done. Not only did Craig have to work around all of our belongings and furniture, he also had to ensure we were left with electrics overnight so we could carry on as normally as possible; he was really accommodating of our needs and planned the work out appropriately so we were inconvenienced as little as possible. His team tidied up after themselves every day which made it so much more pleasant to live through! The quality of Craig's work is excellent; the wiring to our new fuse box was a thing of beauty (which I sadly didn't get a photo of!), and he invests in quality tools to complete tasks like chasing for new sockets as neatly as possible. He fully tested and provided relevant certification for all the work. We've had absolutely no issues in the 7 months since the work was completed. I would absolutely recommend using Craig for any of your electrical needs; he gets the job done and he and his team are friendly, genuine people who are a pleasure to have around. He is now "our electrician" and we look forward to working with him again in the future!

I needed an electrician quickly as had decorators coming in. My query was answered quickly, they visited that evening and the quote given next morning. Work was done the following day and they were working until 7pm to finish it for me. Professional and polite and explained everything that was to be done so that I could understand it! (No mean task!) Would definitely recommend them.

We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Coleman Electrical & Security. Craig has done some planned work for us in the past and also came out to us in an emergency at short notice. He is very professional, has good communication with you and does a really thorough job. He’s also a really friendly guy who you would trust in your property.

Definitely recommend this company for your electrical problems. It's great to know of a highly professional electrician who is conscientious, reliable and has a great team working with him. Thanks Craig, job well done.

Fantastic service - quick reply to my initial enquiry on a Tuesday, small job done and dusted on Thursday. Seen through until everything was working completely despite not needing to because it was my WiFi holding things up and not the electrical job. Very friendly and helpful. Couldn’t be happier, many thanks 👍🏼

Highly recommended. Thank you very much

I was recommended Craig by another electrician to do a full house rewire and install kitchen spotlights and an outdoor light. Craig and colleagues turned up on time and completed the job to a high standard with very little mess which was important as the house was fully furnished. Throughout the job, Craig was in contact to check I was happy with the light placements in the kitchen and to keep me updated on their progress. I fully recommend Craig and would not hesitate to use him again for any future work.

Impressed

Fitted some outdoor electric points friendly, reliable, reasonably priced will use again, good service

Absolutely fantastic service and team. I cannot recommend Craig highly enough. He is proactive, communicative and knowledgeable. I was very comfortable having him and his team in my house.

Craig is a genuine and competent electrical and alarm engineer and I would recommend him for both aspects of his trade.

When my mum passed away. We rallied round to support my dad (74 years old). My sisters and I realised the electrics in the house had not been touched in almost 40 years. So began looking for an electrician. Craig Coleman Electrical and Security came to provide a quote, which proved to be highly competitive, professional and approachable. So my dad decided to go with them. They began the job and achieved what they said they would do well within their predicted timescale. We knew rewiring the whold house would be a messy job, so we're very surprised at how little mess was made as they were conscious to use a new vaccum which God rid of the dust as they worked. My dad has a habit of asking questions and Craig was courteous throughout esplaining each section of work to be undertaken. My dad was genuinely impressed with their work and attitude to work. He has stated he would have absolutely no reservations in highly recommending Craig and his team to family and friends and would definately use them again should the need arise.

Craig is thorough and professional, as well as friendly. He worked his was through a big electrical job that had been only half finished (and not very well!) - sorted everything in a methodical and patient fashion. Would thoroughly recommend and will use again. Thanks Craig.

Craig and his team did a complete rewire of our property. Throughout the work they were always punctual, efficient & friendly. They put in long hours to get the work done as soon as possible and took care to keep disruption to a minimum. Craig always took the trouble to explain what work needed doing and why and I am very satisfied that the work was all carried out to the highest standard. They did a fantastic job, including cleaning up afterwards, and I’m very happy with the job they’ve done. Highly recommended.

Craig replaced our old fuse box and moved a few sockets and light switches. Great work and reasonable price, highly recommend!

Fantastic electricians. Our entire house tripped out and the first electricians we called didn't even know how to fix the problem. Our landlord sent Craig and Anton over. They inspected the house, did a thorough job whilst being lovely and chatty and left us very happy!!

Real great help, sorted out one issue for me which was an emergency then reported something else that was dangerous and came back so quick to sort that out before a new oven installation , really great service!!

Nice bloke and Great honest service. Huge amount of knowledge and clearly very experienced. Now my go to for any electrical requirements.

A company you can trust to do the job right and for a fair price. Top blokes.

I can’t recommend these guys enough, we were new to Leeds and needing a full rewire, Craig was the first out of anyone we asked to come and inspect and give us a quote. The job was carried out quickly and efficiently at a reasonable price. They put safety in mind at all times and take care to tidy up after. To be honest it was an absolute pleasure to have them here and we’ll be using them again for any electrical jobs.

Friendly, cost effective, informative and beat my time deadline by a whole day. Great service!

Craig Coleman and his band of professional workforce, are always a pleasure to appoint. They are knowledgeable, fast and accurate in getting a quote across to us for small or large jobs. We've used them from a full house rewire to hanging a kitchen pendant light. They've never let us down or disappointed. We would always use them and have no hesitation to recommend.

Coleman electrical carry out all of our connections. They are certified, professional, competative and reliable. I could not reccomend them enough. 5 🌟

Fantastic service, had a flood and water got into the electrics, Craig was round in 5 minutes to sort it out, thanks for helping me and missing your tea, Fully recommend Craig and his passion for helping his customers.
