The electrics in our house were tripping. A previous electrician let us down. We rang Craig on looking at previous reviews. He came out within half an hour at the end of his working day. He, and Max were extremely thorough in diagnosing the problem, and once found quickly made the repair. Both guys extremely professional and personable. Highly recommend.

Craig responded immediately to an emergency call over a bank holiday, and quickly diagnosed the issue. He and his team then committed to a major rewire which, by working long hours without complaint and always with good humour, they accomplished within a week. We were impressed by their professionalism and sense of urgency, and would recommend them.

Craig came to do a number of jobs around our house. He is responsive, came out to quote the next day, and was able to start work within a week. He takes care with his work, and it considerate about practical factors (I.e. placement of lights, style of lights, etc). He is also easy to get on with. We will be using him for any future jobs.

I needed several outdoor double sockets fitting. Coleman Electrical were recommended on a local Facebook site. I got in touch to request a quote, Craig came out a day later, asked all the questions about usage of sockets to get an idea of what would be the best option. His knowledge of the best approach regarding my house, external cladding, internal pipes and steel frames gave me the confidence to go ahead with the work. Work has now been completed, despite the horrible rain. They have completed a fantastic job. Very professional, very friendly and polite. They tidied up and left everything spotless. Craig was great! He arranged to come round really quickly after we initially spoke and did a great job of fitting some light up mirrors for me. He was friendly, efficient and put me in contact with some other people who could do some other jobs I’ve been trying to get sorted also. Craig has done all our electrical work, installed security cameras and fitted a new alarm system to our house. Craig and his team are fab! He is so fab that you need to get into his diary asap as he gets so booked up. He is worth the wait as his work is impeccable! They fitted some lovely lights in the front of our house and we love how it turned out.
Craig came out at short notice to check my electrics after a 3.30 am power cut. When he arrived that afternoon he checked the house and found it to be a problem with the main supply outside of the house. He called northern power whilst in the house and explained the problem. Fast reliable service, and a lovely touch of a follow text the next day to make sure northern power had resolved the issue.
Can't fault Coleman Electrical and will definitely use again if we need an electrician. Had no power in our house, did the usual of checking fuses etc. Craig came out the same day after being recommended to us and the supplier telling us it was a fault internally. Turns out it was a fault externally which Craig conveyed to them. All sorted in the early hours of the morning. Appreciated the text in the morning though off Craig to check we had power.
Had a complicated lighting issue. Came over, did all sorts of tests, found some issues that other electricians hadn't noted. Advised of all stages. Ultimately, easier to run a new cable to get to light point. Great service.

Craig and his team fully rewired our house in July 24. Communication was good with questions and updates being done through WhatsApp since we weren’t living in the house at the time. They left the house clean and tidy which helped massively since we have two small children. No complaints at all and we’ll be getting Craig back in future to do more work.

Craig and his team at Coleman Electrical completed a full house rewire at our newly purchased home in Roundhay, Leeds. Following the homebuyer survery, one of the main recommendation was to sort the original 1930s electrics! When researching electricians, Coleman Electrical stood out with their NICEIC approved contractor accreditation and demonstrating significant experience in rewires (it's a big job!) Craig ended up exceeding our expectations, not only was he easy to deal with and explained things in an easy to understand way. The quality of his teams work was exceptional, going above and beyond to ensure we received everything we needed to make modern family life as easy as possible. Craig also arranged for a plasterer and follow up cleaner. This isn't usually part of a rewire service with other companies and massively helped us as we had a newborn baby to deal with, amongst a house move and everything else! Craig fitted a new distribution board for us as our current one was ancient and had been added to too much already. Craig gave us good advice on our options, quoted promptly and got to our jobs in reasonable time. The work done was very professional - looks much better and he sought out and resolved a number of other faults on the system so we are assured that our system is much safer. Did good tidy work, tidied up after themselves. We would definitely us them again for any electrical work
Fabulous, friendly, courteous and professional - I start to run out of superlatives about 'Coleman Electrical'. Each time I rang, I got a timely response (which I can't say for some other companies I contacted). We are about to move house and needed to sort out a relatively small (but tricky to diagnose/fault find) job i.e. use of a 3 way two gang light switch was tripping the mains fuse box. Craig and his apprentice kept me up to date with their expected time of arrival, and did a great job of diagnosing what the problem was and explaining the process of eliminating potential causes one by one. They even vacuumed up bits of small plaster and dust that had inevitably fallen down when examining behind ceiling light fittings. Needless to say - problem solved and we have a fully functioning (and safe) set of downstairs lights. I feel confident to recommend Coleman Electrical to others, and will definitely be giving them a call next time i need an electrician.
I had my alarm and cameras fitted by Craig and his team and they were brilliant, on time and got stuck straight in. The quality of the work is excellent I couldn’t be happier and i would highly recommend.
We used Colemans Electricals today for the first time. Craig provided us with an absolute excellent service, came out at a moments notice .Craig diagnosed the issue upon arrival and got to work quickly. Craig and his team completed a full house rewire for us in October 2022 shortly after we purchased our house, including the addition of multiple new sockets, outside lighting, a new fuse box and a new Nest heating & hot water smart thermostat. Despite only just purchasing the house, we had been living in it for years as tenants; this meant that we were living in the property (with our young daughter) while the work was done. Not only did Craig have to work around all of our belongings and furniture, he also had to ensure we were left with electrics overnight so we could carry on as normally as possible; he was really accommodating of our needs and planned the work out appropriately so we were inconvenienced as little as possible. His team tidied up after themselves every day which made it so much more pleasant to live through! The quality of Craig's work is excellent; the wiring to our new fuse box was a thing of beauty (which I sadly didn't get a photo of!), and he invests in quality tools to complete tasks like chasing for new sockets as neatly as possible. He fully tested and provided relevant certification for all the work. We've had absolutely no issues in the 7 months since the work was completed. I would absolutely recommend using Craig for any of your electrical needs; he gets the job done and he and his team are friendly, genuine people who are a pleasure to have around. He is now "our electrician" and we look forward to working with him again in the future!
I needed an electrician quickly as had decorators coming in. My query was answered quickly, they visited that evening and the quote given next morning. Work was done the following day and they were working until 7pm to finish it for me. Professional and polite and explained everything that was to be done so that I could understand it! (No mean task!) Would definitely recommend them.

I was recommended Craig by another electrician to do a full house rewire and install kitchen spotlights and an outdoor light. Craig and colleagues turned up on time and completed the job to a high standard with very little mess which was important as the house was fully furnished. Throughout the job, Craig was in contact to check I was happy with the light placements in the kitchen and to keep me updated on their progress. When my mum passed away. We rallied round to support my dad (74 years old). My sisters and I realised the electrics in the house had not been touched in almost 40 years. So began looking for an electrician. Craig Coleman Electrical and Security came to provide a quote, which proved to be highly competitive, professional and approachable. So my dad decided to go with them. They began the job and achieved what they said they would do well within their predicted timescale. We knew rewiring the whold house would be a messy job, so we're very surprised at how little mess was made as they were conscious to use a new vaccum which God rid of the dust as they worked. My dad has a habit of asking questions and Craig was courteous throughout esplaining each section of work to be undertaken. My dad was genuinely impressed with their work and attitude to work. He has stated he would have absolutely no reservations in highly recommending Craig and his team to family and friends and would definately use them again should the need arise.
