Luke was reachable end to end on the delivery, which really helped smooth out any bumps. I wasn't asked to provide ridiculous pre self-surveys that I'd had been asked elsewhere. Most important, the installer Michael Knight was extremely good on the installation, as it was tricky to run the cables under the kitchens hardwood floorings void. Very happy.

We have recently had a Solar Panel, Battery and Gateway package fitted to our home by Everyone’s Energy. The end to end experience has been simple, straightforward and effective. Each stage of the process from the initial survey; arranging the installation date; delivery of equipment; erecting scaffolding; installation itself; collecting the rubbish and removal of scaffolding was carried out by competent professionals who arrived on schedule and undertook their tasks with quiet efficiency. Absolutely delighted! Planning to get solar seems to be a bit of a minefield, every solar company offering and suggesting something different. Thankfully, by luck, I stumbled on Everyone's Energy. A family business that seemed to make everything much simpler, no pressure just helpful guidance to a person that had never ever thought of solar before and understood very little about the nuances of Solar panels and batteries. I chose 29 Aiko panels and a Sigenergy battery and couldn't be happier. Great team installing the equipment and an even better team back in the office holding my hand and answering silly questions for me as if I was one of their family. Had my solar panels installed yesterday and I am SO happy with them! Everyone’s Energy have been fantastic in all areas. I enquired with 4 different energy companies, these guys were not only the best value for money, but the only company that wanted to come and see my property, to talk through the steps and systems before committing to anything!! Really pleased with the decision to go with Everyone's Energy for the install of solar, battery, gateway and car charger. Everything has been efficient, friendly and overall consistent. They seem to attract people with a genuine enthusiasm for renewables. The team have kept in touch since the install to make sure everything is going well, the one issue that cropped up post-install was resolved the next day. We’ve just had our equipment installed today, and I wanted to say what a fantastic experience it has been. The installation team were an absolute credit to your company. From the moment they arrived, they took the time to explain everything clearly, listened to all of my requirements, and made sure every one of them was met. I was genuinely surprised by how quickly they completed the installation, and even more impressed by how clean and tidy they left the property afterwards. Everyone that I interacted with at Everyone's Energy has been incredibly friendly and helpful right from the start. They are not the cheapest but by far not the most expensive and weren't pushy in any way. They answered all my questions and were happy to adjust the setup after discussing my requirements with them. The installation of our solar panels, battery and new EV charger all went smoothly and has been working perfectly. An absolute pleasure to deal with and I have already recommended them to other people I know. Highly recommended!

We recently had our Sigenergy Solar PV and batteries system installed by Everyone's Energy. After several quotes from other companies, none of whom gave me any confidence or certainty as to the number of panels we could fit across our three roofs Everyone's Energy came to do a site visit and we're excellent to work with from start to finish. As things were tight for space they went up on the roof to physically measure and we could then plan our system size knowing what we would spend and what we would get. Harry was our main contact and he was really friendly and helpful as was Luke and the rest of the team. The installers not only turned up on time, but when a storm was forecast they actually contacted us and arranged to come a little earlier to get ahead of the game. I'm certain I could have shaved a few £ off with a other quote from a different competitor but I know this installation was done with no headaches, properly installed and great service. All our paperwork to get our export in place was with us in no time to, so given we were excited to start selling back to the grid this it was good to not have any delays after the installation. Definitely recommended - and thanks for a great job.

Ours was not an easy install because the house was extended years ago leaving us with three sections of south facing roof with only a north facing roof as an alternative. Getting quotes is relatively easy as companies can use satellite imaging but selecting a company is much harder. Optimising the number of panels on the roof space is key and several companies got this seriously wrong. Everyone's Energy was one of three companies that we looked at seriously. Luke came to do the initial survey and design. I found him helpful, friendly and with no hard sell. He took a range of photos including our garage and roof space and used a drone to get some aerial photos. We decided to proceed with Everyone’s Energy and were not disappointed Their organisation was excellent. The scaffolding and hardware delivery was efficient and to schedule. On the day of the install, the roofers found some problems with our roof which prevented them going ahead. Everyone’s Energy was patient with us and left the scaffolding in place whilst we got the repairs done. A friend had a similar problem and had to pay twice for scaffolding. With the roof fixed, the installation went well. The electricians made a neat install of the inverter and battery in our garage exactly where I wanted in order to fit around my bikes! The roofers made a good job of the panels on the roof. After the install, the scaffolding was taken down promptly and all the rubbish was collected. Everyone’s Energy operates a referral scheme and we did refer someone who went on to use them. We were therefore entitled to a small refund but this took well over a month and too many phone calls. It was quite frustrating, given how efficient everything else was. We are very pleased with our system. It is generating power and although we have had a lot of grey days, we have already seen a reduction on our bills.

Our solar system was installed just over a year ago now and we remain very impressed with the continued excellent service we have received from Everyone's Energy. The installation was carried out on time and to schedule. Their follow-up service has been excellent. Highly recommended!

Recently utilised Everyone’s Energy to undertake the supply and installation of 12No 10Kw battery system to support our new PV installation. From the surveys , to the mobilisation to the installation EE were on top of their delivery . We are now preparing to pay zero ££ towards our electricity within the brighter months which allows us to breath a huge sigh of relief . Overall positive. At the start, I disliked being told I had to sign documents on the surveyor's phone to say I understood the new guidelines, without being given sight of the guidelines. It turned out the new guidelines say putting the battery in the garage comes with a fire risk, and any inside installation, including garage, should have fire doors, interconnected smoke alarms, and other fire protection measures. After reading the documents online, I changed our order so the battery etc is now on an outside wall, which is safer and compliant with the new guidelines. Search for the guidelines and download them here for free: PAS 63100:2024 Then there was the bird netting that had to be redone because it had a 2 inch gap all the way around. I went up onto the roof and finished it myself after the guys returned to fix it and still left some gaps. But to be fair, the job was much better after they came back the second time than after the first attempt. Despite these hiccups, we now have a fully functional solar system, which we're happy with. Just could have done with fewer demands for 'blind' signatures, more sight of the paperwork, and people who do the bird netting properly. Our panels were installed in Sept 2024. I didn't leave a review at the time because of the mixed experience and complications, but it's been running well for a year and I'm happy. The ongoing support is fine.

Highly recommend this company for solar panels and batteries. Everyone that I have had dealings with from the office staff to the contractors installing the equipment has been exceptional. Madison in the office has been great. We only had one issue where a guttering clip was broken and it was fixed within a week of being noticed. Now looking to add further batteries to our system. We currently have 11 panels and one 5kw battery. Have seen a very health drop in our electricity bill and was in credit by end of summer to the tune of £973!! Never been that high in credit. Highly recommend solar panels and using this company.

The customer service is excellent. The lady on the phone is always helpful and cheerful. The App is not as easy as it should be to use. I have installed the batteries for 2 years, they still called me to make sure if there is any issue.

I can thoroughly recommend Everyone’s Energy to anyone considering solar energy. We used the Solar Together Buckinghamshire project. The cost of 11 panels with battery was much lower than we thought and they seem to be working efficiently. The battery is charged fully by early afternoon and we have only taken 1kwh from the grid since installation 5 days ago. All the staff we dealt with are knowledgable, polite and actually call YOU back. 10 out of 10 for customer service. We are looking forward to all the free energy as well as exporting the excess to the grid. If you are pondering go for it- you will not be disappointed.

We had an existing solar panel system, and wanted to add storage batteries to our system. Installation was done with the minimum of fuss and any issues that arose with the system (we had a power outage while on holiday) were dealt with quickly and efficiently. We had solar panels and a battery installed by Everyone’s Energy. All now working really well. The company were excellent communicators, their teams were well organised and arrived on the set dates. The work was completed quickly and tidily, despite the unique challenges of our property, which is almost three floors in height at the back. Any concerns we had after the initial completion were dealt with quickly and then followed up.

I took 8 or 9 quotes on a solar and battery instalation. Had a variety of prices between £19,000 and £7,000 for slightly different specs and positioning for a garage roof to a pitched roof above my dorma. Everyone's Energy won my trust and install. They were not pushy, didn't oversell an over sized system and gave fair reviews of where best to put the solar and battery compared to other companies by considering all the pros and cons of the work involved. It was was this approach that convinced me to go with them. Everyone I delt with was friendly and dealt with the issues effectively. There were a few issues with the install, the roofer didn't turn up on the booked day due to bad weather. The electrician turned up and installed my battery and isolar hot water system before the panels were put up, but 2 days later the roofer turned up as rearranged and put the panels up in half a day. The system connected up well in June 2025 and I started to notice the difference straight away. It is now October, I have set up an Octopus export tarriff and I've had no issues with the install or operation of the system. Financially, my Octopus account was -£600 in June when the install took place and in October my Octopus account is £422 in credit. It has made a huge difference to family finances. Looking forward to next year to be able to compare the finances over a full 12 months but in the short term it has made a visable difference. I'd recommend the iboost for hot water as this massive lowered our gas consumption in the summer months with 2 teenage girls in the house. I am glad I used this company and their recommendations suited our needs on an east west facing house with dorma windows on both sides it wasn't a straight forward install but they worked out a good package that was towards the lower end of the quotes I received. I have 12 panels and a 5.2KW Fox battery with iboost and Zappi charger installed. All working perfectly. A satisfied customer and when I expand the system and increase battery capacity I will use them again. Harry set up the quote and Maddison dealt with install arrangements and after sales were both professional and helpful in seeing the deal to a successful completion for all involved.

Very happy with the service received from Everyone's Energy: they've always been extremely helpful and easy to reach, from the survey and quotation phase to the after-installation and paperwork-related phase. All the people we interacted with have been extremely professional and patient and helpful. This includes the survey engineer, the person who delivered the material, the installers, the electrician and all the people who answered to our queries via email and/or via phone. For us, it took a little longer than expected to receive all the paperwork but every time I called them they were able to give us updated and explain the delay. Definitely recommended!

Everyone's Energy have designed and fitted two systems for me: - Battery storage for a 2010 solar installation (2022), and previously reviewed, and: - Extra solar panels dedicated to battery charging (July 2025) The most recent installation was carried out perfectly with outstanding organisation: - first, a detailed survey, clear plan and quote - after signature, building on schedule of scaffolding, delivery of materials, installation of the system, the rubbish collection and scaffolding takedown. All on-time as planned. TAKE CARE! Fitting solar on the roof of an older property is not a simple task, In my case 11 new roof tiles were required, which without their visit I would not have known about until the roof leaked! It's essential to work with a company that has high levels of expertise, and who will be around subsequently if you need support. I get weekly calls from "cowboys" trying to sell me quick fixes or a "free maintenance visit". These people are a scourge and they will never get anywhere near my installation or roof! I can, without hesitation, recommend Everyone's Energy. It's simple, for Solar, they are MY chosen supplier.

I am so pleased that my local council teamed up with Everyone's Energy: from the initial contact to signing off, everything went smoothly and efficiently. Workmen came when I expected them to arrive; they worked professionally and cleaned up after themselves. More importantly, they were a pleasure to have around. Everybody involved seemed to be intent on making my experience as positive as possible.

Simply a fabulous experience with Everyone's Energy survey and planning very smooth, as for the installation - scaffolding arrived on the Tuesday, panels delivered and put into our garage on the Wednesday, Roofers worked their Magic Friday morning and the Electrician handled the wires and Inverter Friday afternoon; just leaving Fin to connect up the Batteries a little later the same day - a minor fettle with some connections on the Monday and we were up and running generating ~2kw ! The entire team were super from our first call right through to paying the final invoice - would most certainly recommend to anyone considering this addition to their home.

Got an 11 panel solar system with FoxESS inverter and battery. Plus they installed the Myenergi Zappi EV charger. At every stage they have been very difficult to work with, poor communicators with scant attention to provide any customer services. My problem was that I took their words on the Everyonesenergi website more seriously than they do! Expensive too.

We first had contact with Everyone's Energy via our local council and the price quoted seemed really reasonable. Our site was surveyed by Spencer and after installation he came to check everything was okay and give instructions about the App etc. I have to say every person involved were really polite and nice plus all agreed dates was performed on time and with no fuss and the end product of producing our own electricity is amazing. We have had it for over a month now and we are really pleased. Would highly recommend.

Had my solar panels, battery and inverter installed about 3 weeks ago. All is working well. Installation planning before hand - scaffolding erected and materials delivery - went perfectly as planned. On the day the solar panel installers and electricians arrived as planned and had it all up and running by 4pm. No issues from my end, and everyone on the installation team was friendly, communicated well and respected my property. During the sales process, Luke - our contact - informed us of all of the options, nothing felt like high pressurised selling - he created a feeling of trust and honesty . Would highly recommend this company.

Had a solar and battery system installed by Everyone's Energy in July 2025 and couldn’t be happier with the result. Requirements were the installation needed to be neat and tidy with minimum wires making the house look messy (wife’s criteria), and minimum internal disruption, i.e. no ceilings being ripped out of the living room etc. I wanted a decent sized solar array in neat black panels, a decent sized battery and home backup abilities – largely because I wouldn’t want to be in a power cut with a full battery which I’m unable to use. I’d previously tried Octopus Energy and had wanted to buy a Tesla system off them as met most requirements, largely because of the 0% finance they offered. In short they were awful – they clearly go for the lower end of the market and have their own specific rules about not lifting floorboards and similar – get the impression they’re really targeting the easy jobs. Got all the way to installation date when from ground level one of their team said they suspected asbestos in a 2009 extension soffit due to some dirt around an extractor fan, so team had to pack up and go home. Wouldn’t listen to a word I said or the asbestos expert I managed to get on the phone saying there’s no way it could be asbestos and their “diagnosis” didn’t make any sense. Seemed they wanted to clock off on a Friday. I told Octopus to get the scaffolding down asap as I was cancelling immediately. Awful company made up of disillusioned subcontractors – have heard other horror stories since. Everyone’s Energy couldn’t have been more different. After discussing what I wanted they recommended the Sigenergy system, which I much preferred to the previous Tesla proposal and has all the same functionality with the additional home gateway module. Plus it’s more future-proof and flexible, and I ended up going for a larger capacity (two 8KWh batteries in a stack). They were also much more proactive in suggesting different cable routes and equipment positioning – Luke came and did measurements and came up with an initial proposal, and an electrician (who would actually be the one doing the instal) came and did his own survey, which resulted in some adjustments which I was very happy with. Scaffolding went up in a morning and the installation happened soon after. Some problems on the day as measurements were slightly off and one panel couldn’t fit, but the instal team were brilliant. Electrician had a harder time of it as the fuse board is awkwardly placed but he managed in the end, and he had to wait a while for some additional materials to be delivered. Throughout they kept me in the loop on what was going on – both the onsite team and I could always call Madison at their offices who was happy to help. System was activated at 1pm on a Friday and since then I haven’t paid a penny for electricity usage! Generates more than we can use even on a very cloudy day and battery powers the house in evenings and overnight. Can’t wait to get final paperwork so I can set up the export tariff! Overall couldn’t recommend the company more, team were responsive and proactive and really cared about delivery, and fully took on board what we’d discussed we wanted. I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again in future either when expanding the system if needed or putting in an EV charger at a later date.

18 months ago we had 14 solar panels plus batteries installed by Everyone's Energy via the Suffolk County Council Solar Together Scheme. They were a great company to deal with from the quote stage through to commissioning, no pushy sales just helpful advice. We were kept informed throughout and knew what to expect and when to expect it. The whole process went very smoothly and took about a week although workmen where not on site every day. Contact has been good both before and after installation and we've been made to feel like valued customers. I have no hesitation in recomending this company and would use again if we ever need an upgrade.

Everything was performed on the scheduled dates: survey, scaffolding delivery & erection, panels etc. The personnel were excellent. A loose roof tile was spotted during the instal and replaced. The electrician's ladder was not quite long enough so scaffolding had to be erected at very short notice but the job was still completed on the due day. Everyone was very friendly and helpful all round. My only complaint was that they arrived before 8 a.m! No hestitation in recommending this company.

Really excellent company to do business with. There is no hard sell, they carefully listen to you requirements and work with you to provide the best solution. We have gone for solar panels, battery storage, and a zappi EV charger. The staff couldn't have been more helpful at each stage, and they have kept us well informed of what was happening. We are very happy with the installed system, and over the last month we haven't taken any electricity from the grid. This includes running our EV. When I decided to install a solar system, I wanted to support a local installer. After reading reviews, I chose Everyone’s Energy UK, and I’m very glad I did. They provided a competitive quote and clearly communicated the installation date. On the day of installation, the roofing team arrived on time and did an excellent job fitting the solar panels. Later in the afternoon, the electricians arrived and carefully planned the most efficient and tidy route to connect the system to the grid. We had been looking to do solar panels for a while, and the opportunity came about and we contacted Everyone's Energy as part of the Solar Together Hertfordshire push. I cannot impress how much I was impressed by the process. Once we signed up, we had a clear explanation of the process and the timescale. PVs delivered, scaffolding up, PVs installed, electrics connected, scaffolding down within a week. I cannot find anything to fault with this. I'm typing this knowing not only am I not paying for the electricity but I am earning. The installation took only 2 months from contract agreement to completion and that included the Christmas Holidays. I was given a date in January and they started and finished on exactly the days they stated. No fuss and no mess and priced very competitively. Very pleased with system and it has saved me nearly £6000 in electricity use in less than 4 years. In addition having an EV has allowed me to go on an Off Peak tariff and with battery storage my savings are even more than I expected. On purely solar and battery terms I am almost 2/3rd paid off my initial outlay and with EV savings combined I have more than covered the costs of installation. Only wish that I had gone bigger at the time.

Installation of 14 solar panels was to the front and rear of the house. The cost was reasonable and the installers were helpful, friendly and polite. Despite experiencing some initial teething troubles, which took a couple of visits to rectify with a component in the inverter needing to be replaced, all is now working satisfactorily. I am happy with the installation and that it's saving me on my electricity bills. Infact, this summer I have paid only the standing charge and I'm being paid for exporting spare energy back to the grid. Everyone's Energy can be recommended if you're thinking of installing solar panels in the future and you're doing your bit towards carbon zero.

Overall I'm happy I went for the installation of solar panels and battery with Everyone's energy (in spring 2023). The company communicated enough and when I had any questions they were quick to reply to any of my calls/emails. The installation of solar panels occurred as planned. I can monitor energy production/usage with a mobile app. And once you settle the bills they guide you the right direction to register to get money back if you produce excess energy which goes to the grid. What a great company to work with! From start to finish they have been a breath of fresh air. Our journey with them started with building the right configuration at the right price for us. Never pushy and always on hand to answer questions. Once the contract was signed a schedule of works was drawn up which was executed 100% - everyone and everything turned up on time and the work carried out very efficiently. The contract was tendered and arranged through the Bucks CC Solar Together initiative. The price and quality of the overall install was excellent. Very quick to install the panels (under 3 hours) and the electricians were also quick and excellent in finding a cable route through to internal meters. All working well and generating power even on bright but not full sun days. Some minor issues during the install which required more intervention by me than desirable - but did not affect the final outcome: The site survey did not properly identify an appropriate location for the batteries (space restrictions). Phone calls and photos sent to Max in 'tech' sorted this out though and they were installed outside in a side passage with a canopy over. This was my biggest issue with the team. The heavy panels were delivered by only 1 chap in a van without a tail lift. Good job I was able to help otherwise he would have really struggled. The scaffolders were a bit of a law unto themselves and had to come back to finish the set up after my complaints. A couple of roof tiles were damaged which took a while and a few calls to get fixed. But no quibble at all about actually doing it. The first wifi dongle did not work and had to be replaced. 10 months down the line all systems are working fine and producing enough power for the whole house with plenty of to spare & sold back to the grid. The batteries make it all work smoothly

Great experience, friendly and professional, good explanation and advice and a successful installation completed and working well. And we’ve now enjoyed a year of “free” electricity with the return to the grid putting us in credit overall.

All went to plan, engineer arrived on date and time he was scheduled for, had problems fishing the cable down the waste vent shaft, but persevered where others would have given up. After that every thing else ran smoothly and the system was up and running in no time. Works a treat, maybe get a few more batteries in the near future, as the 7.5 kW that I have sometimes runs out overnight. Update: I have now increased my capacity to 15 kW, this means I can charge them up at night on the cheap rate & they last all day, this is a winter thing as the sun does the job during the summer.

It is now nearly 6 months since my installation of 8 solar panels and three batteries (15 kWh capacity). I have been able to transfer 95% of my electricity usage to overnight tariff (less than 7p per kWh) and have sold 2,140 kWh to the GRID, generating nearly £350 export fees. I believe that the cost of the installation was extremely competetive through the Surrey Council sponsored scheme. I would recommended this firm to anyone.

Every step from my initial enquiry through to handover of the system has been excellent. The team never failed to answer any of my questions. Brilliant company ! 18 panels and battery installed on the 4th April. All staff were really helpful. Luke was great and very patient in helping me finalise the specification and guide me through various technical issues. Finbar was excellent in arranging the installation. The installers worked a long day to instal the whole system. There was one small problem with the position of one panel discovered on the Friday afternoon. Remarkably the parts needed to fix it arrived Monday morning, and the last panel was in by Monday lunchtime. Cindy from the scaffolding company was excellent, with everything happening on the days she said it would. Also many thanks to Bradly who is the tech expert, answering any tech queries. The whole process ran really smoothly, as well as their quote being the most competitive of the three I got. I cannot recommend this company highly enough !!

We had our solar+battery system installed in December 2024; the process was well explained and was completed on or ahead of schedule. We're now in June and on average generating more electricity than we use. I would certainly recommend Everyone's Energy (and have done).

Amended Jan 2025: since my initial review the team at everyones energy escalated my concern and have been incredibly responsive. My system issue was finally resolved with the panels and batteries now having functioned seamlessly for several months and the support team have done several call backs to make sure all is well. Original review - 2 stars: Had a few issues during installation generally with damage caused and not reported by the contracted roofers but the engineer team were great and was still very happy to have it all installed. System worked great for a year but have had an ongoing on/off issue requiring multiple call outs which has highlighted that the servicing team is thinly stretched. I have had to call back countless times as the support team do not follow up, are poor at confirming engineer call out bookings, and the wait time for a call out is excessive. At present my system has been offline for 4+ months and I still have no clear answer as to when it’ll be repaired.

Contacted Everyone's Energy based on their reviews. Daniel Toye and Jordan were very helpful in specifying a solar and battery system to fit our roof and deal with shading from a chimney. Pricing was good and the company were clearly keen to go the extra mile to ensure we were happy with the system. There were some challenges in the installation due to the old, steep and undulating roof and we also changed the location of the inverter and type of batteries during the install based on advice from the electricians. Jordan was very active in managing the situation and we are very pleased with the final system. Handover very quick and efficient.

Great Service! From the word go, Everyone’s energy kept us informed of the stages of our installation. The staff were very helpful and helped us to plan and install the most suitable system for us. The work was done quickly and efficiently and the workforce at each stage were professional and friendly too. So far everything is working as expected, and I am looking forward to my next energy bill to see a marked reduction in grid use, (despite the overcast weather we have recently experienced, we still generated energy from the system!). Everyone's Energy and Our Solar System Ours was part of the Cambs C.C. initiative which has provided a great cost effective solar system in our home. Once the installation date had been set, all the relevant personnel arrived on site as per the schedule. The workmanship was excellent and the installers were very pleasant, answering all the questions requested of them and provided instruction and guidance on how to monitor and control the solar system we had installed. Still waiting for the batteries but supply and demand has caused the wait not Everyone's Energy. Update the batteries were installed a couple of months later and the system has been working well to date (Feb 24). Everyones Energy have always been on the end of a telephone when we had any queries and helped wherever they could.

Happy Customer Solar PV system fitted last week by Everyone's Energy through the Solar Together scheme. Painless experience from start to finish. Work completed over 3 half days. Fitters were knowledgeable, pleasant, efficient and tidy. Neat job. Electrician helped me install the monitoring app and explained how its works. The Head Office were very helpful when I phoned a couple of times with queries. Altogether a painless experience from start to finish. Just waiting for the sun to shine now ... The whole experience with Everyone’s Energy was very positive. From the time the delivery man identified the wrong number of rails were being left (this was rectified with no fuss the following day) to the actual installation and commissioning a few days later, everything was smooth and trouble free. I used Everyone through the Solar Together scheme in Suffolk. The engagement with them was first class throughout. Surveyor was excellent and gave great advice. The process from quote to contract was easy. They communicated very well with me as we moved to installation. Installers, electricians and scaffolders all worked seamlessly. I had a few other firms quote in the past and partly did this with Everyone due to the competitive price. However I was slightly nervous about how it would work. Should nt have worried. There were excessive delays in the planning process, and later problems emerged in connection with the roof tiles. I was impressed by Harry's responsiveness, ability to source answers to unusual questions, and get things done. He demonstrated high levels of intelligence and integrity and was always cheerful and positive. Jordan made a crucial decision at a critical moment which allowed the project to proceed to completion.
