New Gorbals Housing Association is nothing to worry about until everything goes wrong. A pipe burst in a flat 2 floors up from myself. It flooded numerous flats as well as saturating the carpets. Gorbals Housing association did no structural or health assessment. They have individually told everyone to claim the buildings policy of £750 per flat. Which they will then investigate and decide whether to fix anything or not. No guarantee. The Gorbals Housing Association lottery. The flats have never been built right. Numerous surveyors and thermal done on the building to assess for leaks and they are everywhere. Pricing everyone out. A petition is going about and then a court case can take place. The Factor is liable and New Gorbals through association

Beautiful building

Will use every opportunity they can to take your money whilst providing little to no service. Beware of the invoices sent months later with tons of line items attempting to obfuscate their deceit. It’s like a social experiment where they decided to get Neds to run things and forgot to switch it off.

I was your tenant about 7 years ago.As a foreigner I was treated really bad by Darren who was my housing officer at that time.He completely ignored my complaint about the neighbours dog barking and noises and he shouted at me which I still remember.I moved from there even from the city.shame on you.

This is my local housing. It's good if you have a problem they will try to sort it out for you. You have to phone up to get an appointment .

Five weeks to fix loose pipes in the close and they still haven't done it. Said they come back the next day and never did. Absolutely shambolic.

The service of this real estate agency is terrible. Every call is a delaying tactic, which makes people feel sick 🤢 No company has sent someone to solve the problem for several months

Great Housing Association

Indians are staying in the area

As a tenant of New Gorbals Housing Association and my daughter who recently was housed by New Gorbals too their standards are 2nd to none and the quality with which her house was finished was to the highest standard. My niece recently got a house with another housing association and the condition of the house, to say poor would be very understated. Thank you New Gorbals for having high standards for your tenants and completing work to a high standards, you have made the Gorbals a very sought after and lovely area to live in :)
