We had a whole house rewire, Rich and his team were amazing. They did the job to a high standard, took the time to explain every element to us. Great attention to detail and overall kind effective service. Would highly recomend.
Contacted via website for a straightforward job (wire in a new oven and convert a light). Received quick response the same day, and confirmed this could be done by end of the week. All sorted. Two days later asked what day they would be coming, no response. Three days later asked again what day they were coming- and now told they are fully booked for the next eleven working days. If you want a reliable electrician look elsewhere.
Rich and his team updated our consumer unit and replaced the light switches and fittings throughout the house last year. They did an outstanding job at a very reasonable price with a really quick turnaround. Absolute pleasure to work with.
Very impressed with Rich and Callum. Quick turn around time from initial enquiry to a visit for a quote. The quote was back within a couple of days at a good rate in comparison to others and a full detailed break down of costs. After dealing with Rich I was then introduced to Callum the following week who arrived on time and ready to crack on and that he did. A full days graft in a fiddly old house would drive me mad but he was professional and communicated well from start to finish. Rich and his team completed the electrical installation for my brand new commercial cafe in central Bristol. As well as offering a competitive price, Rich was also able to accomodate my short turnaround and changing timetable due to leasing difficulties, without grumbling and with complete understanding. Rich understood the striped back Industrial style i was looking for, and made some great suggestions regarding the lighting that we actioned. The works were completed on time and on budget, and I'm very satisfied with the end product. Furthermore, when additional works came up, again at short notice, I went directly to Rich who once again accommodated the urgent nature of the works with a final bill that came under the original quote. Brilliant service! Rich and his colleague installed some outside lights and fixed a faulty plug socket for me - communication was always prompt and he fitted me in as soon as he could. Called Richard to investigate socket fault in the kitchen. The fault was traced and part of the ring main was rewired. At every stage their was a clear explanation of what was being done. The rewiring was carried out with minimum damage to walls and flooring. Throughout Richard and colleague paid due attention to social distancing. Price very reasonable. Highly recommended.
It was worth choosing someone with great reviews - Rich provides an excellent service at a reasonable price, I'm really pleased with the result. He recently installed electric supplies in two detached garages at my home just outside Bristol. He came to quote very quickly and at a convenient time, then was able to start the work quickly and was done in a couple of days. He was very helpful and accommodating - always checking my preferences during the installation. Ultimately I have such peace of mind knowing the work was done and certified by a professional. R D Nelmes have been installing electrics into our extension that is currently under construction and have also installed a new fuse box for the whole house. The work has been carried out to a very high standard by R D Helmes with all of the light and power sockets and the fuse box all installed perfectly to the eye with further work to be done to install under floor electric heating. R D Nelmes have staged the installation to allow for painting and subsequent floor laying. We will certainly use this company in the future for our electrical needs.

He contacted me quickly, after I left a message and gave me a quote which I considered reasonable. He was punctual, personable, and very efficient in undertaking his checks. Explained anything I didn't understand and where necessary any action required. What topped it off is that most of the administration, involved in the process, is done digitally. Would certainly recommend to anyone requiring an experienced electrician.
Rich works regularly on my dear old house, garage and garden...repairing electrical wear and tear, up grading lighting and new electrical installations...for over the last 5 years and every job has been perfect. Excellent in all respects, came out with 2 days notice, identified the long-standing problem with the electrics in the boiler, which needed a plumber assist, but that was fixed the next day. Offered follow up advice immediately after I asked. Definitely highly recommended, will use again in future.

Rich carried out several jobs tidily, thoroughly and without fuss - including supplying and fitting a terrific in-line fan for the bathroom (much better kit than DIY stores sell) as well as running a new supply from consumer unit to airing cupboard . He also carried out a full inspection we had asked for with great diligence and attention. Very happy and impressed.

Rich is the most professional electrician we could have hoped to find to carry out a full electrical inspection on the property we have recently moved into. He arrived on time, and we felt he really respected our home while he was here working. The survey showed we needed a new consumer unit, which Rich quoted for and involved another days work. Again this was carried out on time in a really professional manner. Rich has emailed us over all the relevant certificates for the installation which he has registered to NICEIC.
