4.3

Daly (Group) Ltd has mostly good reviews, with customers saying staff are friendly, helpful and polite, communication is good, and the standard of work is high. Jobs are often described as done promptly or on time. One reviewer praised the plumber for fitting an exterior tap as specified. One reviewer said an electrician fixed a long-standing issue within hours, though the review does not give details of the fault. One customer said a new boiler was installed quickly and the area was left clean. Another reviewer was very negative, reporting months of unresolved heating pressure loss and conflicting advice from engineers. A separate reviewer described a bathroom installation that left a bath unusable and said the company would not rectify it or respond. An older review reported radiator and leak problems in a new house and a Gas Safe “At Risk” notice.

The plumber was informative and proficient, he carried out the fitment of an exterior tap to the specified requirements I had requested I would have no problem recommending Daly Group to carry out work.

After 6–7 months, this has been an appalling experience with Daly Group. A clear issue — ongoing pressure loss in a heating system — was identified early on. One technician confirmed visible leaks multiple times and escalated the issue, while others later denied it. I’ve had numerous engineers attend, all giving conflicting views, with no continuity or accountability. Replacement rubber seals took months to arrive, only to be the wrong parts. Worse, during the latest visit, the engineer damaged the existing seal, leaving the system in a worse state. We now have pressure loss in less than a day. This has dragged on for months, disrupting our home life — including over Christmas and New Year — and forcing us to miss work and spend hours chasing updates. It is unacceptable that: Basic parts like correct seals/washers are not available Engineers are unequipped and poorly informed There is no ownership or follow-through Months pass with no meaningful progress This feels like trial-and-error by amateurs, not professional work. Management appears disorganised, unreliable, and unable to bring this to a resolution. We’ve had to rearrange work, chase constantly, and manage the system ourselves — for something that should have been resolved months ago. Deeply shocking and disgraceful. I would strongly advise others to stay away.

The Daly Group have been providing the plumbing and electrical services to our new Tilia home. They have responded to snagging issues and all who have attended have been friendly, helpful and polite. Very pleased with the promptness. Good communication via email from the customer resolution/snagging team also.

I am an ancient retired RAF Group Captain who has resided near Fakenham for the past 35 years. Unfortunately, today, a friend damaged an electrical component within my large hedge cutter and as the cutter was urgently required, I set off for help from the nearest electrical supply outlet - DJB in Sculthorpe. On arrival I was warmly greeted by the owner, David Baines, and after listening to my woes, and although short of time, he agreed to examine the damaged hedge cutter. From the outset, it was obvious he was a most competent electrician and I was most grateful for his timely assistance and ability to rectify the identified fault. In sum, I was greatly impressed by David's overall demeanour and professional expertise. and I strongly recommend that he be chosen to rectify any electrical problems you may encounter in the future

Really poor quality installation of bathroom which resulted in a bath that could not be used. Now not willing to rectify and not responding to any requests I have sent. Cowboy outfit.
