I had a new valve and two air vents in my heating system replaced in the summer at a cost of £575. I asked for a quote for a new bathroom radiator as my elderly one had stopped working properly after being drained during the work. I got no response and gave in. When the heating came on again in the winter I found that the system was not working properly when both the heating and hot water were on together, which resembled the original fault. I wrote three emails and phoned before I got a response. I was told it was a new fault, not connected with their work. They said that they would send a quote for this new job and for the bathroom radiator. No quote was ever sent and there was no response to communication.

These guys (& gals) are truly fantastic. I had a fault on my underfloor heating system and Rob (initially) then Kevin (predominantly) gave me advice and a plan to sort the problem. Kevin advised it was probably an electrical issue, which they couldn't do but an electrician would solve. Looking at the pictures I sent him, Kevin also advised he could spot a problem with my electric valves and what to do about it. All this advice freely given with friendly manners. God bless 'em!

We have used Dempseys on several occasions they are professional, proficient, reliable and reasonably priced. They have gone out of their way to help us with issues we had with our heating system, we would certainly recommend them .

Can’t say I’ve ever used them but have now had 3 vans full out in front of me while riding my motorcycle I am clearly seen as they look right at me and they put their hands up. One occasion leaving the Running Horse in Fakenham drunk. This behaviour needs to be sorted out regardless if in a rush doesn’t mean to drive like morons.

We have had the pleasure of having Brandon and Kieron from Dempsey heating over the past 2 days installing a new unvented hot water tank. 2 extremely quiet, polite, tidy and knowledgeable tradesmen who went about their business with no fuss or trouble. The tank was installed without issue and its operation fully explained. We look forward to Dempsey Heating installing our new bathroom in the near future. I can fully recommend the company and its staff.

Phoned Dempsey at 2.08 p.m. as lavatory not flushing and malfunctioning part replaced by 4.30 p.m. Not as a result of any faulty workmanship but due to age and nature of property, Dempsey's reliable and competent staff are such frequent visitors and so personable that they're like family.

Based upon their good reputation, I asked Dempsey Heating to quote to install an Air Source Heat Pump (ASHP) to replace the very old oil fired boiler. Ryan came out and explained in great detail the workings of the ASHP and was very honest about what to expect from the performance and provided a cost estimate. The next step was to have a heat loss survey to ascertain that the property would benefit from this system and any upgrade that might be needed, and to provide a firm quotation This survey was thoroughly carried our by Michaela. Satisfied with the quotation and very confident with the information provided, I gave Dempsey the go ahead. The work was carried out with great efficiency and tidiness by James and his team. James is very knowledgeable about the science behind the ASHP and the control settings to maximise the performance. I highly recommend Dempsey Heating.

We commissioned Dempsey's to install 2 new bathrooms and a downstairs cloakroom. We had very specific ideas and Chris designed exactly what we wanted, listened to what we said and made any changes without hesitation. The stars of show were definitely Lee and Jamie. Superb quality and attention to detail, personable, and the tidiest tradesman we have ever encountered. Went above and beyond. Was an absolute pleasure to have in the house. The finished result is exactly what we imagined and we would 100% recommend. Delighted!

Dempsey service our gas appliances regularly. They come on time and are efficient. However, paying bills is a hassle. The accounts line doesn’t answer, though they do call back if you leave a message, and they don’t take credit cards which is surprising in 2023.

Had a problem with a toilet inlet valve that broke after a few days of installation leaving me with a mid night overflow problem. Spoke to the company and they saw the bill for a emergency plumber mid night costs. They were brilliant 👍👍 And as I wanted an outside tap fitted They negotiated kindly and fitted it as compensation for the faulty toilet valve. Highly recommended them. Cannot fault the work and service provided by this company. Our Boiler broke down Thurs and we had a new one fitted by Saturday. They kept me update throughout the process and the men that carried out the work were polite and very professional. Would 100% reccomend this fantastic local company.

Excellent service and quick to respond

I had a leak in a pipe, vet puddle was rising from the floor. A young man from Dempsey heating come and within 5 minutes told me that they can't do the job and I need a detecting agent. They charge 60£ for it. Is anybody else earning 60£ in 5 minutes with no job performing?

Dempsey Heating fitted a water heater in our holiday home. They were extremely competitive on price, and the work was excellent, so clean and tidy and they provided excellent advice on our options re placement of the heater. A few months later we had a problem with the timer, we called Dempsey and its all sorted within 24 hours. Whole process was so easy. Would highly recommend.

Dempsey Heating installed new bathroom taps for us. They were helpful in assisting with the choice and fixed the time.to suit us. The plumber Louis came up with a solution which did not involve the removal of tiles. He arrived on time and was most helpful. We hit an unexpected and unrelated electrical problem and he made every effort to find a solution and all is back and working. Our thanks - and thoroughly recommended.

Re oil fired system boiler : Some years ago the owner/director himself came and replaced a faulty condensate pump for my 5 year old boiler , after two more years of their annual servicing I had feedback from Dempsey’s service engineers that I ought to have a new boiler, indeed it was looking more and more rusty . I investigated and found the condensate exit pipe had not been refitted allowing the caustic condensate to spray everywhere. FACT, the thick,clear,tough plastic exit pipe had been cut and left off, no visible rounding or expansion which would be discernible if refitting had been attempted. Draw your own conclusions. Re recently : I had dispensed with Dempsey Heating’s services due to the above. Recently I was absent and my caretaker dealt with finding a plumber to look at a leaking basin tap. Dempsey Heating was used , their plumber was given the door key code , my Gardner told me the plumber came for only a short while and upon leaving told him the tap needed a new washer but was on the way out . When I visited the holiday barn it having been unused for many weeks I discovered the same tap running hot water, I duly replaced it with a new tap. I took the old one to bits and found the seat of the old tap had been punched 12 times around it’s perimeter and across the seat , I Imagine with a hammer and screwdriver , rendering it leaking and useless. I received and and paid the invoice of £90.60 for the tap washer replacement . I DO NOT KNOW who did this damage , but why did Dempsey not just replace the tap or tell me it was damaged but did manage to tell the Gardner in passing that “ the tap was on the way out”? I had informed Dempsey’s director about the first issue and why I was not using them. NOW I FEEL it is my duty to state the above and am pleased it is possible to do so.

I have (and most certainly will again) used Dempsey Heating both commercially and domestically on several occasions. They could not be more responsive and helpful. Don’t hesitate to call them Highly recommended.

On the Friday before Christmas I arrived to prepare my holiday cottage for our guests due to arrive that day to find that the boiler, to my horror, had packed up. I phoned Dempseys Plumbing and Heating to be informed a plumber would be with me in 5 minutes, as luck would have it, one was about to pass my property. 2 hours later they had diagnosed the fault, collected a part, fitted it and tested all was good! Clearly Santa does exist and works at Dempseys.
