I first wrote this review for Brighter Electrical ten years ago. Delighted to say that ten years later, Matthew is still our "go-to" electrician. Since writing the review below, Brighter Electrical moved to Southampton, and as it happens we also moved to Warsash. Since moving, Matt has completed a number of electrical jobs for us including checking the consumer unit and existing power sockets (and fixing a couple that were not working correctly), fitting new power sockets, installing new outdoor Ring Cameras and a new ethernet cable to enable the placement of a WiFi Mesh hub in a more central location in the house. Matthew always gives straightforward advice, and pricing remains very competitive. Highly recommended. Original review from 10 years ago! I've known Matt Killick of Brighter Electrical for many years now. He had done several smaller jobs in the past. So when it came to rewiring our house in Fulham, as part of a bigger refurbishment, he was the natural choice. Matt provided some very useful advice and help refine the proposed lighting plan and helped find some great LED downlighters (we put in over 80 in the house). The work was done completely professionally coordinately closely with the main contractor who we engaged for refurbishment and kitchen supplier. Costs came in completely on budget. Very happy with his work and very happy to recommend.
Matthew was very helpful, he attended site the same day and kept me updated with information and photos throughout his visit. Great work. I will happily using him again in the future.
Excellent service - we used Brighter Electrical to replace a bathroom ceiling fan and put up a new ceiling lamp. Great attention to detail, punctual, and easy to work with. Would happily recommend for any scale of electrical work required!

I could not recommend Brighter Electrical Ltd more highly. From the initial assessment of the issue, to raising the quote, to adjusting the quote to my specific needs, to the installation itself Matthew and his team were professional, polite and efficient. Matthew explained what he was doing and why, answered any questions I had, and even resolved an additional issue that I forgot to mention when requesting the quote. I know from experience how hard it can be to find reliable tradesman so its great to know I now have a great electrician to call on.

This is the third time we have used Matthew now and extremely pleased with his work. He’s professional, tidy and explains everything he is doing. Honest with recommendations of what is actually “needed” rather than just nice to have so you can choose; which is much appreciated. Oh and also completely reliable and responsive, which is sometimes hard to find in this trade! We won’t hesitate to use Matthew again.

Once you find a tradesperson you can trust, never let them go! I've been using Brighter Electrical for the last few years and they are always excellent. Recently they carried out a full socket rewire of our home, and they were quick, tidy and communicated excellently throughout. Very professional and very helpful.

Mathew at Brighter Electrical is the most professional tradesperson I have ever met. Not only is he an expert electrician but when he comes to your home there is the upmost respect for your home and space. It is almost like he wearing a suit under his uniform. I only use Brighter Electrical when I need an electrician.
Got Matt in to install a number of new sockets and to move others as well as installing a new fuse box. He has done a fantastic job. High quality work, trustworthy, and a nice person. Matt and his team even washed up the cups they had used to make tea when we left them in the house. Really great customer service, highly recommend him to anyone needing work done.

These guys were recommended to me by a friend as I had been looking for a while for a good electrician. The job I needed was to have some external power sockets installed at the end of my garden. There was an inspection before the work was carried out, a quote and date for the work to be done all within a short space of time. On the installation date, things begun at the time I was told, they were clean and polite and the work didn't take much time at all. Truely professional job with the necessary certificate at the end. Happily use again and recommend to anyone looking for a good, reliable electrician.
Efficient, flexible, knowledgeable and friendly. Matthew at Brighter Electrical did a few jobs, both large and relatively small, for me at a property that I was preparing to rent out. He completed to them to a high standard, gave advice when it was needed and worked around my schedule to fit them in. I would highly recommend him.
