I have used David a number of times to carry out electrical work and on this occasion, David changed a fuse board along with adding a bathroom fan, amongst other smaller jobs. The work was carried out on time and to the cost set out before the work took place. Due to be at work, David was left alone to carried these tasks out and the property was left save and secure on my return.

David was absolutely brilliant doing 2 EICR check potential properties and replacing the board in one. He was able to arrange a date through the agent really quickly and was communicative throughout. Kindly took me through the key points after hed completed the check and sent me through the detailed report with quotes for rectifying the issues. After I bought the property he came round to change the board, found a fault on the lights with the new board and chased it down to fix it for me. Highly recommend him, he's a very skilled electrician and lovely to deal with.

I recommend David Ali unequivocally as a reliable and efficient electrician. I have employed David on three separate occasions and on every occasion he has been helpful, effective and pleasant to deal with. The first two occasions I used David were at my previous home about 4 years ago and a couple of weeks ago I employed him to work at my new home, having been impressed with the quality of his previous work. As always, David gave me options to achieve what was required, which was useful in giving me better ideas that I subsequently agreed. But I notice that David has always been content to do the work I want done even on the rare occasions that he may have suggested an alternative that I didn’t progress. David’s work is of a high quality and he has recently demonstrated impressive honesty, for which I am grateful. David gave me an estimate for the recent work he carried out and when it was all completed he reduced the final invoice because it had not taken the full two days he had anticipated. I needed help with my extractor fan and found ABH Electrical online. Contacted David and he was first class, responded promptly, managed to come take a survey of the problem a couple of hours after I first contacted him and explained in detail what the problem was and we arranged an appointment. David had some time freed up a day before my appointment and swung by to fix my fan and also fixed an issue with the pull cable connected to the lights/fan. Price was good, he explained what he did, showed me how to amend the timer on the fan and cleaned up after his work was done. Will definitely use his services again and highly recommend him 👍

We have been fully refurbishing our chalet bungalow and Dave has carried out all of our electrical works, including the installation of a new ring main, a new fuse box and numerous lights and power points. He is both very efficient and extremely knowledgeable. Older buildings often throw up challenges and a few 'surprises' and each time, Dave had a solution to offer that resolved the situation. And even when there wasn't an actual 'problem' Dave suggested ways in which the installation could be improved. For example, running spotlights in our kitchen/dinning/living space on two separate switches (both dimmers), so we could control the lighting to suit our needs. It works really well! Honestly, we can't recommend ABH Electrical highly enough.

Caused my business serious problems. After extensive planning we agreed on a date to do the work. A week before the job, he cancelled with an excuse that didn’t make any sense, didn’t even offer a replacement date or a reasonable work around. I suspect he cancelled for a higher paying job.
