In2gr8ted Solutions installed a ballasted solar PV system on the flat roofs of my dormer property in May 2022. I chose the company after reviewing customer feedback and noting their stated affiliations with industry bodies including MCS and HIES. The installation appeared to proceed without any immediate issues. However, in early 2025 we observed visible deflection in the roof areas beneath the solar panels. As a result, we commissioned an independent structural survey in March 2025. According to the structural survey report, the roofs were assessed as unsuitable for a ballasted solar PV installation. The report recommended removal of the system and indicated that significant remedial works to both roofs may be required. An initial estimate for these works is approximately £50,000, excluding additional associated costs such as alternative accommodation, storage and redecoration. On 21 March 2025 I submitted a formal complaint to In2gr8ted Solutions and also notified relevant industry bodies, including MCS, HIES, NAPIT and NICEIC. Following its investigation, NAPIT informed me that the installation did not meet relevant MCS standards and recommended that the solar PV system be removed. Copies of relevant correspondence are retained. In2gr8ted Solutions removed the solar panels on 8 September 2025. The company does not currently accept responsibility for the remedial costs identified in the structural report and has indicated that the matter would need to be resolved through legal proceedings. The question of liability therefore remains in dispute. As court proceedings are not currently an option for me due to the potential costs involved, the matter has been referred to the appropriate dispute resolution ombudsman and is ongoing. Based on the structural survey findings and the outcomes of the complaints process to date, it is my personal view that if the relevant MCS standards had been followed at the time of installation, the system would probably not have been installed in this form and the subsequent issues with the roofs might have been avoided. I hope the matter can be resolved and will update this review if further developments occur. UPDATE 5th June 2026 The dispute resolution ombudsman have now given their decision on my case and requested In2gr8ted Solutions provide a full refund of the installed PV system (less 15% of the cost for the usage I did have). Plus compensation of £10k (the maximum they can award) due their negligence for not following MCS standards and the associated damages to my property Although In2gr8ted solutions are aware of their liabilities and responsibilities they refuse to have a phone call to discuss collection of the already removed panels and the remaining parts of the PV system, or discuss payment of the refund and compensation totalling £19,327.16, and would rather handle this via email, which continues to show their level of customer service when difficult situations arise. I will update as the situation progresses This review reflects my personal experience as a customer and is based on documents in my possession including a structural survey report, formal complaint correspondence, communications with relevant industry bodies and a binding decision from the dispute resolution ombudsman. It is written in good faith and is intended to provide a fair and accurate account of events as I understand them. I am willing to correct this review if any factual inaccuracies are identified.
We had In2gr8ted Solutions install a Sigenergy SigenStor battery system with a full three-phase supply upgrade at our property. From the initial quote right through to installation, the team were responsive, professional and easy to deal with. They turned up exactly when they said they would, worked in an organised and tidy manner throughout, and left the site clean on completion. The system was handed over clearly and thoroughly — we left knowing exactly how everything worked. The system itself is running perfectly. We would not hesitate to recommend In2gr8ted Solutions to anyone considering battery storage or renewable energy installation. We will certainly be using them again when we have solar installed later this year.
An excellent job done by experienced engineers. This was a follow up to solar energy installation to add nets to prevent birds nesting under the panels
Great service. From start to finish, a professional, detailed and thoughtful approach to solar installation. Thank you for allowing us to benefit from the (sporadic) Lancashire sunshine!
They fitted our solar panels last year on behalf of givenergy. Couldn't fault either of them until last year when our ev charger went offline. Dispite many, many phone calls to givenergy we couldn't do anything. Come 2026 and givenergy installed an ai bot to cut everyone off. We were at our wits end so we're trying everything we could think of and went back to in2gr8ted solutions. They bent over backwards to help and sent us photos of the original installation which (along with YouTube) and , amazingly, it's all working now. Thank you so much couldn't have done anything without your help.
From start to finish my experience with In2gr8ted Solutions has been absolutely spot on. Nick gave me every bit of information I needed, helped me completely understand what I’d be purchasing alongside the numerous benefits that come along with it. Nick was fantastic to work with, he clearly knows what he’s talking about, and explained in layman’s to me, which was extremely helpful. The team were really patient with me, no harassment, complete space to make up my mind, but available if I had any queries. Upon receiving my quote, I was over the moon at the price, it was extremely competitive and I couldn’t believe I’d found such a good deal! By the time it came to receiving my contract, Nick had explained everything so well that I completely understood everything in there which was great. From initiation to complete install it has taken less than 2 months (including the Christmas break)! The guys who came to do the install were all so courteous when coming into my property. Dan, Alex, and Liam were all so polite and personable. They all did a smashing job, answered any questions that I asked with no judgement (I ask silly questions). The guys were also extremely mindful of my cats which was extremely important to me! Julie handled my invoice, which I had a query about, she answered me so promptly and resolved the query in a matter of minutes. I haven’t got a bad thing to say, honestly, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Looking forward to getting all my paperwork and making some money from my energy! Thank you all so much! Toni x
Very helpful and knowledgeable sales representative. Nick discussed my options at length in order to get the best possible performance within the limitations of the roof. Having decided to go with in2gr8ted, I was expecting to have to wait for four to eight weeks, but the installation was carried only out a week after signing up. The work was controlled and co - ordinated very well. The job was completed in a day with no major problems and the electrician made a nice neat job of the wiring. I would recommend this company as a an efficient reliable over installer.
My thanks to Nick for his excellent consultation at the beginning of our journey to purchase our Solar system and to the installation team who were clean and tidy and did a great job.
Nick the salesman was very helpful, accessible and friendly The surveyor was friendly however, it turned out that the area he identified to house the battery and inverter was not appropriate and the installers could not use it. The scaffolders arrived 2 days late meaning I wasted 2 days waiting around The installers were friendly and helpful and explained what they were doing They worked hard and cleared up the site afterwards. I didn’t really understand the way the app worked but am getting used to it now. I would recommend this company to friends and family
I couldn’t be happier with my experience with In2gr8ted Solutions. From start to finish, the whole process was handled with professionalism, clear communication, and genuine care for the customer. It’s worth noting they’re a member of the HIES scheme — something not many companies can say — which gave me extra peace of mind and made my decision to go with In2gr8ted Solutions much easier. Client manager, Nick W, was very knowledgable and fantastic at keeping me informed every step of the way, and the installers, Scott and Paul, were brilliant — friendly, skilled, and clearly took pride in their work. I had 18 Aiko solar panels installed, each paired with an Enphase microinverter, plus 4 Enphase 5P batteries. The system has been set up perfectly, and I’m delighted with both the performance and the neatness of the installation. The after-sales service has been exceptional — any questions I’ve had have been answered promptly and thoroughly. Communication throughout has been excellent, and I’ve always felt supported before, during, and after the installation. If you’re looking for a solar installation company you can truly trust, I can wholeheartedly recommend In2gr8ted Solutions. They’ve exceeded my expectations in every way.
I contracted this company for my solar panels. After some negotiations with Nick W, I was eventually persuaded to go for 18 panels with a Tesla13Kw battery. My initial trepidations have been somewhat reduced after the system was very efficiently installed by two tireless workers Paul & Scott. They made sure that all the cables etc were aesthetically fixed. The system seems adequate for my energy requirement at present( of course the weather has been quite pleasant so far. I am able to go off the grid. The admin team has been quite efficient and polite.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Exceptional Service and a Brilliant Investment! From the initial consultation through to post-installation support, our experience with Nick Walton at In2gr8ted Solutions was nothing short of outstanding. Nick was incredibly patient, taking the time to walk us through all the technical aspects of the solar panel and battery system in a way that was clear and easy to understand—no jargon, just facts. What really set him apart was his deep technical knowledge and willingness to answer every question thoroughly. We never felt rushed or pressured—just genuinely supported in making the right choice for our home. We opted for a 7kW solar array coupled with a 10kWh battery, and the results have exceeded our expectations. The installation was handled with great care and professionalism—courteous, responsible, and efficient. There was no damage to the roof, no follow-up issues, and everything worked perfectly right from the start. Even better, the panels were fitted sympathetically to our home’s appearance and are barely noticeable, which was a big plus for us. Since going live, our electricity bills have dropped by around 60%! By smartly leveraging off-peak electricity to charge the battery overnight and using stored solar energy during the day, we’ve significantly reduced our reliance on grid power. Coupled with solar power export we have leveraged big savings. Based on current performance, the system is on track to pay for itself in just seven years. And with a projected lifespan of 25 years, we’re looking forward to nearly two decades of pure financial return. With energy prices continuing to rise, this has proven to be a far wiser and more stable long-term investment than stocks or shares. We couldn’t be happier with both the product and the service. If you’re considering a solar solution, we wholeheartedly recommend getting in touch with Nick Walton at In2gr8ted Solutions—you’ll be in exceptionally capable and trustworthy hands. The solar industry is awash with people wanting your custom but Nick and In2gr8ted Solutions know their products very well and can provide a quality product and service that is very competitive .
We had five quotes from various solar providers. In a sea of cowboys I was looking for two things over just cost: competence and integrity. Only one provider stood out - In2gr8ted Solutions. Before taking the plunge, I had numerous conversations with their Client Manager, Nick Walton. We covered panel options, panel efficiency, shading, battery performance, seasonal variation, inverter efficiency and quality, flat vs sloped roof fittings and more, and Nick answered with what was obviously extensive knowledge and honesty. The surveyor was professional and explained how everything would work with our non-trivial setup (covering three roofs). The fitters were exceptional - one fitted all three roofs with no issue and the other fitted all the electrics and battery system with aplomb, as well as setting up and explaining the GivEnergy and Enphase applications. Their office was also very efficient in getting all the DNO red tape sorted, so that when we went to our electricity supplier to start exporting electricity, all the ground work had already been done. We have been using our solar panels and battery for a few weeks now, and it has not disappointed. The Enphase system Nick recommended is not the cheapest, but is proving its worth, especially in eeking out power on gloomier days. And the large 9.5kWh battery has allowed us to power all non-solar times with overnight off-peak energy - it will come into its own as we head into the winter. Thank you Nick, Paul and the team at In2gr8ted Solutions.
We had an excellent experience with this solar company, thanks to the salesman, Nick Walton. He was knowledgeable, professional, and made the entire process easy to understand. We purchased our solar system three years ago, and it has been performing flawlessly ever since—saving us money on energy bills and reducing our carbon footprint. We would definitely recommend this company to anyone considering solar. Great service, quality products, and a smooth installation process.
In2gr8ted Solutions was one of three firms we obtained quotes from for the installation of an N-Phase solar battery. They weren’t the cheapest quote but we’d had friends receive bad service from other, cheaper firms, who didn’t have the 20 year proven track record that this one does. A trouble free installation and consistent after-sales service was important to us. So we took the plunge and , let me tell you, we weren’t disappointed. The two lads, Harry and Brendon, who installed the battery were on time, friendly and clearly knowledgeable about what they were doing. We negotiated the siting of the battery quickly and they were flexible when working round any obstacles (we needed the battery putting in a cubby hole in my study). Once complete, Brendon explained how the N-phase app worked and demonstrated it working, mentioning that there would be some aspects of the app’s performance that would take a few days to settle down. After five days since installation we can confidently say that everything is working perfectly and it’s kinda exciting to see how the battery is drawing power from the solar panels, connecting with the grid and discharging, all in real-time. Special mention also goes to Mark, the salesman, who negotiated a fair price, communicated promptly by text, phone and email and didn’t come across as ‘pushy’ - which so many sales people sometimes do. All in all, a top rate service and fully recommended.
Excellent service ; professional and detailed discussion of the system beforehand and an efficient installation of high quality batteries and solar panels. I‘m very happy with their service.
Excellent installation only complaint clearing rubbish after them .Said scaffolding crew usually take it away ¿?? Dave Spencer
Fine company. I had Sunpower panels + GivEnergy battery installed from them. Supply chain issues caused significant delays though and as a result my Alpha battery got swapped for GivEnergy system. The surveyor indicated that battery and invertor will be installed in the roof however when the installers came they said they will not do as this was not company policy. I did not force them either as I waited long enough for the system plus the battery was very heavy and I did not want that above in the loft. If I had modular battery like Alpha they could have been installed in the loft. Afterwards I had an EV charger installed as well. I am happy with their installation in general, however their communication should be improved. Will I use them again? Yes I will.
I had second thoughts about bird proofing the new 20 solar panels and the team came back and fixed it all for a reasonable sum while the scaffolding was still up. Thanks Paul and Scott great job.
Hi everyone at In2gr8ted Solutions. A big Thankyou to you all for supplying and fitting our additional batteries to our existing system. Thankyou for organising for Foxx to call and sort out the faulty issue, which in the end turned out to be a faulty lead connection. Thanks for organising your team of fitters to call today and fixed the brackets to the batteries , making them nice and secure so the air flow can circulate freely around the units. All in all we now have a full system that will hopefully give us many years of good results. We are absolutely delighted that you were able to help us with the supply of our Solar Panel and battery storage system. We did have a few issues to sort through, which are now fully resolved And we are extremely pleased with everything. A big Thankyou to everyone involved at in2gr8ted solutions. Kind Regards Andrew and Karen Cole.
The company did a good job of installing and commissioning our solar panels and batteries however their subsequent service was poor. The panels slipped and whilst they did return once to try (and failed) to resolve the issue they then just ignored our requests for help. This was an expensive installation and I don’t think it should be a lot to ask for the panels to sit correctly on our roof. As an additional comment since posting this review we received a welcome phone call offering to come out and resolve the issue, explaining that a new office and installation team are in place. As we’ve taken the initiative ourselves and fixed the slippage we declined the offer.
Terrible company. As we were having a replacement roof needed work to be done to timescale. We were promised installation within 12 weeks and stating all items needed to install were available. Deposit paid and survey completed. Was informed by surveyor that design of installation would be delivered to me the following day (never arrived) and installation would be within a couple of weeks. 21 weeks later, and my roofer and I unable to get an answer either by phone or email we had to consider that they had broken the contract. Unable to get deposit back as they have done a survey. If you decide to use this company, which I advise against, do not agree to the survey before they give you a definite installation date. If you look at other reviews I am not the only person that they have got money from without providing any products or goods for. The company want to share logs and emails. I can do the same and I have witnesses to the conversation with the surveyor and phone calls.
Great service from start to finish. Installation was completed smoothly, and the installation team was quick and tidy. The panels blend in well on the roof. Already we are seeing huge benefits from the solar panels. Our energy costs have more than halved and on sunny days the system is generating all our electricity requirements and we are 0% reliant on the grid. I would highly recommend using In2gr8ted solutions if you want a cost effective professional service. AAA+++ 😀
Just had my solar panels installed, which was efficiently and professionally done, i would not hesitate in recommending this company to anyone
A very good company to deal with ,no hard sell just all the information you need to make up your mind. I had the install of my solar system done in one day ,everything was shown to me and explained by the two install engineers. I was even shown how to set up the App. From the first email for a quote to the install has been a very easy trouble free experience . Would and have recommended In2gr8ted Solutions well done all and thank you.
Great experience from start to finish. From multiple quotes from Mark, great installation by Scott and Paul through to issuing of our info pack by Julie. Would definitely recommend if you're thinking of going solar.
After waiting 8 months the solar panels and equipment were delivered and installed onto our garage (40m from the house) roof area over a 2 day period. As there was a ’comms’ issue between the inverter in the garage and the house consumer unit preventing the battery from operating properly, they said they needed to obtain a replacement part. This was done the following week and everything now works perfectly. Whilst we had to wait a very long time, our experience of In2gr8ted Solution installation is a positive one and we have no complaints at all. In fact we are already considering asking them to fit a second 5.2kw battery.
Very poor company. Salesman did a great job and the start with getting quote out fast. Signed contract and DNO application was not applies for until weeks later. Unnecessary delay, Little or no contact regarding timescales. system works well thought
As other have said there are long leads times due to scarcity of solar panels and battery systems. However I found the company to be very helpful and professional, and even though I had some issues with the install due to my setup, these were resolved quickly and professionally within a week. Everythings been working great since and I would recommend In2Gr8ted solutions.
My order is now complete just short of a year after placing it, the panels got installed in July 22 and the battery in March 23. If i'm being honest I'm over the moon with the service i've had. I ordered right at the start of people wanting to 'protect' themselves against the energy price hikes along with the goverment removing the VAT from installs and just when the global supply chain was at it's worst and costs increasing. I paid for the panels after install (July 22) and to be fair come September the panels wouldn't have kept the house running and put anything in the battery so I sat back with the money for the battery in my account. I emailed a couple of times to see what was going on and I got replies, no dramas. Then at the end of Feb I got a call asking if they could arrange a date to install the battery and not once have I been asked to pay more than they qouted for in March 22. All the install guys have been very polite and respectful, told me what i've needed to know. I would and have recommended to friends and family. Thanks very much.
In2gr8ted Solutions were great. Professional and knowledgeable unlike some others I initially approached. Gave me time and info. To weigh up what was needed. Good products and competitive price. Installers were good, on time, polite and made sure everything was running. Installed over a year ago and all fine. Electric bills about £16 A month now.
Installed over 2 days, has issue with battery due to incorrect meter being installed, this was resolved 1 month later. Still no G98 application certificate and still waiting for my extended warranty to be applied on GivEnergy portal, GivEnergy say it hasn’t been purchased. Avoid at all costs, check out his Facebook page for further reviews like this. Too many customers, not enough staff and just cant be arsed with paperwork or customer service once he’s had his cash. 😡 In response to your reply in January 2023: I am glad to hear you have invested in additional staff to complete you installations. I would be greatfull if you could prioritise completing my installation by registering my GivEnergy extended warranty that I purchased from you. I am also still yet to hear about my G98 application so unable to receive payment from my energy provider for export.
Same story as all the other 1-star reviews. Signed contract in May 2022, panels and inverter finally installed in November, but no sign of a battery. Since May, they have not replied to a single email or answered the phone once. Being busy is one thing, but totally ignoring your customers is inexcusable. Do not use this company! I am now looking elsewhere to finish off the installation.
I struggle to equate my experience with some of the dire and emotive reviews. Sure, I had to wait 6 months but there are well known supply and demand issues for solar so you have to be patient. Eventually I got to the front of the queue and from there everything was done promptly and efficiently and I have no complaints at all. I am perfectly content and now I have the system I asked for, it works fine, is unobtrusive, and the experience was fully satisfactory..
Paid a deposit to get batteries installed at the beginning of the year. We have had nothing but excuses and lies. We were told we would be first in the queue when the batteries arrived. That didn’t happen. My son bought from them and we were promised a commission that didn’t happen. Once they get your money they don’t answer calls or emails. The system we had went on fire weeks after they fitted it. Cowboys. DO NOT GET INVOLVED. Now I’m told they won’t have anything to do with me be at I posted the truth. I’m still waiting on my deposit being returned and I am taking them to court
I'm not sure if they are cowboys or just clowns. Either way they are best avoided. I've had a month of multiple missed installation dates, I waited in for them several times only for them to not turn up and not even acknowledge this. When they did eventually come we found that the system wouldn't fit on my roof as designed. I've requested my deposit back and scaffolding to be removed - still waiting on that. The installation staff who came were good - friendly, honest and seemed to know what they are doing. The sales and management are just incompetent. Sold me something that wouldn't work then won't respond to calls or emails once they had my order. Avoid at all costs.
In2gr8ted Solutions supplied and installed twelve panels, inverter, and battery. Installation was carried out sooner than expected and without fuss, the installation team were friendly as was Mark, my first point of contact who quoted the system for me and Paul, the owner. There was a small issue discovered after installation, this was resolved very quickly.
I’ll try to keep it short and sweet, unlike the installation process. Unresponsive and slow (220 days from start to finish). Had to get NAPIT involved to get everything resolved. Read other reviews and you’ll find that my experience isn’t unique. Signed contract (April) then 44 days until panels & inverter delivered. Only communication was me pushing the salesperson for updates. 6 days later - installation day and the panels had to be rearranged as it was mismeasured. Inverter needed a meter which wasn’t purchased so the system didn’t work. The owner immediately emailed for payment. I refused. 50 days later (July) and two missed delivery dates, the ‘special’ meter arrived with another customer's items (no idea why). At some point, they locked their facebook comments due to other customers' negative feedback and lost their Which? Trusted Trader accreditation. Check their facebook for a post where they claim they have it, then try and search for them on Which?. 8 days later, meter installed and the system turned on. Owner quickly emailed wanting payment again. Contract states that payment is after installation and certification, so I refused. No handover documents supplied and with no certification I couldn’t set up SEG. Owner sends one certificate saying ‘We don’t ever issue certificates without balance being paid’ and I foolishly pay. Company goes silent even after my repeated emails and a recorded delivery letter. This went on for 80 days. Finally (November) I got NAPIT involved and the owner quickly replied to the NAPIT rep that they’re surprised so many customers are contacting NAPIT instead of the company directly - embarrassing as the rep knew the whole story.
Installed Givenergy battery and inverter to exisiting PV array, after initial supply and fix issues, all good and system working as expected, Have ordered another battery to supplement the initial install to be as self sufficient as possible
Avoid this company at all costs - they are the cowboy builders of the solar installer industry and, in my opinion, outright profiteers and scammers. Paul Caffrey (company owner) and his colleagues have single-handedly caused us the worst customer experience we have ever had with any company. TLDR: They ignore emails, phone or text. Promises made during sales pitches are false and the company reneged on my contract after a 7 month waiting period, raising the price and offering inferior equipment. See below for full detail and their likely response. We signed our contract for a c.8kW Sunpower installation in March after being made a sales pitch by Steve Harris. At the time, Steve branded himself as an "independent assessor" rather than a salesman, which later proved to be false, as had many of the claims he made to us. We were then told to pay a £2000 deposit for parts for our installation. Ever since signing the contract, there was no contact whatsoever with the company. Emails, texts and phone calls would go unanswered and no installation date or confirmation of grid permission for installation was provided until 4 months later (we were initially told the installation would be complete in 4 weeks). When a company holds £2000 of your deposit, this is extremely unnerving. In August, an installation date was scheduled for September once the company claimed to have received a batch of Sunpower panels as a shipment from the factory. I was told there would be enough to also include me as a customer from this batch. Without explanation, the installation date was pushed back last minute by a week. On the 2nd installation date, the company did a no-show (making me miss a day at work) and I was only offered a half-hearted apology after I called to ask what was going on. During that phone call, I was told that they could no longer promise me when they would carry out the installation. Later that month, I called to get an update. I was told by another salesman (Mark Wollaston - Steve Harris had quit) that the company had supply issues and was given an offer which was £2661 higher for a lower capacity system (6kW) with inverters rather than microinverters and using outdated panels. During this phone call, I was shouted at while trying to politely express my disappointment and the situation from my perspective. As advised by the ombudsman (HIES scheme), I wrote an official complaint which was ignored just like all my other emails. Paul Caffrey did not even acknowledge receipt of this complaint and confirmed that raising prices was a business decision to raise their profit margins - after holding a customer's deposit hostage for 7 months and offering no installation date, he placed me in a situation of "take it or wait another half a year because the waiting times for different providers have also increased". This is nothing more than a profiteering scam. He later only returned £100 of my £2000 deposit. When politely asked to fix this asap because the situation was unnerving, he replied abruptly "Friday we do payments" and ignored all my further messages. Eventually on the Friday I received the remaining money but was also mocked by Paul on the phone for complaining that his company provided me with awful service. This is not the way to treat customers. With all this, if In2gr8ted do reply to this review, I would expect that it will revolve around supply bottlenecks which they blamed as the issue to me. Although I acknowledge that the industry is facing unprecedented demand and supply bottlenecks, I was told by Steve Harris that signing the contract early would mean that we lock in a price and installation date. This did not happen and any professional standard of honouring signed deals or even responding to distressed customers was thrown out of the window entirely. To anyone else in a similar situation, I am yet to see how it plays out for me but the company is signed up to the HIES scheme which provides a free ombudsman service - a decision that is binding on the company. I really recommend that you check it out.
Absolutely unprofessional and unethical. almost 10 weeks of waiting and despite repeated assurances that the stock is not an issue rather the manpower to install, they cancelled our order claiming stocks and cables and inverter etc are unattainable. absolute and utter disgrace
I would NOT recommend at all. After initially making contact via an online form I promptly received a telephone call. I then, a few days later spoke to someone called Mark Woollaston who was most helpful (bordering on pushy, and advised I send photos of my property which I did. I then did not hear anything for some time which I thought somewhat odd given the speed and keenness to help in the first instance. Having then chased up with an email I later receive A rather curt reply saying my roof Appeared to be too shaded and that was it . Had I not chased up I got the impression I wouldn’t have heard back at all. Given my roof is not shaded until around 7Pm in summer I didn’t think it would be too bad but Cleary I’m wrong and there did not appear to be anything more to discuss I shall be going else where
So if you don't buy from them they will send you snotty emails. I'm glad I didn't use them after all of this is how your treated if you don't give them what they want. My advise, don't use them.
System still not working and In2gr8ted are ignoring my calls and emails. This company installed a system for me in Apr '22 with Trina panels and a Fox inverter. The Fox inverter keeps showing a fault. Fox have explained how to fix it, but need In2gr8ted to define/register the system so they can access it on their cloud to make the updates. After three months of chasing, and being told it would be sorted, my solar panels still aren't working properly and my calls and emails are now being ignored. Rail cuttings were also left on my roof, and blue cable ties strewn all over the drive. I wasn't too bothered about clearing up a bit once the installers had left, but sharing while posting this review. Would not recommend this company due to spending so much money, and still having a system that doesn't work properly.
We had our PV and Battery Storage system installed at the end of March and we're really pleased so far, one of the best quotes we had and suited our needs perfectly. From the initial sales with Mark (very informative and not pushy) to the installation team (top guys!) it was a very smooth process, only hold up due to Western Power. A couple of queries along the way, and afterwards were dealt promptly by Paul. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.
Very good installation the guys were clean tidy and professional I will no hesitation in recommending this service. Many thanks N.W and his team.
I have had an exemplary experiences dealing with In2gr8ted Solutions and with the installation of my Solar & Battery system. Paul (the owner) was always available for a call or email to answer any questions I had as well they were quick to resolve any issues that occurred even though the problem was caused by a third party and not them. Overall I would recommend In2gr8ted Solutions to anyone who wants a simple and easy experience going green.
They did a great job, the installation was professionally done and went very smoothly. Nick did a great job before and after the installation, he has been in touch several times afterwards to ensure everything is OK, much appreciated
We had a 4.2 kW panel system with 8.2 kW GivEnergy battery fitted at the end of January. We had a number of quotes towards the back end of 2021 and went with in2gr8ed solutions as we had a lot of confidence in their representative John Hunt, who seemed very knowledgeable, helpful and non-pushy. He is also local to us in Harrogate which made a difference. The installation was relatively quick and seamless and we have had no issues with the system whatsoever and enjoy watching it save money every day. I would have no hesitation in recommending John Hunt and integrated solutions for anyone looking to get solar panels in Yorkshire
We got a number of quotes and a lot of pushy sales people who rubbished other people's systems. Nick Walton was different, he gave credit to other systems where it was due but explained the benefits of his offering, even sending me to an unbiased video review of the system which explained its limitations and so you got a good idea of what to expect.
I would not hesitate in recommending In2gr8ted Solutions for installing a solar panel system. Nick Walton, their southern representative, was very informative and came up with a solution with met our needs. Very informative without being pushy. The instalation process went very smoothly and on time. Excellent company. Nine months on the system is still running smoothly without any problems.
Nick Walton was friendly, did a good introduction and provided professional advises to my installation. Before the solar panels arrived, though there were supply issues which may delay the works, he let me know soonest and provided alternative solutions to my job and keep it on time. During the course of installation the team arrive early and complete the job early and professional. Subsequent to installation, the team gave quick responses to my queries.
Nick Walton of In2gr8ted Solutions was a joy to deal with. From the beginning there was no hard sell (like some other solar panel companies I've had the misfortune to speak to). He explained all the products and solutions that In2gr8ted offered and what solutions would work on my property in my location. He came on site to show all the options and calculate the number of panels and even suggested a better location for the battery rather than position it in the loft. He arranged all the documentation and introduced me to Paula to continue the process. She organised the installers and all the paperwork for being an electricity provider. The installation team were courteous and tidy. Cleaning up after themselves and explaining the working of the equipment and setting up the app. We put 4 panels on a south facing roof and 8 on a west facing one. Even though the installation was in January and it has been pretty miserable and cloudy since then, we have generated electricity most days and I get extreme pleasure seeing the power we generate going into the grid. My experience with In2gr8ted has been great. At all times I have felt valued as a customer and any issues (scaffolders) was resolved quickly by both Paula and Paul (in the main office). I highly recommend them and know where to go if I move and want panels in my next property.
We took the precaution to get a number of quotes from a variety of solar panel providers. There were cheaper companies than In2g8ted Solutions, but we went with In2g8ted Solutions as Nick Wilton (Sales and surveyor) was the most knowledgeable and seemingly trustworthy. The In2g8ted Solutions team - unlike some lesser companies we looked at - worked together to produce quick and knowledgeable answers to questions and sorted problems quickly and efficiently. A special mention should be made to the fitting team; led by Scott and his two assistants Paul and Josh who, in extremely bad weather and unforeseen situations, completed the job on schedule in a neat and professional manner. Our initial instincts that In2g8ted Solutions were a good and trustworthy team were well founded; we are extremely pleased with them.
In2gr8ted Solutions' Nick Walton (Surrey-based representative), company owner Paul, Paula, Scott & co. (installers) were all unbelievably responsive to our needs and from initial phone enquiry to installation took just over 2-weeks to deliver an awesome solution. Nick almost immediately came to prepare the company's most detailed and informative quote (compared with four others in the south of England including a supplier nominated by local authority). As their name implies, we needed an integrated solution - solar panels, large in-house battery and Zappi car charger - which only they seemed genuinely qualified to deliver. Price was an important consideration but more importantly we wanted a quality installation by a reputable installer and as soon as possible. We definitely made the right decision and already, on 2 or 3 reasonably sunny days in late November with low sun angle against our 30 degrees SSW roof and only from 0800-1530, we are seeing ample free electricity for home use and our 40-50 miles per day of EV car use / charging with a small amount going to the grid. Given rising energy (and grid exporting prices), not to mention gas and petrol shortages, we expect significant short-term payback and certainly believe the system will enhance the value of our home. Hence, would recommend anyone considering taking advantage of latest solar and battery technology should check what In2gr8ted offers.
My neighbour had solar and recommended them to us. Within a few days Nick came around and clearly outlined proposals and quoted a price in a way which everyone understood. Three weeks later a team arrived to install. Our house is far from conventional but Paul, Scott and Josh were brilliant and worked around some potential challenges. Like my neighbour, I would highly recommend them as a company.
Mark in sales at In2gr8ted Solutions Ltd worked with me to get the correct system for my needs and supplied in-depth technical knowledge on their flexible offerings. A Solar and battery combo. Once agreed, Paul C arranged a survey within a couple of days to confirm roof surface area, done by Ben, a polite and experienced third party surveyor. This happened well within their 14 day cancellation period, if the contract needed to be altered. 2 weeks later, Scott, Paul (another Paul) and Josh fitted the system in one day. They worked very hard and left a working system. They were a good lot. Paula (not a type-o, but another Paul-a), helped ensure the online systems were working and recording the solar production and confirmed the completion. The system has just filled the battery with energy on a sunny (winter’s) day. Thank you all at In2gr8ted Solutions Ltd. A very happy customer!
From the beginning to completion, IS were attentive, professional and prompt. The process was not without problems but they were resolved very quickly and to my complete satisfaction - though, annoyingly, the scaffold was left erected for two weeks after the PV array was finished
I had Solar panels, two Inverters and a battery installed by in2gr8ted Solutions the installation being completed on the 7th April 2021; it is working well. The Sales Executive was knowledgeable helpful and competent spending an hour and a half in my garage explaining everything to me without complaint in sub-freezing temperatures (Covid regulations prevented him coming indoors). A man also with a nice demeanour, not at all pushy. Pre-contract my detailed technical questions were answered quickly and competently before I had paid a penny. Post contract the firm is proving to be just as efficient providing installation certificates and other paperwork quickly enabling me to register with an energy provider to secure my Smart Energy Guarantee (facilitating payment for excess power generated). I researched Solar installations very carefully before placing my order having no previous knowledge of these systems, I found the Code of Practice for Electrical Energy Storage Systems (2nd Edition -the latest) most informative. I checked out the equipment to be used and the firm both of which stood up well to scrutiny. The installers were a competent team who worked well and hard together with good humour even when encountering some problems and delay. They paid attention to my requests and installed the system accordingly confirming those requests did not adversely affect the installation. I made a good decision contracting with this firm, be careful others I contacted were in my opinion clearly not in the same league, you get what you pay for.
After doing a ton of research and getting lots of quotes I decided to go for In2gr8ted solutions to do my installation and I could not have been more pleased with the product and installation from start to finish. After recieving extremely comprehensive and technical descriptions of how the whole system works (Mark Woollaston...thank u!!!), I then had a survey done by Ben before the team arrived on the day (On time) to carry out the installation. The team fitted the system in a record time (Started at 9am finished at 2pm) and were able to meet my exact requirements in terms of hiding cables behind cavities and basically fitting everything in a very professional and proficient manner. Now the system has been fitted for a few weeks I could not be more pleased. I am effectively self sufficient in producing electricity (and storing it) on average generating 15kw of energy a day (I have produced 240kw since the installation about 3 weeks ago and only imported less than half that amount from the grid). I have no doubt that as soon as I have changed my energy tariff with Octopus that I will start to benefit from the exported energy as well). Ok ...Id like to finish by saying that the personal service I have been given by the whole team...admin, survey, technical, fitters and from the boss of the company Paul...who called to check I was completely sattisfied.....has been absolutely first class!!! I will be using this company again to install an EV charger and to add to my battery storage capacity in time. If you are thinking of going solar then....USE THIS COMPANY! The other quotes I recieved were way over the top and in some cases they did not recommend the right solution for my home...Int2gr8ted solutions did so.... 100%.... and thats why I went with them. I have never written a review or given feedback but the quality of this service fully deserves this 5* review.
I didn't know much about solar panels other than the obvious, sunlight = power, but Mark W spent a good couple of hours explaining to me about the options and answering all my many many questions! Feeling very confident now moving towards a decision to purchase.
I have just had solar panels fitted to my house by these guys and I have to say any fears or reservations I had have all gone. I’ve been thinking of getting it done for years and I only wish I’d of done it sooner. From the beginning of the process when I dealt with Mark I felt my mind was put at ease and all my questions answered. The installations team did a great job too. I’ve had a few of my neighbours commenting on how smart it looks. Very happy customer 👍🏼
Mark is professional, punctual and just generally a good guy. So glad I decided to go with his business.
We got quotes from a few companies but were very impressed with In2gr8ted Solutions. The Salesman who we spoke with Mark Woollaston was so knowledgeable but also spoke to us in terms we could understand. He was very patient with us and explained it all so we completely understood what was involved.
Mark Woollaston spoke with us and conducted a survey using google maps. He was extremely thorough in his explanation of how solar panels will benefit me. My system has now been installed; the installers were efficient and it all went really smoothly. Mark is helping me to get the best deal from my energy provider and I'm looking forward to making big savings.
Id been interested in solar for a while and through a friend heard about In2grt8ted Solutions. The salesperson Mark Woollaston was well-informed, friendly and I didn’t feel under any pressure to buy. Having spoken to a couple of other companies, the quality, service and price confirmed my decision to buy from In2gr8ted Solutions . The installation was quick and easy by a friendly team, who gave us lots of advice too.
Got a good recommendation for batteries and a voltage optimiser from Mark at In2gr8trd. The team installed the kit promptly and efficiently and I'm very happy with the GivEnergy equipment and website. Happy to recommend!
Absolutely dreadful, abusive and unreasonable behaviour from mark woollaston of In2gr8ted solutions. This unpleasant person took it upon himself to call me after I'd let him know by polite email that I'd chosen another company. He was Indignant and disgustingly abusive. AVOID!
Great experience from start to finish, Nick Walton our salesman was professional, answered all question, fitters of panels were polite and the end result was neat and tidy. Recommend getting the bird protection.
I have installed our solarpanes through In2gr8ted Solutions, they have done an amazing work. The negative part is there was no adequate information about the panels to be installed bird proof. Now under the panels there are more than 15 pigeons. I called this company they said they don’t deal with it. It is costing me £1500. Any one using this company please look for solar proofing during installation and this company don’t even tell you about it.
Just had a complete 4.6kw solar array/PV and battery system fitted by Paul and his team after looking at multiple companies. Was really looking at Sunpower solar panels with a Tesla battery system, so look at approved/certified installers for both Sunpower and Tesla. Tesla in particular are very particular on training/certification. Had a good experience with Mark their sales person and was very responsive to the different options/quotes I wanted. As with all sales people he did follow up, but with an honest two way approach I had a good experience dealing with him. Paul Cafferty the company owner came to do the survey and was detailed in his approach, answering all our concerns (not with the company but just solar/implementation in general) giving us confidence in their approach. He fully checked all aspects of the installation, with detailed inspection of the loft and we knew exactly what was expected of us for the installation day. The installation team was made up of Paul and two further engineers (Scott/Paul) for the first day and they did a fantastic job, with a great sense of humour between them all. The installation was a very tidy one with no external wiring, bring the wiring down in a really clean way from the loft of the house. Panels look really well aligned and fitted, and look well on the roof. Following installation of the panels you could tell they had been outside the house, and any tiles cracked were all replaced with no hassle or concern. Scott/Paul finished off the installation on the second morning (extended due to battery system taking a little longer) and the system worked fantastic without no problems or any sign of concern from my part (I work with large automation systems, so used to quality installations). No problems or concerns through any part of the installation, and although they had to accommodate some challenges (pipes in the way etc), they did it with a calm and considered approach. Ended up going with Sunpower for the panels and GivEnergy for the 16kw battery solution (instead of Tesla) as it gave similar operation but with additional capacity. I can now run from 5pm through to the morning (sun rise) without any major use of the grid. Overall really nice team, lead by an honest and open owner who even was happy to discuss previous negative review without prejudice. Would certainly recommend to family/friends and anyone reading this review. BTW, I have no relationship or link to Paul and the company in any way.
Building an extension to our house, so the old solar panels had to be taken down. When the extension roof was finished, we looked around having the panels put back up. Had a quote from a local solar company and they wanted £6k to use the old panels with 2 new invertors because he says it works better in 2 strings. A few more companies wanted to sell me a new system panels and invertor, with quite starting around £5k. As we are on the original feed in tariff, it's worth a lot of money so with keeping. I heard about individual diode panels which works independently when I visited the New build centre in Swindon. Web search and solar edge came up, rang them and explained the situation, they said I can't replace the panels as I see fit, they can only be replaced if one failed. This is the conditions from the feed in tariff. Did some research and they were correct as energy provider can say no and cancel the feed in tariff contract. We agreed on a price to add 17 Solar edge optimizer and a new invertor. The work took longer than originally quoted, and the price went up a couple of hundreds of pound, the reason being they wanted to use rubber tiles for footing as the concrete tiles can and do crack. I do see where they are coming from, but it could have been mentioned beforehand. This is the only reason why they didn't get a 5 stars. Back to the solar edge optimizers, they work great, in the one month and half we had it, the system has generated over £160, as opposed to the £120ish we used to get for the Xmas quarter. Would I recommend the solar edge system? 100% I would. Would I recommend In2gr8ted? 90%, wish they had done a site survey beforehand and mentioned the advantages of rubber tiles, rather than on the day of installations, although we didn't have to use the rubber tiles but it would delay installation as well as potential damage to tiles. To say the truth we would probably would have gone for those anyway.
Please stay well away from this company. I have received abusive text messages from mark woollaston only because I refused his quote. Absolutely shocking behaviour which I'm going to address to trading standards and MCS. Please stay well clear as when things go wrong or he does not like what you have to say be prepared for the abuse.
I have spent about £8000 and was promised that I will get back £175 a month by the salesman by the feed in tariff and government grants. I am paying £135 for the loan each month. Last year I received a total of £43 for the whole year from the feed in tariff. Therefore, I had lost £1,575 (£1620 - £45). So don't do that! It's basically a scam. Who in the right mind would lose £1,575 per year and put solar panels.
From the moment I first met Steve to the fitting by Scott and his team to the final paperwork by Paula the whole process has been exceptional. I would recommend In2gr8ted Solutions without hesitation. FIRST CLASS !
We had solar panels fitted to our dental surgery by In2gr8ted Solutions, they were outstanding throughout the process. Steve Harris, Assessor / Surveyor handheld us through the maze of systems available and Paul, with his team carried out the installation with tremendous skill and care. Look no further, these guys are head and shoulders, above the rest and come highly recommended.
Did a fantastic job setting up my solar and powerwall set up! Thrilled with the work they've done and were always helpful and communicated well the whole time! Will definitely be recommending them to any one interested in any of the services they offer! Thanks again!
In2gr8ted Solutions were helpful at the stage where we considering solar energy. There were a couple of issues along the way which they dealt with smoothly and effectively. The finished work looks good and in the first 3 days we have generated 78kWh!
