Good job done quickly and at a good price

My engineer arrived on time, did a super job, cleaned up after himself and was very patient explaining how to operate my new boiler .

Rang Mel at APG at 4;50pm yesterday. She made an appointmet for today for 8am. Josh turned up exactlctlly on time.He is a very pleasant and competant young man . After dxplaining my problem , he spent the time in a very methodical and professional way sorting things out.He made a real effort to inform me of what he was doing and why. I would recomend APG without hesitation

Had boiler serviced, Matthew was a very polite hard working lad, he went above and beyond he pointed out a problem and fixed it in no time and did a very thorough job.

Really happy with the job. Zak was punctual helpful and tidy. He kept us updated on work he was doing and gave us useful information on electric chargers which we are now considering.

We have been APG customers for over 20 years and been happy with them. 2 years ago they fitted a new Worcester boiler.Last year we forgot to get it serviced (in the past APG reminded us but failed to do it last year.). When we remembered we rang them and they sent someone to do the service.The lad didn't seem to know what he was doing, after some time he told us he couldn't get the boiler to work and we would have to ask Worcester to send an engineer.He failed to tell us he was leaving us without hot water which was working before his visit. The next day the Worcester engineer came and sorted out the problem , problem completely unrelated to what the APG lad had told us. We ended up paying £308 as the delay had invalidated the guarantee. We are extremely disappointed with APG.

Fantastic service from the team at APG, I wanted some extra battery storage fitting which I had purchased. The lady on the desk arranged for a site assessment by Tom who reassured me the work could be undertaken which was great to hear, he arranged for a quote to be sent over ( great price) all the way to booking me in. On fitting day James and Josh were first class, they turned up and fit the extra storage hassle free and with no interruption. I would highly recommend and use again.

Excellent company to deal with. From initial engineers recommendations for work required, through to implementation of old boiler removal and new radiator installation the engineers were punctual, thorough, hard working and diligent. We were consulted and informed at all stages of work. We will be using for all future work. We would recommend unequivocally.

Asked for a quote for a heat pump and solar instal , a chap turned up on the day had a cursory look around and said he’d send a quote, it’s been over a month and we’ve heard nothing. From our perspective a waste of time.

We have had two air conditioners installed by Chris and his team, and cannot praise them enough! They came when promised and the workmanship is of the highest standard.We have always found APG an excellent company to deal with, and have no hesitation in recommending them.

I recently contacted APG to ask about having a solar system installed I was very impressed with the first meeting all of my questions were answered after getting the quote I made the decision to go ahead.On the day of installation everything thing went smoothly the team were professional worked hard and kept me informed of the installation. James, and James (and James?) and Chris, and Chris, and Tom, and all of the other guys were brilliant and very helpful. They installed an EV charger and some aircon and were very professional throughout the whole process. I like my smart home tech, and although they didn't have a huge amount of experience in that area (and I didn't really know what I was doing) they were very patient and understanding in accomodating my requirements. I'm very happy, and we'll use them again.

APG installed our boiler nearly 10 years ago and we have been on the home care plan since then, with an annual service and occasional call outs. They are are very helpful and friendly team and they can usually come out within a day or two. A particular thanks to Reece for sorting out a hot water issue this morning at short notice 🙂

Woke up on a Monday morning my bathroom roof leaking water in rang APG they came out within an hour unbelievable service turned out it was a perished conection on boiler water pipe took him 15 mins I’m over the moon thank you from mr Ashcroft Walton le Dale

he was here for less than 30 minutes. he didn't follow gas, save isolation practise didn't switch the electric or the gas off. And he didn't even fill the service book I had to go running after him to catch him to do it. And this is the way he filled it in my next door's kid could do better.

We had a number of problems recently concerning our central heating system and leaks in a bathroom. It was complicated and took a while to diagnose and remedy. Throughout a very stressful period everyone from APG was very helpful, considerate and supportive. We were given all the information we needed at every stage and everyone who came to see us or did work to resolve the problems was very attentive and professional. We have been very satisfied with work carried out and will definitely continue to use this company.

I previously used APG and they were great infact fabulous. I called them in to look at an electrical problem which they weren’t able to find a cause but charged me £80 to not find a the fault. They did point out that some of our outside lights had water in them and I agreed with them that it was time to replace them. I asked for a quote to replace all outside lights, security lights and 2 outside sockets. A guy turned up on time to do the site survey and a quote was issued. However they couldn't find any lights from their suppliers that were matching that were with and without PIRs as we had 3 on the front of the house, 2 without and 1 with. It was important that these 3 lights looked the same as it would have looked odd. After much emailing back and forth with unsuitable ones I was given the link to their suppliers, one of which I couldn't get to work and one I looked at but nothing was suitable. I found lights that were better via Screwfix and was met with a comment about Screwfix lights not being very good. I insisted that was what I liked. I also asked in at least 2 or 3 email responses that one of the security lights be one that could be operated by remote, dimmed, turned on or off etc. Never got a response until the phone call...more on that later. Anyway what resulted was a quote that kept changing and it became more inaccurate with extra lights being added and a light without a PIR when it required one. I thought I would give them one more chance and printed off the quote and amended it in pen and scanned it and sent it back with a comment on bottom 'ring me...I'm not emailing anymore'. That seemed to have done the trick. Quote was amended and was correct. Job was booked in. A guy turned up on day arranged saying the guy who had done the quote had neglected to order the Screwfix lights and they would arrive later but he would start on the security lights and sockets. The lights from Screwfix were collected that afternoon but there were only 8 in the box. Initially the guy said the quote only had 8 Screwfix lights and when he checked it on his phone he discovered there were 9. So he had another trip out to Screwfix. Job was finished and lights look great. However despite asking for a receipt after paying promptly I am still waiting. So if you use APG be prepared for a bit of chaos along the journey. I can't fault the guy who did the actual work (although I keep finding odd bits of wire, screws and bags around my garden so he could have been tidier) but the guy who prepared the quote and should have ordered the lights was a waste of space.

APG replaced my old fuse box with a new consumer unit, and installed a new circuit for the electrics in my conservatory. The electrician turned up promptly , was polite and did a very neat job. I will happily recommend APG to my friends.

Really good company. Worked hard to sort out a difficult fitting and extremely helpful. Resolved an issue without any fuss . I would highly recommend this company .

Very disappointing - APG carried out an electrical semi-rewire of my house to a poor standard throughout (e.g. consumer unit not sealed safely, a fire alarm unit has since fallen off the ceiling as it wasn’t screwed in properly, a light switch fitting nowhere near straight on the wall, outside cabling left flapping about in the wind, bathroom extractor pipe disconnected and blowing condensation into the loft… the list goes on). The man who came to initially quote seemed highly knowledgable, and although the quote was a real fortune compared to others, I felt that I’d at least get what I paid for. Instead, they sent some young and clearly inexperienced workers round, who left a mess and even managed to accidentally bash a 10 inch hole in the stairwell ceiling with their ladders (please see photo) and leave without saying anything. When I raised it, they said I’d “probably be able to buy a paste or something” to patch it up. Despite complaining, and several subsequent assurances from APG to remedy the damage, nothing ever materialised and I ended up having to pay for a plasterer and painter/decorator to fix it. I therefore could not recommend APG at all.

I can’t fault the service I received from the initial quote to completion of the installation. APG did exactly what they said they would do, when they said they would do it. I was provided multiple quotes so that I could compare the boilers on offer rather than just being told which boiler was the best. The prices were extremely competitive and the work was carried out quickly, cleanly and by clearly competent and careful engineers. Overall I can’t recommend APG enough!

APG Installed a new Combi Boiler and removed my old redundant equipment. The service provided was excellent. From Chris who discussed all my options to Harry, George and Zac who installed the new boiler the service could not be faulted. Full works of out with the old hot water tank (due to leaking) and in with a whole new pressurised larger tank which has given us huge benefits with water pressure throughout the entire house. Just want to say a big thanks to APG for sorting me out with a brand new Baxi boiler. I was without hot water for a few weeks, but APG sorted my needs out in a thorough and professional manner. Staff were polite and courteous, advised me through the entire installation and on any future requirements I might need to consider. The cost was also very reasonable too. If you need your boiler replacing then you can't go wrong with APG on the case!

Highly recomand this company. They came as a emergency to my 99 year old mother in law. Who's boiler went faulty. Great staff and excellent enginers.

Having had issues with my existing shower in my en suite bathroom, I used APG to initially identify the source of the issue (that was causing a leak into the living room below) and subsequently remove the existing shower enclosure and install a new one. The initial inspection to identify the source of the issue was thorough, and various potential options to rectify the issue were all clearly explained/presented. Ultimately, I decided to have the existing shower enclosure, tray and tiles all replaced with new Perform panels fitted. From the outset, the installers were very diligent and careful - in particular, they needed to manoeuvre the large panels through various tight gaps in the house and took exceptional care. Similarly, whilst the job spanned a few days, the installers ensured the work area was spotless at the end of each day (contrast to other firms that I have used previously that only seemed to make an attempt to tidy at the end of the job). The workmanship on the install is first class and very much ‘night and day’ compared to what was previously installed (in my new build). See video for finished job. Whilst I have had no issues whatsoever with the install, based on interactions to date I have every confidence that in the event of needing after sales assistance, it would be dealt with promptly and professionally. Since my experience with the bathroom install, I have also used APG to repair a leak on my boiler/subsequently service it, and also a couple of electrical jobs, including fitting some new lighting (see image). This work again was completed to the same professional standard, with the engineers/installers being friendly and amiable. Overall, I have found APG’s service and workmanship to be first class, and would have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending them.

Had a bathroom fitted 15years ago,every aspect was totally shoddy. Had to repair lot of incompetent work and even now still finding faults. Having a new shower fitted and on removing bath panel found it to be stuck on with silicone and one screw whose head was mashed,on further inspection found bath waste is running uphill. Also loads of rubbish under bath. Electric wiring to shower had nicks in,voids in grouting etc,etc,etc. They knew it was a shoddy job but didn't care. Bodge and scarper

Had someone come round at 8am this morning and he’s just finished replacing my full boiler at 1pm, can’t fault the service at all. The engineer was fantastic, cleaned up after himself, kept the area clean and tidy. Left and it looks like no one has been round which is fantastic. Thankyou SO much! I’ve waited 6 weeks for my boiler to be replaced and they have been amazing with us. Can’t thankyou enough

We had a visit from two men today (19th August) to install a new shower, unfortunately we didn't ask their names but both men were extremely efficient and did a really good job, they were really polite, helpful and tidy, I can't praise them enough, I would highly recommend this company.

Had an EV charger installed today by APG. The two electricians did a fantastic job, they were friendly, professional and left the site as clean as they found it. Would definitely recommend APG, they were very good on price and I felt I was getting a top rate service.

APG are my go-to for any plumbing or electrical issue that arises day-to-day. Have used multiple times for various things (shower repair, boiler repair + replacement, thermostat upgrade to app based, radiator repair, electrical socket moving, electrical removals). Responsive, efficient, timely, professional. Have a problem, phone them up, someone comes round reasonably quickly to assess, then the job gets done reasonably quickly after with little fuss. Things just get sorted without any hassle or chasing around.

We have used APG a few times. Recently our boiler stopped working. APG were the obvious call. When they said it wasn't "fixable" we trusted them 100% based on our experience of them. They arranged and fitted a replacement combi boiler really quickly. The work was carried out so efficiently. All the staff are so helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. Nothing is too much trouble. The prices are fair. We have recommended APG to friends and family and will remain our "go to". Thank you APG.

Requested a service for my electric boiler and was charged £70 to be told it doesn't need one. Why send an engineer in the first place particularly when the boiler itself was supplied by APG and they had my details from when it was installed. This information should have been relayed at the time of booking not after sending the engineer. I accept that call out fees need to be charged but not when the call out could have been avoided. A valve on a radiator was replaced during the visit which isnt included in the £70 but had I known my boiler didn't need servicing, I would have cancelled the visit and fixed the valve myself. When I contacted them to query the price, zero effort was made to appease the situation. Disappointed.

Dealing with APG was a pleasure from start to finish. Booking the appointments and queries were dealt with very efficiently over the phone. Calls were immediately answered too which was a nice change these days! The engineer actually arrived early but waited patiently and then easily and accurately diagnosed the issue with our faulty boiler. He also gave me a workaround to keep things working whilst parts were ordered. A few days later a second engineer came well within the arranged time window to fit the new part and was equally pleasant and efficient as the first. Quote and Invoice were dealt with by email and payment via bank transfer (although credit card was also an option).

Cannot fault APG for their work. We've used them before for non emergency stuff but this time we had no hot water or heating 2 days before Christmas...Muz sorted it in less than 20 minutes! Thank you so much.

Very impressed. Diagnose the problem with our underfloor heating in minutes and managed to replace the motors in the valves rather than the whole valve saving a lot of money. Very pleasant people and very reasonable price. Would highly recommend.

Trying to get a gas tradesman out is almost as difficult as guessing the winning lottery numbers at the moment but this company was recommended to us so we gave them a go.....very professional, booked us a date and time for a gas engineer with no fuss and told us the price over the phone (gas fire service and chimney smoke test). Turned up on time and jobs done also very polite, will be using this company again in the future. Thanks APG👍☺️.

We recently had the bath taken out and replaced with a shower cubicle. From start to finish the job was 1st class. From the initial contact with Howard, the phone calls to the office staff and especially Calum who did the work.

Called up due to boiler pilot light going out, was given an appointment for the same day. Technician turned up on time and was very friendly, polite and helpful. Completed the job professionally with no fuss. Invoice was sent via email with very reasonable price. Great service and will be using APG again if we run in to any other problems in future.

I have now used APG for a problem with my boiler and the installation of a new hob in the kitchen. The service and communication for both Jobs was excellent. They weren't the absolute cheapest quote we had, but the cheaper quotes were for the install of a less well known boiler brand. They were fantastic on the day of install, the guys cleared up all mess and even came out a month later when the thermostat was playing up. Nice to have a professional company that seems to care about their customers :)

Can't say a bad word against APG every time I've asked for help they're always eager to help they clean and efficient and all the staff are very friend. So just use them!

Excellent service. Very quickly sorted and replaced my toilet. The toilet we had bought had a faulty handle, and they went above and beyond to sort the problem. They also service my boiler every year and installed my heating system years ago. Throughly professional and would recommend to everyone.

APG gave an excellent, thoroughly professional, friendly and no-nonsense service to provide my 80 year-old mother with a new boiler, central heating system and new bathroom. It was a pleasure dealing with all the staff from beginning to end of the process, and my mother is grateful for the thoughtful way everything was done, from design to completed work. (She has a constant stream of friends and neighbours visiting to see her new wet-room!) The family is very pleased with the end results, and would be very happy to use APG 's services again (in fact, my brother has!) and to recommend them to other people.

Our boiler completely died and APG came out within an hour on a Saturday at no extra charge. Unfortunately the boiler was too old to repair, but the fitter tried everything including 15 minutes on the phone to the Worcester Bosch Technical Line to diagnose issue. They then provided a quotation for a replacement within 24 hours, i.e. on a Sunday! I can highly recommend APG as a professional outfit

Fantastic service from this company. Our 90 year old aunt's back boiler broke down and a new heating system was needed. Paul and the plumbers were very professional and really helped with explaining to our aunt all the work that was needed, how long it would take and completed the work to a very high standard. It was reassuring that this company treated our aunt with respect and patience.. I would recommend them highly.

APG have done a fantastic job working on my property, they have installed Solar PV, Solar Thermal and an Air source heat pump. They always attend when they say and the staff are very knowlegable and really know there stuff. Its great to meet a company that is happy to work with new technology.

Darren and Liam did a first class job fitting a new boiler and integrating it with a 35 year old central heating system. The job was done quickly and professionally - recommended.
