Very professional, very clean and tidy and the workmanship was also very very good. My husband is a builder so his standards are very very high, YDS exceeded his expectations which is very surprising as he’s a tough old fella to please lol. Kat was wonderful in the office and Dave was very very good with his knowledge and thermal imaging software to identify exactly where th damp was without any question about it. We had 2 other quotes who said there was loads of extra damp which Dave shown me on his thermal imaging software that it was bone dry. Very honest company. Thanks guys
Great company. Turned up at the exact time and date the job was planned in for, completed it within the time frame agreed, they were super clean and tidy. They were super fussy with the attention to detail so the finish was impeccable. Dave was amazing and Kat in the office was very attentive and got back to me with any questions I had within mins. Fantastic experience all round.
I’m blown away by this company, genuinely. I’d had 3 quotes from local companies and YDS had a price guarantee which basically beat any quote that was like for like, they literally covered all basis, PCA accreditation (don’t use a company unless they have this) insurance backed guarantee for 30 years and 100% money back guarantee. They turned up on time, super clean, had emails all the time updating the process and invoicing, plus text messages. Super clarity on everything. Dave was a great guy and felt super confident with his level of expertise. Good genuine local company.
Very happy with this company, I had a couple of local conpanies quote, they were not specialists and didn’t have any accreditations to say they were. Your Damp Specialists had every accreditation relevant to the damp industry. They also had a price guarantee so they beat another companies quote that was like for like. Overall I have zero complaints and can honestly say that they are worth every penny.
Moved into a new property this year and got a home buyer survey from the damp specialists. Kat and Dave were great!
Amazing company, from the very first point of contact I can’t fault them in any way whatsoever. They were very very knowledgeable. The house was very old and the damp had failed from three different companies that had tried to cure it in the past 4 years. The amount of money I’ve spent has been crazy. Once I’d done my research on accreditations, there’s literally only 2 companies in the whole of Teesside who have the correct accreditations who are legitimate damp specialists, with your damp specialists being one of them. It’s been 18 months now and not even a hint of damp. Five stars all the way. Do your homework on systems and accreditations before taking any steps forward.
Great service, arrived on time to complete the job. Advised properly on the cause of our mould, since installation we have had no return of mould. Not even in the small bathroom where it has been returning every few weeks. Price was also a lot more competitive than other quotes I had!
Great quality work, got my damp issue sorted very quickly will definitely be recommending these guys to everyone I know
8 months after they damp proof my house damp came back and mould started to grow again on the walls very poor quality
A good service from start to finish Mark who did our damp proofing is a nice lad and a brilliant plasterer he even did a great job in the tiny cupboard under the stairs 😁
The windows were streaming with water, carpets and wallpaper mouldy. Within one day of the PIV installation the windows are bone dry and the air feels fresher. Absolutely delighted. The PIV was fitted within an hour, the staff and service have been excellent. Would recommend this firm.
Have worked with Your Damp Specialists for 3 properties now and cannot recommend them enough. Fast, Honest, efficient, cost-effective, and very happy to deal with. Thanks!!
Had a damp survey undertaken for property I am looking to buy. I rang around a few companies and this was the best price for the same service offered elsewhere, and they could provider a quicker timeline than others. Survey was completed in a couple of days and report a couple of days after that. Survey came back with no issues. Professional, efficient and good value for money.
Highly professional, extremely organised and attention to detail is always top priority. Would recommend without hesitation.
