I’m really disappointed with how an issue with my rug was handled. I took the rug in for cleaning and showed the member of staff the care label and cleaning instructions before leaving it with them. I was told that was fine. When we collected it, the rug had shrunk by around 40cm in one direction — far beyond the approximately 5% shrinkage the manufacturer advises can be expected. I went back, not initially to demand compensation, but simply to understand how the rug had been washed and dried so that I could discuss the problem with the manufacturer. Unfortunately, rather than being able to explain the cleaning process, I was told I would need to return to speak to the particular member of staff who had cleaned it, who had worked there for 37 years and “wouldn’t make a mistake”. I was also told that responsibility rested with me because I had handed the rug over, and was asked whether I had specifically told the member of staff how it should be washed — despite having shown them the care instructions when it was accepted. I appreciate that mistakes can happen. What disappointed me most was the response when I raised the problem. I would have expected a professional cleaning business to take responsibility for investigating what happened and to be able to tell me how an item entrusted to them had been cleaned. Sadly, after this experience, I won’t be returning.

First time using the launderette and it was so easy. The lovely lady working there was so helpful and took over our drying as we had to leave for a while. Definitely will be returning.
Lovely clean and tidy place, my washing machine wasn't working so I did a few loads of laundry here. Nice and warm atmosphere inside as well. Quick - wash cycle took 35 mins (£7), dryer operates on a coin basis (£1 for a few very powerful minutes of drying). They also have a service wash and dry.
I was in Winchester visiting a friend. My friend’s washing machine was not working, so I went to the.Winnall Launderette. The owner was working that day and he was incredibly kind and helpful. The prices were very reasonable and I had a lovely time chatting with him as my clothes washed and dried. I saw the owner help several other customers while I was there. 10 out of 10 would recommend this place to anyone!
Great laundrette!! Took a whole load of rugby shirt. I got them washed and dried in an hour. Lovely staff!
Wow there are amazing new machines here! Such a friendly place with a community building atmosphere. Plus you can get your washing and drying done to a high standard 🙏 Now December 2024 there are fancy new dryers! Excellent 💯🙏
Good service. My washing machine broke down and I needed a launderette. The manageress was very helpful. This place does not do cards; please take notes and the manageress will changes them into coins

Popped into whilst travelling about in out motorhome. Extremely helpful lady, gave change. £10.80 for very large wash, or £5.40 for small. Would definitely recommend this place. Even had magazines and books to read whilst waiting. 5 star
I have not been to a laundrette for many years. I will definitely be going to this one again, mainly because the atmosphere was fabulous. The lady and gentleman who were managing the operation were amazing, created a warm and friendly environment. My clothes were washed and dried as expected, the only reason I have given 4 stars is some of the machines were out of order. So 5 stars for the team on site, thank you for all your help showing me how to use everything, and for the great conversation. See you soon Nicola

Haven't been to a launderette for many years so hadn't a clue! The lady was very helpful explaining which machine to use, supplying change and giving guidance on how long my duvet would take to dry. Great service. Will definitely use again when the time comes.
Absolute WORST customer service i have ever experienced. Confused how on earth anyone could rate this place above a 1 star?? The woman running this place is nasty and rude, such a disappointment and a let down for Winchester. If your thinking about coming here.. DONT!
We arrived in Winchester after a very long drive, and went to the local launderette to freshen our clothes. The woman manning the place had the worst customer service and attitude we had ever experienced. She actually scared us out of the place with her rudeness, I have never been spoken to like that by a stranger who is providing a service. I would definitely avoid this place... Especially if you are expecting to wash anything an hour and a half before they close... As the lady is clearly desperate to leave!

Need more launderettes like this. If you don't have a washing machine or it breaks down then you will see why we need more.
I was a regular customer. I dropped off my laundry for cleaning via their bag wash service. When I got my items back they were covered in bleach stains. I asked to be reimbursed and the owner denied my claim. So furious. I will be taking them to court to recover my damages.
Very unprofessional. We use them for our business only to find out they've been saying derogatory things about our business and several others in the area. I do not pay them for this!
