Will and the team at 1st Class Professional Cleaning Services did a fantastic job cleaning the communal areas of my son’s student house. Don’t think the oven has ever been that clean!! It really took the pressure off so thank you!

Very bad experience. Cancelled appointment without noticing the client. Rebooked but still need to reminded by the client for the appointment. Also, the final report shown more than 20 points about cleaning issues after an end tenancy cleaning done by this company. Unbelievably that the report said cigarette has been found on the shelf but no one smoke in the family and everyone has been moved out before the cleaning.....

I booked my end of tenancy cleaning with this company. And I must say that Will did a fantastic job and I was very pleased with the look of the floor, kitchen area, sink, bathroom, bedrooms, hall,...every room basically, including the windows, furniture and the switches even were shiny clean. His quality of service was far more than the price he charged. I would highly recommend Will and his team to anyone who wants the work to be impeccable 👌. They were very professional and trustworthy as well.

My tenant arranged an end of tenancy clean. Upon inspection I found the freezer not defrosted. Grimy fridge shelves. There were crumbs in most kitchen units. Dirty bins. Silly me thought asking them to come back would be simple. Yes, Will came 2 hours late. Apparently sat nav error. Very defensive and annoyed. It's clear his standards are pretty low in terms of performance and courtesy to customers. He came up empty handed so no intention of an immediate fix. Seems he subcontracts and then relies on the cleaners to do a quality control check. I did not have the luxury for him to arrange a proper clean, so scrambled to get an emergency cleaners as the new tenants were due the next day. Their comments on the quality I wont even mention. So use him if you have a plan B in place.

Mr Will was recommended by my estate agent, who authorised him for my end of tenancy cleaning. He has a nice attitude and is very helpful. The service included carpet washing, his pricing was competitive compared with others in the region, and the whole job was done well. A reliable company.

I have his voicemail saved for future references. FYI, We have pictures and videos of how the refrigerator was before you came to clean and it didn’t have this stain. So you used the wrong chemical on it…

We booked both end-of-tenancy cleaning and carpet cleaning, and the total price was very reasonable. The cleaner arrived on time, and the online assistant responded quickly. However, the agent checkout team informed us that they didn't believe the carpet was properly cleaned with detergent. They mentioned that they would need to arrange for the carpet cleaning to be done again, which cost us an additional £150.

I have used these guys for quite a few end of tenancy cleans in Reading over the last couple of years, and they are the best cleaners I’ve ever had. They transformed a kitchen which I thought was going to have to be entirely redecorated it was so greasy/messy. They do carpet cleaning, oven cleaning, everything and they are really competitively priced. I highly recommend them.

One star would be generous. Booked in for a end of tenancy clean and whilst I spent the whole day in the flat waiting for them and calling them they decided to eventually block my phone number instead of telling me why they weren't there.

I had an excellent experience with 1st Class Professional Cleaning for my end-of-tenancy cleaning. The team was incredibly helpful, providing clear details upfront about what would and wouldn’t be covered. The quality of the work was good, and even my landlord was impressed with the results. One small area was initially missed, but they promptly returned the next day to address it, which was truly impressive and greatly appreciated.

I'd fallen behind on cleaning since my Csection with a baby that refused a bottle. At first i thought it was really good but then i saw lots of things they missed like marks on the walls, doors and skirting boards, dusty surfaces, which i had to finish off after they left. They did a job with the carpet and oven.

I hired this company's services with the expectation of professional cleaning in preparation for the final inspection from the letting agency. This company explicitly assured that if the agency was not satisfied, they would would return to rectify any issues. The inspection found the ground was not even vacuumed, there was dust throughout, a food odour to fridge and a dirty item left within, splashes in surfaces, grease on extractor, water in freezer, and the list goes on and on. The letting agency conducted the inspection and obviously verified the cleaning did not meet professional cleaning standards. When suggested about the follow-up service, the agency declined it as only authorised agency services were allowed in the premises. This left me in a very difficult position as they had no choice but to hire another cleaning service at additional cost (380£), much higher than from this company or competitors. I've requested a full refund but, not surprisingly, no answers were given.

We had an end of tenancy clean booked for January 29th, 2024. On the day… No one showed up, no one called, no one answered our calls, no one answered our messages. My partner and I both reached out to the business to try to connect with someone, both via phone and the WhatsApp message option on the website. My partner called multiple times and the number just rang, then called a final time and it went to voicemail. Highly unprofessional and extremely disrespectful, especially for those who are hopeful to get their deposit back.

We hired Will and his team for a final deep clean before we moved. Did such a fantastic job, even better than we expected. We had some sort of rust at the bottom of the toilets and they managed to get it off. So impressed! Really reliable, was quick and easy to book and we’re super happy! Really disappointed in this company. They sent two cleaners who were pretty blasé about the job and left areas uncleaned (they forgot to clean the toilet for example!) Came back the following day to put things right and the cleaners were very unhappy about having to do that - aggressive and rude. The place still wasn't clean even after their second visit. I think that's because their version of cleaning is 'wipe a cloth over it' whereas mine involves - shockingly - putting in some effort so things aren't dirty any more. If you need anything more than a light dust of some of your house, avoid this company. Oh, and their hygiene standards are non-existent. I complained about the service I received and was told the two cleaners in question had been fired. I pointed out that that solves a problem for the company, but doesn't help me. I asked for compensation but have heard nothing back.

Very deep and fast cleaning.

It was brilliant using 1st Class Professional Cleaning service because of the work they offer and I will use it again.

I do not rate them with 0 stars just because I cannot, and with few attached pictures (I could add many more) you can see why. After asking the cleaners to go back to the property for the poor job done (as they offer to do in case landlords complain about the state of their property), they guy first claimed that his van was magically broken, and then stopped answering. Stay away from them! P.S: do you know why oven cleaning if "for free"? Because they do not clean it!

Booked for our end of tenancy clean and did an excellent job. The lettings agency returned our deposit without asking any questions. The cleaner called to confirm when they started, and sent us pictures when they were done, really pleased.

We used them for end of tenancy cleaning with cleaning of carpets and they did an amazing job. 3 people came to do the job and the house was left spotless. There was some kind of crust in the toilet that I didn´t manage to reduce no matter how many products I would use on it and they manage to really face it. I definitely recommend them. Very happy.

I have recently used this service and have a mixed review of the service. It was for an end of tenancy clean and this was carried out for the cost of £360 which was not cheap but not expensive for the market. I checked the works after and felt the house was clean, though the follow up independent check by the agency found a number of areas in which the house was not as clean as they would have expected (crumbs in cupboards etc). I disputed this with the agency and contacted this company again advising of the situation. I was advised that they could return to clean the house again as per their guarantee (and to be fair this was the reason I chose them), though the agency advised that this was not possible as the company is not the one they use and so there would be a charge of £121 made against the deposit for the outstanding cleaning. I advised the agency this was ridiculous etc and they did not change their response. I contacted this company again advising that this was the case and was advised that their guarantee only covers a return visit to clean and that other agencies allow it, so not sure why ours would not. Now whilst I completely agree with this it has still left my cleaning bull at £481 now not £360 as quoted. Whilst I agree the report was very detailed, the reason you get in professionals is so you do not have to worry about things like this, and whilst I would not have expected a full refund or anything, a gesture towards the penalty charge would have been appreciated as essentially it was because of them not completing their job correctly. Based on this I could not recommend or reuse this company.

This is one of the worst cleaning company I have ever had in my years of landlord experience. Attached the pics from new tenants. After discovered those unsatisfied & uncleaned items (oven, fridge, and hood), I've asked the 1st professional cleaning to come back to fix those. I got promised from the guy from the company, but the cleaner just didn't show up that day. So I had to keep asking and chasing for revisit, but never had one or got my call through - I suspected my number is blocked by them. One advice - stay away from them

Awful Company. Booked them two weeks in advance for an end of tenancy kitchen clean. Rang up on the morning of the clean to check they were still coming and was assured two people were coming between 3-4pm. Waited till 4:10pm and tried to contact them and no one answered the phone. Rang numerous time that day and next day and no answer, rang several numbers posted online. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They are not reliable.

If I could give it 0 stars that'd be generous. The WORST experience ever, these guys are a complete SCAM. It was so bad here's a full list of everything that went wrong: * 2 dudes (whole "company") shows up smelling like weed. * Guy underquoted me and was hustling me for more money in cash. * The DID NOT comply with agency standards. * They BROKE my front door and tried to hustle me into paying for it together (didn't want to claim his insurance). * After obviously failing the real estate check, they missed multiple appointments to come back and clean it again so the real estate had to charge me again for that. * Multiple attempts to contact them and don't pick up the phone, so basically forget about a refund. This is the worst service of anything I've ever had. DO NOT USE.

This company is a complete scam. Paid 300 pounds to get a small flat professionally cleaned and was promised quality assurance. The cleaning was poor and when trying to call them to come back and do the cleaning properly they never answered. Absolute waste of money and time.

Absolute joke of a company. Did half the work we paid for, left and never answered our calls again.£300 down the drain.

This was a ripoff, I was told that they provided "quality assurance". I ended up being charged an additional 300 pounds by my landlord since the flat was "not cleaned at all". I was lied to by this company and it's employees, as they told me they would come back for an additional cleaning as agreed, and was even told that they'd picked up my keys and were on their way, only for them to disappear and stop responding. I literally payed them 275 pounds for absolutely nothing.

Tl:Dr v.bad experience in a 1 bed flat; lots of cleaning errors, 2nd time using them, landlord was not at all satisfied and neither was I! I used 1st Class for end of tenancy clean with carpet clean on a single room and got no problems in the exit report, however used them again on a one bed flat and got a totally different service entirely. Corners were cut completely; behind the sofa wasn't hoovered, or behind doors, and bits at the side of the bed (it was a furnished flat). They did not clean/wipe the doors, and apparently have a policy of not cleaning walls in case of paint damage. The property was new when we took it, so I think in fairness the exit inventory was more stringent than 1st Class were expecting, but the cleaning was not done to a good enough standard even by my own lower standards. In fairness they did agree to come back out, however this did not work for my landlord, and the poor quality they left the property in was despite not being rushed (they rang me when they were finished and then had to wait half an hour before I got there, as I had explained would be the case). Other issued were raised such as staining in the loo which our inventory clerk should have been removable, and smears/poor finishing quality on items that were cleaned. A few were cleaned to a good enough standard that no faults were found (the sinks mainly), but it was far from a guaranteed professional-quality faultless clean, which is what's advertised despite the very competitive pricing so it is what I expected. Communication was lacking, there was no confirmation email to say they would be coming on the day, this happened the first time too, though they are easy to contact and available at relatively short notice, and provide a friendly service, this doesn't counteract the laid-back approach which led to corners being cut. They said that the walls should not be charged to us if the landlord redecorated and that was why they generally don't clean them, but this did not go down well with our landlord and I can understand why! Wilson my main contact did promise to refund me £50 out of the £130 I paid at the time, however he has not done that despite several reminders and conversations since 10th September when the cleaning happened, which I think is pretty unprofessional. (I had investigated on a surface level but based on their previous good work and the amount of time, plus their guarantees and reassurances felt a further investigation would be rude and unnecessary. I wish I had insisted on witholding my pay until my own checks or the check out now). I was putting off reviewing until I got that refund because I wanted to give them a chance to make it right however I doubt this refund would ever have actually materialised despite constant promises, so it is not worth the time. If it gets paid to me I will update here. All in all do not rely on 1st class to please a picky landlord! Maybe use them if you are just getting the carpets done or have a very laid back landlord, and even then only if you are really short on money and time because you could probably do a better job yourself than involve this company! They did not even provide a proper receipt detailing that I had paid for professional carpet cleaning, so even that was difficult to convince my landlord of!

What an amazing service! Integrity and quality in one!

They cleaned the house but not professionally. The carpet had dirty spots after they cleaned it. They didn't remove the scale from the bathroom. We still found hair in the bathroom's floor. They didn't clean the microwave throughly nor the oven. Some corners were still dusty. They are cheaper than others...but don't expect much.

Called them on a weekend on a day's notice, and they turned up right on time with the van. Very thorough cleaning with an understanding of their customer. Definitely recommend them for work.
