Jigisha is extremely rude and a very difficult person as a manager to work with. I was shocked by her rude and arrogant behaviour. There was no apology for staff being late. There was no option given of staff working beyond the hours and when asked questions about it she was extremely rude and difficult. It is indeed sad that a very good service is spoilt by a very difficult staff manager Who is unable to coordinate and show team leadership. Despite asking her many times to let me know how many hours the person would be able to work? She refused to informed and I had to chase it with her to get her to let me know details and I had to chop and change my commitment to be able to work with the employee whom I took good care of and even made a cup of tea myself and provided her meals to take home. She has also not refunded back money when she. did not provide a cleaning service. Whilst, taking money upfront does not mean that you do not provide a service. If staff can be sick so can clients. They too have commitments and there is no empathy for clients? It’s all about money and profit making at a cost to clients.

I recently had to end my agreement with MHM reluctantly. I always received great service and flexibility from the team. The cleaners I did have were polite, friendly and hard working. I'd recommend this service highly and would definitely use again in the future.

When I initially inquired about a deep clean & carpet cleaning, they explained that payment was required upfront to secure the booking. Given all the positive reviews I’d read, I felt confident in going ahead, and I’m so glad I did. Their communication was excellent: polite, prompt, and incredibly responsive. On the day of the clean, they arrived exactly on time and immediately started work. In just four hours, my entire home was transformed. The carpets on my landing and in the living room, which had stubborn stains, looked spotless and smelled wonderfully fresh. Their attention to detail was fantastic. Recently, booked an office cleaning service with Mums Helping Hands we was fortunate enough to get Amenah to carry out such a thorough job. Left the place completely spotless, and removed some incredibly tough limescale in the staff bathroom that had accumulated in our establishment for a a few years. We had previous cleaning companies before that tried to remove it Mum's tackled our office and staff toilets, removed the lime scale, absolutely amazed. Exceptional work. Giving 2 stars as I can’t speak on the quality of their work. We asked for a quote and they said they would need full payment upfront, so we decided to book with someone else who didn’t need payment until after the service. They then called us to ask if we were going to book and we told them that we had gone with someone else. They then asked why, so we politely explained, and they got quite rude and defensive before hanging up on us. The whole thing was bizarre. I suggest if you can’t accept any negative feedback maybe just don’t ask for it in the first place?? I’m expecting, given the other low reviews they have, that they will also get defensive about this and reply to me just as rudely. BUSINESS’S INITIAL RESPONSE THAT THEY HAVE NOW DELETED: “Hi Amella, Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We’re very sorry to hear about your experience—it certainly doesn’t reflect the values or standards of our company. We want to clarify that it is absolutely not our policy to harass clients or end calls abruptly. What you described is highly unusual and concerning. If you did reach out to our company for a quote, we would not follow up in such a manner. After checking our records, we were unable to find any interactions under your name, and no calls matching the details you've mentioned appear in our system. All our phone calls are recorded for quality assurance, and we could not locate any recordings involving someone named Amella. To help us investigate further, could you please provide the exact date and time you contacted us, as well as the phone number you used? This will allow us to look into the matter thoroughly and ensure the issue is properly addressed. Thank you Mum's Helping Hands team” My Edit: I appreciate the professional and thoughtful response. I am concerned to hear that the phone call was recorded without our consent, especially since they’re the ones that called us without any prior-warning, giving us no chance to agree to this term. The initial quote was requested by my partner, so would not be in my name. I’ll get in touch directly to confirm details. BUSINESS’S 2ND RESPONSE THAT THEY HAVE ALSO NOW DELETED: “Reply to last to Amella, Firstly, when you contact our company, our phone system clearly states that all calls are recorded. If we had contacted you, your details would already be in our system, and there would be no need for a public message on Google review system Secondly, we are still waiting for your partner to provide his name and the date and time he supposedly contacted us. Are you certain you reached out to the correct company?” My 2nd edit: We initially contacted them on their phone number ending 0028. They then cold-called us from an entirely different number so we had no way of knowing that it was them when we answered. They then, apparently, recorded us without our knowledge or consent. This is awful practice for a business. We cannot consent to being recorded when we didn’t even know who was calling. We had planned to get in-touch confirming the requested details (hence why I checked the review to confirm which details they needed) but have now seen their response suggesting that, because we hadn’t yet been in touch yet after only 3 working days, our review must be posted incorrectly. I have no interest in wasting my time engaging with them any further, given that they are already showing signs of being argumentative and unwilling to admit fault. They will no doubt try to claim this as evidence that we have, for some reason, decided to target them out of pure “malice”. I advise potential new clients to consider that if a single business has an unusually large amount of “unfair” or “malicious” reviews, as this one claims to have, then the common factor is still the business themselves. Not all reviews can be fake and I highly doubt that any of the negative ones are in this case.

Brilliant service throughout. Explained what my requirements were and they showed up on time. Our cleaner was professional and respectful of all my personal items and my home. I wasn’t disappointed and I will book in for another I had a really great experience with Mums cleaning service. Found them very friendly on the phone. They took the time to understand what I needed, which made me feel confident they knew what they were doing. My parents needed a deep clean of their carpets, so I called Mums again to see if they could provide carpet cleaning service for my parents. They are a family-run business who are very informative beforehand and answered all questions I had. They turned up within a couple of days of arranging the appointment, which I was surprised by — I didn’t expect them to be available so quickly given the quality of their work. They take great pride in what they do, and my parents’ carpet looks brand new. The team arrived on time, fully equipped, and explained everything clearly before starting. They worked efficiently and with great attention to detail, making sure every area was cleaned thoroughly. They even moved light furniture around carefully and put everything back once done. Throughout the time we used the service they were consistently late for the times arranged as well as often not showing on days without any communication beforehand. Upon cancelling the contract, with the notice requirements and with all payments they then tried to bill us over a month later for a date where no one had been to our house and we were over 4 weeks from our regular slot and cancellation notices, having not received any additional services. Very poorly managed company with little to no accountability and professionalism Edit to respond: As said on the phone I do not take lightly to my partner being harassed for money not owed, particularly when this had been clearly identified both over email and text prior to, and upon, cancellation. The people on the phone repeatedly tried to make out that they were absolved of any blame on any part of their service and instead were absolved of any blame of any blame of firstly why we cancelled and then making the process needlessly stressful. Frankly harassing my partner for money is unacceptable from a personal standpoint and I will make that clear, as I did when I spoke to them. Their behaviour is abhorrent and, if this is consistent with all customers, particularly people less able to challenge and correct their errors, then I see it being a way of them coaxing money out of people without any valid reason. We have cameras, emails and text messages validating our leave date and additionally that none of the dates they are attempting to bill for did anyone attend and provide a service, nor were they booked in for one.

A really good courteous and professional service. A price was agreed upfront, and quickly booked in. On the day the process was fully explained and all signs of mould were removed leaving the rooms in a clean condition. just wanted to write this review after using this cleaning company and how helpful and honest I found them nothing wasn’t too much for them I was a bit reluctant paying upfront for their End of tenancy clean after reading a few of their reviews I was sold. After using an End of Tenancy Cleaning services, on the cheap which worked out to be a Nightmare. Our landlord said I will have to charge you £370 to get our own cleaners in to re-clean the house. I called Mum’s Helping Hands who had a lot of positive reviews we told them our situation about our landlord is going to take £370 from us to clean our house. Mums arranged to come to our property to give us a quote for an end of tenancy clean. They called us back with a quote of £260 for a 3-bed student house which was ok better than my landlord's price the cost we paid first was £100 to some back street cleaning company that received a flyer through our door. Our landlord deemed the end of tenancy clean not so good the company never cleaned the cooker or the bathroom properly and left cobwebs all over the house. Definitely not professional standard' and we would have lost a chunk of our deposit if it wasn’t for Mums, we paid £260 to get it re-cleaned. Our landlord was amazed that we found a good company at such short notice to clean his student house. One of big problem that the landlord was really angry about was the mould left in the house by the previous company after a deep clean We had mould in the bathrooms, in all bedroom’s windows and behind wardrobes, which the other company said they would remove. The previous company never removed anything they tried to tell me we need to get a contractor to skim the walls and repaint them which would of cost us a fortune being students. Mums also provided a service to remove mould. One of their mould technicians removed all the mould in all rooms and didn’t even charge us because we had an end of tenancy clean truly outstanding service. We paid extra to get the carpets steam cleaned has we found some nasty stain in my carpet left after a party we had. Mums arrived for a carpet specialist to come to our property after our end of tenancy clean. He got the stain out within seconds. He evidently is an expert when it comes to specialised carpet cleaning, and I cannot praise them enough Mums Carpet Cleaning service was also very high standard. The staff once again was incredibly friendly and professional it was a real pleasure to deal with all their staff. We truly thank you Mums Helping Hands for your expertise and great job we will be definitely be using you next year and definitely recommend your services to others.

It feels a bit like I've got Mary Poppins in the house, she can whizz through jobs that might take me all morning. and is happy to help with whatever needs doing. 2-hours a fortnight helps keep on top of things. Today was my first time using Mums helping hands cleaning services and it definitely won’t be my last! The ladies who arrived at my home, Maria and Charlotte were extremely thorough and meticulous with every nook and cranny. The carpet cleaner is friendliest and up beat person I have met Patrick did miracle...never thought my carpet would look clean as it is Great cleaning, good people. I can’t ask for more

We had a large stain on our sofa that I had tried to get rid of, which didn’t work at all. Not only did the original stain remain, but I caused watermark damage too. I contacted Mums helping hands, sent them pics of our sofa and they were able to send through a very reasonable quote straight away, and come the next day. Stain was removed and they also gave our sofa a great smell and clean. I’d have no hesitation in recommending them for stain removal.

Absolute joke of a company I booked in for a deep clean of a house (Under a sensitive situation) less than 24 hours before the clean they called me to say sorry they couldn't do. No heres what we can do or heres the number of another company you can try just sorry we cant do it completely letting me down with no time to get another company in I would not recommend this company at all Edit in responce I personally feel calling people who leave you reviews on google and having a go at them is bad business. You only explained about the person father after i wrote the review and what i advised was that I was in a similar situation with my father coming out of major surgery and i relied on your company to clean the house. Contacted Mums helping cleaning services for regular cleaning it has made such a difference - we actually get a whole weekend now! Initially, I was a bit unsure about getting a cleaner but now I would absolutely recommend it to everyone. Claire our cleaner is friendly and professional - she came around and answered all our questions. I am dealing with the sale of a deceased persons estate and the empty house seemed of no interest to anyone who looked. Mums helping hands cleaned some carpets and washed over a good number of walls and ceilings everything looked much better. Great service! Overall I'm very satisfied. I tried a similar service once before, and it was cheaper... but I got what I paid for. In this case Olivia did an amazing job--working very hard for just over two hours. (This is all based on just my first experience. But I will be using Mum's Helping Hands again.)

I just had a carpet clean completed for a fully carpeted house. David came on time, and did the job in an hour with excellent results. I booked a day in advance so I was very impressed with the speed of everything done. They brought heavy duty equipment to the property and the carpet looks like its new. I Highly recommended this 5 star service!!!!

I'd like to first off say, when the cleaners turned up, they did a fabulous job and I'm more than happy with the service they provided. That being said, we have had 4 cleans in the space of a month cancelled because of illness. Once, one of the cleaners was almost 3 hours late. Whilst one of the receptionists has been most polite, the other one is quite rude and snappy. Our bill was also wrong, which I had to ask them to rectify. I would avoid this company, as they seem to make a habit of trying to cover up their shortcomings. They will probably profess this is a fake review like they have with others...

These cleaners truly deserve 5 stars. These guys even opened up my scary kitchen cupboards, took everything out and cleaned them, then organized everything back into place much better than I ever could. They did everything I would expect and more.

This company have great customer service, within 10 minutes of me enquiring online I had a call back and got everything booked in for a few days later. The technician was prompt and very polite. He cleaned our dining chairs and footstool which all came up beautifully. I would defiantly recommend go for cleaning as I had a great experience and will use them again in the future.

I have used Mums Cleaners on 3 separate occasions. Once for moving out of my rented property and moving into my new property and again after the builders completed the works to the extension. Each time they did a fantastic job. The cleaners arrived on time with all the chemicals and equipment and made a start straightaway. I left the cleaners to it and when I returned I was amazed at the results. The office staff are always very professional and polite. I would definitely recommend Mums Cleaners to all my friends and family.

This company was contracted by my younger sister for an end of tenancy clean. The landlord was disgusted with the post-clean state of the property and sent photo evidence of the poor standard of cleaning (inside of drawers still containing crumbs, oven filthy, windowsills not even wiped etc). Even after they came back to sort it out, my sister’s landlord was unhappy. I’m living in the USA and such was the issue with this company that this is what the last two international calls my sister has made to me have been about because she has been so stressed out. I see the company have a history of claiming bad reviews are false - go ahead and do so. A quick look at my other reviews will tell you I’m not the sort of person to mindlessly leave vitriolic comments for the sake of it. I have nothing to gain by doing so. Students or parents of students - just beware. No reputable tradesperson of any sort will make you pay the full cost upfront for any work - the absolute standard is to pay a deposit and the remainder on satisfactory completion of the job. If you are paying upfront you should expect a substantial discount. I’d hate for someone else to have to deal with this shambolic company. I suppose they must have some good employees based on other reviews but their vetting and quality control clearly leaves a lot to be desired. EDIT: in spite of the claim below, the landlady was NOT happy with the reclean. It was a "Well, they clearly don't care so let's sort out the issue myself" situation. After all, why waste your breath when complaining clearly won't get you anywhere! Also, to tell someone that they have 'no knowledge' of the company, when they've spent two hours of their life listening to complaints about it, is patronising and rude - again, to those reading this, a clear red flag! If you want to be talked down to by someone with only the most rudimentary grasp of what constitutes professionalism and good writing, choose this company!

£75 to clean an average sized lounge carpet, absolute rip off...........Edited...... It’s not a false review, I have a copy of the invoice so no need to threaten me with legal action for slander. I have emailed and phoned but get no reply, I’m not putting details on here......Ok, You cleaned it on the 15th of May, I have taken photos of the invoice, do you want me to print it on here? Invoice number 2826....... My husband has it all on email and he’s working away, I’ve just taken photos of a copy, can’t you just check out invoice 2826 for 15/05/18?........... The letting agents booked you and forwarded the bill onto us as you know, you now must know after checking invoice 2826 that it’s true, there is no breach of data information the invoice was sent to us as a receipt for a payment, as I originally stated it’s very, very expensive for a living room carpet.

I usually stick to a single company to do all the cleaning as I hate searching for trusted providers which are quite difficult to find these days. These guys won my gratitude - the process was effortless, communication was great and they do everything you might need. I literally don’t have to bother to go and give them a key as they can go and pick it up from any convenient spot. Would definitely recommend to any landlord or tenant in Nottingham

Stay well clear of this unprofessional company who quote £190 then requote and send an email quoting £210. Duly booked for the 21st December. Receive a phone call an hour later saying they have wages to pay and due to time of year they want to increase the quote to £250. Absolutely disgraceful.

I used the mould removal service last week. My initial enquiry was dealt with efficiently and I was able to get an appointment sooner than anticipated. The gentleman that came out to me knew exactly what he was doing and cleared the mould effectively; he was also able to advise me on how to keep it at bay. I recommend this company and will be trying out their domestic cleaning services also.

Booked our first clean a week ago for this week (before Xmas) but the Company failed to book it in on the correct date (booked in for after Xmas - which defeats the purpose for us). The receptionist refused to accept that they booked in it incorrectly and couldn't do anything to remedy the situation aside for apologising for the miscommunication which does not help us. Given the short notice, this has caused us to lose out on getting another cleaner in. I came home from work specifically to meet the cleaner so lost out on more than half a day of work as well. This was going to be our first clean so would have thought the Company would try harder to sort the issue in order to have our custom/contract. Very disappointing.

Being a busy mother of two meant that I wasn't always on hand to help mum out with the day to day household tasks. I've used this cleaning Company for about 5 years now for my organisation and I am really happy with the service provided, to the point where I also use them when needed on a personal level when needed.

Started well with a good service. Deteriorated rapidly to the point that on the day of the regular clean we were having to clean our shower and mop the floor as clearly not done. Not great organisation or communication skills either. After a few months of increasingly vocally raising our concerns, nothing improved, so we cancelled.

Mums Helping hands carried out approx 40 property cleans for us this year and we have been very happy with their service, they understood that we wanted the properties cleaned thoroughly and they did just that. Nothing is without some issues but this year with this company they were certainly very few and minor and compared to other cleaning companies they did a great job and the tenants were happy and saw a professional clean had been carried out. I am a landlady and called for Mums Helping Hands to do a house clean once my tenants had left a property. Before the clean the house was an utter mess, soiled carpets, marks on walls, filthy kitchen especially the oven and general dirty throughout the house. I was surprised with a call from one of the cleaner a few hours later and returned to an almost unrecognizable place. It was immaculate from top to bottom, the bathroom and kitchen were exceptionally sparkling clean. I will definitely be using Mums Helping Hands again and would like to say a big thank you to the whole team for a great service.

In my opinion, terrible cleaners We were extremely disappointed by this company They had to be called back to redo the clean due to various errors (dust/stains), but did rectify their errors. We also payed £60 for the oven to be cleaned which was not done to a satisfactory standard. We had to have it redone by another company as mums helping hand disputed that they had been asked to do it. Finally, our landlord is asking for proof that the place was even cleaned, which shows the level to which this company cleaned the place.
