Hi, I hired Broom and Bucket to clean my oven because I have chronic fatigue and allergies to chemical smells. Vicky came to my flat and she was friendly and she ensured that ventilation was adequate. It wasn't an easy job for her because my oven hadn't been cleaned for a long time, but Vicky got stuck in and worked hard and after about an hour and a half my oven was spotless. Also the chemical smell was nowhere near as bad I expected and was completely gone in no time. I am very pleased with Vicky's job. I will be hiring Broom and Bucket again in 6 months time to keep the oven clean and I have no hesitation in recommending them to my family and friends and anyone who reads this. 😁

It's my first time using this company. Having just moved house, i wanted a deep clean for my kitchen and bathroom. What can I say. David was absolutely brilliant. Friendly and such a hard worker. He never stopped and I'm delighted with the results. Thank you David.

We had our first clean yesterday with Broom and Bucket and Juan was our cleaner. He arrived on time and was really professional. He talked us through exactly what he was going to clean in each room and when he was finished everything was perfect. After some bad cleaning service experiences in the past, I was a little worried but everything was seamless and we will definitely be back and recommend. Thank you!

Very poor company. I sent them photos of the issue before booking, and they confirmed they would be able to clean it. They asked me to pay a 50% deposit in advance, which I did. When the cleaner arrived, they were unable to clean it at all. Despite failing to provide the service they had promised, they refused to refund my deposit, claiming it was for the time they spent at my property. I would not recommend this company

I’ve been using Broom & Bucket for around 6 months now and couldn’t be happier. When I first got them in, the house needed a lot of attention after being empty for some time and they handled the initial deep cleans brilliantly. Now the regular fortnightly visits keep everything ticking over really easily, which frees me up to do things I actually want to be doing in my spare time. They’re friendly, professional, and really proactive with communication, always easy to get hold of if I need anything. The clean itself is consistently good and they’re brilliant with my pets too, which means a lot. A special mention to Holly and David who look after my cleans, their care and attention to detail really doesn’t go unnoticed. What really makes them stand out though are the little finishing touches. Things like folding the toilet tissue to a point, leaving a handwritten note, or coming home to find a little treat waiting so you can sit down with a cup of tea and actually enjoy your clean house. It genuinely makes me smile every time. Really happy to recommend them.

I had a very disappointing experience with Broom & Bucket for an Airbnb turnover clean. The cleaning quality was extremely poor and did not meet basic standards. Key areas were not cleaned at all, including a greasy oven. Kitchen surfaces, the hob and utensils were still dirty, and dishes from previous guests were put back into cupboards without being checked or dried. I even found items left under the bed, and bedding was changed in unused rooms while used beds were not changed. When I raised these issues with photos, I was told this was their standard. So this is simply not acceptable for an Airbnb turnover. The one star is only for polite communication. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this service. Update following the company’s reply: The property is brand new and had already been thoroughly cleaned before the first guests arrived, so this was not a situation requiring a deep clean. My concerns were not limited to the oven. I also documented issues with kitchen work surfaces, hob, utensils and areas under the beds not being cleaned properly. In addition, bed linen was changed in unused rooms but not changed in rooms that had been used by guests. For an Airbnb property, it is essential that the home is fully guest-ready after each turnover. Unfortunately, this was not the case here.

scammed me off £375, got my money back because both banks sided with me. Then they threatened to take me to civil court to retrieve £500 of extra fees! (havent done so yet, probably never will as I have the sufficient evidence and they’d just lose even more money) be careful of these devious scammers, look on indeed.com they are hiring 16 year old workers with “no previous experience” probably why my place was left in a tip and had to get re cleaned

Natalie came to do the cleaning and she did an excellent job, taking the time to make sure everything was done and items were put back carefully and properly. Really appreciate the support! Our cleaner, Debbie, was brilliant. Cleaned to a high standard and was as lovely a person as you could meet. We really appreciated the unnecessary but very welcome small touches that made it feel like the service went above and beyond, like showing an interest in our pets and leaving us a little biscuit when she had finished. When I say this is the best investment I've ever made for myself, I mean it. The price for the quality of service you get is impeccable, especially given how hard everyone at Broom and Bucket works. Booked a end of tendancy deep clean on quite short notice and got fit in the schedule with only 5 days notice. Sian and Holly were very friendly and did a wonderful job. It is a quite expensive, but understandable for a big job like this on short notice.

Abbie was such a kind girl and really polite when speaking with my mum. She took time to speak with her as she done the work. The clean was amazing and it looks so 10x better now. Arrived earlier which was good and she worked super hard to get it done. Will 100% be using again and will hopefully get Abbie back. Apologies if Abbie spells her name another way. But yeah my mum is also super happy with the work completed.

So I’m having to write another review because of the lies told about me by this owner! She’s stated that she offered me a refund etc iv posted the screenshots were iv never asked her for a refund I said I didn’t care about the money she messaged me and said I would not be getting a refund which I wasn’t expecting anyway so that’s the first lie, She’s saying reviews getting wrote by multiple accounts I’m not on social media so my sister copied my message an posted it because it’s true and have the pictures to prove what happened She said I was cruel and threatening??? Iv posted our whole conversation so you can see how much she lies. She thought she would be clever and come on an write a reply and I couldn’t reply, wrong! Il bring receipts a more!!! She also said that the cleaner spent the entire time in the boys room an completely transformed it 😂😂 iv literally posted the pictures of under the bed an the blinds an were she didn’t even do a basic hoover in there room I myself will post the before pics of the kids room I sent her a video so there screenshot of that I asked for a deep clean of there room the girl didn’t even pick things up on there floor just normal basic things I don’t no how they call themselves a cleaning company it’s beyond me and I actually laughed when they said they have the before and after pics of the transformation PLEASE POST THEM!!! I would love to see, This owner is in denial it’s more frustrating that she’s blinded and denying that a clean was done, I sent her everything I sent her the pics I sent her under the bed I even sent her the pics of the stuff still on the floor the pokaman cards etc isn’t that just a general clean so if she spent the entire time in the boys room my question is why does it still look the same explain to me what she was doing all that time, there room is a box room so even if just pretend she cleaned the desk ( there was only games on the desk) for one hour an dusted why does it look the same why is there dust still on the blinds what was she doing? If she spent the entire time cleaning under the bed an it was that bad she couldn’t do no we’re else then why does under the bed look the same??? OWNER REPORTING MY REVIEWS AS ILLEGAL BECAUSE I POSTED PROOF We’re do I even start before I begin this company told me if I leave negative reviews they will take it as I want to proceed to court😂 I got these out spoke to Julie on the phone told her under the kids bed was full of dust and toys I said there room needs a deep clean it’s shocking everywhere else just a general clean, I wasn’t to bothard but just wanted a quick dust hoover an mop all was agreed Sophie came out brought a mop bucket that looked like it had been washing Southport beach I didn’t want to be rude so asked could they use mine the girl started in the kids room there room is a box room yes it was dusty but a hour I could of ripped that out sparkling, she was so quiet I could hear a pin drop I knew nothing was being cleaned so I went up to ask was she ok did she need anything she was just standing in the middle of the room the beds had been changed but all looked the same I tried to make a joke about under the bed she said she hadn’t done it yet so I was confused for a hour what was she doing, there room keep in mind was a deep clean she moved into my room so now 2 hours upstairs an it was so quiet again my husband is questioning what is she doing we’re in the living room downstairs my room is above you can hear absolutely everything our house is like cardboard but there was nothing my room doesn’t have anything in at all I just wanted a hoover mop an quick dust I will attach pictures to show how it was left she didn’t touch the porch living room or kitchen an was gone when I got back the company is beyond frustrating they will say Sophie worked the entire time prioritising the boys room my whole point is if she spent 3 hours in the kids room let’s say them why does it look the same she didn’t even hoover or mop the floor the blinds wasn’t dusted I didn’t expect a miracle worker as she keeps saying just clean the room normal even but it was exactly the same the whole house was the only thing that had been done was beds changed, this company has tried to emotionally blackmail me that she’s a small business owner she’s a mum an bad reviews leave a impact etc but she’s failing to acknowledge that this was a bad job that’s why iv left the review it was never about the money but she’s denying a basic hoover an quick mop is standered cleaning an keeps saying I wanted a deep clean of the whole house We agreed a deep clean of the kids room, let’s forget under the bed ok what about the rest of the room? Since moving home , we been on the search for a new cleaner . We previously used other cleaners/ companies and had not been happy with their standard of cleans . Upon more reach broom and buckets kept appearing with good reviews. We took a look at their website and got in touch . Their prices are very fair and reasonable. We had kaitlyn come to clean our home and the reviews speak volumes . The house was cleaned to a very high standard . It was so nice to walk into a clean tidy home after a busy week at home . If you’re on the fence thinking do we give this company a go … I would say 100%. I’m so glad we found broom and bucket.

I booked a Deep Clean for my entire flat with Broom and Bucket and from the outset found them a very professional and pleasant group of people indeed. Everything went like clockwork. The office keep you well informed every step of the way through the entire process. Gemma and Julie and the others in the office and Katelyn, who did the cleaning, were all very nice and kind to me. The work was very thorough and extremely well done and more than worth the cost. I am absolutely delighted with the work and couldn't be more pleased! I wouldn't hesitate recommending this company to friends and I will be definately booking them again myself for General Cleans at my flat once a month now. Highly recommended indeed. The cleaner did an amazing job in such a short time! The house was spotless, smelled great, and felt truly refreshed. I highly recommend their services!

We booked a deep clean for £268 and paid 50% up front, but the house needed cleaning when they left. We immediately spotted cobwebs, dust and smeared windows. They also managed to scratch the glass fronts to our new ovens, although after initially promising to remedy the damage, they then decided they were not responsible. How do you prove there were no scratches before they came? To be fair, they came back and did more cleaning, accepting that the job was not good, and they offered a 10% discount. When we pressed for a better response for the damage, the friendliness disappeared: they said we had 72 hours to pay the balance or face late fees and legal action. We have reluctantly paid. However, we still have damaged ovens and won’t be using them again. Use this company at your peril!

Their communication was good, but unfortunately the cleaning service was far below our expectations. Despite clearly explaining that we were moving out in a few days and had limited time, they didn’t manage to clean the house properly. There was still visible dust and even rubbish left on the floors. Two rooms were completely untouched, and the doors were left very dusty. The inside of the windows was still covered in dirt and cobwebs. We ended up having to re-clean the entire house ourselves until midnight — with a 4-month-old baby. Very disappointing.

I called broom and bucket to book a one off clean as we'd just moved into the property. That was the precise request I made to the call handler. I was quoted for 4h of clean time, plus oven clean. Two lovely ladies came, and after the 4h, plus an additional 1h.45, only half the house was cleaned, and to a poor standard. The oven was only half cleaned, but they did offered to return to finish. When I questioned the service, I was told that the clean was booked a general clean, which is more light upkeep, rather than deep clean. This was at no point mentioned. Also, why would you as a business agree to book a light upkeep clean for someone who just moved into a property?! The team were lovely, and offered a 10% refund, but the standard was just poor and would not recommend them, nor would I book them again. Please see pictures.

Danielle helped me get booked in with short notice for a start of tenancy deep clean, she was very helpful and discussed all of my needs. On the day, Daisy, Amy and Manny arrived promptly and spent a good few hours cleaning every inch of my apartment while I relaxed at a cafe. They had finished by the time I returned and I was very impressed by the quality of their work. Everything was so clean and tidy I didn’t want to touch anything haha! Will definitely use again :)

Had my new flat deep cleaned today (with carpet cleaning) and I couldn't be happier. I was seriously contemplating renovating the kitchen and replacing sockets and the radiators, but now I am happy with leaving them as is saving me a lot of money. The owner, Danielle, is very nice and she gets back to you right away with your quote very accommodating. There were two staff cleaning, Katilyn and Holly, and they did a great job, and the inspection at the end was done by a third person, Becca, and was all very professional and made sure I was satisfied with the job! Highly recommend this service. I was also keen to get local cleaners to support local businesses.

Broom and Bucket are beyond unprofessional, we left an honest review of their services which you will see below, and they're now on a vendetta to leave poor reviews any possible way on our business. We have proof and evidence of the poor communication and the way they handled our situation from the start if that's the route they want to go down. See below my response to their review of my business It's a shame they can't accept responsibility and obviously think they are always in the right. Look at the most recent reviews excluding our one, they have other poor reviews, they abuse their power of charging cards without permission, whoever is in charge needs a reality check, this is NOT how you run a business. I have proof of the time stamped email of the invoice, and the time stamp of them charging my card without my permission, around 7 hours, when their policy is apparently 72 hours to settle any invoice. Absolutely disgraceful this is. This situation was as simple as basic communication from Broom and Bucket was not very good at all. We asked for basic things from a cleaner, pictures after each clean, we would be sent pictures of half done Cleans or no pictures at all, we had to chase and chase all the time, out of the 5 Cleans you did we only recieved 3 pictures of Cleans. We asked for a break down of prices just to help us understand where they got their figures from never was we not going to pay. However seemed to be too much of a task for this to be done. It started when the guests that checked out had accidentally took some keys that locked the bedroom doors, I told them to get back asap to return them, they did within an hour or so and the cleaner was still there The guests came in to collect things they had left because for some reason they didn't know they had to check out by 11am, which I had told them, so tell us we have 'poor guest management' is false, the booking was arranged by a manager of a contractor and he failed to tell his workers the correct check out time, so these things happen, out of our control. Then the cleaner refused to return because apparently the workers were loud and aggressive, I instantly spoke to the manager saying they need to watch how they act. So, Broom and bucket you don't see ANY of the behind the scenes we did to try and resolve this, yet you did NOTHING to resolve this. You actually lied to us saying someone would return to complete the clean and noone did, leaving us in a bad situation to get it cleaned ourselves when we had other guests arriving, shocking and very unprofessional. We then decided it's best to go our separate ways and wanted to settle the final invoice, we were questioning the payment and wanted a break down and according to your policy we have 72 hours to settle any invoice. Because you had our card on file, and because we questioned the break down, WITHIN 7 HOURS of receiving the invoice, you decided to charge my card around £113 without my permission, not once I repeat not ONCE did I say I wouldn't pay the invoice, we just wanted clarity. Yet you decided to charge my card within 7 hours of sending the invoice, complete abuse of power, you are supposed to be trusted with financial details and honor your own policy of "72 hours to settle invoices" you had no right to do that. This was last week and yet you decide to carry this on. Extremely unprofessional, I genuinely thought it would've been a great partnership seeing that you are supposedly an award winning cleaners, we were really keen honestly. I feel you've taken this personally, at the end of the day, your cleaner left, you didn't arrange for a cleaner to come back and left us in a very difficult situation, you charged my card without my permission that was within the 72 hour time frame I had to settle it.

Really easy booking process and easy to amend dates if needed. Everyone is lovely. Leah is very empathetic and non judgemental which puts you at ease when someone is in your home! The checklist which they provide and use themselves means there isn’t any awkward conversation needed about what is expected to be done - feels like a safe pair of hands. Just leave the professionals to do a professional job. Because I like the standard of work I am in a weekly clean cycle and it just works out really well - if someone is off then another resource covers with no need to change dates my side. Recommend!

Absolutely awful company!!! If i could put no stars i would. This company took money out of my account without my consent. I was sent an invoice at 16.39pm and by 23.30pm after myself questioning the amount all day due to believing to be overcharged i was responded to with the simple answer of 'the amount is correct'. No explanation as to how the amount was so high even though i requested a breakdown a number of times. I got a final message just before 23.30pm simply saying they had decided to take the money out themselves. Their policy is that invoices had to be paid within 72 hours yet we were given 7 hours and because we had questions to ask we were ignored and they took it upon themselves to take it out. I was querying the charges for 2 reasons, 1 being we were charged for half a clean as the cleaner decided to leave half way through and 2 the amount was very high and did not add up to the linen that was washed or the clean that was carried out. They make their own prices up as they go along and always raise it after each clean. Very unprofessional. We have used this company on our Airbnb for the last 3 months and since arranging the first clean there have been nothing but issues. They were very responsive prior to ourselves using them but once the first clean was arranged all communication was very minimal on their part. They would never answer a question i asked about my own property. I was reassured that i would receive pictures after every clean which did not happen. Each occasion i had to ask 3 or 4 times to see pictures of how the property was left to which on one occasion i was sent very blurry images, i was ignored 2 occasions after this and did not receive pictures for either of those cleans and then i received pictures of a dirty house and no clean pictures to follow. I asked for certain amounts of stock to be left depending on the amount of guests we had staying which was completely ignored. They literally did their own thing. My understanding is that they are supposed to be catering to what preferences you have for your own property but with this company that is not the case. Whenever questioned about anything they just ignore the messages, claiming to be 'asleep' Surely this cant be the case on every occasion and at the times i was messaging (between the normal working day hours) I was also told on one occasion when being unhappy with a cleaner 'Leah' leaving our property half cleaned that the issue was that our property is poorly managed. No accountability to their employees unprofessionalism at all. I was promised an 'Award winning cleaning service' when my experience couldn't have been any further from this. If you want a successful business please do not use this company. Appauled by the service we had no choice but to find a cleaning service elsewhere.

This was my first time using Broom and Bucket and Sammy arrived really early on in the allocated arrival time. This was really helpful as I had to put my child down for a nap. She asked me what I wanted/what my priorities were and got straight to work. Being heavily pregnant I explained that I wanted her to focus on things I just cannot do right now. Focused kitchen and bathroom cleans, followed by floors, specifically hoovering and moping. With 20 mins left of the three hours she asked if there was anything else she could do, I asked for the upstairs windows to be cleaned - that was no problem. Sammy did everything I asked of her and I am thrilled to have such a tidy, clean space before I give birth. Would definitely use Broom and Bucket and Sammy again. In fact it’s an almost certainty once I give birth!

Absolutely Terrible - paid them to clean a almost brand new house and they left it so dirty so many people said they did a horrible job from workmen to prospective tenants etc. When I tried to speak to them about it they refused to reply. Don't use them as when you have problems with their cleaners they ignore you and don't respond to you as a customer. Especially if you are not going to be present to inspect it immediately after they finish. I checked the property a few days after and I was shocked at the state. They called me up asking form more money than we agreed, I wanted the place clean so I gave in. Floors were left very dirty and dust was everywhere. It seems their cleaners do know how to use a mop or basic cleaning. They don't respond to customers yet when you leave an honest review they have all the time in the world to respond to it.

My experience with broom and bucket was absolutely amazing - Abbie specifically, deep cleaned our house from top to bottom on her own which took around 7 hours and she was so happy and delightful the whole time. It was an absolute pleasure to have her - she was kind enough to laugh and joke with my gran and keep her company, talking to her whilst she was cleaning. It was so nice to have her and we are so grateful for the clean and service. I would use this company again and can’t thank them enough! :-)

Very poor service. Initial WhatsApp communication was good. However, the standards of the clean do not align with what was offered. Once the job was complete within a few minutes of inspection it was clear the level of service received was nowhere near what was advertised. I opted for an end of tenancy deep clean with the website describing this as “sparkling” and “spotless”, however although there was evidence of a clean, easy to reach areas in every room of the house were not cleaned. I provided photographic evidence of this only to be offered a 10% discount, despite needing to perform a full clean myself after the fact. The customer service was shocking. I was repeatedly told they are an hourly service, despite being quoted a single fee for a “spotless” clean. During the job I was actually asked to sign off on an additional two hours to ensure my needs were met, meaning the quote ended up being higher than planned. This is fine if the end result was as advertised. When this was raised the customer service and subsequent messages were unsatisfactory and rude. We were yet to reach a resolution and the remaining balance was taken form my account, despite having 72hours to settle. The situation could’ve been easily been resolved with proper aftercare but the inflexibility shown was very poor.

I have used Broom and Bucket twice. The first was for a deep cleaning due to a workman creating fine dust throughout the six room house. The two cleaners worked like Trojans for three hours and did a really good job. The most recent cleaning was a simpler basic mop and vacuum job, but again very well done. The single cleaner was also very friendly and did a few extra things I hadn't specified. I plan to use Broom and Bucket again.

Jessica is very prompt and responsive and everything is always efficiently done. Sami is our cleaner and she is fabulous! Her work is spotless and now I feel i can't do without her at all. I highly recommend Broom and Bucket and especially Sami. She doesn't rush, knows exactly what to do and goes out of her way to make sure that everything is perfect. 5 stars. Previous Review: First of all, the response by Dylan was fantastic. I received a call back within 5 minutes of asking for a quote online. Lorraine came to clean the house today and she was excellent. Everything is spick and span and she took her time, did not rush, even though she had come to ours after a big job in town. I had found Broom and Bucket on Google and it was very lucky I did. They even left calming teas for us!!! I also got a great response from Kerry the next day regarding some questions I had. We have had had Lorraine, Rhea and Charlotte and all of them have been great. As a professional cleaning company they are a bit pricier than a self-employed cleaner but you get what you pay for! The actual standard of cleaning is good and the communication from the company is top notch. If even the smallest thing is not 100% they will do everything they can to rectify and make sure you’re happy. Really glad that I found this company!

OMG, seriously amazing! Short timeline request, delivered so much faster than expected. Great response time, but the most impressive was the actual clean itself. Brilliant work carried out the other day from a lad called Josh, who is one of the Broom and Bucket cleaners. Will without a doubt be using this company for my house cleaning again!

It was my first time using broom and bucket and I’m very impressed. The house was left impeccable and I’ll definitely be using them again. The cleaner was called Josh who did my house.

I have had 2 cleaners from Broom & Bucket - Lacey and Lorraine - and they have both been very efficient, worked hard for the full 3 hours and left the house wonderfully clean. Admin is also very efficient and staff are very quick to respond to messages and queries.

Had “Broom and Bucket” today to do a deep clean. Dylan the owner who you speak to when contacting the Co explains everything so well and The 2 girls that came Lorraine and Erin worked so hard and my house has never looked so good- they certainly are dedicated to their job and lovely people. Have never had such a good company and highly recommend. Have now booked a regular clean as so pleased with results. Thank you all -an amazing job.

Really impressed with the service. I have used a couple of other local services before this is definitely the best cleaning service I've found in Liverpool. I requested a deep clean and they got all the nooks and crannies that I would struggle to get myself. They arrived on time and were friendly and professional and didn't seem bothered by my dog greeting them! This was the second time I have used them now and I am now thinking of booking in a fortnightly clean to help me stay on top of it. Working full time doesn't leave me as much time as I'd like to clean myself so it makes a real difference not having to do it all myself. Would absolutely recommend.

Joe did a really good job cleaning my flat. He was friendly and warm, and got on with the clean efficiently. I loved that he came with all of his own products and was able to get on with things independently. I was happy with my clean, but Joe let me know that if I had any worries I could let the company know and they would fix things. Thanks for all your hard work Joe.

First time I've used this company and what a great job they did. The two guys who came were pleasant, hardworking and made a fantastic job of cleaning the house. Ours isn't an easy house to clean either as our retrievers and cockapoo leave muddy paw prints and dog hair this time of year. Very professional company.
