I highly advise against using Bristol Cleaning Solution for your short-term rental. As first-time customers, we experienced a total lack of clear communication and incredibly unprofessional customer service by the owner herself. This included the following issues: * Deficient Onboarding Process: Their onboarding process is highly inconsistent and unnecessarily wastes the client's time. We were instructed to spend hours setting up a Zeevou/Homeaway account, only for them to abandon it the very next day and ask for Airbnb permissions instead. While this company claims to have an onboarding process, they completely failed to familiarise us with their actual operational logistics. As first-time customers, common courtesy dictates simply letting us know before sending a cleaner out to the property. A proper onboarding should set clear expectations and explain how the service works, but that was entirely absent here. * Poor Communication Practices: We did not enjoy being on one end of a chaotic series of ongoing questions and providing the same responses regarding entry codes, property access, and bedding locations over and over again because they simply didn't take the care to read our previous responses. * Unscheduled Visits: Their staff showed up unannounced for a clean we never scheduled. Because they arrived without warning and were understandably denied entry by our concierge, the company chose to penalise us with a waiting fee based entirely on their own operational assumptions. They were fully aware that our concierge needed prior notification for visitors. When we explained that we had not agreed to a cleaning that day, they deflected the blame onto us, stating that we should have read their terms and conditions document (which was dozens of pages long) to understand their procedures. We read most of this and do not recall coming across this policy. A high-quality company that values its customers would have taken two minutes to give a reminder to a new customer, as part of the onboarding process and make their customers aware of their policies moving forward. * Poor Invoicing Practices: They charged us £124.06 with no breakdown of what we were actually being charged for. We were quoted £71.50. When we asked for an itemised list of what was done, this request was ignored by management. * Unprofessional Conduct: We provided constructive feedback on an onboarding process which we felt was insufficient and resulted in the above confusion, yet we were met with denial and avoidance. As an owner, Kimberley should have been willing to take into consideration our concerns and have the integrity to evaluate where processes can be improved. Instead, we were told they are too busy with "over 200 cleans today" to assist—meaning they prioritise maximising profit over listening to and solving client complaints. To make matters worse, Kimberley abruptly removed her own staff members from our shared group chat mid-conversation after learning there was a problem. * Misleading Laundry Services & Policies: We explicitly requested to use our own linens. Instead of clearly stating that they do not wash a client's existing linens, they copied and pasted a reply offering a "laundry pack" without clarifying this meant bringing in linens from offsite. Rather than apologising for the poor communication, the owner falsely claimed she had already explained this policy clearly to me over the phone. This isn't the kind of company that takes pride or care in what they do, or makes you feel valued as a customer. Save yourself the headache and find a cleaning service that values transparent communication, appreciates client feedback, and treats its customers professionally.

Terrible communication. We booked this clean and messaged about use of our hoover as we have wool carpets. The cleaners never replied to confirm they had received our messages and didnt answer the phone. We received multiple confirmation texts for the clean and then cleaner never turned up. When we tried to call there was no answer and then eventually the phone did start ringing and they just hung up. We had to chase for a refund too... I would avoid these cleaners.

So disappointed with this company. I paid for a 4 hour clean of my flat (and it's expensive) - and the cleaner only did two hours. She told me I could tell the company and get the other 2 hours back for my next clean- which I did ask for. And now they say there is no evidence they only did 2 hours. The communication has been really poor - I have had to ask multiple times. And they are only offering a 10 percent discount out of 'good will'. What good will? It's my money!!!!! It's a 2 bed flat - obviously these cleaners didn't need 4 hours. Just ask the friggin cleaner!!!!! So disappointed. I never write bad reviews. I do not reccomend.

Unfortunately very disappointed with this company. Initially the cleaners didn't turn up at the time I booked - they claimed I had booked at 10am even though all my confirmation was for 9am. They also went to the wrong address, I hadn't put a postcode when I booked but instead of asking me to confirm they just used the street address and were in the wrong part of Bristol. When they did arrive I was surprised that booking 6 hours of cleaning was interpreted as 2 cleaners for 3 hours. We booked a deep clean and were pretty specific about what we wanted, showing them a list which they took photos of. When we arrived back to the house within the 3 hours they were stood outside chatting to our neighbours, so they didn't clean for the time we booked for. They covered a few things on the list, but not the main things we asked for and overall the clean was pretty surface level and not the deep clean we paid for. I tried to query this with the company and saw a message from the cleaner asking what I was "moaning about". Since then they haven't responded directly to my concerns. Overall feels like a waste of a huge amount of money as my regular cleaner could have done the same job in 2 hours.

Cleaners did a good job once they arrived however communication from the office was poor. Booked a deep clean online which was super easy and they got in contact in the days leading up to my booked slot which was great. However on the morning of the clean no one arrived for over an hour after my scheduled time (I drove over an hour to meet them there and let them in as I don’t live in the house - which they knew from previous communication). I tried calling the number I had been given several times and got no answer. Assumed they were not coming at that point and carried on with my day. Cleaners turned up over an hour late. Office called me back later in the day to tell me the cleaners should be there and was borderline rude to me on the phone. Would probably use somewhere else in future based off the lack of communication despite a good cleaning job.

This was a clean as we are moving and the cleaners did a really good job. They managed to get to the bits that hadn't been done due to furniture being there. But everything looks good and clean.

Really thorough clean - am rebooking for another job soon. The cleaning team were also very friendly and professional, as were the office.

The general clean was ok for the price. But this company is to be avoided. They sent someone to clean the carpet without the correct equipment, training, and product. The result - a carpet that was damp, which stank of chemicals, and which a week later I had to remove. The managers refused to accept liability, terrible communication throughout. AVOID.

I booked Cleaning Solution for 2 cleanings, one before we moved into a property and one end of tenancy clean. They took 3 weeks to send me a confirmation email which should have been a red flag. After multiple ignored texts and unanswered calls, they finally sent me a confirmation email. Their prices were competitive, but it seems that maybe the company is run poorly from elsewhere whilst subcontracting out to cleaners. The cleaners did a good job on the first property, but the carpet cleaner (also subcontracted, also said he struggled to get hold of the company) failed to arrive and we had to reschedule, which took more poor communication. Today, they were meant to come to the second property for the end of tenancy clean. I sent messages last night to double check but received no reply. They did not arrive to do the clean today, failed to answer messages and didn't pick up the phone. Avoid if you want a stress free cleaning completed.

My workplace requires a deep clean due to staff members testing positive for COVID. I phoned Kimberly and she was really helpful and arranged for a deep clean of the whole building to be carried out within a couple of days. Her team did an amazing job, were completely thorough, efficient and professional. Would not hesitate to use them again and cannot recommend highly enough. Their pricing is also very very competitive.

Not only did they turn up on time, provide all their own cleaning materials but the cleaner did an outstanding job. I trusted them to clean and slam the door behind them as I left the area, they delivered as promised and sent me photos when finished to show me the spotless flat.
