M K H Carpentry & Joinery

Mark is a master cabinet maker and a very pleasant chap to boot. He built bespoke book shelves for my library including a separate armoire. He has also built a display cabinet and unit, with a fitted desk for my son's room and built a three drawer unit with adjustable hanging space in my daughter's wardrobe. His work is of a very high quality. He listens to what you need, gives designs and offers good advice. Recommend. ✔️✴️

The work was completed to a very high standard and exceeded our expectations. The attention to small details as well as expert guidance on what would work best was superb. We would not hesitate to use Mark again and would highly recommend him.

Fantastic! Cannot recommend highly enough! MKH Carpentry has undertaken 4 major 'commissions' for us (so far!): building a replica fire surround to mimic an exisiting marble structure; designing and fitting alcove shelving and cupboards in an Edwardian living room; building a customised platform bed with storage in a previously believed 'impossible' box room, and installing personalised wardrobes and cuboards in our awkwardly-shaped loft conversion. They are a pleasure to work with, and produce beautiful and wonderfully functional carpentry.

Mark at MKH Carpentry and Joinery has completed a number of jobs for us, and all have been to a brilliant standard. Two built-in wardrobes, a window seat, understairs storage cupboards, built-in bookcases and cabinets, and eaves storage. From the design process to finishing touches, Mark is a true professional and I would have no hesitation recommending him to others. Our go to joiner!

We first came across Mark a good few years ago when we wanted fitted drawers and wardrobes doing in an eaves bedroom. I drew a quick sketch of cupboards above and drawers below with some photos of the room and Mark came back with a CAD drawing which was exactly what we wanted. We booked him and he did the job for us. We were thrilled. When we had a loft conversion done some years later and wanted a run of cupboards in the bedroom that became the landing, including an office cupboard in the middle, there was only one person we were going to ask. Again, I outlined what I wanted, we had a bit of a chat via email and we came up with a design which Mark built and fitted. Subsequently he has done us a built in cupboard in an alcove in the bathroom and also a bespoke door for the under stairs cupboard. Mark is a really nice bloke, I am more than happy to have in my house with the family around. The guy that fitted my doors took one look at Mark's work and said enviously 'That guy's good'.
