Robert Rose Carpentry Limited

Well made bed, amazing communication and effortless delivery. Highly recommended. Many thanks 👍

Could not rate Stuart and the team highly enough! Very communicative, answered all of my questions before placing an order and provided accurate details on timeline and delivery. We ordered some wooden room dividers for a home office/gym and they’re absolutely beautiful! Very high quality, easy to install and finish the room perfectly

Had an incredible custom made stair gate for really tricky steps in our flat. We knew we needed a stair gate but had no idea how to make a conventional one work. Stu from Robert Rose came up with this genius idea. So so happy with the end result. Thank you so much!

Very pleased with the gaming table we purchased. Table is sturdy, well made, beautiful to look at and exactly what we wanted. Staff all helpful and provided excellent service throughout all communication.

Really helpful team, sorted me out really quickly!

Ordered a board game/dining table and it did not disappoint. A beautiful table and perfect for board games/puzzles. Also experienced excellent service throughout as I was kept updated and they really went out of their way to get the table finished and delivered for us before we were hosting an event. Faultless from start to finish

This review is a little late but still very relevant! I had great support and patience from the team in designing and then manufacturing the custom desk I needed and wanted, great service and contact throughout the process, it was delivered on time and was well cared for throughout. Assembly was simple, and well explained. The quality of the build, materials, and staining etc is brilliant. I cannot recommend the team here enough and will be going back with other projects!

Great Products, good price

We ordered a table and benches and are super happy with them! Amazing quality. Excellent customer service too and delivery guys were super helpful and professional. Will definitely order from the company again!

Amazing quality! We ordered the Benjamin room divider and are really super happy with it, it's beautifuly made and Stuart communicated very clearly at every step of the process. 10/10 highly recommend

Very happy with our Wooden Room Dividers. They are good quality and well made. The ordering was easy and Robert Rose stayed in touch to make sure all was as we wanted. Very happy, would recommend.

This is a lovely piece of furniture which looks amazing in my lounge. From start to finish the attention to detail and customer service from Stuart has been excellent. I would highly recommend.

I have just received a custom headboard. It is absolutely fabulous and I am so delighted with it. Beautiful wood and colour to perfection…I couldn’t be happier. Good price, great communication and delivery too. Thanks so much guys. X☺️

Great customer service, prompt delivery as scheduled. Happy customer 😎

We were delighted with the bespoke furniture we bought from Robert Rose Carpentry. The whole process was first class - from working with Stuart to provide our requirements, through to receiving and putting together our beautiful furniture! Highly recommend and I'm sure we'll be using Robert Rose again in future!

I ordered the Rustic Desk Corner Two Board Mitre desk with under-desk cupboard as I really liked the look and the option to customise the size and finish to fit my room. The desk arrived well packaged and was straightforward to assemble. Stuart kept me updated throughout the process, and we agreed on a delivery time since you need to be home when it arrives. The desk is excellently made and feels like a solid piece of furniture. There’s plenty of space for my two screens and PC tower. I’m very happy with it and would definitely buy from this company again.

We would recommend to anyone! We absolutely love our new headboard! The quality and colour we're even better than expected, it has given our bedroom the character it previously lacked and we couldn't be happier! Stuart was great too, keeping us well informed throughout!

Fantastic furniture, I love the table, it looks great, I’m really pleased with it, 100 % recommended and great customer service aswell.

I recently purchased a custom gaming table from Robert Rose Carpentry, and it's honestly transformed how we play games in our household. The craftsmanship is exceptional – sturdy, rustic, and clearly made with care. The solid wood gives it real presence in the room, while the design is thoughtful and highly practical. The recessed play area is a game-changer. It allows us to keep games set up securely, which is perfect for longer campaigns or sessions we can’t finish in one sitting – especially useful with kids around! When not in use, the table leaves can be placed over the top, instantly converting it into a regular dining or activity table. This flexibility means we don’t have to sacrifice space or risk pieces getting knocked over. We visited the workshop before ordering, and everyone was really friendly and helpful. It gave us the chance to review the wood stain and insert options in person, which made us feel confident in our choices. After delivery, Stuart worked with us to resolve a few niggles, and the end result is absolutely perfect. I added the optional rail system and under-table storage, which has been fantastic for keeping the table leaves tucked away neatly. After that, I picked up four cupholders, which have been surprisingly handy - great for drinks, snacks, or storing dice. I also purchased the matching benches. They are very comfortable, not too heavy to move around, but sturdy and well-built. The internal storage fits several board games and helps keep the space tidy between sessions. All in all, the table and benches are functional, beautifully made, and ideal for families who love board games but also need flexible living space. Highly recommended.

We absolutely love our Reclaimed Room Divider | THE GEORGINA! It looks fantastic, and we’re really impressed with the quality. The customer service was amazing—friendly, helpful, and responsive throughout. I would highly recommend Robert Rose – an excellent UK small business, doing beautiful work. K from Milton Keynes

Stuart and the team really pulled out all the stops to deliver our new bench on time for our summer party. Lots of admiring glances and enquiries on where we got it!

I purchased 3 custom made benches. Each one was custom. All 3 were perfect. Super easy to put together. Each bench was assembled in the factory, taken apart and shipped. All I had to do is line up the screw hole and put in the screws. Easy! Shipping to the U.S.A. was reasonable and fast. Packaging was excellent.

Smashing table built to our own specifications by Stuart. Really pleased with the finished item. Exactly what we were looking for. Came in 3 separate bits with the appropriate allen key. Simple to put together and very sturdy. Many thanks.

Excellent product, excellent service. We contacted RRC before ordering and our questions were answered very quickly. We got the delivery and have put up the partition and it looks amazing. Thank you so much.

Great quality wooden room dividers. Love the fact that they were from reclaimed wood and looked so stylish with the finish that had been applied. Fantastic service and bespoke height for my wonky ceilings. Thank you Would definitely recommend x

Very helpful company. I bought a 1.5m round table. The table is perfect. Exactly what I was looking for. Was delivered when they said it would be. Can’t recommend them enough.

Working with Stuart at Robert Rose carpentry was amazing - we created a bespoke room divider for our office, as well as some corner shelves. They were honestly so so helpful with colour for the wood, sizes etc and drew us mock ups of what the shelves would look like which was super helpful. The shelves were also much cheaper than we could get on etsy and we knew 100% that they would fit so was awesome! The office now looks way better than our gym so having to make that look nice now too haha. Thank you :)

Stuart and the team were incredibly helpful, making the entire process seamless. Ordering wood online can be challenging, but they provided samples to help us find the perfect colour and designed the wall dividers to fit flawlessly. Excellent service—I highly recommend them!

Good communication from Stuart via email answering all my queries. Dividers arrived earlier than estimated and were of good quality and finish.

Fantastic service and delivery and the quality/craftsmanship of our new bed is incredible! We will definitely be purchasing again when we need more furniture and would highly recommend!

I havent erected my wall dividers as yet, but the excitment of doing so feels great, they are absolutely beautiful and so much better in life, well worth the wait .

I spoke to Stuart and asked him to make me a whiskey barrel with a larger top than normal and we agreed a price, I was quoted a 3 week delivery and at exactly 3 weeks i got notification from the delivery company that my barrel would be delivered 2 days later, i was over the moon. When my barrel arrived as promised Stuart had packaged the top separately as I knew it was going to struggle getting through the front door, the drivers placed my barrel in the desired room (just fitted, phew) and I got to work on putting the lid on, the screws were also provided. After a bit of alignment it was good to go. Stuart this is a masterpiece I am so delighted with it, it is much better than I imagined and already I have had really positive feedback from my recent visitors. If you are looking for hand made quality and outstanding service ROBERT ROSE CARPENTRY is the only place to go. I am sure that i will be using these master craftsmen again in the future thank you so much BRILLIANT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've ordered 10 room dividers from Robert Rose Carpentry, painted in white. The order was submitted on the 2nd of November. I received the order on the 12th of December: perfectly on time for Christmas. Unfortunately, when I opened the box, I saw that the quality of the items was terrible. They looked like a 3-year child had painted them (attached some pics). I immediately contacted Robert Rose and they said "this looks like a relatively easy fix with a bit of touch up paint" and they offered a small refund for the inconvenience. I think that nobody should ever receive a product that requires a bit of touch up paint after the delivery. Since I couldn't be bothered to send them back at my own expenses (they are very heavy and Robert Rose did not offer to send somebody to collect them), I accepted the refund. After on month, nothing has been refunded to my bank account. I don't think I should be the one to chase them. The mistake is on their side. Overall not a good experience: the idea of the dividers is great but not the quality of the product.

I was looking for some made to measure, wooden, dividing room slats, which could be fitted without any drilling or screwing, alongside a very specific colour match. I contacted Robert Rose from the internet without prior knowledge of the company, something I don’t normally do, I prefer dealing with companies that are either recommended to me or I have some prior knowledge of. What a stroke of luck! From initial contact to finally receiving the slats the entire experience was a joy. Every question was responded to quickly and everything discussed was fully realised. My wooden slats are beautiful, the colour perfect and are currently in situ without being drilled or screwed. Stuart was my contact throughout I can’t praise him or the company more. Rest assured this is a first class company who takes very good care of its customers.

Absolutely brilliant service….. great communications, flexible and genuinely willing to facilitate the best experience for me. FedEx delivered who arrived on time! The room dividers were exactly as expected, cut to the correct size and were easy to install. I am delighted and wouldn’t hesitate to use Stuart and his team again. ‘Well played’!!

An excellent service from start to finish. Stuart was exceptionally helpful with advice and our order was completed and delivered over a week early. Superb craftsmanship and the dividers were sent well packaged and very easy to install.Would highly recommend this company.

Superb quality and service. Stuart will check all the details of your order (which is so important with bespoke or semi bespoke designs) and keep you updated with progress right up to the delivery date. What you see on the photos is what you get in the flesh. Highly recommended!

We ordered a ladder shelf for our house in Venice. The result was amazing and even better than our expectation. Everything was perfect, the shelf fit perfectly and also the shipment went smoothly even if the destination was quite difficult to reach.

Love the natural look. Nice and easy functionality to fit the divider wall panels. Fantastic support and responsiveness from Stuart and team. Very happy customer 😀

Went out of their way to accommodate my request, and the finished product was perfect. Love you!

Very happy with product and service - they look great

Really pleased with our dining table. Stuart & the team were very professional and listened to our needs. They made a bespoke pedestal for it as well. We visited the workshop and chose the stain which matched our existing chairs perfectly. A job well done!

Excellent quality products at a very reasonable price. I will definitely be buying from Robert Rose again. Can't recommend highly enough.

Really pleased with the room dividers and service. Thank you very much

Very happy with our new gaming table, it's solid and robust (glad I opted to have the legs as removable, I don't think it would have fit through the door otherwise!). Each of the four "leaves" fit together nicely. We purchased a plastic cover to go under the table cloth to help protect any spillages from reaching the baize mat. We have had a couple of games on it already and it has the cat's approval for comfort. Communication with the company was good throughout. Would recommend for board gaming enthusiasts!

Wife and I are very happy with our purchase. It made our place very cosy and yet elegant! Stuart has been very helpful as well. He made sure we got the items in time! Thank you so much! And definitely we will order again for future house projects!

Beautiful wooden room dividers - highly recommend!

Fantastic service, my new desk is exactly as described, Stuart and the team kept me informed throughout the process, finally the delivery was seamless.

Absolutely stunning . Strongly advise if you’re looking for high quality products and exceptional service !

I'm so pleased with these room dividers—they’re exactly what I wanted! The quality is superb, with careful attention to detail. Stuart was incredibly responsive and took the time to understand my needs, answering all my questions along the way. I have an open-plan living and kitchen area, and these dividers have made the space so much cosier and comfortable. I'll definitely be ordering more to complete the look! So thankful for these beautiful dividers—thank you! Keep up the great work!

Love it! Great service and fab product - very happy.

Ordered room partition - lovely product, just what we were looking for. Customer service was excellent! - Stuart got in touch to confirm sizes and delivery, then kept me up top date with progress right up until delivery was received.

I couldn't be happier with my purchase of wooden slats to separate my open floor living room and kitchen. Stuart was hugely helpful throughout the process, sharing timely and relevant information to help me pick out the right items/color, creating these to size, and providing further support after delivery to ensure that I was able to properly mount the slats. I'm very grateful for both his service and the beautiful product!

Stuart was so easy to get information from and discuss what we wanted on our order. We ended up ordering an amazing table and 2 benches. The goods came on time, with easy delivery and overall the whole process was so easy. I have now ordered more items from the company.

Ordered a room divider and Stuart couldn't have been more helpful. I changed mind about dimensions and he was so accomodating. Craftsmanship was fantastic, approval from my 85 year old joiner father is hard to win! Great experience. Absolutely would order from them again.

So happy with our purchase! Great customer service and fantastic communication. The shelving unit arrived quickly and we are thrilled with it. Excellent quality and brilliant craftmanship. Lovely to have an original, 'non mass produced' piece of furniture in our kitchen. Many thanks.

Instantly changes the space. Moved into a new home and preordered the room dividers and had them painted in black. Quick delivery, very well packaged and easy to install. Need some little amount of adjusting, when they settle to the temperature of the house. Easily removable also, if want a change. From the photos you can see WOWness of the dividers. Simple and effective.

Ordered partition, lovely product and very helpful customer service!

Fantastic carpenter and fantastic service. Stuart is a pleasure to deal with and the quality of his products are amazing. Would not hesitate to recommend or use again in the future!!

I am very happy with the room dividers I ordered from Robert Rose Ltd, after an initial chat with Stuart to confirm what I wanted, to supply them in a bespoke length I placed the order with him.The dividers arrived promptly by a courier who even carried them into the house for me. The quality is excellent and they look great in my home.

I liked the look of one of Stuart's desks which I found online, however it would not fit the space I had. Stuart was very happy to make a bespoke desk to fit my measurements within the same timeframe. He was very easy to communicate with and was always happy to help. When the desk arrived it was very well made and exactly to spec. Would definitely use again. Thanks

I ordered a largeish corner desk for my home office as I liked the look of the minimal industrial style and hoped it'd be better manufacturered than the cheap wobbly amazon thing I'd been using previously. I had no issues with the process, it took a few weeks to make the thing which was fine. Communication with Stuart was straight forward and was delivered when I asked. I've had the desk for a few days now, and I'm very pleased with both the look, finish and build quality. Easy to assemble on my own and very sturdy. Smells nice too.

Ordered the two panel corner desk and both superb quality on the product and excellent, responsive customer service. Would buy from them again without hesitation and highly recommend.

Anyone looking for beautifully crafted, bespoke and unique pieces of furniture, I can wholeheartedly recommend Robert Rose Carpentry Limited for their professionalism and attention to detail. I had been searching (fruitlessly) for a very specific size cabinet to house a large silk screen laser printer which would allow me to use it, but at the same time, keep it tucked away leaving me a workable surface above to print from. Bingo! I sent a sketch and dimesions to Stuart Shaw and bang on the day he predicted delivery would be, my gorgeous new work island arrived. I am so chuffed with it, I have to keep going and having a look and stroking its beautifully finished boards. I'd give them 10 stars if I could!

I was looking for a new office desk that had personality and style. This desk definitely fits the bill. It is so well made and the service was very good.

Robert Rose Carpentry did an incredible job with our new dining table and bench, and at a great price. I would recommend them to anyone.

Great communication, delivered on time, and the quality of their work is great.

We placed an order of 11 industrial desks for our new office. They delivered on the day planned and also boosted the production speed for us to minimise the lead time. Good communication and always gets back to you. The product is of really high quality and wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Very pleased with the desk and optional laptop stand. Really good quality, heavy duty desk, looks the part! Delivery was also good with communication from Simon who we found to be very professional and helpful. If you are thinking about ordering, just do it! You won’t be disappointed.

Can't recommend highly enough, don't hesitate to use this company and I will likely be returning in the future for additional items. Thank you very much RRC, keep up the cracking work!

Excellent service and product. Once I explained what I wanted Stuart liaised with me and modified the standard room divider product to suit my needs, cutting and finishing the timber to my exact specifications. I needed some unique timber for a focal point on our staircase and Robert Rose had timber with the right look and the correct dimensions. I would have no hesitation using Robert Rose again for future projects. The finished job has been well admired.

Found these guys online and had precisely what I was looking for. Top quality product supported by great communication and service. Would highly recommend

I recently received my Richmond desk and I couldn’t be happier! It’s a beautiful piece of furniture, really well made and a cool design. It’s extremely solid and heavy! Stuart provided excellent communications through the ordering and delivery of the desk and he was happy to accommodate any customisations. With wood you have to expect imperfections but it’s these minor imperfections that really make the desk perfection for me - a one off piece which I’m proud to own. I would not hesitate to order from Robert Rose Carpentry again and I would happily recommend to others.

From start to finish Robert Rose Carpentry & Furniture helped me design my desk and shelves for my new home office. They were patient persistent and creative in coming up with what I needed. Would highly recommended them First Class Craftsman

Table was beautifully made and delivered sooner than expected. Really lovely quality and RRC went above and beyond to meet my specific requirements.

I've had several pieces of furniture made now by this business and everytime they have been amazing, great communication, and amazing quality furniture that look great

These guys are running a tight ship and it shows: they responded swiftly to my enquiries, listened carefully to my requirements. They were flexible, delevered when promised and the product looks fabulous. I recommend this business unreservedly! Many thanks to Stuart and his team!

A professional team who are extremely knowledgeable and friendly. They designed a custom item for me and built it with high quality. Highly recommended.

I love my desk, thank you! The build quality is of high standard, the desk is very sturdy and it looks great. Perfect for my home office setup and made to the exact specs I sent. Thank you :) Delivery was on time too, and the desk was very easy to mount and fix to the legs.

This re-claimed wood desk from Robert Rose Carpentry was the perfect compliment to our room with a view. Our experience with Stuart for this project was seamless. Our desk needed to be a custom size to fit the corner of the room. All of our questions, thoughts and ideas were promptly responded to in a timely manner. We could not be more thrilled with the outcome. Thank you Stuart, for all your help.

Excellent quality product and a great firm to deal with.

Good communication and desk was perfect. Delivery on time too

We were in contact via email with Stuart expressing exactly what we wanted in regards to a fish tank cabint and hood and although they hadn't made one before they were happy to make this for us. Stuart was great through out the discussions and made sure we both understood each other before starting the build. I will admit at first I thought the price was higher than I was expecting but having seen the dedication and quality of the build I can understand the cost. This will last for many years to come and I would highly recommend this company and would definitely use them again. Thanks again Lee

Great communication, very responsive and super helpful - The desk I ordered turned up early which I am very grateful for, its perfect, great quality and delivered with respect and consideration (plenty of notice to prepare). I would recommend Robert Rose Carpentry to everyone. Special thanks to Stuart, who has been very helpful and made sure my order was perfect and checked in after delivery to make sure all was okay. Great customer service, thanks.

Found this place online, as I do like a bit of reclaimed wood furniture. Really happy with the 2 bedside tables that I ordered, they are exactly as requested, they look great and the draws are smooth. The order was fulfilled quickly. The admin could have been a bit slicker, but this is very minor point as they are very responsive and courteous when contacted and eager to please. I am a happy customer who will look to use them again.

High quality, bespoke room dividers, excellent service (especially Stuart), timely delivery, quality aftercare. Would highly recommend!

We looked for a long time for a new desk for our study. Robert Rose Carpentry was our choice, based on feedback of the quality and workmanship of their range. Stuart was very responsive and was able to provide us with a bespoke piece of furniture at a reasonable and fair price. Well done, I can certainly recommend this Company

Amazing custom quality and industrial design style. I ordered some custom office furniture from Robert Rose in the Summer and I couldn't sing their praises highly enough. Not only do I love it but all my customers, friends and colleagues who see it love it too! I ordered an L-shaped desk, a 3 drawer unit and two sets of shelving - one set custom mounted on the desk and the other mounted on the floor. These were adapted from the kitchen shelves they advertise. Althought he scaffolding makes the shelves heavy, they look the business and are really solid. Stuart was so helpful throughout, confirming the dimensions of my amateur drawings and advising on what was possible and the courier they use was really helpful. And so much alue for money! If you could get these from John Lewis (and you can't) they would have cost 2-3 times the amount I paid.

I was after a new bigger desk and had Robert Rose on my radar for a little while.Their industrial look to the desk is really good and it is very sturdy. I went for the Danish oil finish and so pleased with it. Highly recommended.

Very professional business, communication was great & the shelving unit looks looks lovely in the office.

Engaged RobertRose to create a bespoke desk. Loved the look of the furniture they create and that it is up-cycled materials. The end to end process was perfect and I had complete confidence in what was happening. Turnaround was exactly as agreed. What arrived is a beautifully put together piece of furniture that has exceeded my expectations. Assembly required 2 people due to the size of the desktop but, other than that, it was very quick and simple. I cannot recommend highly enough!!

Brilliant responsive service. Extremely good quality products. Would highly recommend to anyone.

We used Robert Rose Carpentry a few months ago and could not recommend them highly enough! Their service was seamless and when contacting them we received quick responses from friendly members of staff and the quality of the products is fantastic.

I have a coffee table built at Robert Rose (pictured). Its sturdy and looks fantastic in the room. I have the Jacobean finish and the table is 120cm x 3 boards wide for reference.

I'm really pleased with my new office desk, which was custom made to size. So easy to assemble & very good aftercare service to check that everything was to my satisfaction.

I was really happy with the integrated desk and shelves I purchased from Robert Rose. It was absolutely perfect for my new flat. I found Robert Rose online - their reclaimed furniture was exactly what I was looking for. I contacted them and they were friendly, helpful, and responsive. They helped me to design a custom-made desk and shelves that fit perfectly into my living space. So if you have something very particular in mind, I definitely recommend speaking to them about a custom-made solution. The items were delivered and assembled easily and I am absolutely thrilled with them. I'll definitely use Robert Rose again.

Really pleased with the table provided and Stuart kept me up to date throughout the process!!

Stuart and the team were superb from beginning to end. From the moment i first saw the L-shaped desk on their Etsy store i knew i needed one! And i am so glad i did and also chose to get the shelving too. They are superbly built, great craftsmanship, and look amazing if you are into that Industrial style. Very substantial and heavy, these are built to last! I had some custom tweaks i was after and Stuart was able to accommodate them with no problems whatsoever as well as advise a few things along the way. I could not recommend them enough! Thanks guys.

Thank you Stuart for the lovely side table I bought for my husband's birthday. We both love it. It's great that you use recycled wood and the quality is excellent. Delivery was earlier than expected, and the item+delivery was well priced. Many thanks!

Thank you so much Stuart, it was an absolute pleasure dealing with you. We are so happy with our new desks. Would highly recommend you to anyone. 5 * Service & 5 * Products. Thank you so much! Matt
