We started on our journey with Matrod Frampton in 2022. Andrew Etchingham, Alan Ball, Dan White, Richard Hansen have worked with us throughout our project, to deliver our dream home. Our experience of Matrod Frampton has been excellent, first listening to our needs, then dealing with the architects and building control and finally as our main contractor and managing the site during the build phase, until we finally took ownership. Despite our ambitions for the total site, we were not a 'grand design' disaster, quite the opposite. During the build the project ran smoothly and within timescales. Yes, there were challenges and a few stressful moments along the way, all managed calmly, professionally and without drama, especially by our site manager, Dan. Since we have moved in the home has more than met our expectations and Matrod Frampton has always been available when needed and have resolved any snagging issues quickly and without fuss. The results speak for themselves, 2025 Best Individual New Home in the UK at the prestigious LABC Awards at the Grosvenor, Park Lane! Thank You to the whole Matrod Frampton team.
From the moment we were introduced to the Matrod team there was an overwhelming air of professional confidence, honesty and experience that made us feel utterly confident in their ability to handle and deliver our build. In the following nine months nothing made us doubt our decision. The build was handled by an extremely competent team, professional and able, with an excellent eye for detail. The site was exceptionally well run and kept tidy, always with consideration for our neighbours. In a large build there are always unforeseen problems, however well you plan. The site manager and project manager always had a suggestion for a solution, nothing fazed them and every solution was budget aware with alternatives offered if needed. This lead to us being supremely relaxed that everything was always considered and in control. Matrod completed our home on time and to an agreed budget. Snagging has been timely, minimal and without question. Finances were transparent and always available and explained. This is an exceptional firm of delightful, experienced, knowledgable professionals, who delivered us a stress free dream house. We are, and will remain, eternally grateful.
Matrod Frampton have been a fantastic company to work with. They recently completed one of our private house projects, and are in the process of building another of our designs. Their staff are professional and personable, making the construction process both successful and enjoyable. They take a pragmatic approach to problems, and work collaboratively with us and other consultants, as well as making sure that the clients are kept well informed and feel part of the build process.
