Waring & Co Renovations

Very friendly company, keeping us informed throughout the building work. Very thorough and professional, with a real passion for the restoration of our older property. We will be using them again.

Can’t speak highly enough of the work done by Warings on our roof, chimney and top floor. From the first visit and quote all the communication was brilliant from Lee,Ash and Jemma. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them and we will be using them agin soon.

Excellent work, great friendly workers, clean and tidy after a job, good advice given, very helpful. Highly recommend them

I first asked Waring Building and Roofing to instal a couple of velux windows. The job was speedily and efficiently done. So I then asked them to design and instal an upstairs toilet in what was effectively little more than a cupboard. I was rapidly given a breakdown of all that was required and a firm price. After my acceptance of their terms, the firm went into swift action while I sat back and let it happen: scaffolding, building regs, new window, plumbing, electric, plastering, decorating, skirting-board, sliding door to match the others on the landing - everything smoothly executed without my lifting a finger. Carpet, furniture and book-shelves were protected by plastic sheeting all the time. The result is a triumph of the builder's art, from which I have gratefully benefited.

I had been trying for 3 weeks to get a local plasterer to fill some holes left after new sockets , switches were repositioned in my kitchen . After one quick phone call on Tuesday morning to Jemma at Warings , the work was completed the following day . I didn’t expect such prompt service or that they would agree to do a small job . The access to my house is difficult with no vehicular access . The level of workmanship was excellent and I am delighted to be able to move on to the final stages of decorating. Highly recommended .

We highly recommend Waring Building & Roofing Ltd. The work they have completed in replacing a window extremely high up on the roof of our cottage is excellent. The communication with Jemma has been amazing and welcome to keep us informed. Ash, Lee & team visited, took drone images & shared images of the repairs that needed doing. They kindly sent us 'before & after images'. The team are polite, courteous & friendly which for us as customers is perfect. We highly recommend this Whitby company 100%. Actually words cannot describe how pleased we are with the service we received. Highly recommend A********

Did a superb and efficient repointing and lead work job on our Georgian house in Whitby.

A very big thank you to the Warings team for the excellent work carried out adding an extension to the rear of our house. From the outset of the project discussing the various options, to confirming the action plan and through the entire process, the Warings team worked professionally and with extra care. We were kept informed at each stage and consulted with. Warings also worked collaboratively with our architect and NYCC on our behalf. Warings team members were courteous and respectful working to a very high standard at every stage. We would not hesitate to recommend Warings and look forward to working with the team again in the future.

Warings really helped me out when I got let down by another firm, they were brilliant. I’m in love with my new bedroom and bathroom. Really easy to work with, clean and tidy and they crack on with the job in hand. Great communication and standard of work. Would highly recommend.

Fantastic response to leaking roof issues during our roof replacement. Jemma as a first responder has been so positive and helpful with quick attention to issues. It's so refreshing to get real action from a phone call. Thank you so much. Mark and Lesley

Great bunch of lads. Very capable and a job well done

The team have replaced a storm damaged bathroom velux window and replastered the ceiling - very professional and fantastic to deal with from start to finish - thank you so much

We had our living room ceiling replastered. From start to finish the service has been excellent. Contact with the company, providing estimates, completing the work in a timely fashion and the standard of finish have all been outstanding.

A very busy and efficient company giving friendly and helpful assistance. Despite it being a very busy period with storms causing problems they managed to assess the problem of water ingress, treat and complete the remedial work efficiently.

Waring Building & Roofing carried out a full kitchen refurb and associated building works in our house to a great standard. The work was done promptly and communication and advice from Lee was excellent throughout. Would deffo recommend. Our thanks to Lee, Ash and the team.

Waring building and roofing Ltd have recently replaced some tiling to our roof. The firm were straightforward to deal with and reasonably priced the completed work was done to a high standard and therefore we have no hesitation in recommending this building firm and certainly will use them again should ever a need arise.Thank you Jemma and Marc for your friendly and efficient service

Waring building and roofing have been an absolute lifesaver for us. We had used a smaller building outfit to do some roof work in 2019. Shortly after, an upstairs room developed a leak. The original builders had a go at rectifying it and told us the problem was a rotting window. It wasn’t. After a number of years just tolerating the leak I asked Ash and Lee to investigate. Using drone footage they were able to explain to me exactly what the problem was, what was needed to fix it and provided a very reasonable quote. Best of all, they were so responsive and quickly inspired trust. The work was booked in, carried out with no fuss and my roof is now fixed and peace of mind restored. I really can’t recommend Waring building and roofing highly enough.

Contacted them on Saturday about a slipped tile on our roof not expecting to hear back until mid week. They came Monday at 9am and had it fixed within minutes. So fast and professional highly recommend.

Amazing quality of work and with very professional and knowledgeable tradesmen. Fantastic communication with the owner and very understanding

Appointments were kept on time, communication was excellent (both rare things locally we’ve discovered), quotes were fair and standard of work was first class. In fact this was the hardest working team of tradesmen we’ve ever had, arrived 8 sharp every day and didn’t stop, lunch was eaten ‘on the go’ and tea drunk whilst working, not leaving until 5: a solid 9 hours worked daily. Floor protectors and furniture covers were laid the minute they arrived and areas hoovered then wiped over when they left. We have been very impressed with Warings and will use them again. We have already recommended them to friends within the village. Thank you Lee, Jamie and Tyler with much appreciation.

I would have no hesitation recommending this company. They came to inspect a flat roof that had been leaking, they were punctual, polite and very informative. The repair was carried out within a couple of days and the cost was extremely fair. Very trustworthy business and would definitely use them again if necessary.

These lads recently completed our new roof. First Class all the way. They keep you informed and work efficiently to a very high standard. I highly recommend them to all. Excellent Tradesmen.

Recently had our dormer repaired. Extremely impressed with depth of knowledge and professionalism. They did their best to do the work as soon as possible despite the pressure of extra work in the Whitby area. The lads were polite whilst working and cleaned up. No hesitation in reccommending them. Thank you Ash.

Warings provided a very professional service, I would not hesitate to recommend them
