Sean Hugill Joinery and Building Ltd receives glowing feedback across projects ranging from kitchen refits and utility rooms to loft and garage conversions and complex structural renovations. Clients consistently highlight Sean's proactive communication, expert guidance, and thorough project management when coordinating multiple trades. The wider team is frequently praised for being friendly, tidy, and respectful of properties, with homeowners appreciating the high-quality craftsmanship, spot-on pricing, and reliable aftercare for any snagging.
Sean and his team are very professional. We are very pleased with the finished product (fitting out utility room). Everyone was polite, treated the property respectfully and ensured the work was done to a high standard
Sean and his team are second to none! Great set of lads, pricing is really spot on! (LIKE CRAZY SPOT ON!) and they do everything they can to assist you with the process, and even after the job is done, they are first to come back on site should any snags need doing! Would highly recommend!
From the very first conversation to the final snag sign-off, the experience with Sean was first-class. Before work even began, he invested real time understanding the project, asking the right questions and offering practical suggestions that genuinely improved the end result. That kind of pre-start care set the tone for everything that followed. Throughout the renovation, communication was excellent, always kept in the loop, never left guessing. Sean brought a professional, thoughtful approach to every stage, and when challenges arose (as they always do in a full renovation), he handled them calmly and competently. His advice along the way was honest and knowledgeable, not just what you wanted to hear. What also stood out was the quality of the wider team Sean brought in. Rather than cutting corners, he brought in skilled, trusted tradespeople for the specialist work, plumbing, electrics, and beyond, all of whom matched his own high standards. It was clear these were people he had confidence in, and that confidence was well placed. The quality of the finished work speaks for itself, but what really set this apart was the trust built throughout the process. I felt completely confident leaving the project in Sean’s hands, that peace of mind is genuinely hard to put a price on. Aftercare was just as impressive. Snags were dealt with promptly and without fuss, which shows a real commitment to getting things right rather than just moving on to the next job. Highly recommend Sean and would not hesitate to use him again.
Sean and his team were brilliant. a great job doing first part of garage conversion. Also, always left everything spotless. Well done lads
Sean and his team carried out a loft conversion for us and we are extremely happy with the finished result. We were kept up to date throughout the process, Sean shared his knowledge and expertise with us to help us make decisions, and his team were friendly, professional and helpful. We would happily work with Sean for any future projects and would highly recommend him.
Fantastic quality workmanship
Sean and his team did a great job of refitting my small kitchen. Everything was done with great care and attention to detail. Thank you 😊
No words! Absolutely from start to finish and we couldn’t be happier with the final outcome; better than we ever could have dreamed of! Cannot recommend Sean and his team enough!
Very challenging build taking an 80's bungalow and retrofitting to create a highly insulated, airtight modern home. Chose Sean because of his enthusiasm and openness to take on the project and it really paid off,, he has stuck to his commitments even when it has cost him money and he has been at pains to deliver a high quality build that we would be satisfied with. He also had to manage a complex project of multiple suppliers and trades people which he did with no problems. Could not recommend more.
Highly recommended! Very good knowledge to advice every step to progress the whole project, very prompt to reply, very well look after. The most important- honest reasonable price!
Amazing service, build completed on time. Very impressed with Sean and the team’s attention to detail and build quality. A great team of friendly lads, who we highly recommend and would use again.
I would highly recommend Sean to anyone. He was so conscientious, professional, reliable and great at coordinating everything from start to finish. Him and his team redesigned the whole of our downstairs. This included knocking three walls down, creating a new wall and doorways, installing a beam to create an open plan kitchen, new doors, levelling the whole of downstairs, plastering, installing flooring and skirting boards. Nothing was ever a problem and they have transformed the space.
I recently had the pleasure of working with Sean on a project and I couldn't be more thrilled with the results. His professionalism and attention to detail truly stand out. From start to finish, He maintained clear communication and was incredibly receptive to my ideas and preferences. The quality of work is exceptional, showcasing his skills and dedication. I wholeheartedly recommend Sean for any building projects. It’s a joy to see his passion translate into such beautiful results!
Top builder, Very professional and would recommend to anyone starting a project
Excellent, professional, attention to detail second to none, friendly, hard working. There aren’t enough compliments we can give to Sean and his team for the work they did for us. Sean was there on time when he said for everything from the quote to the start date. He was always available to discuss any issues and was so knowledgeable and helpful even with design. He has exceptionally high standards, striving to do a perfect job each time. He is extremely tidy and cleaned up every single day of the builds. At the same time as doing the work my partner was 9 months pregnant and Sean and the team couldn’t have been more helpful around that time and the birth of our son. Making sure the work was done, clean tidy and perfect. He was so good we had Sean do further work for us and would highly recommend him to anyone and would employ him again for any future work we are having done.
