Murf Limited

Stuart undertook the entire renovation of our house - stripped it back entirely, reconfigured parts of the interior, insulated, plastered, electrics, plumbing, fixtures and finishes - everything. He did an excellent job. Stuart was flexible, willing to discuss changes to plan and helped with decision making by being clear about cost and other impacts. He accommodated the unexpected issues we discovered along the way and made helpful recommendations on ways forward. He also made suggestions to improve our plans, as well as thoughtful small changes that make living in the house better. Stuart has a real eye for detail and is a true craftsman - his finishes are very good. At the beginning, Stuart gave a clear budget breakdown for the work that did not vary - costs for any extras that came up subsequently were clearly communicated and discussed, with options given. I was nervous about taking on a complete renovation and, looking back, now feel very lucky to have found Stuart - he is reliable, cares about his work and it really felt like we were working together to get the best for the project. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him or to have Stuart back - and, in fact, plan to do so as we think about other smaller projects in future.

I am very pleased with the service provided by Stuart’s company. He was very measured in his advice and recommendations regarding the nature and extent of the work to be done. I would definitely employ his company again.

Work has recently been completed on our house involving knocking down an internal load bearing wall and installing steel support as well as bricking up a back door and window. Stuart did an absolute amazing job and took care with everything he did. We were really nervous about choosing the right builder for our home project but Stuart made us feel at ease the moment we met him and knew he was the right builder for our home. Any questions or concerns were answered whenever we asked and he was happy to liaise with our structural engineer whenever needed to ensure everything was running smoothly. Nothing was too much trouble for him and everything was always so tidy and clean. We would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a builder.

Stuart recently completed an extensive renovation of my property including a new garage with sundeck, moving the kitchen, rebuilding the porch, full rewire, upgraded hot water system, new utility room and en-suite bedroom, renovated outbuildings, facias/soffits/gutters, new patio and new drive plus re-decorating as required. Stuart managed the whole job from start to finish including all specialist subcontractors. His pricing was clear any changes in scope were agreed and fairly priced. All aspects were done to a high standard with great attention to detail - if he's not completely happy with something Stuart will re-do it. He and his excellent labourer Steve are completely trustworthy and a pleasure to do business with. I am happy to recommend him to anyone. Mark.

Stuart and Steve have just finished a lovely garage conversion for us. From the start, they were professional, always on time, tidy and their attention to detail is amazing. We're so pleased with our new room and have already asked them to do further work in our house.
