Cheshire Design & Build NW Ltd

Highly recommend! Craig was very reliable and the quality of workmanship was outstanding! Thank you!

This company has been the best to work with in terms of professionalism and quality, not like other companies I have worked with in the past 10/10 service👍👍

Great lads very polite showed up on time did a great job

We’ve recently had a knock through between the lounge and dining room along with some other bits of internal and brick work completed by Cheshire Design & Build NW. We’re extremely pleased with the quality of the work, everything has been finished to a high standard, the team were professional, tidy and clearly took pride in what they were doing! Communication with Craig has been great throughout and they stuck to the agreed timeline which was really appreciated. We’d definitely recommend them and would use them again in the future 😊

Brilliant company amazing team came to fit a lintel for me and brick up the outside of the house job was finished quickly and efficintly, very friendly and knowledgeable. Thankyou so much highly recommend.

We started 2025 with a 2 story chimney being taken out. The lads did such a good job we gave them the rest of our renovation. This meant over the next year they built 2 small extensions, fitted a new downstairs toilet/kitchen, upstairs bathroom and bedroom move and renovation, finishing with a full back garden renovation. The lads were great to work with and made the work feel less stressful, not that any large renovation isn’t stressful, but any issues were sorted quickly. We also added a few jobs on along the way, they took the additions in their stride. The new floor was a massive job but looks amazing. We’ve had many, many comments on how good the work looks, especially the brickwork, never an easy job when working with an old Victorian house and a new extension. I have nothing left to do, but if I did I would definitely call them in again. Some pictures of our journey are below. 👍🏻

After getting a few quotes for our kitchen, we chose Cheshire Design & Build NW and I’m glad we did. The whole process felt straightforward from start to finish. They turned up when they said they would, kept us updated, and got on with the job without any fuss. What stood out most was how much care they took with the little details. Nothing felt rushed and the finished kitchen looks fantastic. It’s completely changed the feel of the house and we’ve already had plenty of compliments from family and friends. Finding tradespeople you can trust isn’t always easy, but these lads were reliable, respectful, and clearly take pride in their work. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone in Warrington looking for a new kitchen.

Excellent 👌, Craig replied immediately and viewed the job. Detailed price and timeline was sent. Once the job was underway, problems occurred, not Craig's fault, new plans made & job done, Communication was 100%, that's important for me & a cleaner is sent in at the end of work. A great job done. Would definitely recommend.

We recently appointed Cheshire Design & Build to undertake a significant structural renovation of the downstairs of our property, and we can honestly say the entire experience exceeded our expectations. The scope of work was extensive and included removing internal walls to create a large open-plan living space, constructing a new downstairs WC, levelling and renewing flooring throughout the ground floor, fitting a brand-new kitchen, and installing patio doors to provide improved access and views into the garden. As this was a major project that would fundamentally change the way we use our home, choosing the right contractor was incredibly important to us. From our very first meeting, Craig took the time to fully understand what we wanted to achieve. Rather than simply focusing on the construction work, he listened carefully to how we wanted the space to function for our family and provided practical advice and suggestions that helped bring our vision to life. Communication was excellent throughout, and we always felt informed and involved at every stage of the project. The quality of workmanship delivered by Craig and the team has been outstanding. Every aspect of the renovation was completed with great attention to detail, and the finished result has completely transformed our home. The new open-plan layout has created a bright, spacious, and modern living environment, while the addition of the downstairs toilet and improved access to the garden have significantly enhanced the practicality of the space. One of the most impressive aspects of the project was the professionalism and positive attitude of everyone involved. The team arrived on time, worked hard throughout, kept the site as tidy as possible, and were always respectful of our home. Despite the scale and complexity of the renovation, the project was completed within the agreed timescales, which was a huge achievement and something we greatly appreciated. As with any major building project, a small number of minor snags arose after completion. However, what really sets Cheshire Design & Build apart is their commitment to customer service. Any issues we identified were dealt with promptly and without question, often being resolved almost immediately. Craig has continued to make himself available whenever we've needed advice or support, demonstrating that his commitment to the project doesn't end when the work is finished. We are absolutely delighted with the end result and genuinely couldn't be happier with the service we received. The renovation has transformed both the appearance and functionality of our home, and the entire process was far smoother and less stressful than we anticipated thanks to Craig and his team. We would have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending Cheshire Design & Build to friends, family, or anyone considering a renovation, extension, or structural alteration project. Their professionalism, workmanship, communication, and commitment to customer satisfaction have been exceptional from start to finish.
