Our gas hob burners stopped working, so I went to curry's and ordered the new gas hob. When I was not sure if the hob would fit my kitchen top i looked for someone near who could repair my old gas hob. I discovered thames valley services and the reviews that David had, which encouraged me to contact him online for his services. I was not expecting to get a call as the request was placed online on Saturday nite. But I received a call from David the next afternoon which was a Sunday. When I spoke to him I informed him that I had placed order for a new hob. He just enquired what was i paying for the new one and he was very surprised with the amount I mentioned. When I explained the issue with my gas hob and asked him if it could be fixed his words to me "its rare that I cannot fix something " so on checking when he could visit he said he will be there next morning at 9am. So agreed and he visited my place next morning very punctual. He had mentioned that he would charge 70£ plus if any parts needed replacement would add to his charge. When he checked the hob he fixed it in no time and the issue was resolved. He saved me from spending almost 500£ 😌 🙌 . I am so glad for people who wrote reviews about him which encouraged me to contact him and I will contact him in future if need be. Thank you David for your excellent service and a quick one too.

Needed a new thermostat for our oven just days before Christmas. We messaged Thames Valley service on the Sunday and had a phone call early Monday. David confirmed he could be with us on Tuesday afternoon. He replaced the thermostat, mended the oven door and helped us buy a new burner ignition. He was a pleasure to meet and quickly and efficiently got us our oven back. Will recommend to family and friends and anyone reading this review! Our Christmas is back on track 👌

Dave visited us to fix our Neff oven. The fan oven heating element had blown and there are 5 different elements in the Neff range. Dave had 4 types with him but not ours. So, part was ordered and couple of days later he was back, part fitted and the job all done. Dave is now my "go to" person should any of our appliances fail again, and I'll be recommending to friends and family. Great service, very reasonable prices, friendly, courteous and helpful.

Called this morning, he managed to come and look at faulty washer as was in the area. Diagnosed quickly, fixed it. He definitely knows what he was doing.
Our washing machine had been playing up for a few weeks and I wasn't entirely sure what was wrong. Dave diagnosed the fault in a few minutes and was able to clearly demonstrate exactly what was wrong so we could order parts - impressive diagnostic skills. As soon as the parts were ready Dave came over and repaired the machine. He completed the fixes quickly and confidently, a pro in action. After the repair he took apart the broken bits and showed us how it had all gone wrong. A fantastic speedy service for a great price, many thanks.

Totally brilliant advice from David. I called as a had a problem with my Samsung washing machine during spin cycle. He advised me to check filter first, i did and it resolved the problem...thus doing himself out of a call out. Clearly obvious advice, but David gave it and i will now make sure TVS will be my go-to on any appliance problems i have. Many others would have just taken the call out charge and done nothing but emptied the filter. BRAVO David.......Not many around like you!

David made an appointment with me for Friday 14 June, didn't turn up - no message and haven't heard anything since. Disappointed with their service!
Good old customer based service. Called this morning regarding my washing machine which was not draining (only just over 2 years old). Dave asked me few questions over the phone and reassured me that it can be fixed and I do not need to spend £300 for a new washing machine. Only £50 including VAT for call charges - came over early afternoon and found the fault. Ordered spare part and came back this evening to fix it so I would not be without my washing machine for too long. So happy I called him. Saved me loads of money and showed me exactly what was wrong with my machine. He will be my go to guy anytime one of my kitchen appliances will break. Excellent service - one happy customer.

Appointment booked, no one showed up. Called after 40 mins, no answer but received a message saying they'd call back, which they didn't.
Called David on Bank Holiday Monday, he answered personally and said he could get to us the next day. He arrived as promised, tried to repair the washing machine found main control panel blown so not repairable, charged minimum call out which was very acceptable. He even gave us a machine that he had on his van to dispose off which we have managed to use (very noisy bearing) to do our washing until our new machine arrives next week. I highly recommend David, he is very trustworthy and offers good value for money.

Brilliant service, made an emergency call at 8:30 on Christmas Day and our oven was repaired by 10:30. And the cost was no more (I think) than a normal week day. Very professional, friendly service, and highly recommended.
