Had to replace my washing machine drain hose which had developed a leak. I found Stuart to be quick to respond to my enquiry as well as sending me a link for the replacement part to keep my costs down. He was professional and got the part fitted within a day of it arriving. Very competitive with his charges as well. I would use him again

I had called Stuart on Friday after 5pm for an emergency on our new washer dryer. He responded he would be here on Saturday morning at 10am. On the Saturday he texted me asking if it was OK for him to come before 9am, which for us was a blessing. He reviewed the installation done by the delivery people which had been poorly done and not tested. He went through the testing mode thoroughly, adjusted the legs, tested with a load and showed me how to restart and correct errors in case this would happen in the future. He also retrieved the hinge of the door inside the drum of the washer dryer. He has been a life saver yet again after visiting us a couple of months ago for an issue with the dishwasher. He is professional, reliable ,transparent with costs . We can not fault his work and would keep using his services in the future. Thank you Stuart!

We have used prompt and precise twice now to remove and install a dishwasher and then later a fridge freezer. Neither were completely straightforward slot out and in so I looked for a specialist rather than buying installation with the appliance purchase and I’m so glad I did. The service and value are great and I’d highly recommend them. I will certainly be getting them to do any repairs we need.

We contacted via the enquiry form on Thursday night because our dishwasher had stopped draining and kept beeping. First thing Friday morning Stuart contacts me asking if he can come around early afternoon. He notified me as he was in the area to let me know he would be with us shortly. When here it took him probably 20/25 mins of work to find the fault and fix it,and testing it. Everything left clean afterwards. We are very happy with his service and surely use him again.

Posted on their website - broken dishwasher. Stuart arrived the next working day, and fixed the issue during that visit after a brief diagnostic. I've left it a week or so, and the dishwasher is still working perfectly. P+P has a clear and open pricing structure. And Stuart is a nice guy too. 5 star rating fully deserved, can't fault them in any way.

Carl and Stuart are brilliant and provide a really amazing service! We needed a new kitchen extractor fan and they went out of their way to find a like-for-like model and fit it carefully without disturbing any of the tiles. That same week our dishwasher packed in. Another engineer came out, took one look and basically said it was too old to bother with. I'd already given up and started looking at new ones when Carl called back and said he thought he could get it going again. He did and it saved us hundreds of pounds! I can't recommend Prompt and Precise highly enough.

Stuart came over to look at the issue about 45 minutes after I emailed which was a great start. He sorted out what part needed replacing, ordered and fitted it the day the part arrived. Stuart arrived on very busy day, close to Christmas, and quickly fitted a set of oven door hinges which had been ordered following a phone diagnosis of my problem. Stuart was friendly and professional and seems to be able to fix pretty much anything. As he walked into my kitchen he recognised both me and my dishwasher which he repaired some 2 and a half years ago (still going strong) and gave me some ongoing dishwasher maintenance tips as he cleared away his tools. Just amazing service.

The drum on my washing machine broke. Prompt and Precise were happy to organise a repair, ordering the part as soon as I contacted them and arranging to fit it within the week (as soon as they received the part). The technician arrived exactly on time and completed the repair carefully, efficiently and professionally. I was charged for the part and a standard callout fee for the repair; very good value as altogether half the cost of a new machine. The repair took 90 minutes, which made the £80 call out fee very fair. Some companies do not do drum replacements due to the size of the job, so I was very pleased to find Prompt and Precise and not have to buy a new washer. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them and would definitely use them again in the future.

Stuart did a great job replacing our washing machine seal. We were booked in quickly and they were flexible around time which was so helpful. Stuart was polite, efficient and communicated well. I will be using Prompt and Precise again.

A frustrating experience that ended well. Timeline of Service: • 29/08/25: Initial repair booking. After the visit, three screws were left out of the appliance. • 06/09/25: Appointment cancelled on the morning of the visit as the required part had not arrived. • 20/09/25: Appliance repaired, but the lint filter housing (banjo) was damaged due to an incorrect screw being fitted. • 24/09/25: Engineer attended to assess the damage and order replacement parts. • 25/10/25: Appliance fully repaired at no additional cost. Overall Experience: Although the process took several visits and there were some issues along the way, the company ultimately resolved everything professionally and ensured the appliance was left in full working order without extra charges. Communication could have been smoother, but the final outcome was satisfactory.

At last, an appliance repair company I feel confident in using again after excellent service. My washing machine wasn't rinsing properly and giving wrong display icon. I called on Friday, Stuart came out on Saturday and quickly diagnosed the problem. Luckily no replacement part was needed, just a gunked up sensor. All sorted after a thorough clean and given advice on how to keep the machine clean in future. Definitely preferable to taking out repair insurance contracts. Highly recommended and will spread the word to my neighbours.

My kitchen extractor fan stopped working. I found out it was made by Caple and they recommended Prompt and Precise as engineers who could fix it. Stuart got the necessary part and repaired the fan. Both Carl and Stuart know their stuff and were polite, friendly and knowledgible. I would definitely use them again for any kitchen repairs and recommend to family and friends. Definitely 5 stars.

Stuart provides a good service at a reasonable price. Well recommended! He replaced a hose on our Miele dishwasher after a mouse had damaged it. He also unblocked a hob stove that wasn't working. A nice person to speak with as well.

Stuart did a fantastic job fitting in new bearings for our washing machine. It’s definitely not an easy job to do as it requires taking the whole machine apart (yes even the drum!) fitting the new bearings and putting everything back together again. Not to mention he gave the whole machine a good clean before fitting everything back. Now our washing machine is like new! Couldn’t recommend Stuart enough. Extremely professional and amiable!

They reached out with a price list, availability and even mentioned that they just charge a one of calling out charge even if they have to return to fit any parts that might be needed. No need to ask any questions because all the information was politely and professionally provided in the first email. Can't recommend Prompt and Precise enough. We contacted them at the weekend via their online form and they very quickly arranged a time that suited to come and take a look at our freezer. Unfortunately, it was unrepairable. They produced a report for us to contact our retailer about the freezer as it was only 18 months old, but outside of the 1 year warranty period. The retailer contacted Prompt and Precise directly to get some information from them about the mechanical issue with the freezer, which they replied to immediately. This report and their communication with the retailer enabled us to get an approx £400 refund on the cost of our freezer due to it being unfit for purpose, despite being outside of warranty. Thanks to the team for helping us out. I would not hesistate to contact them again if I have any issues with oher white goods and thoroughly recommend them.

They do exactly what they say "prompt and precise" I had few issues with my washing machine that was not draining or pumping out, Stuart fixed it in no time. After couble of days, I discovered another issue so they came back and saved me on a Saturday morning. You get a three month warranty too.

I contacted prompt and precise regarding my induction hob that had stopped working, They were very quick to respond and arranged an appointment within 3 days. Called before the appointment and attended on time. Unfortunately they weren't able to resolve the issue due to the part being not economical to repair/replace (cost more then the cooker.) But they were quick and polite and told me what I needed to know.

Stuart went beyond the call of duty in trying to fix a blocked waste pipe to the dishwasher and washing machine ! He also fixed the dishwasher which after careful analysis needed a new solenoid to the water inlet valve ! Nothing was too much for Stuart, I would recommend him whole heartedly !
