Recently purchased an electric built-in oven with a gas hob above from PowerPoint Oakengates. The team were friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and very efficient. The services included a home visit to take dimensions ensuring the correct appliances were ordered. The two installation visits in January and February were professionally carried out and the goods work perfectly. We recommend this company for any domestic appliance needs and the Oakengates showroom is worth a visit.

Few weeks ago, we had repeated problems with our washing machine bought in July and under warranty. The shop was very supportive and everything was solved thanks to them (they made phone calls, and had another product for us if the brand engineer could not sort it out). They are so professional, always take time to listen to you and prepared to go the extra mile just for you . All my purchases will be with them in the future.

Well what can one say about the staff at PowerPoint Oakengates. Through no fault of my own, back in July I purchased a 60cm cooker for delivery at a later date. We had decided to change our kitchen worktops and have a new cooker. I was then informed by the kitchen fitter that I could not have a 60cm. So off to the shop I go, Natalie said no problem at all, she refunded the difference so I went back to a 50cm cooker. We were then let down by the kitchen fitter and had to find someone else to do the job. The new fitter explained if we changed the design of the kitchen I could have a 60cm cooker. So for the third time I went back and paid the extra to have the size I wanted in the first place. Once again the staff were so obliging and understanding. No way would you get this sort of service from a large company, if I could give them 10 stars I would. I have had many items from PowerPoint in the past and have always received good customer service. Finally tomorrow I will be taking delivery of my 60cm cooker. Thank you all for your wonderful customer service

Ordered a fridge / freezer the discovered it would not fit in our fitted kitchen, and had to cancel, but staff there took a lot of time phoning around suppliers to find a suitable one, had it delivered to the store, called us to view, and later delivered at the time stated. Second appliance purchased from here, happy customer.

Monday 9am: needed a replacement element for my oven. Very efficiently, an engineer was booked for Wednesday - 'call 9am to see whether am or pm visit'. Monday 3.30pm: the engineer (Marc) phoned and asked if he could come 'now'. Monday 3.54pm: fault confirmed, new element fitted and Marc on his way to his next call. Friendly, efficient, reasonably-priced (and Covid secure) service throughout. I strongly recommend Powerpoint Stores repair service.

Had a call 30 minutes before delivery as promised, washing machine arrived, old one taken away, all sorted within 15 mins, excellent service.

Our old Beko washing machine broke down after nearly 8 years of service. Today we popped to PowerPoint stores in Oakengates. Staff there are extremely friendly, knowledgeable and best of all have stock available for same day delivery. I would highly recommend and will definitely use them again. Booked a cooker repair 10.30 this morning. Call dealt with efficiently and covid arrangements were discussed. They managed to fit the job in today and problem fixed by 4.30, for the price of the call out fee (on this occasion) Great service. The engineer was very polite, wore face covering and maintained social distancing where possible. Great service. Will use again and would recommend.

Awful experience. Unhelpful, hostile and unfriendly office staff. Some basic customer service training is definitely recommended. Told I MUST answer my phone? MUST? With a terrible tone of voice. Everything seemed organised first thing in the morning but I really didn't expect such a hostile response when I called later in the day to chase things up. There are PLENTY of alternative companies to choose from rather than experience the poor treatment from the staff here. And despite the owner's response below, there was no shouting, I wasn't the rude one and there was no mention of Covid-19...but there is considerable embellishment of the truth in their response. AVOID!

So pleased we used powerpoint oakengates, from ordering to installation everthing went smoothly . The staff were so helpful i would definitely recommend them.

Can't recommend these people highly enough. Start of Lockdown broken tumble dryer. Nothing worse. They went above and beyond to supply me with the correct components and gave good advice on how to fit them. Will definitely be recommending them to others and definitely using again.

This is my first order with PowerPoint, used the Euronics website as they had better delivery slots than another company I’d used previously... plus the price was good! However the experience from PowerPoint has been second to none! Couldn’t have been more helpful and was great to speak to someone on the phone who was instantly able to identify who you are without reference numbers and the like when you call a generic call centre... really happy with my purchase, will definitely be using again... ‘Came for the price, will be back because of the service!!’

My cooker was delivered on sat, installed and old one taken away. I would just like to say thank you to Phil and Lee for the excellent service received, no problem with climbing the 49 steps up to my flat. I will definitely be recommending PowerPoint to family and friends.

My husband went into shop yesterday and bought a new dishwasher. Was delivered installed and old machine taken away. Would highly recommend this shop. Delivery men knew what they were doing which is just as well as installation wasn’t straight forward.

We ordered a new freezer after they confirmed they had stock in warehouse. When the freezer arrived it was the shop display item with energy rating stickers on and without packaging. We went to shop and indeed the display item was no longer there. When we asked the woman assistant she was very rude and refused to believe anything we had so say. We kept the item even though the door sticks as we needed a freezer urgently.

Washing machine broken on Monday, back up and running on Wednesday. Great repair job by Sterling, he even had the parts on the van. Excellent service all round. Thank you Powerpoint.

As a single Mum I always use Powerpoint. They are a trustworthy and reliable local business. The lady in the Oakengates shop listens to your circumstances, factors in your budget and then sorts the rest out for you, even down to registering your warranty. I noticed water was leaking from under my LG washing machine. As I work 6 days a week, the engineer came out the day and time I asked for. He quickly establised it was the plumbing pipes that was responsible for the leak, which he resolved within half an hour. Sadly, not linked to my first call out, my LG WM did have to be replaced, as the circuit board was not worth replacing due to the age of my machine (nearly 10 years old). Again, PP discussed my options (even down to the finer details of how many people reside at the property, to determine whether I need a smaller household appliance as oppose to the more expensive models usually suitable for larger households). My new Siemens WM was delivered 2 days later and my old LG taken away. This was not without a hitch...... when PP tried to plumb in my new machine the cold water valve broke off. I was thinking by this point I would have to call a PP engineer back out as these guys were just delivering the machine and a quick plumb in, but no the PP lads replaced the valve as part of plumbing it in. What a service!! as we don't all have the DIY skills to do these jobs ourselves. PP, albeit very competitive on prices, cannot take out the expense of replacing a applicance, however they certainly take out the additional stress! Great Customer Service from my first phonecall to enjoying my new machine.
