I cannot recommend SD Appliance Repairs enough. Steve responded to me over the Xmas period by whatsapp and arrived promptly at 9am today. He was very clear and honest explaining that the cost of repairing my tumble dryer was not worthwhile. He recommended a replacement (at no profit to himself) and only charged me his standard callout fee. Having used other repairers in the past and been upsold a very costly inefficient repair it was refreshing to find an honest company. I definately recommend Steve.

A really excellent service and highly recommended. Fast reply to my initial emailed contact form (within hours) and the engineer came out the very next morning. Phoned ahead with an arrival time, fixed the problem quickly - I had thought that parts needed replacing on my seven year old Neff washer/drier but this was not necessary and the engineer showed me exactly what the problem was. Very reasonable call out fee - this was all I was charged for the repair. Why can’t all service engineers be this efficient, responsive and professional! The company was recommended to me by a neighbour and I will have no hesitation in recommending them to family and friends. A huge thank you to Steven!

My old washing machine packed up, called a few companies, chose SD Appliance Repairs, guy came out , said drum bearings were shot, not worth repairing, gave ma a few quotes for a new m/c, I chose one, came out a few days later, installed, took old one away. I did a load in the new machine - worked fine.

We got back from holiday to find that our washing machine was not working. I contacted S and D repairs and they responded immediately. As we suspected the machine was beyond repair . S and D repairs sourced a new washing machine for us giving us a range of options. We had some questions about energy efficiency which S and D repairs were really helpful with. They installed our new washing machine yesterday and we are really pleased with it. This is the second time we have used S and D repairs. The first time was for a cooker hob. I had some workers come over to fix my washing machine, but they left after just 5 minutes without fixing anything and charged me £56. After paying, I left a review and was then threatened, with one of them saying they'd slash my tyres in the coming days. I have reported this to the police. Absolutely appalling behavior – avoid these workers at all costs!

I called SD yesterday to ask if they could fit a new door seal to my washing machine, the quote was very reasonable so I asked to book it - they were able to arrange it for today and arrived within the time window they had given me. I contacted SD to have a look at an integrated fridge freezer which had stopped working. An engineer came out the following day to advise that it was not economically repairable so we asked them to install a new one. At every stage SD kept us informed of progress and timescales, even down to letting us know when an engineer was en route. The new item has now been installed without problem. We can't fault SD at all, very efficient, great communication and very competitive pricing. I would readily recommend them.

A fantastic company, they gave me a quick assessment of my washing machine, although they cost of repairing it was barely short of a new machine, they sourced and fitted a replacement at a very competative rate and waved the original call out charge. Lovely engineers, couldnt be happier.

Really great service! Called them this morning and had an engineer with me by lunchtime who fixed the problem in minutes! The engineer was able to get the dishwasher restarted without needing new parts and only said they may be necessary next time, if the pump ceased again so I felt like I wasn't being up sold! I am really happy with Steven from SD Appliance. I had messaged a few plumbers and left a message with SD Appliance not knowing who could fix my problem with the dishwasher. Steven was the only one who communicated clearly about the call out charges and answered all my other queries. I couldn’t identify the manufacturer because the Dishwasher was bought from Ikea, but Steven was happy to investigate and confident that it could be fixed. During his visit, the problem was diagnosed right away, the correct parts were ordered immediately and the next visit booked. Steven has happy to work around my schedule and offered to visit on a time on my convenience for the repairs. We are a very happy customer and would definitely recommend this company.

My partner was really impressed with the service from Steven. He was very prompt in looking at a washing machine and said it needed replacement (the washing machine was over 10 years old). Called just after Christmas I called SD Appliances to fix a washing machine that had suddenly stopped functioning properly. Steven inspected the machine, found the fault, but the cost of parts and labour would be foolish for an old machine. Steven located a new machine at a good price and installed it before the New Year holiday... he charged reasonable installation and disposal charges and did not charge for the original call out. One very happy customer.

Two smart and friendly guys turned up promptly and quickly identified the fault, explained the problem to me and showed me that unfortunately the required replacement part was no longer available. Although they were unable to fix the fault I was impressed by their professional behaviour and I would have no hesitation in using SD Appliance Repairs again.

Dishwasher stopped working, called Steve and he came out very quickly to look at the problem. Quick to respond to calls/messages and to help sort out the problem. Highly recommend and will be using Steve for any future kitchen/utility appliance issues Unfortunately there was a fault with the dishwasher itself (and it was out of warrantee) but the call out cost was deducted as we got a new dishwasher through Steve. They were able to offer advice on the best brands, price match and also fit the new machine. Much cheaper than other people we called and super helpful!

I needed the waste pipe on my dishwasher replacing, so I contacted s d appliance repairs and they got back to me very quickly. They arrived on time and were very quick and efficient. It's a job that I would normally do myself but I'm glad I got it done for me as it saved me a lot of hassle. I will use them again if I need anything else repairing.

I searched on Google for a local service provider to repair our Bosch tumble dryer and washing machine, and found Steven at S D Appliances, who arranged to come round the following evening. Having diagnosed the problems straight away, the repairs were carried out on both machines within an hour.
