With out doubt Phil is the "go-to" gas engineer/plumber. He's efficient, clearly explains what needs to be done and does it. I cannot recommend Phil highly enough. Arriving at my late father’s home, I discovered that the boiler had failed, water was gushing out and had caused substantial damage to the property. Coming from out of the area, I didn’t know any heating and plumbing services but found Phil on Google. He came straight out, addressed the issue immediately and put me completely at ease. We agreed a course of action and the work (replacement boiler) was completed with my availability in mind. Phil is genuine, friendly and knowledgeable. He’s offered great advice, given a professional service and helped me when I felt completely overwhelmed. I’d have no hesitation in recommending him for any heating and plumbing services.

Phil recently came out to diagnose a problem with my water heater apparently it had been fitted incorrectly and over time had caused a rupture resulting in a leak which meant having to turn off the supply, sadly no hot water. Phil offered to move a few jobs around and was able to come out the next day to replace the whole system. It was a relief and a pleasure to deal with Phil who helped me out of a very difficult position I would not hesitate to recommend his services he is a true "professional".
Our old boiler was making strange noises and I couldn't contact the company that we usually use for servicing etc even though it was a Friday. That turned out to be very lucky! I found Phil's phone number by chance and am so glad that I did. He came round that afternoon, said that the boiler was at the end of its life, sent a quote on Sunday and came and fitted a new boiler on the Wednesday. He worked really efficiently, was extremely pleasant and friendly, and we are very, very happy to recommend him. Definitely 5 star service!
Phil answered my emergency call, the same day he arrived home from holiday, came to my parents checked the boiler as it was old and broke and replaced the whole thing in 48 hours, area was left clean and tidy and was a very good price, phil is such a lovely guy , I mean who just arrives home from the airport, answers a call from myself and gets to my parents within a couple of hours and and brand new boiler replaced in 48hours you can get any better than this guy, all certificates and guarantees supplied also. We needed a new boiler and contacted Phil for a quote, which we accepted. Within a few days he installed the new boiler and outside pipework, including cementing. He disposed of the old boiler and fittings. He also set up the thermostat for us. We are very pleased with his work and would highly recommend him.
Phil worked out our old, complicated double heating system in no time, removed the two boilers with their external vents, filled the holes and installed the new boiler, all in 2 1/2 days. The system was up and running in 3 days with no problems since. Phil's problem-solving is excellent. E.G. The ingenious re-routing of the gas feed from the meter to the upstairs boiler. He is very straightforward and his quote was comprehensive and good value.

I was amazed at the speed of the replacement and the advice / instructions on how to work the boiler were partcularly helpful. Phil has done a few plumbing jobs for our elderly mother. Phil fitted me in at short notice to do quotes when I was in the area, then to do fitting, disabling leaking toilet again at short notice. Easy to communicate with from a distance, and jobs carried out as quoted. Would highly recommend.

Paid a significant amount of money for a new boiler, tank and radiators, plus one to be relocated to the other side of the room. Just paid nearly £700 to put right a leak under the floorboards to the re-located radiator that we were advised had been leaking since installation as the connector was broken. The filling loop valve had been left in the on position which we believe demonstrates Phil must have known there was a problem/leak. Contacted him when the boiler cut out during the cold weather, no offer to come out and investigate just suggested we check the condensation pipe wasn't frozen. We then engaged the new professional company who have been outstanding.
Had drained my heating system to fit a new radiator. When refilling system everything appeared to OK but boiler kept creating weird vibrating sounds. Spoke to Phil who suggested I hinted at the problem. He explained what I should do to solve the problem and it worked within a few minutes. I would definitely recommend Phil as a great problem solver and therefore a great heating engineer.
Great work was carried out. New pipes to bypass the leak in the central heating. We have been looking for a plumber for over the year to fix our problem. Phill and helper were excellent. Replied to emails, came quickly, did the job very quick, re installed cabinet with no fuss and got us back up and running in no time. To contact though I would recommend emailing with all details rather than phoning. I think it's easier as they are working on a jobs and can respond to email when free. Would absolutely recommend.

Phil and Rob replaced our old gas boiler with a new Worcester Bosch heat only. All completed in a professional manner within a day. Everything left neat and tidy and they even cut and fitted a new ceramic tile where it had to be replaced due to pipework differences. Overall very happy with the job and a very fair price. We asked Phil to come and view our renovation project. The property hasn't been lived in for 20 years and wasn't maintained for 40 years before that. Other plumbing engineers had been to look at the work that needed doing but never got back to us. Phil came with an open mind, nothing was a problem for him and his team. Quoted for the work quickly and managed to start it within a couple of weeks. He always replies to my questions. I wouldn't use anyone else now.

After 2 years of wrangling with British Gas regarding issues with my heating I took the decision to go local . Best decision ever . I've recently had a en suite shower connected to the water supply and pump installed by Phil as the Bathroom company/fitter who fitted a new en suite and bathroom for me, were unable to do this! Phil was very informative about what work was required to rectify my problem. He was empathic regarding the problems the bathroom company had left me with. This included a leak from my en-suite toilet going through my lounge ceiling. Following the installation of the en-suite pump, Phil and Tom fixed the leaking toilet, a tap connection that the Bathroom fitter incorrectly fitted, and a towel rail radiator leak. These were small additional jobs that they completed via kindness, and recognition of the despair I was going through from an unreliable Bathroom Fitting service who left me with problems! Thanks Phil and Rob, for restoring my faith in humanity 🙂

Phil and Rob worked efficiently and professionally installing our new boiler with filter and smart thermostat. They had already given us good advice on the best solution for our house. The day after the work was carried out we had a small issue with the thermostat and Phil appeared 20 minutes after I texted to resolve it. Now that's service! Fantastic service by Phil and the team. I’d been quoted by other large firms to move my boiler as the existing flue was too close to a velux window. I was on the verge of removing this window and returning it to roof which would have made a mess in my attic room. I contacted Phil and he suggested replacing the boiler before removing the velux and they would try moving the flue first. He did just that, something that other firms said couldn’t be done. Phil also had to install an overflow pipe, I explained where I wanted it and expected to be left with a large long hole the length of the wall, as I wanted the pipe between 2 plasterboard walls into a drainage pipe that drained 2 sinks. He exceeded my expectations again by attaching the plasterboard back, so it is all ready for filler & decoration. Couldn’t recommend this team enough, they were able to install v quickly a great boiler, at a reasonable price and saved me further work on the roof and associated costs. He was on time and left the space how he found it, I wish all jobs around the house that involve workmen were this easy!

Phil Lawson has just replaced an old central heating boiler at my Mother’s house in Evesham. He quoted an excellent price. He came within a few days and the job was completed in one day. He was prompt, efficient, and cleaned up afterwards. We were very relieved that the work was completed safely, and my elderly Mum was delighted. What more could we ask? We would recommend Phil to anyone – he’s a real professional.
I recently have had my 45+ year old central heating replaced by Phil and Rob. This was a full replacement, with the boiler location moved from the garage to the airing cupboard, new radiators & pipe work, and the decommissioning of the cold water tank in the loft. I am very pleased with the result. I though these days it would be plastic pipe and speedfit connectors, but no, there is gleaming copper and soldered joints throughout, which I am happier with. And amazingly, they did everything within three day, starting on Tuesday and finished by Thursday evening, with all the rubbish taken away, the old vent in the garage bricked in and plastered, and the house left clean. I feel that I was lucky to find Phil, and have no hesitation in recommending him to others.

Phil's service is fantastic, they don't waste time and do everything they promise. We are building a new extension for our customer who had been without heating for months. We made it our priority to get heating working for the customer and Phil fitted in around us pre-fitting new pipework whilst keeping hot water working and ultimately fitting a new Worcester boiler with a 12 year warranty. We will use them again.

My elderly in laws, 97 and 93, boiler stopped working leaving them without hot water and heating. I contacted Phil on a Monday morning and he visited them that afternoon. Assessed and arranged for a replacement. Very efficient, professional service. Friendly and nothing was too much trouble would definitely recommend.

Absolute lifesaver! We were due to move house the next day and suddenly discovered that we needed the gas disconnected & capped off in order to move our dual fuel cooker. This was at very short notice, 4:30pm on a Tuesday afternoon. Phil and his engineer were there within 20 minutes & sorted our problem in no time, making a stressful situation hassle free. Contacted Phil initially to service our gas fire which we hadn’t used for years. He did this but recommended a new fire as ours was old. He advised us on the type of fire to get and once delivered promptly returned to install it. He was competitively priced and carried out the work to a high standard and on time. I have used him since then, as have several of my family, for all our plumbing jobs and for boiler maintenance. Having used a couple of other local plumbers, who subsequently let me down I was looking for a reliable plumber to maintain the boiler and plumbing in a house I rent in Evesham. Phil has been brilliant - initially I asked him to service the boiler and do a safety check, he fitted it in very quickly and completed the job for a very reasonable fee. When my tenants had an issue with the boiler (leaking filling loop) a few months later they contacted Phil directly and he popped round to sort the problem out and get their heating and hot water back on ASAP. Again the fee for this was very reasonable. I can fully recommend his services and I’m very grateful to have him looking after my tenants so well.
Phil was very professional and help us at short notice. He came out the next day and our fire was connected. In these difficult times he helped us as my wife was going in for an operation and she was self isolating for 2 weeks before she went in. This meant she would be comfortable while she recovered.

We had a broken down gas boiler in a rental property that had a new mother and baby living in it so we needed it fixing or replacing in a hurry. Phil Lawson (gas fitter extraordinaire) went to the house on Sunday to take a look and had a new boiler fitted and working by Monday. Fantastic service, turned when he said he would gave us a choice of boilers and prices and did the job promptly. We can highly recommend him.

Beyond competitive quotes and a level of competence you might expect from a plumber with decades of plumbing experience this is truly a one stop shop. In a matter of a few days the old boiler, tanks and radiators etc were off site and the fireplace blocked up and plastered over with a replacement combi installed in a different location Nothing was to much trouble. Superb.

After a weekend without any heating due to a burnt out circulation pump, I called Phil at 09:10 on Monday morning. Phil said he could come the same day, which was a huge relief. Phil was with us a couple of hours later and had a new pump with him. Within a couple of hours we were up and running again with heating on. Amazing response, amazing, speedy service. No hard sell whatsoever. (We have a very old boiler and expected to have it condemned). Very fair pricing too. Thanks again Phil.
Phil Lawson did a fast and efficient job at a fair price. He replaced a combi boiler that could not be repaired by British Gas with only 1 days notice which was really appreciated as it was mid-winter and there was an elderly couple left without heating or water. Thanks to the previous reviews here led to us saving money and also getting a brilliant heating contactor. What is remarkable is the way that the process was not over complicated. We had several quotations, that were going on about how they will have to do this and do that, climb this and seal this and that, it's LPG, it is not straightforward. Anyway Phil made it painless. Turned up with Rob nice and early, 4/5 hours later the boiler was done. They just got on with the work and fitted our boiler with no fuss. I doubt they can be beaten on price and professionalism. Phil was excellent from start to finish. We needed our boiler replaced and also the water tanks removing, the job was completed promptly with minimal fuss. All rubbish was removed at the end of the job too. We are really happy with the work and would recommend to anyone
Best plumber in the world! I can't praise Phil enough. He has fitted gas central heated for LPG supply into my 400 year old cottage and transformed my home beyond belief. Now super cosy. Neatly done with as many pipes hidden as he could. BRILLIANT!! Highly recommend.

Phil visited us to size up the job of replacing our boiler. He did this quickly, without any fuss and suggested the nearest equivalent. The quote was acceptable and a date was agreed for the work. I cannot recommend Phil Lawson highly enough. His experience as a Gas Safe engineer was reassuring, having read his feedback from previous reviews and having spoken with him on the ‘phone in connection with my enquiry. After our initial conversation I felt confident that he would be able to connect the 2 gas fires in our Period home in Cheltenham. Phil arrived at the house at the pre arranged time together with his colleague. He explained the process and once completed showed us how the connection worked and made sure we were ‘au fait’ with the connectivity. My wife and I cannot thank him enough for his professional approach.

Excellent service. When I was in the market for a new central heating boiler, Phil was the first to respond and the first to quote. The price was very reasonable and the wait time to install was not too long but also importantly not too short possibly indicating lack of work, so I was happy he was established and sought after. Turned up when he said he would both for providing a quote and installing new boiler. Suggested items that would improve efficiency of system without being pushy about anything. New boiler installed and working in a few hours with the old one cleared away. Good price too.

After a visit from British gas, fitted new digital meters, found a problem with our gas boiler... with no gas or heating, within week used phil to fit new worcester boiler, and remove all the old system. My family has used Phil for many years, so when I eventually moved out, I wouldn't have thought about using anybody else for my plumbing and heating job! Our water pressure was awful, and having a shower was a painstaking task. Phil sourced and fitted a new unvented hot water cylinder in our loft - and it's absolutely amazing! Late in 2016, I ordered an energy-efficient gas fire from the "FireFly Fireplace Studio"*, near Evesham. They also helpfully arranged for its installation; by local Gas-Safe Engineer: Phil Lawson. My frail nonagenarian mother and I are happy to recommend Phil Lawson's competent fire-fitting service; and the pleasantly respectful manner in which the job was done. Costs were clearly indicated throughout; and we paid a very reasonable inclusive price for the work; which included all relevant safety checks. *You can find the "FireFly Fireplace Studio" at the Gas Shop on Evesham Road, Norton WR11 4TW; but do note that it has limited opening hours.

Phil replaced our old back-boiler with a combi boiler and removed all the redundant tanks. He did an excellent job - always keeping us informed. We had previously phoned other plumbers for quotes and Phil was not only the most competitive, he also gave us the most options. All the other plumbers were insistent on only fitting one type of boiler (presumably as they had some sort of reseller deal with the manufacturer). Instead, Phil asked us about our usage and then gave us several recommendations based on our budget. Phil was able to complete the job in under two days, keeping disruption at a minimum. The finish was excellent and his team left no mess. Would definitely recommend him to anyone who needs a plumber in the Evesham area.
