Catering Equipment Solutions

Very disappointing experience. A repair was carried out to our dishwasher without a quotation being provided in advance and without any discussion as to whether we wished to proceed with a repair of this value. The final bill was just under £1,000. This included £50 call out, £75 for the first hour as well as £100 for Labour. He also charged £30 in postage and packaging for parts he received. There is no service sheet and nobody approved this job to go ahead. They simply entered our premises and began work of their own accord. Had we been informed of the likely cost beforehand, we would have chosen to replace the appliance rather than repair it. When we queried why there was no quotation or service sheet signed. We were given no real answers. Instead, we received increasingly aggressive communications from director Carlo Luzzi, including threats of legal action and threats to attend our premises to remove parts. This continued despite payment arrangements having already been agreed via e mail to pay in full. The complete lack of transparency over costs and the unnecessarily confrontational approach to customer service mean we would not use this company again.

Cool place but didn’t find the solution 🥲
