I called CRG Direct as I was having a problem with my Givenergy inverter. The following day Sharni called to sort out my problem who incidentally was very pleasant and knowledgeable. I am very pleased I called this company. As and when I have my next problem I will be calling them.

CRG have just installed both a heat pump and solar panels. It was a 3day event with many workers involved. we have to say how pleased we were with the professional way the work was carried out. The work force were both polite and very informative. Before they left we were given a comprehensive overview of the instructions on how to use the equipment. The experience was 5 Starr and highly recommend anyone looking at upgrading there home energy appliances

Brilliant company. They knocked the door one day offering free solar panels, inverter, hybrid heat pump and boiler! Which seemed too good to be true, but it wasn’t! The office staff were very professional and kept us in the loop every step of the way. They turned up for every appointment / survey exactly when they said they would. And had the whole install completed in just 2 days. Even the scaffolding was well organised. It wet up the day before the install, and came down the day after it was completed. Would 100% recommend 😊

Just had CRG carry out energy improvements on our home under the Warmer Home Scheme. Everything was carried out on schedule and even the one thing which wasn’t it was arranged over the weekend so we didn’t have to wait until the Monday. The guys doing the work were very efficient and friendly. Anybody considering any solar or other energy improvements to their home please consider this company as you won’t regret it.

CRG were recommended by Emsworth Roofing to install integrated PV’s. From the first assessment by Tom Kirby, through to the installation and beyond, GRG were highly efficient, and were happy to fit in with the schedule of the roofers. All the CRG staff, from sales to administration to installation, were helpful and pleasant. On installation day GRG-Direct engineer Jim arrived first and fitted the roof panels. Then Adrian installed the 2x 5kWh batteries and inverter in the garage, while Damian carried out the required cabling and wiring. A substantial amount of work was carried out and the entire installation finished within a day, ready for the roofers to return and tile around the panels. Our heating and hot water are provided by a heat pump. The PV’s consist of 6 east facing panels and 6 west facing. The roof is low pitched at 20° so generates power - to varying degrees - pretty well from sunrise to sunset. Currently the batteries provide all our evening and overnight power. From mid April 2025 until now (12th July) the panels have provided virtually all our electricity with the exception of up to 5p some days, due to the kettle coinciding with another high power unit. In addition to running the house, and recharging the batteries, the panels export up to 3.8kW for several hours each day, meaning that we are make a profit which more than covers the standing charge. Obviously things will change during the winter with shorter days, more overcast skies and additional heating requirements. We will need to experiment regarding when to recharge the batteries, heat the water etc. We were having the roof recovered, so integrated panels were part of the process. However, as the panels sit on the roof battens, my feeling is that integrating panels, on an existing roof, would be a simple matter of lifting some tiles, installing the panels and replacing some of the tiles around the edge. I suspect CRG could arrange this simply and cheaply.

Blane and Jesse fitted our new heating and hot water supply. Amazing lads who did a fabulous job. Always polite, cleaned and tidied up after themselves. Kept us informed as to what they were doing and showed us how to work the new system.

I can't speak high enough about the guys who connected our solar system. Steve and Dean were very good, polite, freindly and efficient. And left us with the solar system working and a App to monitor the energy being produced. All explained clearly. Very happy.

Can't praise the lads enough that did the solar panels and heating in our housing association home, they worked incredibly hard , were respectful of us and our home, they also were knowledgeable and answered questions, they made sure we understood how to work everything and tidied up to a high standard, the whole process was outstanding. I wish I could remember all the names as they deserve to be acknowledged

The team turned up Monday morning for new heat pump radiators and solar panels , josh,Nath and bill where amazing lads worked well in my home were efficient , clean and had the whole house done in 3 days I really recommend this company and definatly this team made a stressful time alot easier for me and my children .. amazing and outstanding

Had a solar system installed last year. Speedy repair after the wind last weekend, they sourced the parts and repaired within a couple of days. Excellent service, amazing response time, no messing around.

I ordered a Zappi EV charger late last week from CRG Solar Limited. Their Electrician, Shani, arrived on Monday morning and worked hard fitting it. She did an excellent job which involved a lot of hidden cabling all around the top my garage.. The finished job is first class and waiting for a new car to charge on it in a few days time. Thank you CRG.

Thank you CRG Direct Solar Limited, I can highly recommend this company, I had a nine panel system with inverter and battery, location Isle of Wight The salesman Mike quoted me within 24 hours of my enquiry i requested a few changes and additions and he gave me almost immediate response. The instalation was completed in one day and they left it all clean and tidy. From placement of order the comminication from Melissa their Admin Manager was first class. A big thank you CRG team. Just a note to any future customer, I would recommend having bird guards fitted at time of installation.

I had my solar panels installed yesterday and from the start to the finish it was a very smooth process and everyone from CRG were so knowledgeable and professional and very tidy! The electrician (terrible memory with names) young lady was an absolute pleasure to have around. She was so helpful and polite , frank was also a great guy! Even down to the scaffolding company, they were great. I can’t recommend this company enough. Thank you all so much.

A first class service from start to end. The original quote, whilst not the cheapest gave much more than other competitors. The quote included features that were extras with other companies. The installation went well. CRG were efficient and tidy. Interestingly CRG were able to provide a higher capacity installation than any other supplier. An efficient company who have subsequently answered queries very promptly. Very highly recommended.

I had 10 panels and a 13.5 kWh GivEnergy battery installed recently by CRG. From the first consultation, they were different from the other installers that I talked to. They were realistic, flexible, and most importantly, their quote was not astronomical like some of the others. I know they typically install SunSynk batteries and inverters, but I wanted to go with GivEnergy due to their closer integration with Octopus smart tariffs. This ended up being no problem for them. They installed it all in a day, though the commissioning ended up happening the next day due to the large downloads and needing sunlight. The roofers and electricians were all fantastic. I was able to ask a lot of questions and get some good advice. The cabling work is very tidy. The system has been up and running for 3 months now, and I've been enjoying the benefits of the battery and solar generation to save a lot of money on energy even in winter.

We went to the market with a plan to purchase Solar panels with no idea of what we wanted, we made it clear that we were seeking other quotes and were trying to do a like for like comparison and that this "project" would only start, when funds were available which did not worry the CRG team and they answered all questions no matter how silly. When funds were ready the process was smooth as silk, the survey guy was very knowledgeable and took lots of photos. The installation team was a good group of people all with there own area of expertise and all made a point of shaking my hand when we met. the installation was with out issue and the team worked very hard to complete the job, the Scaffold even was removed with out us noticing. the team were extremely polite and well mannered. The final set up is exactly as described all paperwork emailed over we have the export meter sorted to should hopefully see the energy bill starts coming in we will see a big reduction in the amount spent with the power providers. CRG supplied and installed our solar panel system. We approaced a number of companies and CRG offered by far the best value. The installation was done in a day. The installers were considerate and easy to have around. The installation is very neat. We particulary did not want cables run around the outside of our house. They did a great job of hiding them in the eaves. The system has performed flawlessly since installed. Our savings are far greater than were quoted.

Very professional and efficient service right through for dealing with initial enquiry, site visits, arrangements for installation including scaffolding, the installation, post installation monitoring and the timely removal of scaffolding. They identified that the inverter initially fitted was not working correctly and immediately replaced it. Highly recommended.

CRG have installed Solar Panels and storage batteries at our village hall. We have no complaints regard the process from start to finish. Work was first class and site cleared of all packaging etc. We are that happy with them they will soon be installing air con/heating units to replace our Gas Boiler.

SUPERB SOLAR INSTALLATION. I have recently had 11 solar panels, Battery and Inverter installed by CRG Direct limited, all completed within a day, It is now up and running with an Octopus Energy outgoing fixed tariff. I have to say, I was impressed with the entire procedure in the way it was carried out. The electricians and roofers were really efficient, neat, professional and polite. Although I have dealt with Lance and Frank the owners of the company, who again were very helpful, I must mention Melissa in the office, she is great to deal with, very customer focused and always available to provide advice, guidance. and support, she is a real credit to the company and Im sure a valued member of staff, so a big thank you to her and everybody at CRG.

CRG Direct were great from the beginning to the end and nothing was too difficult for them. It was clear from the first visit that they would do an excellent job. When we had any concerns like the scaffolding failing to arrive on time we just contacted the office and the problem was quickly resolved as the scaffolding arrived within the hour. Would certainly recommend them to family and friends.

CRG Direct Installs Solar Panel Systems Our roof has recently had solar panels installed on it. We selected CRG due to their professional and effective approach. The detailed sales pitch was without exaggeration or jargon. The equipment showed up on schedule. The scaffolding was delivered promptly, and the installers showed up precisely as planned. As promised, the four-person crew completed the 12-panel, 10-kw battery, and inverter installation in less than a day. reliable, efficient, and within budget. I don't think you will find a better deal.

From start to finish, this was a stress-free professional relationship with CRG! From our initial visit from Dan to provide us with detailed product and process information ... ... to our extensive and eye opening site survey with Ash to work exactly what we could have (and couldn't have) installed ... ... to the scaffolders building the necessary (and dismantling it after) ... ... to James the roofer working his magic with a no longer wanted/needed Velux window (he even took it with him) ... ... to their amazing team of electrical geniuses who attached our panels to our existing system, sorted our 'earthing' and fired up the App ... ... to the lovely Victoria and Lisa in the back office who made sure all the aforementioned, and more, happened without a hitch. And last but not least, Director Lance Pearson for being approachable and flexible in all that we asked of him and his company ... every good team must have a good leader! We'll be asking them to come back for a second array installation ... but for now, we would definitely recommend anyone looking at installing solar panels to reach out to CRG for a detailed Q&A at the very least! :-) - They really know their stuff! CRG is a fantastic company. They are a polite, efficient, and happy team. From the beginning of the survey, the design was excellent. The various teams that arrived were very efficient, and the site was tidy. I would strongly recommend them to anyone. The final installation and production are flawless.

CRG recently completed a solar installation on my home. They have provided excellent service from the beginning of the process. David arrived to provide the quote; he was friendly, polite, and professional, with no 'hard' sell. Ash, their technical surveyor, was extremely informative and helpful, and he was able to make the best evaluation of the property and system in order to precisely tailor it to my needs. The installation was completed in one day by a very friendly, polite, and professional crew, and the system was operational by the end of the day. Their pre/post-sales customer service has also been excellent. Overall, an excellent experience from beginning to end!!

Highly Recommend! I'm glad we decided to buy our solar panels and battery setup from CRG. They even replaced our roof, which greatly simplified the process compared to attempting to work with two separate businesses. Everyone was helpful, kind, efficient, and informed, starting with Jack, the first sales consultant, and continuing with Melissa, James and his group, the electricians, Lisa, and even the scaffolding firm personnel. The location was maintained tidy, and we received a tonne of additional guidance on how to maximise the battery life, among other things, as we went. The entire roof replacement, installation, and connection of 11 panels with an inverter and battery took only one week. Thirty years is the guarantee period for everything, including battery efficiency.

The GRG team were excellent from the start to the finish of the process. They assessed our house to see what was possible and discussed their recommended options. A configuration plan and schedule for installation was agreed. Everything was delivered on time and excellently co-ordinated. The installation process was completed and fully commissioned as scheduled. The pre and post installation support was excellent, timely and helpful. The installation and commissioning teams were outstanding in every way and were a pleasure to have on site. From the start to finish it has been a real pleasure to work with the CRG team – well done to everyone. GRG are a company that genuinely cares about their customers. Great service from start to finish. It took a long time to sift though the cowboys that have entered this field now, and I knew from my first conversation with Frank that he was the man to deal with. The install team were brilliant, a good bunch of lads who were more than happy to help accommodate my OCD needs for the roof layout to be symmetrical. Both Frank and Melissa were extremally helpful, and guided my wife and I through the minefield which is Solar. I will always try and support local smaller firms over big flashy national names, and once again this has proven to be 100% correct. I can’t recommend them enough.
