Ian has always been fair with no hidden costs. He fitted my boiler some years ago and has serviced it every year since and always gets back to me whenever I text him.

I had a boiler service done by Ian today and I would definitely recommend him. Great communication before and during appointment and a thorough job done with the service.

Electric shower replaced by a new unit. Old unit was an absolute basket case of a bodge job, but lan sorted out everything perfectly. Friendly man, who explains things simply,so even if you dont know anything about water pipes, electric cables, etc, you will understand whats going on .lf you need some plumbing or electrical work, and you haven't got a clue who to ask, you should definitely give Ian a ring, and you wont reget it. Top man.

We have recently had our boiler serviced by Ian. He always does a great job. Punctual, friendly, knowledgeable and all at a very reasonable cost. From our boiler install to a leaking pipe on our sink, Ian is definitely the person to call. Highly recommended.

We used Ian for the first time last week. He came to service the boiler but found lots of faults despite us having it serviced every year. It hadn't even been installed correctly. Ian has completed a couple of jobs for me now and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him. Ian has serviced our boiler on a few occasions. Last week I got in touch with Ian as we had an urgent problem with our boiler. Even though he was busy, he fit us in the next day. Ian always keeps us updated on his ETA and is very courteous in his communication. He arrives promptly, does a thorough job and leaves the place immaculate. Ian talks us through any problems and how they can be resolved. We know we can rely on him. We wouldn't go to anyone else. **UPDATE** Ian attended my property today to service our boiler and take a look at an issue that I was having with my radiator. The service that we have received from Ian is flawless. He is incredibly reliable, arrives exactly when he states that he will and is very respectful. Ian explains exactly what work needs to be undertaken and why this is the case, he doesn't patronise. I really appreciate him asking permission to check radiators, go upstairs or enter rooms. Further to this, it's really kind that he takes the time to go through all the paperwork with you. I cannot recommend Ian enough. He is offering excellent value for money and his service is second to none. Thank you Ian!

Highly recommend Ian - I first called Ian almost 5 years ago to service my boiler and since have called Ian many times in emergencies and continue to use Ian for my yearly boiler services. Ian is a qualified professional, pleasant, reliable, knowledgeable and gets the job done without leaving a mess. I called Ian just last week whereby I needed a water pipe replacing urgently. Ian was able to make time that very same day and not only did Ian fix the water pipe he also helped me plasterboard the wall back to it’s original form which he didn’t need to but it really helped me out. I would defiantly recommend Ian if you are looking work to be done.

excellent communication from start to finish. i was booked in after getting a quote. given a good idea of date and time for the service. We were having issues with our boiler not igniting properly and Ian came out really quickly and sorted the problem for us straight away for a very reasonable price. He also sorted out some other issues with the boiler and cleaned it all out which he really didn't have to. Absolutely fantastic service. Ian came round and had a look at our toilet which was constantly running. He ran out to 4x shops just to find the correct part number which wasn’t in stock so he recommended me to order on Amazon. He showed me what to do and how to fit it when it arrived. Ian didn’t even charge me for the service and probably wasted a couple hours of his time running around for me. He went above and beyond! And I tell you what he was right. The part came the next day fixed the running water!

Ian serviced my boiler on 6th July 2023. It was found my central heating system was full of debris resulting in a blockage in pipes causing a pressure loss. Ian fixed the issue quickly and gave me some good advice on how to clean the system to prevent a reoccurrence of the problem. Very helpful.

Excellent. Responded with a quote to my enquiry immediately with all the information I needed (total cost, what this involved, next availability and an hour window in which to expect them). On the day, without need for prompting, I recieved a message to confirm they would be with me within 15 - 20 mins. On the day- very polite, informative and friendly, did the work efficiently and very helpful with a few house teething problems interacting with the installation of the new hive system. Couldn't recommend highly enough. If in doubt- book IJS trade- you won't be disappointed, I will definitely use again.

Ian recently fitted my new hob. Wad so pleased with his attention to detail that I asked him to refurbished my downstairs cloakroom. Straightforward any one would think. But with an old heating system Ian encountered problems when draining down the system. I say problems but Ian sees this as an opportunity. Great job done. Next job to replace an outside tap. Pipe work corroded. Again Ian took it all in his stride. A new tap fitted. I could highly recommend his work. I shall definitely be having any plumbing jobe carried out by IJS Trade Services.

We had a boiler replacement done recently. The quote was reasonably priced and work was done promptly. It is a neat and tidy work and the system works well. Didn't charge us extra for some of the additional work which had to be carried out. Very easily contactable for any queries and all the paper work including gas safety certificates were sorted out quickly. I
