I cannot recommend Peacock Heating and Cooling highly enough. I was dealing with virtually non‑existent hot water pressure due to an old gravity system and, after seeing their excellent Google reviews, I decided to give them a call. From the very first conversation, Des was incredibly polite, approachable, and knowledgeable. In fact, when I rang him, he had just completed an installation for another customer fitting the very same unvented cylinder I desperately needed which instantly gave me confidence I was in the right hands. Everything was installed exactly as quoted, with no surprises, and the quality of workmanship was outstanding. Honestly, I just wish I had found this company sooner. Des was quick and efficient when we needed a new boiler fitted after moving house. I guess this was a job that he wanted, but we contacted him three time afterwards regarding smaller issues that we needed help with and although he made arrangements to visit us, he never turned up. He wasn’t interested in the smaller jobs I gather. He won’t be getting our annual service contract or our recommendation.

I am extremely grateful to Peacock Heating. Des fitted a combi boiler in my dad's house. My dad had recently come out of hospital to find his old central heating system completely broken. Des came out quickly and spent time explaining things to my dad. His quote was extremely competitive and he kindly agreed to fit the boiler as soon as possible ( within 10 days). He arrived lon time and completed the work in 1 day ( other companies had not only quoted higher prices but had said the work would take 3-5 days). Des spent time explaining how to use the new system to my dad. He left the house in a clean and tidy state. My father was very pleased with the finished product and finds it easy to use. Can't thank enough the team from Peacock for coming through to our aid when out boiler decided to die on us. After searching for days for a boiler and a plumber , our house was now cold and we needed our boiler fitted and installed and we were fortunate to find the team from Peacock. Not only did they not fit our boiler literally hours after calling them , he managed to install and upgrade us to a digital heating system which is so convenient and efficient I'm so glad we found them , ain't gonna anywhere else for future works.

I've used Des and his team for the last two years. I found him by accident after someone else let me down and now, I wouldn't use anyone else. They have completed various jobs, including installation of a new boiler, new radiators, toilet replacement and general maintenance amongst other odd jobs. Des is friendly, honest, reliable and transparent when it comes to advice and costing. He's happy to talk you through things if you're unsure and will help weigh up different options with you depending on your needs. During the work Des amd his team are considerate, clean and keep disruption to a minimum. They are also very helpful! Today I had a pallet of flooring delivered which was left outside. Des could not have been more efficient and caring with our situation. We have two toddlers at home and our boiler broke, within less than 12 hours he was round at ours checking out the problem. In the end we needed to have a full boiler replacement, which was really reasonable cost wise comparative to other engineers/online companies. He rearranged appointments for us to ensure that we had a fully working system within 3 days. We couldn't be any more thankful to him for his service and professionalism. He even came back the evening that he'd installed the boiler, just to run through how everything works and how to set up our new thermostat controls. I chose Peacock Heating to replace a cheap, troublesome boiler which had been installed during a refurb, as they were highly recommended by my neighbours. The new boiler is a thousand times better than its predecessor both aesthetically and functionally, and connected to a smart thermostat. The installers provided a detailed explanation and demonstration of how to use the boiler and the app and really go above and beyond what is expected. I contacted Peacock Heating for a quote and Des was able to visit within a few days. Des came prepared with brochures detailing the new boiler he recommended after seeing how the current boiler was installed. A date was agreed and the work was estimated to take two days. The Peacock Heating team arrived and within one day had the old boiler removed along with the water tanks, and the new boiler installed upstairs with all pipes/electrics for smart thermostat installed tidily, I couldn't even tell the carpet had been lifted for the pipework. Des was also available for any subsequent questions I had in the following days. He was also kind enough to register the warranty for the new boiler, something that is easily forgotten by many. I love my new boiler, in a dashing black shine with a touchscreen. Have continuous hot water at high pressure now. Would definitely recommend Peacock Heating, they will be my first point of contact in future.

Returned from hols to a boiler that was not working. Des arrived late on a Saturday night, diagnosed the issue and was able to do a temporary fix so we had hot water. He returned a few days later with spare parts to finish the fix. We moved in our house just before Xmas. Previously we had a noisy (and, it turns out, fairly dangerous) boiler and now it purrs like a kitten. Great job by Des for a very sensible price. And the sticker on the boiler to confirm the date of service/remind me when to get it done next was a great touch. Our go-to person from now on!

From start to finish Des and Jordan put an amazing effort into the monumental task of replacing a 1960s/70s boiler system with a new Worcester Bosch combi, which was relocated into the garage over 2 days. I was really surprised how fast they got all the works completed and the high standard of their pipe work and finish. Des and Jordan both took time to explain the works they were completing and answered any questions along the way. After the works they demonstrated how the new boiler and smart Hive wireless thermostat works. They also replaced 3 radiators and a kitchen tap, their final quote was far less expensive than some I received and great value. I would have no hesitation in recommending their plumbing and heating services.

I can not speak higher of Des he really came to my rescue I own a rental property and the boiler had completely broken the engineer that the agents had instructed quoted £1000 more than was reasonable knowing we had an obligation to restore heating. Our boiler shut down, we have a newborn baby and Baxi completely let us down. Again. Being desperate I put the job out online via Worcester-Bosch website. I had 6 quotes. All were unreasonable in comparison and when I told them about Peacocks quote they all offered to price match, so they were not trustworthy in my opinion. Taking advantage of the fact I was in dire need. Des on the other hand was an absolute legend, popped over in his own evening time, as he didn’t want to price without seeing (the others didn’t) The same evening I had a very professional quote, which I agreed to. The next day Des collected the boiler even though he was on another job. The day after he and his colleague Jordan turned up not on time, but early! Brilliantly dismantled the old knacker and even disposed of it. The new boiler is phenomenal and perfectly fitted, excellent workmanship, and they’re great lads too. I called Peacock Heating after noticing a leak on my boiler and I knew it was on its last legs. Des said he was nearby so would see me the same day I called to take a look. He confirmed I needed a new boiler and talked through different options including Gas Boilers and Air Source Heat Pumps and budgets. He was really knowledgable, professional and not pushy at all. He said he could fit me in within the next couple of days if I needed and then left me with details so I could do some more research on the 3 boilers he suggested. I decided to go for the top of the line Worcester Bosch Combi boiler he suggested as it had come top in all the various reviews I read online, I had a few more questions about the boiler so messaged him and he answered them straight away. Des called me back the following day to see if I wanted go ahead and he would fit me in the following day. He turned up on time and cracked on with replacing my boiler without any break or going between any other jobs, within a few hours it was fitted, working and I had been shown all the controls. Really nice chap, helped me out and saved me having to repair damage to walls and flooring from the boiler especially because he managed to do the job within 2 days and worked on a Saturday. Good standard of work for a reasonable cost and I’m really happy with the result. Happy to use a good local tradesman in Sutton Coldfield, would recommend for anyone considering replacement heating system. I’ll be giving him a call when the boiler service is due.

Des was recommended to us and came round to service the boiler and fix a small leak. It was just before Xmas when everyone else was no longer taking on anymore jobs but Des squeezed us in on his last working day of the year. Boiler was serviced and the leak was fixed. All was fine until a few days later we noticed another leak (quite a big one this time). Des came round to have a look before he could recommend what to do about it. It's quite an old boiler so parts are discontinued. We were borderline looking at replacing it but in the end Des called up the manufacturer and bought a part to fix it. Saved us the cost of a new boiler and everything is working fine now!

Des was a pleasure to deal with! An emergency call out due to a gas leak from old steel pipework. Let down by British Gas and needed someone to repair asap as no central heating due to gas being turned off. Des resolved the issue in no time at all replacing leaking steel pipe with new copper pipe. Checked all appliances around the house were working after switching gas back on. Will definitely use Des in the future. Great service and price.

Our office boiler stopped working, I checked Facebook for local recommendations and Peacock Heating was mentioned quite a few times. I sent Des a message through Facebook messenger and he got back to me within an hour and agreed to pop over in the afternoon. Upon arrival he figured out the problem, explained what it was and fixed it. All done and dusted in under 20 mins. The invoice even included description of the problem and other useful info. Where others fear to tread. Our first engineers refused to fit the flue so no boiler installed. Two days after Des was informed he arrived on the evening to deliver the boiler, but no, he worked tirelessly for two and a half ours that evening to fit it. He finished the job early Saturday morning. Brilliant service, a charming energetic man. I would recommend him to any one, ( I don't usually do recommendations) Time keeping is exemplary

Wow what service !!! Des came to view the work last Wednesday, I had the quote that evening, and our lovely new boiler was installed on Saturday complete with new 22mm gas pipe all the way from the meter (which wasn't easy). All for around half the price British Gas wanted and a better boiler included. I would not hesitate to recommend Peacock Heating to anyone.

Des, Peacock Heating, did a great job when servicing our Bosch boiler. He provided an ETA, then arrived on time and was polite. When carrying out the service he explained the work as he was doing it. We were extremely pleased with the service, would definitely recommend.

What can I say about Peacock Heating, Des is both personable and professional, he is open to suggestion and is accommodating in resolving issues. On 27 Aug 20 Des arrived to replace our boiler, which was not without challenges. He set about the task quickly and very efficiently. When it came to challenges involving removal of the old flue, he explained the issues and listened to suggestions.
