Rob from Hancox installed our new boiler the other day after our old one broke. He was quick and efficient and did a fantastic job. The girls in the office were fantastic, their customer service is great, considering the time of year and the urgency of the matter they did all they could to get our new boiler sorted as soon as possible, thank you! I would highly recommend hancox and will be using them again in the future.

I am OCD about about maintenance that goes on in my house - the mess & chaos etc but I needn't have worried :-) Rapid Rob arrived, installed my new Worcester Bosch 4000 boiler & was gone after 4 hours, leaving everything spic & span, as if he'd never been here! What a brilliant engineer :-) British Gas quoted £2000 more for the same job & wanted to put up scaffolding in order to replace the roof flue - Rob skilfully managed to do it from inside the attic ! We recently had a couple of new radiators and two Air Conditioning units fitted by Hancox. Martin and Matt did a very good job, they were punctual, polite and very professional. The work was done with the minimum of inconvenience to us and each day they left the rooms as tidy as they could. Would highly recommend Hancox.

Hancox gas and plumbing have just completed a full refurbishment of our bathroom and the transformation from the old to the new is remarkable, all previous floor and wall tiling removed including all sanitary units previous shower enclosure which stood 5 inches above the floor now replaced with a enclosure at floor level making it so much easier to get in and out to achieve this the shower waste had to be installed under the floor to the outside wall all other pipe work some of which was originally at surface level now replaced under the floor ceiling skimmed and new LED lighting installed all walls and floor retiled.including wall panels in the shower cubicle .everyone was so friendly they respected our home and through the better than expected disruption worked with us respecting our needs at all times everything was very well coordinated tilers electricians plasterers etc and our thanks goes out to the whole team at Hancox with special thanks to Matt and Louie who I have to say worked tirelessly and so hard I cannot speak highly enough of our experience with this company and fully recommend them thank you all John and Julia Evans Solihull

Hancox have just replaced my old central heating boiler with a new combi boiler. Their engineers Rob and Luke carried out the work efficiently and skillfully, tidying up as they went. They worked tirelessly and professionally and I was amazed at the amount of work they put in. The new pipework in my airing cupboard is a work of art, so much so that my husband took a photo to show people at his work. I am undergoing treatment for breast cancer at the moment and Hancox had promised to carry out the work as quickly as they could to minimise the time I was without heat whilst I'm vulnerable. They exceeded my expectations. I had a lump in my throat when Rob and Luke came back from getting some materials with some heaters for me to borrow that night to keep the house warm. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Hancox and will certainly use them again.

We were very pleased with the service from Hancox Gas and Plumbing. They installed a new boiler for us and kindly moved the location, replacing old pipes (which resembled a level of Mario Bro’s) and simplified it. In a nutshell, very professional and well organised company who I would definitely use again.

Fantastic service, it was straight forward, very informative, the workers they sent out were efficient, friendly and easy to work with. They installed my new boiler in 1 day, it's been a week so far since the completion of the job, and I've had no issues so far. Have been using This company to service my gas boiler/ plumbing repairs for the last 3 years and have always had excellent service at a reasonable price. Yesterday I had the latest annual service carried out but also arranged for the engineer to replace my bathroom basin tap with one I had bought myself. Unfortunately my new tap was the wrong type so the engineer went and bought another one and fitted this. This was exceptional service. The engineer was also punctual, friendly and very professional. He also left everything very clean and tidy. I would definitely recommend this company.

Rob and Luke did an excellent job of installing a new boiler and an additional new radiator. It was not the easiest of jobs due to the different configuration of pipes exiting the boiler and an existing spaghetti junction arrangement of pipework under the bathroom floor where they had to connect the new radiator pipes to.This was all completed in a calm, professional manner. Workplace left very tidy. Nice friendly guys.

Amazing response to a broken boiler in this cold weather.Giving up his lunch break to help out,a Hancox technician came and we were diagnosed and repaired within 48 hours of our initial call for help.Thorough and completely professional in explaining the problem and its remedy,and leaving the broken item for us to see and explaining what he had done.Finally testing the boiler to make sure all was as it should be,before he left,and making sure we were happy with the conclusion.A more genuine and professional company will be extremely difficult to find in our current climate.Thank you so much for keeping us warm in winter.

Excellent company. Just had warm air and water heating installed. Great communication from beginning to end. Extremely friendly, helpful and great advice on systems of heating. Matt who installed the heating was meticulous in everything he did. Explaining every detail of equipment to us as it was installed. Matt's work was beautifully done showing great pride in the finished product. Really listened to our ideas and positioned the products to the best positions possible. The finished heating boiler and extensive piping was so neatly done it was like a work of art. My 30 year old warm air system finally gave up and was officially condemned. Alistair from Hancock Gas and Plumbing fitted me the latest modern unit and it's great to be nice and warm again. He is a very efficient worker, making sure pipework was as neat as possible as it's an awkward area to work in. He was on time and cleared all the mess up each day. All rubbish was taken away. I'm so thankful to have the job done before the winter, thank you.

Found my kitchen floor was floating due to leak under sink. Called Hancox Gas & Plumbing. Came out same day and stopped the leak.

Tom and George were very good when they replaced our radiators - very polite and professional, and worked efficiently. However, I've had to change my review from 5 stars to 3 stars. We've since had further building work and the plumbers we're using this time around pointed out how crooked and bent the pipes were, which we weren't aware of. In the photos, the one on the left shows the work left by Hancox Gas and Plumbing, and the one on the right is how it should look (and currently does look). Our current plumber has since fixed them, but it's poor form that the pipes were left in such a condition - it would have cost an arm and a leg to replace in an emergency.

We reused Hancox to come and sort our shower, which had given up the ghost and fox a leaky pipe! They arranged an appointment really quickly, fitted our new shower fitting with ease and professionalism. They know what they’re doing! Great finish to replaced shower too- Great guy who fitted it. We’ve come to really trust them and won’t go anywhere else now. Thanks again!

We contacted Hancox after reading their excellent reviews online and Lesley got back to me promptly and she was extremely helpful in advising us on products for having an update on our bathroom. The quote was sent out quickly and the price was extremely competitive compared to a previous quote from another company. The fitter named Ian arrived on time and has done an absolutely fantastic job on our bathroom , updating it and making it look modern without costing a fortune. I'm really fussy and I usually really dislike having tradesmen men in the house but Ian is lovely guy who obviously knows what he's doing and I honestly couldn't find fault in any of his work, his attention to detail is second to none! A fantastic company which I can highly recommend and who I will definitely use again in the near future. Thank you!

A year on, March 2021, I decided to use Hancox again and for a much bigger job. Bathroom and toilet refurbishment. The house is my family home and Dad passed from Covid in 2020 so the whole project was very emotive and required care on all fronts but also was more challenging than expected, the bathroom was rotting and damp. The outcome is beautiful and was successfully achieved by Hancox with an another outstanding experience. David and his team are excellent, especially Eamonn who put in extra effort throughout. I highly recommend Hancox! Review in March 2020 Hancox is an outstanding company. Very reliable, courteous and clearly Eamonn & George knew their stuff. This was changing the old style & size radiators to the new and involved adjusting the piping to fit the new size. This was done very well, so that the radiators look well fitted and tidy. They kept me informed at all stages and were very friendly & professional. I would highly recommend using Hancox. Thank you!

I rarely leave reviews but the service we have received from Hancox is too good to ignore! Dave and his team to provide all of our gas services. We have recently had 2 x new boilers fitted at the offices (worcester bosch) and both function perfectly as expected. As Hancox are approved fitters I believe we got an 8 year warranty which is more than long enough for us! So far the service has been exemplary which is far from what we received from our previous heating contractor. I would strongly recommend Hancox Gas & Plumbing if you need any gas related services.

From our initial enquiry, site visit including proactive suggestions (which we followed) to quotation to installation, was excellent. Hancox Gas and Plumbing installed a new gas central heating boiler and radiators, removed an old bathroom, re-plumbed the bathroom by moving the toilet and shower positions and fitted a new bathroom. The work was carried out by very courteous skilled professional tradesmen who were very tidy and when they came across “unforeseen problems” they were resolved without any fuss or additional costs. I would recommend Dave and his crew to anybody.

Great standard of work as always, this has been the 2nd install we have had done by Hancox gas and plumbing. I felt in safe hands with Dave as he took us through the different boiler options and what he would recommend for us to have. I had an old gas boiler removed and a new combi boiler fitted in a different location. There were pipes to be extended to the new location, and the old boiler and redundant pipework to be removed. The work was carried out very efficiently and tidily. All the rubbish was removed and the areas were left clean and tidy. I would thoroughly recommend this company.

I had job done by Hancox plumbing in 202 and found it very very difficult to contact David once paid in full the contracted amount. Job was substandard had lot of problems due to lack of experience/skills. I was asked to pay more and more. He didnt complete the job and didnt provide same material and service contracted. I found him very unprofessional. Please avoid. AVOID!!

David came around to check out our boiler, thankfully we didn't need a replacement but i was glad for hancox gas and plumbing turning up on time and letting us know the life expectancy of our boiler. Thanks!
