The door is beautiful, exactly what I was hoping for. The team of young fitters were really lovely and worked hard for hours on this old victorian door frame. I waited 7 weeks for the door to be made, and then communication about the fitting day/time could have been better. There was a small scratch made during fitting. This scratch took 3 months to get fixed. One could never tell there was a scratch now, so it was repaired well. I didn't mind waiting at each stage, as I was able to save more money to pay the remainder amount due, such bespoke composite doors are not cheap. I wish I had been told my chosen bee shaped knocker would not fit in between the glass panes, we had to place it very low (but it's cute and now little children can reach). Overall this worked for me very well, beware it's a slow process, which can take months, and double check all measurements to avoid disapointment. Mags
Ordered a new front door and was quoted 6 to 12 weeks, now been 15 weeks and still no installation date, the boss is never in the shop preferring to hide away in his office, not once have I had a call back after phoning!
We were recommended to House of Surrey for replacement wood effect windows. The entire process from Ray quoting, survey to fitting by David and Chris was truly professional. Our every whim was met with ease. I thoroughly recommend anyone to use this company . We shall certainly use them for our next project. Thank you all.
I honestly cannot praise the professionalism, price I was quotes and the work that was done for me this month. The lads who fit the widows Chris & Dave were firstly absolutely amazing,dedicated to the craft and the work they do. Thank you guys! You cannot beat local. Anglian quote was just ridiculous. I would go as far as and say Insulting. I would recommend HIGHLY to anyone who is think or getting work done by the House of Surrey.

House of Surrey have been absolutely amazing. We had our front door fitted in 2017 to a specific specification with stained glass lead decorations in the panels either side of the door frame. They followed our ideas and designs and fitted the door to a great standard. Now in 2023 the door started to become stuck on opening and closing. I called House of Surrey and they sent someone straight out who fixed it as good as new no questions asked. This is a fantastic reputable company who don’t forget about you even after six years. I highly recommend them and wouldn’t go anywhere else.
Had our windows fitted several years ago by House of Surrey. Gradually noticed a build up of damp during the winter months and mould on the walls, especially in the boys room which they share. Also noticed other houses in our road that had had their windows fitted before ours all had trickle vents to aid air flow. When House of Surrey quoted and we accepted, they never mentioned anything about trickle vents nor offered us the option (it wasn't a legal requirement back then and we knew nothing about windows). When I called this winter, when the damp/mould problem was at its worst, the House of Surrey owner told us that he was sorry, but he couldn't help. We are now having to pay a lot of money to get trickle vents fitted retrospectively.
I cannot praise the team from House of Surrey high enough. From my initial visit from Ray, the surveyor, Malcolm and the fitters. Absolutely outstanding! I had a visit from Anglian, Everest and Staysure and due to a long and drawn out legal issue suing a third party for damages to my property resulted in windows replaced… House of Surrey were the only organisation to maintain contact in almost 12 months trying to secure my business. I am still waiting for a quote from Anglian 🤣🤣, never heard back from the others…. Cannot beat local established businesses and I will be getting more replaced in the coming year. Absolutely over the moon with the end result and the quality of workmanship!! Well done to everyone!
Love this place. I have had them over twice for a quote as we are slowly upgrading the house and both times have not pushed for a sale. Instalation has been quick and a lovely result
House of Surrey did a fantastic job on our windows and I cannot recommend them highly enough. We spoke to Dave in great detail about aluminium windows and he had endless patience and was generally great to deal with. The fitter turned up on time and was efficient, tidy and personable. Our windows are lovely and I look forward to ordering more. The Fensa Cert arrived timely. Order your windows and relax..you're in good hands here and anyone who has been stressed out dealing with trades will know it's a relief to find an honest reputable company like this.
Good friendly staff quick response
We have been using House of Surrey since they changed all the windows in our house in about 1990. Since then we have used them regularly for things like a new back door as well as for new windows and doors in some offices we own. When we had a break in at home, they were brilliant when it came to both temporary and permanent new glazing in the damaged window. Cannot recommend them enough. No hard sell, great communications and installers who know what they are doing and "just get on with it"
