WGS did an excellent job job; they came promptly to give us a quote to remove a number of tree stumps, then came and completed the work within a couple of days and left the area clean & tidy. We were very happy with the whole process and especially the end result.

We have used this company twice. Both times they’ve been very professional and efficient. We received a quick quote and arranged services with a short time frame. Job was done very well and site left clean. Would highly recommended.

Fast, friendly and tidy. Professional tree care, gave great advice and were so competitively priced. Second time using this company and can’t recommend them enough.

Can't fault these guys they done a job for my mum ,trimming and shaping a holy tree ,then they cut back a tree at my property, all work carried at the the time and date given . Great job from WGS felling trees and stump grinding in front garden to prep for drive work. The team are friendly, efficient knowledgeable and always leave area clean and today! Also dog friendly! 🐶

29.10.25 Brilliant job again. Tackling very overgrown hedges, making them manageable and looking much better. Also a real good haircut for the magnolia which had shot in all directions. Excellent finish on all jobs. Professional, polite and went the extra mile to make it look very tidy. 20.10.22 A brilliant job. Made my very overgrown Magnolia look like a young tree again. No rough edges, no gaps or glaring holes. Because I was worried about it they called me to check what they were doing was what I wanted before bringing the crown down. A perfect finish and not a leaf left to clear up. Very polite and professional. We would definitely use them again.

If your team are going to go out drinking in your company orange hi Vis gear they should really behave themselves doesn't look good for your company when they are being disruptive in public

Asked wgs to come and remove three tree stumps from our front garden. Within no time the chap had arrived and made short work of the job, leaving the area very neat and tidy. The cost was also very reasonable! I will certainly be using there services again! Cracking job.

Absolutely shocking experience with one of your operatives driving on the estate near Morrisons Totton. Shame you don't have dashcam as you would be shocked that this is a reflection of your company. Hello needs to understand road signage and when obstruction is on his side oncoming vehicle already making the manoeuvre has right of way. I would personally not use your company after this experience nor recommend.

Excellent service! Massive hedge trimmed and now looks fantastic, tree cut down, and sawed into rings for me to chop into firewood and a couple of stumps ground down. All of the people I met from WGS were friendly, polite and professional, plus they did an amazing job. I highly recommend this company.

We had WGS come out for a quote and we were booked in within the week. We had 2 ash trees we wanted a significant amount removed from. The 2 chaps that came out were brilliant. They did an amazing job and we were very impressed with their effort! All the mess was cleaned up after we are left to admire the handiwork!

Wesley communicated well with us and organised for Dan to come along to complete the required work. Dan arrived at the arranged time and was professional as well as friendly. All the work was completed quickly and of a high standard. The work involved trunk and stump removal of a large established camelia tree (over 30 years old at least), as well as a number of various shrubs which had defeated our own attempts to remove them! The areas where the work was carried out were all left very tidy. We would highly recommend WGS Tree Services to anybody who wants a professional job done.

Job well done. Our conifers trimmed just right by great guys.

A big shout out to WGS Tree Services whose friendly and respectful team expertly removed a well-established conifer hedge for us in Hamble, Hampshire this week. The adjacent fence was left completely undamaged and the cleanup was so thorough you’d never know that they’d been there. Add in by far the most competitive quote we received and faultless customer service and you have a clear winner for all your tree and hedge requirements. Highly recommended…

I have dealt with Wes and his team numerous times over the years. They have always been professional and quick to resolve any issues that might occur. They originally helped me with a problem tree in my neighbours garden and have since then helped me with a problem bush/tree at the rear of my garden, cleared away garden waste when it was too large for me to clear. Always cleared up after themselves and left everything as it was Always quick to respond and sort you out. I would happily recommend him to anybody. Thanks again Wes

Spoke to Wes, received quote and job done within days. They left the site so clean and tidy, you would not have known they had been. We have already asked them back to do more work. 10 out of 10 local company.

Highly recommend WGS tree services - fantastic service from start to finish, combined with very good prices. I had two extremely large trees removed from the front garden (one taller than the house), both removed extremely quickly, with minimum disruption to neighbours and the site cleared. They then returned the following day and ground the stumps in the same quick and tidy manner. Also had 18 stumps and a tree removed from the back garden - despite the only access being through my house, this was again carried out diligently; they were so very helpful throughout and also gave clear explanations and also advice on aftercare, and again the site (both indoors and outdoors, left immaculate. Thanks so much guys, will always recommend you when the opportunity arises

Very professional friendly guys. Would definitely recommend.

Brilliant service, neighbours overhanging tree all sorted. Great job, all extremely clean and tidy. Very knowledgeable, definitely recommend and will certainly use again.

Sadly, we had to say goodbye to a 40 year old snow gum that had a fungal disease. WGS took it down to the ground in 40minutes, leaving everything else in the garden clean and tidy. They also left the garage equally clean and tidy in spite of having to drag all of the branches through it to the roadside! Crew were punctual, very professional and an absolute pleasure to have on site.

1, Dug out an old hedge that had overgrown 2. Prepared the ground 3. Planted new red robin plants about 2ft tall very satisfied with the overall job professionally carried out excellent service, professional & tidy. Happy with price overall very satisfied with service

Highly recommended! I have used this company several times in the past including one time when i need work done on a tree that had a TPO on it and WGS were brilliant. They dealt with the authorities from start to finish. The pruning was done to a high standard once they had sorted out the consent. Wouldn't go anywhere else!

Wes’s guys came to our house to cut back hedges and trees they were there for 2 1/2 hours got the job done were very tidy cleared everything away and took trimmings with them would highly recommend. They were very polite and did what we asked them to do.

Excellent service, clean, efficient and polite workers...thank you!

Rapid response on big jobs and small no messing about. Have used them throughout the year never let me down

W G S Tree Services did an excellent job of giving our silver birch tree 🌲 a short back and sides, reasonable price full tidy up afterwards thoroughly recommend them.

WGS have just cut off branches from a group of trees behind our house and 2 neighbours. They did not seek anyones permission to do so and some of the oak trees have TPO’s attached to them. When challenged, WGS told me they were allowed to dead wood the trees. However, dead wood does not have leaves attached. We told WGS to leave the trees alone. Poor quality cuts, bad workmanship, not carried out to correct standards and no consent to cut.

Thank you all at WGS for doing such a professional job trimming the tree line to and around our car parking . What an absolute pleasure to have such a knowledgeable and hard working team , the lads were very polite and super clean and tidy . I highly recommend WGS for any tree work.

Brilliant service, fitted me in a short notice, so tidy you would blinks they had been apart from the missing tree! Would 100% recommend

I hired a chipper (not via WGS) to remove a load of old trees on my property. It was hard work and the chipper not fit for purpose, I called WGS and for a price that was less than the chipper hire they sent 2 great guys round who did the job properly and in a fraction of the time it would have taken me. Offered to leave or take the chippings too.

Guys were bang on time and got working straight away. Left the garden tidier than before they came. Completed the work exactly to instruction and even put up with a young Labrador bounding around all day. Top guys top local company. Thanks

So chuffed with the amount of sun we are now getting into the garden early evening. Thanks to the WGS Tree Service team 🌳

First class service from Wes and his lads. Would highly recommend.

Excellent job removing a large ash tree and grinding down the stump. Very professional and friendly team who arrived on time and completed within a day. Brilliant job removing everything and clearing up. You would hardly know they had been! The small heap of fine woodchip from the stump grinding made a fantastic natural mulch for the garden beds, so a nice extra bonus. A very reasonable cost for the amount of work involved and the quantity of tree removed! Thoroughly recommended - thanks so much Wesley and the team.

Brilliant, professional service. Extremely reliable and thorough, provided a very reasonable quote and would definitely recommend within the Hants area as two other quotes were double the price! So impressed we've asked for another quote for another tree removal.

Great logs. Good service. Just a bit unclear whether they've received your order or not... 😁

Fantastic, efficient service and really reasonably priced! Thank you to all the team for you great work.

My Hawthorn tree had not been trimmed for years and because it was in the corner of my garden and overhanging three neighbour's gardens it was problematic. The guys were brilliant. They agreed a shape we were trying to achieve and achieved that shape perfectly. They had to go into one neighbours property and the neighbour was equally as pleased. All the waste, including from all three neighbours gardens, was collected such you wouldn't know they were ever there. Very pleased with firstly the price, then the three men, then their work and finally the clean up. Highly recommended 👌

Good professional services, reliable ,prompt and left clean and tidy, would recommend to anyone.

I had these guys complete some work for me recently and they’re honestly the best around. Very professional and have done such a good job I’ve already asked to be booked in for next year. They encountered some issues while carrying out some of the work but easily found alternative ways to ensure the work was still completed to a high standard. I would 100% recommend them to anyone looking to have some tree work carried out.

WGS did a brilliant job, the team were very nice and the site was left completely clear. I would definitely recommend them.

Blooming Brilliant service. Technician turned up with a monster Rhino track device, destroyed several similarly monster tree stumps with his remote controlled precision grinder (stumps approx 1m diameter across with flared out exposed routs) in our back and front garden, tidied all the sprayed around chippings up and gone again in a very quick time frame. Great job done by Wes and his team. Very friendly and professional. Tree trimmed beautifully and no mess left behind. Would 100% recommend them every time.

Work completed to satisfaction of customer after requiring a second visit to resolve. Some issues with communication and poor staff conduct on site during the second visit was a disappointment. This was bought to the attention of the business owner post works who apologised and assured me this would be dealt with.

Wgs did a fantastic job shaping/cutting the hedge outside our house. Brilliant service. Will be using again

Excellent value for money! very flexible and accommodating. The job was also done to specifications. Very happy and would recommend. Wil be using myself again.

I had good service from Wesley, very responsive to my initial enquiry, followed up quickly with quotation after visit to discuss the work, his guys turned up on time, asked to verify the works before starting, did the work quickly and efficiently, cleared up well then walked me through the finished work. Very pleased !!!

I contacted WGS after they were recommended to me. A tree in our garden had become unsafe. They came out to assess the tree very quickly. They then acted quickly to remove the tree.

The team arranged permissions and completed work with minimum fuss and mess. They arrived at the agreed date and time. Tree was cut with logs placed where discussed and site left tidy. Great job, thanks!

Quick, efficient, polite. Handled the TPO application with the local authority for me which was very helpful. Tree is looking great now. Would definitely recommend.

Great job left all tidy after, would highly recommend.

Quick to quote; competitive price; fitted us in to their schedule more quickly than expected. Job took two visits but all done within a day and site left tidy. Thank you.

Fantastic polite and efficient guys. Did amazing job and left the whole areas in clean and tidy condition. Have to add they had to remove debris through the house. Wow. Would not know they had been there!!!!. Thrilled with service from beginning to end.

Exactly what I wanted - prompt replies, good value quote, work completed quickly and the site left tidy. Can't go wrong! Thanks!

I cannot thank WGS and his team enough for the continuous prompt and professional service - I wouldn’t use anyone else. I trust his option and support the decisions he makes when he visits the properties I manage and reports back as to what needs doing. Whether TPO’s are needed, out of hours emergency help or routine maintenance this is definitely the company I would recommend. Thanks for everything you do.

The whole process couldn’t of been made any easier from getting a quote assessing what work needed to be completed then arranging a date for work to be completed. The work was very professional and from completion the work was more than I could’ve expected along with removing all branches.

A Cut above the rest!! Great job, completed competently, courteously, and tidily. Two very big trees expertly cut as required, and some other small trees removed for us. We are very pleased with the results.

Would definitely recommend Wes & his team at WGS, arrived on time , professional and carried out all work to our satisfaction

Great job done by these guys and they left me plenty of logs for my wood burner. Really appreciated the way they tidied up after they finished. Highly recommended!

Good efficient service at a reasonable price. The team did a good job and cleared up everything before they left.

Professional, tidy, all round great job!

Absolutely amazing job. Can’t thank Wes and his team enough for the amazing work they done on cut back huge amounts of the trees that were over hanging our garden. This was a huge job, Wes and his team worked incredibly hard, ensuring the trees were cut back to our boundary. We can’t believe the difference it’s made, they done a fantastic job. The minute they started by removing fencing carefully to the moment they left clearing up the garden from mess. The workmanship I can not fault. Real positive, prompt, knowledgeable, talented team. Many thanks guys.

Wow what an incredible job by these guys! Our out of control conifers have been beautifully shaped, an outsized eucalyptus lopped and the garden has been opened up massively. Very professional, polite, tidy and enjoying their work, I would definitely reccomend this company and will be asking them to come back next year.

I contracted Wes and his team to cut down a large Ash tree, as well as trim a full grown Bay Laurel. The whole experience of working with Wes and his team was great. The team arrived to schedule, were very courteous and kept me advised throughout the works. The works needed various council car parking bays to be suspended and Wes arranged all of this for me. I can highly recommend Wes and his team.

Really impressed by how helpful and efficient they were. They were reasonably priced and did a really good job cutting back my ash tree.

Superb service from the WGS Team for the removal of a large conifer, making such a difference to the garden. Friendly, polite, tidy and very reasonably priced, very professional indeed. Thank you all. Definitely recommend these guys.

Have recently used WGS Tree Services for tree and stump removal. Can’t praise them enough, the team had the correct safety equipment, worked quickly and efficiently and cleared up thoroughly afterwards. Would definitely recommend them and use them again..Thanks Wes

Well pleased with the service we received from start to finish. We now have all our garden shrubs and bushes immaculately trimmed ready for summer to begin. The guys who did the work, were friendly and polite and cleared up the garden when they finished. thank you!

Excellent, professional service from Wes and his Team. Turned up in foul weather and completed the job with no fuss and were very polite and helpful. Thoroughly recommend this top class firm. Thank you.

Quick and reliable service. Provided a quote within 24 hours and due to a last minute slot being available were able to do the work within a couple of days. Great team of guys provided a top service removing overhanging branches from behind the garden fence and removal of tree in the garden. Garden left tidy after work completed, would definitely use these guys again.

Another bag of kiln dried logs delivered together with kindling, only ordered 48 hours before! Great service, very friendly and helpful. The logs arrive in a bag not tipped on your drive so it’s so much easier and no mess after stacking. No need to go anywhere else and you are supporting a local company!

I needed a couple of trees pollarded, others cut back and a few bushes and shrubs trimmed and shaped. All work carried out neatly and efficiently and the garden left very tidy afterwards. Another great job by the WGS boys, excellent work and great service.

Blooming Busy landscape building and design, another large project that required specialist tree work to be carried out on 2 large very dead oaks, authorised and permitted by Fareham council. WGS Tree Services had to be called in again. A company I use on every job needed and Fareham council highly recommend and work with them also. Thanks to the propriotor and long time friend Wesley Garth Skinner , and the crew. Smashing job gents and happy customers 👍👍see you soon.

Brilliant service quick and fair quote followed by a clean and swift stump removal. Highly recommended

WGS supplied a builder's bag of top quality kiln dried logs, within a day of ordering. Burned beautifully.

Very efficient service. Trees pruned back. Excellent job. All cleared away and tidy. The chaps were friendly and polite. This is the second time I have used WGS and would definitely use again.

Amazing value for money. I would suggest to ask Wesley for a quote before going ahead with any tree job. We had people knocking on the door offering to do the same job for 3 times as much which we couldn't afford! Fortunately we decided to ask WGS for a quote. The two WGS guys who did the job were very courteous and professional. They discussed all the details with me to make sure I was happy with what they were doing. They left me some logs for my wildlife garden. Left the site very neat and tidy. Brilliant job. Neighbours were impressed.

Fantastic service all round, from start to finish. Quick to come and quote, the guys removing the tree were prompt, friendly and took the tree down in super quick time and left my garden nice and tidy. Would definitely recommend!

I asked for a quote and they were with me the next day. They talked me through the various options for dealing with my out of control Willow tree as well as how I can manage it myself once they had completed the work. The team that turned up were on time, polite and exceptionally tidy. The whole experience from start to finish has been fantastic. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending them to anyone!!

The guys made a great job of removing a large tree from an awkward corner of my garden. Turned up on time and made sure they cleaned up behind themselves. Great service

The chaps from WGS did an excellent job of trimming and tidying our Silver Berch. They were on time, polite and left the garden very tidy. The quote for the work was competitive and reasonable. Would highly recommend them. We will use them again. Ian & Fiona Youngs

Guys turned up on time, got on with the job. Unable to complete it totally as I added an extra bit in, so promised to come back later in the day to finish up and tidy up, which they did. Asked several times if I was happy with the work. Agreed I was. All very polite and efficient, would highly recommend. They were recommended to me by a customer who will use nobody else except this company and I have to agree with her. Mny thanks for a job well done.

Really good service. Easy to organise with Wes and the guys who did the work were brilliant. Really polite, prompt and just got on with the work without any issues. Would definitely use them again if needed and would highly recommend.

Great service, best price going with absolutely no compromise on quality. We only had a small job to be done and they very kindly got us squeezed in between jobs, rather than other contractors just flat out saying 4week wait for a couple hours worth of work. Did a great job taking down our tree and stump grinding out and left everything tidy, also gave some advice on other trees in the garden. Would definitely recommend, don't bother going to anyone else! If we need anything else doing will call up straight away.
