The team from Wes did an excellent job of cutting our leylandi trees. Very professional and cleared all the cuttings leaving the garden clean

The team did an exceptional job of dismantling a huge Eucalyptus tree in my garden (leaving the stump for me to turn into a table). Care was taken throughout the process to ensure that the fence and summerhouse remained intact. Very fast service whilst working safely in a confined space. My garden was left clear and tidy at the end of the day. Very impressive. I highly recommend WGS for tree removal at a fair price. Before and after pictures attached.

WGS did an excellent job job; they came promptly to give us a quote to remove a number of tree stumps, then came and completed the work within a couple of days and left the area clean & tidy. We were very happy with the whole process and especially the end result.

Can't fault these guys they done a job for my mum ,trimming and shaping a holy tree ,then they cut back a tree at my property, all work carried at the the time and date given . Just bought a bag of kiln dried oak logs and I have to say they’re the best logs we have and purchased. Amazing heat output and superb value for money.

29.10.25 Brilliant job again. Tackling very overgrown hedges, making them manageable and looking much better. Also a real good haircut for the magnolia which had shot in all directions. Excellent finish on all jobs. Professional, polite and went the extra mile to make it look very tidy. 20.10.22 A brilliant job. Made my very overgrown Magnolia look like a young tree again. No rough edges, no gaps or glaring holes. Because I was worried about it they called me to check what they were doing was what I wanted before bringing the crown down. A perfect finish and not a leaf left to clear up. Very polite and professional. We would definitely use them again.
If your team are going to go out drinking in your company orange hi Vis gear they should really behave themselves doesn't look good for your company when they are being disruptive in public

Asked wgs to come and remove three tree stumps from our front garden. Within no time the chap had arrived and made short work of the job, leaving the area very neat and tidy. The cost was also very reasonable! I will certainly be using there services again! Cracking job.
Absolutely shocking experience with one of your operatives driving on the estate near Morrisons Totton. Shame you don't have dashcam as you would be shocked that this is a reflection of your company. Hello needs to understand road signage and when obstruction is on his side oncoming vehicle already making the manoeuvre has right of way. I would personally not use your company after this experience nor recommend.
Excellent service! Massive hedge trimmed and now looks fantastic, tree cut down, and sawed into rings for me to chop into firewood and a couple of stumps ground down. All of the people I met from WGS were friendly, polite and professional, plus they did an amazing job. I highly recommend this company.
We had WGS come out for a quote and we were booked in within the week. We had 2 ash trees we wanted a significant amount removed from. The 2 chaps that came out were brilliant. They did an amazing job and we were very impressed with their effort! All the mess was cleaned up after we are left to admire the handiwork!

Wesley communicated well with us and organised for Dan to come along to complete the required work. Dan arrived at the arranged time and was professional as well as friendly. All the work was completed quickly and of a high standard. The work involved trunk and stump removal of a large established camelia tree (over 30 years old at least), as well as a number of various shrubs which had defeated our own attempts to remove them! The areas where the work was carried out were all left very tidy. We would highly recommend WGS Tree Services to anybody who wants a professional job done.

I have dealt with Wes and his team numerous times over the years. They have always been professional and quick to resolve any issues that might occur. They originally helped me with a problem tree in my neighbours garden and have since then helped me with a problem bush/tree at the rear of my garden, cleared away garden waste when it was too large for me to clear. Highly recommend WGS tree services - fantastic service from start to finish, combined with very good prices. I had two extremely large trees removed from the front garden (one taller than the house), both removed extremely quickly, with minimum disruption to neighbours and the site cleared. They then returned the following day and ground the stumps in the same quick and tidy manner. Also had 18 stumps and a tree removed from the back garden - despite the only access being through my house, this was again carried out diligently; they were so very helpful throughout and also gave clear explanations and also advice on aftercare, and again the site (both indoors and outdoors, left immaculate. Thanks so much guys, will always recommend you when the opportunity arises

Sadly, we had to say goodbye to a 40 year old snow gum that had a fungal disease. WGS took it down to the ground in 40minutes, leaving everything else in the garden clean and tidy. They also left the garage equally clean and tidy in spite of having to drag all of the branches through it to the roadside! Crew were punctual, very professional and an absolute pleasure to have on site.

Well all I can say what a fantastic company. The boys arrived on time, very polite and accommodating. No job was a problem for them. The two lads worked so hard all day, with only about 15mins break. The transformation of the garden, was amazing, and chipped all cuttings, so no mess left.Definitely be using WGS Tree Services again
Highly recommended! I have used this company several times in the past including one time when i need work done on a tree that had a TPO on it and WGS were brilliant. They dealt with the authorities from start to finish. The pruning was done to a high standard once they had sorted out the consent. Wouldn't go anywhere else!
Wes’s guys came to our house to cut back hedges and trees they were there for 2 1/2 hours got the job done were very tidy cleared everything away and took trimmings with them would highly recommend. They were very polite and did what we asked them to do.

W G S Tree Services did an excellent job of giving our silver birch tree 🌲 a short back and sides, reasonable price full tidy up afterwards thoroughly recommend them.
WGS have just cut off branches from a group of trees behind our house and 2 neighbours. They did not seek anyones permission to do so and some of the oak trees have TPO’s attached to them. When challenged, WGS told me they were allowed to dead wood the trees. However, dead wood does not have leaves attached. We told WGS to leave the trees alone. Poor quality cuts, bad workmanship, not carried out to correct standards and no consent to cut.
Thank you all at WGS for doing such a professional job trimming the tree line to and around our car parking . What an absolute pleasure to have such a knowledgeable and hard working team , the lads were very polite and super clean and tidy . I highly recommend WGS for any tree work.

Wesley came to quote to reduce two trees, an Acacia Pravissima which needs to be treated very gently and a silver birch. He is friendly and very knowledgeable and put me at ease immediately with his caring manner regarding the trees. The team who came who were also very helpful and knowledgeable, worked quickly and cleared the debris very thoroughly. Highly recommended!

I hired a chipper (not via WGS) to remove a load of old trees on my property. It was hard work and the chipper not fit for purpose, I called WGS and for a price that was less than the chipper hire they sent 2 great guys round who did the job properly and in a fraction of the time it would have taken me. Offered to leave or take the chippings too.
Guys were bang on time and got working straight away. Left the garden tidier than before they came. Completed the work exactly to instruction and even put up with a young Labrador bounding around all day. Top guys top local company. Thanks

Had WGS come to trim back and prune an oak tree and 3 conifers. A team arrived on time and worked solidly. Very happy with the work completed. Excellent job removing a large ash tree and grinding down the stump. Very professional and friendly team who arrived on time and completed within a day. Brilliant job removing everything and clearing up. You would hardly know they had been! The small heap of fine woodchip from the stump grinding made a fantastic natural mulch for the garden beds, so a nice extra bonus. My Hawthorn tree had not been trimmed for years and because it was in the corner of my garden and overhanging three neighbour's gardens it was problematic. The guys were brilliant. They agreed a shape we were trying to achieve and achieved that shape perfectly. They had to go into one neighbours property and the neighbour was equally as pleased. All the waste, including from all three neighbours gardens, was collected such you wouldn't know they were ever there. Very pleased with firstly the price, then the three men, then their work and finally the clean up. Highly recommended 👌

I had these guys complete some work for me recently and they’re honestly the best around. Very professional and have done such a good job I’ve already asked to be booked in for next year. They encountered some issues while carrying out some of the work but easily found alternative ways to ensure the work was still completed to a high standard. Blooming Brilliant service. Technician turned up with a monster Rhino track device, destroyed several similarly monster tree stumps with his remote controlled precision grinder (stumps approx 1m diameter across with flared out exposed routs) in our back and front garden, tidied all the sprayed around chippings up and gone again in a very quick time frame. Wow what an incredible job by these guys! Our out of control conifers have been beautifully shaped, an outsized eucalyptus lopped and the garden has been opened up massively. I contracted Wes and his team to cut down a large Ash tree, as well as trim a full grown Bay Laurel. The whole experience of working with Wes and his team was great. The team arrived to schedule, were very courteous and kept me advised throughout the works. The works needed various council car parking bays to be suspended and Wes arranged all of this for me. Quick and reliable service. Provided a quote within 24 hours and due to a last minute slot being available were able to do the work within a couple of days. Great team of guys provided a top service removing overhanging branches from behind the garden fence and removal of tree in the garden. Another bag of kiln dried logs delivered together with kindling, only ordered 48 hours before! Great service, very friendly and helpful. The logs arrive in a bag not tipped on your drive so it’s so much easier and no mess after stacking. No need to go anywhere else and you are supporting a local company!

Amazing value for money. I would suggest to ask Wesley for a quote before going ahead with any tree job. We had people knocking on the door offering to do the same job for 3 times as much which we couldn't afford! Fortunately we decided to ask WGS for a quote. Great service, best price going with absolutely no compromise on quality. We only had a small job to be done and they very kindly got us squeezed in between jobs, rather than other contractors just flat out saying 4week wait for a couple hours worth of work. Did a great job taking down our tree and stump grinding out and left everything tidy, also gave some advice on other trees in the garden. Would definitely recommend, don't bother going to anyone else! If we need anything else doing will call up straight away.

Just had large dead oak tree cut down to trunk and couple feet of main branches. The 3 lads doing the job turned up promptly and were unfailingly polite and cheerful despite the pouring rain. They worked well as a team and observed safety at all times. I was impressed with the way they took down branches overhanging neighbours sheds by swinging them with remarkable precision onto safe ground. All the wood was cut to manageable size and everything tidied nicely. They were enthusiastic about using the twigs etc to create a wild life habitat too. The job was competitively priced, done promptly and to a very good standard by some lovely people - would highly recommend. Thanks guys, I can sleep easy when the gales come now!
Very impressed with the selective crown pruning of several trees in our garden. The lads were very pleasant and did a fantastic job.
