Cherry tree felling to allow more light into garden and no more cherries rotting all over my lawn. Guys turned up on time. Checked that what they were going to do was what I expected. Set up equipment and carried out a risk assessment. Work began just after 8 o’clock. Tree was down by lunchtime and then a very thorough clean up took place leaving mine and my neighbours garden as the6 found them. Kept me up to date during the work. Thank you Beechwood.

Excellent advice given regarding a mature oak with a Tree Protection Order (TPO). Nathan demonstrated outstanding knowledge and expertise which was far superior to that of the local authority's Arboricultural Tree Officer and the other Arborists I consulted, regarding the condition, health and safety of the tree. I have had Beechwood Tree care round to trim some conifers, reduce some trees and to clear out a section of my garden that was overgrown with self seeded trees. Fred who came out and quoted was very polite and knowledgeable and has always been easy to get in contact with to ask questions about the work, which was fantastic. The rest of the team (Alex, Adam, Tom W, Tom C, Etienne & Rowan) were also very polite and did a fantastic job. When they finished they left my garden very tidy, which is always good! The reason I have given 4 stars and not 5 is because they accidentally broke a picket gate in my garden and did not mention it to me, however when I brought it up they apologised and straight away offered to pay for it to be fixed. There was also one of my conifers that at the end of the 3rd visit I noticed was dead, and again I was not told about this and I would have thought they must have noticed when trimming the conifers on day 1 & day 2. However when I asked Alex to check the tree he kindly offed to cut the dead tree down, but as it was the end of the day they could not cut it into small bits and take it away, which was a shame. But overall it was a positive experience and I would happily use them again.

Worth every penny. We used Beechwood to pollard several trees in our home which is in a conservation area. Whilst the quote was more expensive than some other companies, I would definitely recommend going for them over any others as they have a huge amount of knowledge and professionalism, and the whole thing was managed well from quote to completion. Huge thank you in particular to Alex, Tom W and Adam who were great.

Highly professional, tidy and friendly throughout. I would fully recommend. Started with a full discussion on work required, which felt very much that we were listened to with advice given and a plan agreed. This was followed up by a detailed quote with photos to confirm the work required. On the day the guys arrived on time, were very polite, knew what was required and worked carefully and thoroughly to complete it. Good consideration for neighbours and clearing of waste. There was follow-up after the work to ensure we were happy with what had been done. I could not have asked for a more thorough and professional approach.

Fantastic service, worth every penny. The quote, I admit did seem expensive, but then when you see the professional vehicles and shredder, professional protective clothing, professional Stihl tools driven by li-ion battery packs, which keep the noise down, so much so that I slept through their arrival…. You know you made the right choice. Today was the first frost this winter on Pinkney’s Green and the team was toasty in their team clothing, they even had a microwave to heat up their lunches in the back of the van. We did of course take them hot cups of tea a couple of times. It was amazing the bulk of branches they cut off and shredded into the back of the lorry and whisked away. I am young and fit still, and have the tools and would be able to do the job, but would have to take the week off of work to get rid of all the off cut. The team of young men was courteous, friendly, fast and efficient. Thank you Flynn, Tom c, Archie, Oli and Solomon. I’d also like to congratulate the owner of Beechwood on the way the team is looked after and the investment in the equipment. That can not have been cheap. With the trees that have been cut back we no have the winter sun streaming in through our south facing windows. Bliss for these winter months and Christmas, thank you. Buy a solution , not a problem- go with Beechwood!

Incredible experience with Beechwood Tree Care. Nathan initially came out to quote and was so helpful with my many questions! We had a number of huge trees to take down to stump level in close proximity to the house. Highly recommended company of excellent people This company comes highly recommended with exceptional individuals. Over a three-year span, Beechwood Tree Care assisted us in obtaining permission to remove a tall, unsafe protected tree from our small garden. Despite delays caused by local authorities, the appeal process ruled in our favour. The tree removal was completed to a very high professional standard a few weeks ago. The reason I cannot give a 5-stars rating in good conscience is that a honest mistake by the company has caused a significant delay in the application process, but we have been compensated and they reassured us, that they have implemented changes in their office procedures to prevent this happening again. We highly recommend their services for any tree or garden works.

Tom, Mike and Karl did an epic job on our Willow tree. They also removed and cleared some other smaller trees/shrubs and, as always, left the garden immaculate. I’ve been using Beechwood for 15 years and i wouldn’t trust anyone else. They are knowledgeable, professional and fully insured, which should be a serious consideration for anyone needing this kind of work, knowing the risks involved. See you in 3 years for a re-prune of the Willow. Ps, you left your water bottle here!

The guys just did an amazing job trimming down our massively overgrown hedge - it looks great and all cleaned up nicely too. A great, speedy and friendly service.

The team pollarded a very large mature Horse Chestnut tree over a period of three days. From initial site visit to completion of the work, the team displayed the highest level of professionalism. What was a fairly complex job was completed with full regard to safety and tidiness, leaving the property/garden in a clean & tidy state. They payed attention to avoiding unnecessary damage to greenhouse (sitting directly under the tree!) and borders and lawn. A particular mention to Fred (who spent most of the three days up the tree), and Harry and of course the rest of the team. I would highly recommend them.

Good response to request for quote. Date and time for survey was defined and quote was acceptable. The date and time for the work was defined. The workers arrived early and they started as soon as they could. They did exactly what was agreed and worked professionally and quickly. They had all the right equipment, powered by battery, so were quiet. The work was reducing the height of an eucalyptus tree and cutting back a rose hedge. The garden was left free from debris. Excellent work.

I just had a winter prune of my trees and hedges, the latest of many by Beechwood Tree Care. Carl and Tom did an excellent job. They let us know when they were coming and arrived on time. They took the time to go through all the details on the quotation with us and checked at intervals to ensure everything was done exactly as we expected. The garden was left very tidy and all the pots etc that they moved were put back in place. My husband is particularly pleased by the sculpted lines of the hedging at the back. I got some good advice from Carl on future maintenance too. I look forward to seeing them again! I also found the quotation visit by Neil very helpful. It was very interactive and it's good to have the photos and descriptions of the work so that there was no doubt what we had agreed. Likewise the copies of the company's insurance details.

The Beechwood team came to cut back a yew tree in front of my property. This has been done several times over the years by other companies and it has always finished up virtually bare for a couple of years before recovering, so that was what I was expecting again. However, the Beechwood team trimmed it heavily, as requested but still managed to keep it green. I am absolutely amazed and neighbours have commented on how different it is compared to previous times. No idea how they did it but I am delighted and very grateful. Brilliant service with excellent results.

The company carried out a detailed review of our requirements and gave helpful & knowledgable advice on caring for our trees. They provided a quotation promptly and carried out the work to our satisfaction, ensuring all debris was cleared and we were happy with what had been done.

The guys were amazing. Watching them work, they have some serious skills. Couldn’t get any machinery in the garden so they had to take it down manually. It’s a small garden but they didn’t disturb a thing and let things down in a controlled manner. They put up an owl box and two other bird boxes, also did a great job of making the top of the tree look like it had been torn so it attracts insects and birds. Sounds easy but saw that it isn’t. Was cleaner after they left than before they started. Would totally recommend.

The men were a credit to the Company, hard working especially struggling through the rain on a job that was not easy. They were always willing to please, friendly, professional and indeed we were most impressed in the way they tidied the site before they left. We have used the Company for many years and they have never let us down.

I recently again used the Beechwood Tree Care Team after using them previously for large tree pollarding and trimming back work. My experience of using Beechwood was a pleasure from beginning to end. It was not a straight forward job as the site had limited access and was on a riverbank The survey determined exactly what work needed doing, the quote was prompt and accurate, the crew were on time and worked really well throughout the four days they were on site.
