Can't fault Guildford Tree Surgeons - very helpful, a good and tidy job and very reasonable quote. All good!

The team did a great job trimming our hedge back to the edge of the pavement and dealing with some very overgrown shrubs. They were easy to liase with and cleared up really thoroughly. Would recommend!

Just had Guildford tree surgeons round yesterday. They did a terrific job in terrible rainy conditions! Trimmed hedge, took lots of dead wood out of huge Ash tree, reduced Eucalyptus tree and Laburnum tree. Very friendly crew, tidy, cleared everything away and at a very reasonable price. We recently had an oak tree cut back by Foremans Tree Specialists. We were really pleased with the work done. It wasn’t an easy job as there were large mature shrubs to avoid underneath. I've used many tree surgeons over the years and Guildford Tree Surgeons are top of the list. They arrived on time, did a superb job of removing ivy from an oak tree in a few hours that another quote suggested would take days. There is no trace of the ivy now and the tree has virtually no marks from the work. They left the garden tidy with no residual cuttings. Brilliant!

Oliver and his team from Guildford Tree Surgeons arrived first thing this morning and did not stop working all day. They were extremely polite, knowledgeable, patient with my queries and did an amazing job of tree height reductions, tree trimming, large hedge reductions and trimming and also felling what ended up being a dead tree. Nothing was too much trouble for them and they left everything absolutely spotless! I wouldn’t hesitate to use Oliver and his team again and will definitely recommend them to friends and family!

The guys did a great job; the tree was in a neighbour's garden but overhanging our property. They were careful and considerate of all properties and did a great job tidying up, leaving everything clearer than it was initially!

I was really happy with the work Oliver and his team did recently to take down a beech tree in my back garden. They were all very friendly, did the job in good time and left the garden nice and tidy. Oliver clearly knew his stuff and explained everything very well, in a way that was easy to understand even for someone like me who doesn't know much about trees, and it was overall very little hassle! Ollie and his band of treefellas did another outstanding job for me. The journey is so simple and hassle free. Ollie turns up Ipad in hand and walks through what you want doing. By the end of the walk he emails you a clear and competitive quote. He deals with the tree people at the Council then agrees a date for the work. In the day the team turn up, buckle up and chop down. These guys did a fantastic job on trimming our conifer hedge and a couple of other trees as well as removing one. It’s not an easy garden to work in and the hedge had been cut badly in the past making it more difficult. They cleared up beautifully and the garden was tidier when they left than when they arrived! Wanted woodchip for our allotment site. Telephoned Mark on 1st July and left a message. Mark telephoned me back that evening and, as promised, delivered woodchip to our allotment site at 09:30 the next morning. (Lucky for us he had some he needed to offload). Very professional, reliable and helpful. Even told us not to use the woodchip for at least three weeks as it was too new. Also told us what trees the woodchip came from. Will definitely be asking Mark for more woodchip in the future.

We had Mark and Kieth our to remove a small ash tree and a couple of stumps. One of the stumps was shall we say interesting. The tree had grown over a metal fence and had grown against the foundation of next doors patio. Kieth worked like a trooper and actually managed to get the entire stump out. Which he wasn’t sure would be possible. They turned up early, were polite and professional. They left the place in a tidy state. If we need anymore work in the future we know who to ask. Fab service from the first message to written quote and work done within 2 weeks. Work included dead wooding & reducing crown on a very large old oak; cutting back one neighbour’s rowdy conifers to the boundary which was quite difficult as it is behind a high cabin: face off a long row of Laurel and trim and face up the other neighbour’s prickly Hawthorn. We had a very tall ash tree that was diseased at the base and in danger of falling onto our chickens. Mark and Rachel did a fantastic job of removing the tree in a safe manner. I was very impressed by the skill involved in taking the tree down branch by branch so that no damage was done to the surrounding area They worked very hard, and the work was completed in just a day. The main limbs of the tree were cut by Mark into sections which I could then split into logs for the fire. Would whole heartedly recommend Guildford Tree Surgeons.

We were faced with a 20 metre high diseased ash tree in our woods but right on the boundary with our neighbours. There was the imminent potential for the tree to fall into our neighbour's garden and crush fruit trees and chickens.The tree could not be safely climbed and taken down in sections but Mark was able to fell it with such precision that it safely landed in our woods between other trees. This is the first time i've ever looked for tree surgeons in Guildford as it's the first house I've owned, but I bought it with two large beech trees that needed removing pretty much immediately. I got my quote on Monday and the job was completed by the end of the following week. My garden is actually cleaner now than before they started which was a big plus!!
