A. Bird Tree Surgery Ltd

Excellent job from start to finish. All cleaned up after removal of tree. Would use again.

Communicative, courteous and pleasant staff. Great coordination during the whole process. All work done as required, including tidy up, and completed quickly.

We've used Alex's and Tamsin's company on several occasions as we have a few mature trees in our garden which we love and which we try to maintain well. They always do a fantastic job for us, responding quickly to our enquiries, submitting planning applications as necessary (we live in a Conservation Area) and scheduling the work as quickly as possible. Their teams on site are always marvellous, so friendly and positive, checking with us on the extent of pruning and shaping we'd like and clearing up properly afterwards. We don't use anyone else.

What a fantastic team who did a wonderful job with a pollard of my Holm Oak and reduced a dead tree. There knowledge and care for nature was refreshing and such a polite team . Thank you would recommend 110%. Before and after pics with a great balance for regrowth of my beautiful tree ♥️

Another great visit from A Bird (to trim 2 x trees) - polite, friendly, helpful staff who completed the work swiftly, checked we were happy and tidied up well. An all round positive experience, we'll always come back :)

These guys are the business. They know exactly what they are doing and they leave the garden really tidy. No hestiation in recommending them.

Very efficient, knowledgeable and friendly company, would highly recommend.

Quick response to check a trade query, arrived on time, were professional and did a great job, would use again

It's the second time I've used these guys and they're brilliant - my enormous cherry tree needed hard pruning and crowning, reducing the height by a good 10 feet or more and shaping the crown. My small garden is crowded with lilac and other shrubs and pots, so manoeuvring is not easy, but it didn't pose a problem. They moved and replaced pots and cleaned up beautifully afterwards. Highly recommended!

Great company workmanship and communications ,have used several times now and will definitely use again.

Absolutely Amazing and the nicest people. I didn't hire them, they was working on my next door neighbour, I asked how much it would cost for them to take some garden waste from a tree I had cut down over the past 2 weeks ( it was only a tiny tree) and they didn't charge me a single thing, they even cut down the last tiny bit of the stump that was left, it has made me so much more relaxed and taken so much off my shoulders, they are all absolute life savers!!! And absolutely love a cup of tea Thank you all

I can’t speak highly enough of Luka and Chester - they undertook some heavy pruning on a massive Gengko tree. Nothing was too much trouble, knowledgeable and efficient. Also left the garden and alley way immaculate. Thank you!

An Excellent hedge trim carried out today. Very professional job at a very competitive price. The 3 workmen were very polite and friendly. Would highly recommend A Bird tree surgery.

Excellent service throughout. We would definitely recommend this company, Totally trustworthy, efficient and on time.

Emailed this company for a quote they came round both times really quickly explained what they were going to do. On the day of the job they arrived and clarified what was being done for on with the work to a high standard made more light in the garden and ensured everything was left clean and tidy after. Would highly recommend this company thank you

Excellent service as always from a pleasant team.

Excellent service from start to finish. Having had work done by them previously, I was very happy to book them again and once again they did not disappoint. Clear communication, punctual, and very respectful of the property and surroundings. The work was completed safely and to a high standard, and everything was cleared very well before they left. I would not hesitate to recommend them.

I’ve have A.Bird about 4 years ago to trim the trees that were quite high and they did a fantastic job, this time around I called them back and they came super fast and were super prompt. They did a fantastic job and they really cleaned up after themselves and left my garden better than they found it. They are such an amazing company and I’m going to keep going to them whenever I need it. They are outstanding!!!!

Quoted, booked in, and completed. Quick and easy with a competitive quote. Thanks for your help!

We have had A. Bird Tree Surgery Ltd trim a hedge and other shrubs for the last few years. We have always been very impressed with their work and the friendly team that come out to do the work. We would definitely recommend them.

Superb. The team were professional, expert, courteous, flexible, tidy and fast. All you need to do is give them nice coffee. It was also the cheapest quote we got, so great value for money too.

Quick and efficient service. The garden was left tidy after the work was carried out. We kept some logs but the rest were all taken away. Thank you.

Called to arrange for my Willow tree to be pollarded. Friendly, straightforward team. Seamless service from start to finish. Would highly recommend.

A Bird Tree Surgery were exemplary, from quote, through communication, and during the surgery. The team pollarded two limes like the well oiled professional team they are. Very impressive. Would highly recommend

Excellent, friendly service. Highly recommended

2nd time using A Bird, won't be the last. Can't fault the service. Alex came out and provided a clear quote, time frame and appointment. His guys are professional and knowledgeable with great time keeping and the garden was left immaculate. Would highly recommend.

Another great job by A.Bird Tree Surgery. Very knowledgeable and professional lads that did the job. Very happy with the work and highly recommend them.

I have worked with contractors for over 30 years in my professional life and never had to deal with a company as unprofessional and unpleasant as this. This is the first, and I hope the last, time I have left a negative review for a contractor. Their poor communication led to problems and, when I complained that they hadn’t done the job as their quotation, I was misled and threatened with legal action. I took them to the small claims court and they were ordered to refund me £800 plus court fees, (which they did). Claim number 638MC962

We had a great experience! Alex came out and gave us a quote. He was extremely knowledgable and arranged for the work to be completed promptly. The team were extremely friendly and the work was completely to a very high standard, within the agreed timeframes. I’d highly recommend A Bird Tree Surgery!

Excellent family run business, great team and very happy how professional they all are ! "It's a yes "from me ..!

Great job done by a professional & friendly team. The team worked hard throughout their 2 visits, checked we were happy with the results & cleared up well before leaving. Would definitely recommend

Quick communication and great service.

Used Alex and Co to remove and trim 9 large trees all subject of TPO’s. From start to finish they were brilliant, going through planning permission and communication. When work started the team, who were very friendly and cheerful, arrived promptly and worked really hard for three days sometimes through difficult situations. At the end of the job they cleaned up really well, (including neighbours gardens) you would hardly know they had been there. We would like to say a big thank you to Alex, Tamsin, Robbie, Steve, Luca and the other boys who all did a great job. We would absolutely recommend them.

Brilliant company who did all the work required efficiently and effectively. Very pleased with the results and thoroughly recommend this company for any tree surgery or hedge work

Highly recomment Alex Bird Tree Surgery. I cannot rate them high enough. From the first appointment, to the day of removal of the tree, on time, professional, and just nice people. Including the guys on the day who did the work. Thanks All.

This the second time i have used this company. They were punctual, efficient ,professional and fairly priced. I had a number of trees removed and had the stumps ground out, one was heavily pruned back exactly as i had requested. The site was left cleaner than before they had arrived. I would have no hesitation in using them in the future.

absolutely fantastic service.Highly recommend. a great professional team. did exactly what was required 10/10

Excellent job from a well qualified and professional team. Big spruce pruned (first time in years) and it looks 100% better. Thanks lads!

Excellent advice, reasonable price, friendly, polite and tidy work. Would hire again.

Thank you! An excellent job trimming the Cherry Laurel hedge. Punctual, polite, friendly & professional.

Another excellent visit from the knowledgeable and professional Alex and his team. I would thoroughly recommend this company!

A Bird Tree Surgery is a first class company. They are professional, helpful, friendly, and do an excellent job. They leave the site clean and tidy, too. I can’t praise them enough, and I’d recommend them to anyone. With everything costing so much these days I thought their price was very reasonable and well worth every penny.

Excellent work, timely, polite, cleared up completely, good value for money, they know their business, would recommend

My garden and neighbours garden. We needed the holy tree to be trimmed down quite a lot as it had grown a considerable hight in the back garden. Trimmed the tree in front garden. And trimmed up over grown shrubs in my neighbours garden and trimmed some in my garden where needed. The gentleman came worked very hard. They tiedied up as they went. I would recommend them as the were very knowledgeable and very polite and helpful too.

Not a bad job although not as good as last years.

Just had our trees cut back by this company. Absolutely A* service. Work done quickly and efficiently, all left neat and tidy (including the neighbour’s garden). Reasonable price. Highly recommended.

Can’t fault the service. The guys were very respectful, polite and very professional. Safety was a priority and they made an excellent job of our walnut tree. Would totally recommend. 👍🏻

Extremely helpful and efficient. Very impressed by their caring approach and practice regards the wildlife impacted by tree felling/reduction.

Just quite concerned they are using old Kent Trading Standards logos. TS got rid of Checkatrade years ago because of the high number of cowboys signed up it's hardly something you want to link to your business. Current TS logo MUST display the traders ID number and all current traders know this. It could just be an old mistake not remedied by the company. Or it may be more sinister so be aware. Reported to TS for safety.

Excellent job...quietly professional. The two-man team apologised for being late (by one minute, would you believe!!) and then proceeded to produce a beautiful shape to our 30ft flowering cherry tree. Thoroughly recommended.

First class. Did a really good job oon our eucalyptus. Left the garden tidier than when they arrived. Would definitely recommend.
