We had a superb experience from Jacob and his team. From the initial quotation through to competing the work they were extremely polite and professional. Very knowledgeable, professional and hardworking. The other standout for us, was how clean and tidy they left our garden and driveway when the work was completed. Highly recommended.

We contacted Jacob about removing some trees and a section of large overgrown thicket. He came out that evening to look at the job and the team started the following week. They arrived promptly, removed everything efficiently/safely and did a great job - would recommend!

Have to say...these guys are great! Sketchy brief from me, followed by great on-site assessment by Jacob, and then three great guys on site managing an absolutely brilliant finished job. A pleasure to deal with from start to finish.

Extremely impressed. Work was professional, to a high standard and completed in good time. The work ethic of the team was outstanding - everything was left perfectly tidy.

Jacob and his team, gave great advice on my hedge cutting and some tree trimming. They did a great job, and were efficient and tidy, with all the cuttings shredded and taken away.

Great service reducing very large bush/tree at the end of our garden. Efficient, friendly, good price. Would definitely recommend

Jacob and his team removed a tree for me yesterday and did an amazing job. Arrived on time, very professional, cleaned up brilliantly, would 100% recommend!

We are extremely happy with the service provided by Bishop’s Waltham Tree Surgeons Ltd. They are a truly professional, careful and highly experienced team. They cut down two large trees for us with great care, protecting both our roof and our entire property throughout the work. You can clearly see that they really know what they are doing and take great pride in their work. Everything was completed perfectly, efficiently and with great attention to detail. Honestly, we have never seen such a well-done job before. We are very grateful for their hard work, professionalism and the friendly atmosphere throughout. We whole heartedly recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable and trustworthy tree surgery company.

Great job done by Jacob, really appreciate all his hard work. Jacob went above and beyond helping us out! He arrived the same day as my enquiry to have a look and provided a quote which was very well priced! All booked in and work done within a week! 4 stumps removed and went the extra mile of tidying up the area as discussed. I would recommend him and this company to anyone! Thank you Jacob and the team 🙂

From the initial quote to completing the work I couldn’t fault the guys one bit. Very efficient and tidied up after.Thank you for a job well done!

Jacob and his team did a great job of clearing the verge outside my property. Left everything looking very neat and tidy.

Jacob responded promptly to my enquiry to remove two tree stumps from my garden, visiting to survey the work required and providing a quote in the same day. The work was completed less than a week later. Jacob was polite, friendly, took the time to explain how the work would be completed. Jacob and his team completed the work to a high standard, leaving my garden tidy and the cost was very reasonable. I have no hesitation in recommending Jacob and his team.

From Graham Blighe. Re Poplar tree removal, April 2026. I echo all my brother Tony said in his review. Jacob Allen is a nice chap and it was a pleasure to meet him. I am amazed that he and his team got so much done in just three days. And the site was left very tidy with no debris. BW Tree Surgeons set the standard that others should follow. A fantastic job! Many thanks

Use this company Jacob was so lovely and helpful. I called him in the off chance of getting logs for my maincoon kittens to use instead of furniture. He was brilliant offered logged then dropped round for me. Charge very reasonable kept in touch super friendly and kind. If you need work this is the company to call Bev Dodds

Communication was spot on and they turned up and did the work when they said and in the time frame discussed. Very professional. Not only the job itself but the clean up afterwards. Will definitely use them again.

Really great service - used to remove a large tree from our back garden. Quick to quote, book in and left our garden really tidy. Would definitely recommend and would use them again. Thank you Jacob and team

Absolute champions! Came over to quote after 5pm and stayed till after 6pm to wait on my gf to give her a run down of the TPO tree work. Jacob is very articulate with his verbal illustration so we decided to add on hedge trimming and other small trees removal with stomp grinding. Jacob and the two Josh's was very friendly and did an amazing job. Our neighbours even asked on day if they could do theirs too! Photos of the before and after speaks for themselves. They went above and beyond their quote for us. 100% recommend these guys and would use them again in the future for other parts of our garden. Thanks guys!

What a great job these guys did of my hedge . A lively crew, friendly, polite, and tidy . Cant recommend them enough

Couldn't recommend Bishops Waltham Tree Surgeons enough! Jacob is very efficient and amazing at communicating with clients. I regularly use him at my Property Management company and i couldn't ask for better service or workmanship.

I needed a recently felled sycamore stump and two smaller stumps to be removed. Jacob visited promptly, assessed the work needed and advised. Two weeks later the job was completed very competently by his team. The area was left tidy. I would definitely recommend this company.

Great guys —very friendly and accommodating. They did an excellent job topping our trees; everything looks neat and tidy, and they cleaned up thoroughly afterwards. Jacob also shared some really helpful advice on caring for the trees going forward, which I really appreciated. I’d highly recommend them.

Bishops Waltham Tree Surgeons gave a first class service from start to finish. I needed four large poplar trees taken down. I called three companies and found that getting them to give me a firm price or a start date was like pulling teeth! Eventually I gave up and called another random tree surgery company, thinking "this is another one I'll have to chase again and again" - nope, I left a message and Jacob Allen, the owner, called me back within minutes. The same day he went to the site and came back to me with a firm quote and said they could do it next week. I gave Jacob the go-ahead. Jacob sent me pictures and videos by WhatsApp every day. I went there on the last day (the job took three days) and found everything spick and span, wood all gone, stumps out, ground levelled. The price was less than an "estimate" I'd had from another company which didn't include removal of the wood and grinding out the stumps. One final thing. The property is on a private lane that leads on to some other houses. One of the residents there complained that Jacob's vehicles had put a hole in the lane. I put my hand in the hole and there was nothing to support the tarmac, it was going to break through at any moment. The straw that finally broke the tarmac's back was actually a 20 ton Southern Electric lorry. Jacob could have stood his ground and said "I'm terribly sorry but it's not my problem", but instead he went off to get hardcore and filled in the void under the tarmac so that the lane was usable again. He didn't even send the owners of the lane a bill! I cannot speak highly enough of Jacob and his team. I wish I had made them my first call.

Very efficient and great service every time!

Jacob and the team were great. Lovely boys. Would definetly recommend for any tree work.

Subbed Jacob and his team in with their digger to complete a time sensitive job efficiently. Could not fault the work that was carried out from start to finish. Would definitely recommend and use again.

There is a noticeable improvement in natural light after the guys had finished. Great job. Will have no hesitation in recommending them or using their services again.

A large tree at the front of my property needed cutting back heavily and shaping. Both Jacob and Josh were very friendly, efficient and checked with me during the work to ensure I was happy. Excellent clean up and left the place tidier than before they started. Highly recommend!

The guy's worked tirelessly from 8am. To 4.30 pm. in torrential rain to completely remove a 40/50 ft. Oak The area was left very tidy and cleared . Would highly reccomend.

Outstanding first job with us. 300+ metres of Yew and Laurel hedges trimmed in 2 long days by 3 very fit, determined and skilled young men - Jacob, Josh and Joe - very obviously working flat out and with great skill and good humour. Excellently equipped, qualified and experienced. Very reasonable price. Very thorough, not only in the details and artistry of the trimming, but in their attention to detail in clearing up. Cheerful and courteous - a great pleasure to have them to do the work. Wish I could find more superlatives. Have already asked them to work for us again. The best of luck to them for their future. Keith Galbraith Ellisfield

Really happy with the service and would definitely recommend this company. Jacob was very professional and the communication was great. Jacob and his team did an exceptional job transforming our large, overgrown hedge into a beautifully shaped and manageable feature of the garden. They provided a quote quickly and maintained excellent communication throughout the entire process. This is the second time they’ve helped me, and both experiences have been excellent. They were very professional and clearly take great pride in their work. I really appreciated how they checked in with me during the day to make sure I was happy with the height and overall progress. They also gave me lots of helpful advice on how to maintain a healthy hedge going forward. The garden looks completely revitalized—I couldn’t be happier with the results. Highly recommend Jacob and his team!

Jacob and team came out promptly after our initial enquiry to quote for the job. Very knowledgable, friendly, tidy & competitive service. Already recommended the guys to a good friend of ours who was over the moon with the job they done at theirs also. Well done team!

Jacob and his guys all did an excellent, neat job with my massive dead oak tree. They cleared my garden and left it clean without rushing despite it being a long day. They were professional, but also friendly throughout. Communication prior to and after the job was also excellent. I would definitely recommend the company.

What a great company and group of guys. Jacob came to visit and price the job and we were very happy with his price. Job booked in and completed with precision and great quality workmanship. The property was cleared and cleaned up after the tree felling, with all timber removed. A really great company and team of guys, highly recommended, thanks Jacob, will use again 👍.

I’d highly recommend Jacob and his team. It was a big job over three days, but they worked relentlessly in the heat to get it done and were extremely professional throughout. Due to the sensitive nature of the work being carried out on neighbouring trees, Jacob even went above and beyond to ensure all parties were happy with the plans and outcome…. I’m not sure we’d have been able to get it done without him to be honest, so I’m very grateful for that. I’m delighted with the work and positive impact on my property and they did a great job tidying up aswell!

The team did a great job removing a large Ash tree for us which had dieback. Couldn’t recommend them enough. 10/10 service.

Jacob and the team did a quick and neat job of removing 11m of Portugese Laurel for us. The hedge was planted into a short but steep embankment, so it was not easy to also remove the stumps, but they achieved this too in a much shorter time than expected. We are very satisfied with the quality of the work and the state of the site afterwards.

Jacob and Josh were very professional when cutting our conifers. They were polite and curious, they left the area tidy and their communication leading up to the work was great. Would thoroughly recommend.

Their woodchip chip is highly recommended. I’ve recently ordered six large builders bags and it’s perfect for our garden. Also prompt delivery, friendly service and a great price. Jacob’s also done other work for us in the past and it’s very impressive to see how the business has grown.
