Joseph and his team did a wonderful tree maintenance and removal job in our garden. The service they provided was extremely professional, efficient, courteous and friendly. I thoroughly recommend them to anyone seeking high quality tree services in Birmingham.

At 12.30 we phoned J and Sons, By 4 pm, Joe and his team were on site ready to work, on a cold snowy January afternoon. The quote was very reasonable. By 7 pm they had taken down 2 trees one of which had fallen into our neighbour's garden . The team was friendly, polite and efficient and tidied up completely afterwards. We were very satisfied and are more than happy to recommend them.

What awesome service! Turned up, on time, to give me a quote, the day after I enquired. Did the work same day (removed an old apple tree and chopped it into logs for my fire). Really nice people, great job, would highly recommend!

Tree surgery done very efficiently and everything cleared up very well. Excellent job done

these three young men have just taken a dead tree and cut and tidied my other trees one of which was a big Christmas tree they cut off the top amount and all over hanging branches on my neighbour s side they took and shredded all the branches left no mess were extremely conciderate and polite. I've lots more garden work come next year and will for sure call these guys they're understanding of money and give a reasonable quote and charge nothing stupid like some other gardeners I've had quotes from. Very nice guys get on with the work and always ask if that's how and what you want. I highly recommend to anyone who needs a professional job with a reasonable price and polite helpful attitude.

Joe and his team were friendly, knowledgeable, professional and excellent at what they do. They were sure to check in with us regularly to be sure we were happy with the outcome. They were so efficient and left the garden super tidy, and looking much better than when they arrived. They were also very careful with our garden furniture, which was much appreciated. Couldn’t recommend Joe and team enough to anyone requiring help with their trees!

They were also incredibly polite and respectful throughout the entire process. It’s clear they take pride in their work and care about customer satisfaction. Great guys and very organised. They completed the job in a short space of time and worked hard long hours to achieve this. I was very impressed with the way they worked as a team.

Perfect service, showed up to do a quote and ended up doing the job there and then. Nice fellas, tidy work, two enthusiastic thumbs up.

Team arrived at 8 this morning to cut down a very large conifer, they were done in a couple of hours and we honestly wouldn't have known they'd been. Absolutely no mess left in garden or out in the road. Lovely men , very friendly and helpful, so happy with the job and would highly recommend. Thankyou very much Joe and team

Absolutely fantastic service! Very professional, cleaned up after themselves, would never have known they've been here. I would highly recommend Joe and his team.

Needed a professional tree company with the correct safety gear to climb a very tall conifer in our back garden to rescue a trapped kitten. After frantically trying about 7 companies, J and Son were the only ones willing to come out at short notice and help. They explained how they were going to tackle the issue and got on with it. Within about 15-20 minutes the kitten was safely back on terra firma! Excellent service from friendly and polite guys. Would use them again in the future.

Turned up on time Canada at the job very happy would recommend

excellent people nd arrived on time!!! cat was stuck up on tree they rescued it asap thank you!!!

Contacted J and Son and other businesses asking for a quote. Joseph was very quick answering my inquiry and coming over to see the two large trees in my back garden. He was available almost immediately and removed skillfully two large conifers (one growing very close to the house) I am very pleased with the work and especially with how lovely my garden is now. Thank you for your hard work!

Great team, had the tree down quickly, cleared the site of all debris when they finished. Top job! Thanks again guys

Appalling timekeeping/communication, I contacted Joseph and hour after he was supposed to be here, he said he'd be another 40 minutes but arrived 2 hours later!!! Did good job of cutting tree down and was apologetic but wasted my time - something I can't back.

Excellent and very helpful recommend.

Am very surprised and disappointed to see so many 5 star reviews on here. I had to give up on this company today after several no shows. I can't understand why I've been let down like this. After several attempts to schedule the work I am left with a dangerously overgrown tree.

Fantastic service, would defo use again!! Super friendly

Had a tree on my driveway that was causing issues with parking, and these guys did a fantastic job cutting it down. Super professional, on time, and friendly. The charge was reasonable too. Would definitely recommend them if you're looking for reliable service!

We had our conifer cut down as it was causing damage to the front wall. We were very impressed with the service we were given. Joe n his mates worked so very hard and did a great job. Would highly recommend them.

We called Joe to ask for a quote to reshape our hedge and cut back the trees. When he turned up he was very polite and listened to what we were hoping to achieve. He then provided us with solutions based on his years of experience so we knew what to expect (this is a very big hedge that needed cutting back and fully reshaping) we were happy with his quote and he got to work with his employee Earl. They were very efficient, friendly and clean. Using professional equipment they chipped and removed all the waste and made light work of things that I wouldn't have even attempted. We will definitely be calling Joe back to do further work on our garden and have already had quotes done. Would highly recommend.

Top professionals, removed three trees from our garden on short notice, efficiently and to a high standard. Very happy with their service.

Joe and the others did an amazing job at cutting down the neighbours trees, with out damaging our fence or anything else in the garden with the over hanging branches. They were all friendly and very informative as to what they were doing, they cleaned up the branches that fell in to our garden and left no mess behind at the front of the house.

Came to grind down some very tough tree stumps. They have the right equipment to get through narrow access to be able to tackle even the biggest tree stumps. The tree stumps were ground down to the ground and we are blown away with the results. Had many other people quote who didn’t have the right tools and who c said they couldn’t grind it down to ground level. Thanks so much. We now have so much more flat space to put a new garden shed. Looking forward to having you back to get some more garden upgrades. Thanks again!

Joseph and the team were fabulous, they managed to cut down a large overgrown hedge and also two connifer trees that were diseased. Rang them at 10am, they were here within 2 hours! Excellent service Polite Team Cleanliness: 10/10 Workmanship: 10/10 Can't fault them, would recommend to all

Needed 3 conifers removing from the end of the garden. Awkward position as they backed right up to my neighbours driveway but for Joe and his team this was no problem. After reading the glowing reviews I contacted Joe who came to give me a price. It was very competitive so I agreed and they started the job immediately. Fantastic guys with great communication throughout, super efficient and very tidy at the end. Can't praise enough and would definitely recommend to anyone.

Great service, good price, fast efficient and friendly

Very happy

Joe and his team saved the day! They came round after we had a bad experience with a cowboy tree surgeon and tidied up the mess he had left. He was really easy to talk to and gave us several options with different prices. We will be using him every time from now on and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a friendly, reliable company.

Had several tree stumps grinded down Excellent work and came same day. Best price and was done within an hour.

Joe responded quickly on the day I phoned. He arrived and immediately identified that my silver birch tree had died - no foliage to be seen - and of serious risk of falling over. (It had been like that for the last few years.) He gave me a quote and arranged for the tree to be felled there and then. All the work carried out was done quickly and efficiently, including the removal & disposal of the tree. The team were keen to make sure I was happy with the work, and regularly asked if all was ok. I was very happy with the work and would definitely recommend.

Outstanding team, was doing a job on a house couple of doors down. Asked them to look at my garden and gave a reasonable price and started straightaway. They tidied up and took away all the rubbish. Highly recommend J and Son.

100% first class hard working and respectful team that take pride in exceeding customer expectations and delivering top quality workmanship using top quality materials. Joe quoted a price to replace our fence (6x5 foot panels) including removal of existing and replacing concrete godfathers and gravel boards. He also agreed to take overhanging trees from neighboring garden back to building line. Originally quoted as a one day job; it turned into a day and a half of very hard work for Danny & Liam with Joe chipping in on more than one occasion (don't think that was in the original quote either!). They had to dig out significant tree roots and very compacted soil in order to deliver a quality product. AND BOY WHAT A RESULT! The fence is arrow-straight and even all the way down. Joe noticed a crack in one of the gravel boards (I didn't even see it until Joe pointed it out) and a replacement gravel board was immediately delivered. They even accommodated a late change requested by our neighbor, even though it was not strictly speaking a part of the job. All for the same price! Not a penny requested up front. All rubbish removed, patio swept and left as it was found. Has made a massive positive change to our rear vista and we can't wait for the weather to improve so we can sit and admire our new fence-line! Think it is important to mention that Joe's was by no means the most expensive quote we received either. We are looking to relay our patio and re-landscape our rear garden in the next 12 months - there is only one company we will be contacting... J & SON!

Massive thank you to Joe and his team. Great work and a quick turnaround 👍

He came around this afternoon, offered a very reasonable price and offered to do the job on the spot. Joe and his lads were friendly, polite and they took no time at all in removing two unsightly conifers. The trees were removed, put through the wood chipper and all the mess was sweeped up. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending their services to anyone. I will be using them again for a tree in the back garden. Joe gave my three kids a fiver each for Easter and was on his way! Thankyou Joe!
