Pure Decoration

Excellent work. We employed Pure Decoration to restore and paint the front door of our Grade 1 listed building. They used specific oil based paints to apply multiple coats. In the hot weather it took a long time to dry, so they needed to make multiple visits. They worked until the job was completed perfectly. We are delighted with the results.

Used them twice, and they've been excellent both times; the man who did the actual painting was very conscientious (despite the heat wave) and the owner himself was very helpful and polite at all times. I'll use them again the next time the job needs doing, without hesitation.

Pure Decoration were great they quotes within 48 hours and started work the next week. Some of the work was external and at one point they painted through a hailstorm! Despite the hailstorm the outcome is excellent. The team were helpful and personable, as well as competent and reliable. Definitely recommend.

Very happy....., Jay attended just to do my finishing touches. Arrived on time, polite and attentive, just got on with the job and left my premises clean and tidy, job well done, thank you Jay I'd also like to thank Nick for coming to my rescue after I was let down at the last minute by another decorater, l waited months bottom line was the job was too small, although still a full day's pay ! So impressed with the fact that they're responsible for the decor at The Ivy, WOW, lve eaten in there and wondered who did the decorating, after all it's the first thing you notice, very impressive 👏

Jay did a fantastic job painting our hallway in one day. They were really flexible with our budget and we were able to agree to focus on the work I'd struggle with doing the most myself - above the stairs as in the pictures. They really brightened the space up. Thank you.

Nick managed to be available on a short notice and did everything I asked. Good attention to detail. Thank you!

Happy with the experience. Good communication throughout. Quote and invoicing always clear. The figure itself was very competitive. I'd definitely use Nick again.

We finished a full renovation of our newly purchased 2 bedroom flat in Hove, and Pure Decoration painted the whole flat (walls and ceilings), once the renovation was complete. They did a fantastic job, and we are so happy with the results. They were communicative and co-operative throughout, despite us having to delay the start date a few times. The team painted with Farrow and Ball and Dulux throughout, and offered a really fair and competitive rate. They were professional, worked quickly, and the craftsmanship of their painters – Jay, Mike, and Kieran – was so evident. We highly recommend them, and thank them for all their hard work 🙏

Really happy with the painting, their attention to detail was great, there was barely any mess and generally lovely people. I’d definitely recommend.

great attention to detail on my wallpapering job, I would highly recommend Pure Decoration

Fantastic service from friendly people, would highly recommend

I highly recommend Pure Decoration. From start to finish, it was a pleasure to work with Nick and his team. We had two large Victorian rooms decorated. Anyone who lives in a Victorian house knows there’s no straight edges and plenty of ‘character’, meaning they need a lot of TLC. Nick’s team took the time to do all the necessary preparations so they could get a great final finish. Nick visited almost everyday checking on the progress of the work, discussing with his painters areas that needed extra attention. What stood out was Nick’s attention to detail, professional pride in high standards of work and genuinely wanting to make the customer happy! Also of importance, Nick and his team were very responsive to communications before, throughout and after the work. Price-wise, Pure Decoration prices are mid-range but the work is top-notch. I’ll definitely be calling these guys when we start the next phase of decorating!

Nick, Mike & the team did a fantastic job of my daughter’s kitchen. We will not hesitate to use them again in the future. The work looks great and they are a lovely team to have around !

I have used Pure Decoration in several occasions over the past few years. I have always found their decorators to be very friendly, professional and tidy. The finish is always great and they are reliable. Can’t really ask for more!

Nick and the team at Pure Decoration were fantastic to work with. They painted the outside of my house, freshened up the kitchen walls, and fixed some drain pipes via scaffolding – all to a really high standard. Friendly, reliable, and fairly priced. I’d highly recommend them to anyone in and around Brighton.

Really happy with the work done on my windows, they had been in need of repair/paint for quite a while and now they look great, job didn’t take too long and final price matched the estimate cost

We had our studio flat redecorated by Nick, Mike and the team and were really impressed with the standard of work and the ease of the project as a whole. Definitely recommend - thanks guys!🙏🏼

Good work, very helpful and well-informed, very supportive and respectful towards my disabled tenant

Nick did a great job of repairing and making good an extensive leak to my ceiling, looks great again. Everything positive with excellent comms. Many thanks and will use Pure Decoration again.

Marcin is a gem. Polite, professional and competent.

Nick and the team at Pure Decoration have been brilliant from start to finish. Super professional, reliable, and the quality of their work is top-notch. They completely transformed our office space with a clean, sharp finish that really lifts the place. Nothing was too much trouble, and it was a pleasure having them on site. Highly recommend Pure Decoration – thanks again, Nick!

We recently hired Pure Decoration to redecorate our carpark and decorate all the doors in our communal areas at OneFamily. Their team did an outstanding job, completing the work in the communal areas outside of normal working hours to ensure there was no disruption to our staff. The quality of their work was excellent, and their professionalism and attention to detail were impressive. We highly recommend Pure Decoration for any decorating needs.

We appointed Pure Decoration for the decoration package as part of a commercial fit out for Cornish Bakehouse in Brighton. They were very professional, reasonably priced and their work was of the highest standard. They were on the job much longer than planned due to extras but were very accommodating and stayed on site until the project was complete.

Second time using this company, always do a great job!

Fantastic job! Brilliant prep work, really high quality paint work, and everything was generally done to a very high standard … can’t fault these guys!!

Thanks. My garden looks great now! The team were quick to respond and at communicating as we navigated the challenges the weather threw at us! Jay was really focused on the detail to ensure a good finish.

I have worked with Pure Decoration on two occasions now and been thrilled with them both times. First was a complete studio overhaul when we moved into our new studio and more recently was a very efficient once over to bring the space some freshness after a few years of wear and tear. I have been so impressed with the professionalism, advice and care Nick and his team take with their work and will 100% be using them for any decorating needs going forward. Highly recommend!

I'm a first time home owner and Pure Decoration were reccomended by a mate, they were very clear with estimates and talked through everything that would happen and was included in the quote and made sure to confirm any additional work that was out of quote was costed and approved before actioned. The results have been great, the house looks so much better (inside and out) And the quality is top notch. Definetly reccomend them.

Couldn't recommend more. Nick and Mike were very helpful and communicative throughout the process. Jay and Alex were the painters and they completed the work to a high standard, and tidied up after themselves after each day.

Nick was fantastic, couldn't recommend more!

Pure Decoration did an amazing job on our front door. It needed a complete overhaul due to years exposed to Brighton winters, and it had lost its 'pop'. Nick and Jay helped bring the door back to life and has ensured it will continue to turn heads for years to come! Thank you.

I was interested in Pure Decoration as they seemed very particular about quality work, I was also interested in the Keim paint they use and did some research on that product. It does seem to be a higher quality product than standard exterior paint. I would get a colour chart from Keim and compare that to what you have in mind. I looked at the RGB percentages of what I wanted and then compared this to Keim. I would then be ready to request the samples from Nick as this might take a few days to try out before you decide. The price and quote is a bit higher than standard quotes but I felt that should be reassuring of good work. Nick is very knowledgeable and very keen to look at all aesthetics and challenges to do the work properly. He points out what level of work is required to put previous wrongs right but can be easily distracted! I did need to revisit plans on occasion and make sure that all communication is on track. There is also a quick turnaround time for decisions and payments etc. which can be a bit pressurised. That said, the work undertaken by Andrej was of the best standard, he worked outside in freezing weather and did not complain once. He made sure that all surfaces were properly repaired before painting and was respectful to myself and neighbours. I have had my exterior painted 4 times in 26 years and this is the best standard of work to date. I am very pleased with the final results.

Nick, Mike and and the team did a fantastic job giving our house a new coat of paint. The process was easy from start to finish and the house now looks immaculate. Very happy with the outcome.

Nick, Mike and the team have been great. We used them to paint the kitchen and external sash windows. Along the way Nick is very good at pointing out what other work may be needed (including things the firm doesn't do). Very easy to communicate with - leave aside plenty of time for long chats about Victorian houses. I've heard they're introducing discounts for loyal customers - what a good idea - we'll use them again if that's the case!

Pure Decs re-painted the front facade of our house. Nick and his team were very helpful, quick to respond, and kept to the agreed schedule and price. Will happily use again.

Lovely people, great job done.

Nick and his team are friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. Nick was super thorough during our initial chats to make sure we were happy with the brief and asked lots of good questions we hadn’t thought about. We’re extremely happy with the high quality, silky smooth finish and we were grateful that the decorators left the spaces they worked in tidy and hoovered every evening. Would highly recommend Pure Decoration based on all that! Thanks.

Nick is a great guy, friendly, honest, good pricing and timely. Would recommend him and his team to anyone.

Overall, I highly recommend Pure Decoration for any painting needs. Their expertise, professionalism, and commitment to excellence truly set them apart. My house looks stunning, and I have received numerous compliments from neighbours and friends. Thank you, Pure Decoration, for a job well done!

Nick and his team were great in doing some exterior decoration work - really helpful and flexible, clear on pricing and times, and able to work autonomously to a very high standard.

Great communication. Great job.

Pure Decoration did an amazing job of painting parts of our shopfloor. Quick, professional and to a very high standard. - Fred Perry Brighton

Lovely job done on our St. James's Street store, lovely team. Big thank you to Sam & Nick! No job too big especially after we needed 7-8 coats to cover the previous colour! Thank you

Disappointing. If you're a landlord and just want a quick job done, then they're probably OK for you. If you are living with it and want a really good finish, go elsewhere. Let us know if you're unhappy with anything, they said. We did and were treated with disdain, recalcitrance and even anger. I don't understand the 5 star rating. That was not our experience. No mistake Nick. It was autumn 22.

Pure are just the best. Nick came round first to look at the job, so professional and experienced. Darren was an absolute joy with an eye to detail. I could not recommend them more.

Great work finished to a high standard. Friendly and considerate throughout, especially with making sure the cats didn't escape!

These guys were great. Very prompt and good quality finish. Would highly recommend. Fred

The team did a great job painting, add some wallpaper feature and tidying up metal rails in 2 rooms, hall and bathroom. Happy to recommend them.

The team at Pure Decoration were amazing to work with! A quick turnaround from recce, quote to finishing the job itself. Reassured with every step in detail and super reliable! Couldn't be more pleased with how it all turned out :)

Painted my flat and they were very neat and efficient.

very happy with the work. on time and very professional. highly recommended!

Working with Pure Decoration was great, they are very easy people to get along with and the work was done to a high standard. They were good at talking us through the process and recommending solutions as we went. The project involved exterior painting, removing old render, re-rendering and also fixing a derelict shed. We are really pleased with the results and would definitely work with them again.

Used this company several years back to paint external concrete guttering. The work then stood the test of time so used them again for a refresh. Really happy with the quality of work, very professional and will no doubt be rebooking in the future.

Nick has helped me alot with my rented property. He deals directly with the tenants and gets the job done to an excellent standard. He really does take the stress out of organising building work. I would highly recommend.

Painted a back wall for us. Clear and quick communication, proactive in fitting us in when they had a cancellation, arrived on time, finished the job very quickly and were extremely careful with moving their big ladder through a tight space. Thanks!

Nick and the team did a fantastic job on an office redecoration scheme . Happy to use again. Many thanks

Amazing job! They were so quick and responsive and started a day after we called them which was very much appreciated after some other decorators let us down. Will definitely be hiring them again!

Nick & team did a brilliant job on my ceiling, which had water damage from a leaking washing machine in the flat above. Ceiling looks good as new (if not better!) and they were super quick and tidy. The price was super reasonable and if I ever need any other decorating done I will be giving them a call!

I wanted two of my rooms painted, Nick responded to my email quickly, and we arranged to start straight away. He arrived with Steve and they talked through what I wanted and made suggestions (I'm not an expert!). They were both on time, friendly, and have a good value quote for the work. The work was completed in two days and I'm very happy with the results. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

Nick and team did a great job at redecorating my neighbour’s ceiling when we had a leak that caused a water mark. It was only a few days between coming for a quote and starting work. He did a great job and left the place clean and tidy. Would recommend and consider him for any future jobs.

Pure Decoration did a fabulous job painting our living room. Would highly recommend.

Great experience with Nick and team. They removed an internal stud wall and did a fab job, quick (less than a day), thorough and left it all tidy at the end! I'd definitely recommend them, and will be using them in future for any decorating needs.

Neil was fantastic - painting job was done to a great standard and was easy to organise. Would use again :-)

The whole experience with Nick and the team has been great and we couldn't recommend them enough! We had a quote (which we found more than reasonable) very soon after first contacting them and the work was started straight away. We needed some plaster repaired, which we knew would be tricky, but Neil did a fantastic job. The whole job (hallway and bedroom) was completed swiftly and professionally, and the team left things neat and tidy every day, which was a pleasant surprise. We are thrilled with the results and now are kicking ourselves for not getting it done sooner!

Very good job; finished ontime and both the front room and the side wall look excellent. I would recommend this team for all decorating outside and inside a house

Nick responded very quickly to look at my requirements and was then able to get a team in within 3 days to carry out the internal painting works. The work was carried to budget and on the quoted time enabling my tenant to move in to a freshly decorated flat on time. Very pleased with Nick's service and his teams work and would use him again.

Nick and the team did a great job wallpapering two of our rooms. Easy to deal with and just got on with things while we were in the house. Recommended.

Excellent work to a high Eco standard. Highly recommended

Nick and his team have done several jobs for me over the last few years and I have always been extremely satisfied. 5* work and service.

I found Nick and Rowan really easy to deal with and they were very accommodating as I was looking for someone to do the work quite quickly. They were very professional and did a super job. They left everything clean and tidy and communication throughout was great. I would highly recommend this company.

A great job painting my freshly plastered walls at a competitive price, and swiftly done too. Would highly recommend.

Really nice guys, and they did a great job and within the time and cost as agreed. Will definitely use again and can recommend.

Very efficient, reliable service. Friendly and trustworthy workmen who left the place clean at the end of each day! Would recommend!

Polite , as quoted sensible price, good quality work .

Really professional and respectful, Neil was painting for us for seven days and he was always on time, polite and respectful of our house social distancing rules. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to others.

Pure Decoration were fantastic from start to finish. Nick was very knowledgeable and helpful when quoting for the job. Mike and Kye were with us for a week, removing wall paper and painting two rooms. They had great attention to detail and I was really pleased with the finish. They were also very easy to have around - friendly and considerate. I would definitely recommend Pure Decoration and will be using them again when I next need something done!

Excellent completion of outdoor painting project on time and in clean professional manner.

Very professional and helpful. Responded very quickly and took time to assess work to be done. Polite, friendly and helpful. Unfortunately works have had to be postponed for some months but I would definitely want Pure Decoration to do the job.

Would highly recommend using Pure Decorators - very neat, reliable and a very good quality of finish on the job. Will use again 100%.

Really happy with the decorating work done to our lounge. Great quality finish at a reasonable price. Highly recommended

First Class. Nick redecorated my flat last year and has just tided it up after tenants left. First class job and loyalty so important in business. Thanks Nick

Pure Decoration painted our terrace house for us. They were really nice guys and did a brilliant job. Stress free, very professional. I’d recommend them.

I can highly recommend Pure Decoration, Nick, Rowan and especially Sam did a brilliant job in decorating our Lounge, John also did a great job on the new electric sockets.....

Very high standard of work done at a very reasonable price and great and efficient organisation by Nick - very highly recommended.

Nick Case of Pure Decoration has excellent practical knowledge of multiple areas of building and decorating. Having just moved house, I was able to use Nick or people who he put me in touch with for carpentry, floor-sanding and banister-sanding. The work was uniformly of high quality but also good value for money. Nick also advised me on some difficult plumbing problems and some longer-term plans I have. Nick and all the people who worked through him were friendly and highly efficient.

Very nice job of sanding and painting our wooden window shutters, second time we have used them and very happy

Pure Decoration have done lots of work for us and it's always to a very high standard. Plus they're a pleasure to have around, which is very important too!

As an Interior Design and Home Staging business, working with a highly professional painting and decorating company is very important. Nick and his team are fantastic and their finish is second to none. Highly recommended

Great service!

Great standard of work, punctual and great communication.

Pure Decoration were great from start to finish. A good price, really friendly, helpful people doing the work, good communications and excellent quality.

Very professional service, definitely recommended

Excellent service from Nick from start to finish and the painters have done an excellent job, would highly recommend.

Nick was communicative throughout the job and flexible when I decided to change the job requirements halfway through. His team were pleasant and the standard of their work was very good.
