Very pleased with our whole experience of Clear Skies Energy. From design to installation and commissioning Jason was very knowledgeable, honest and hard working. I got four quotations but his unique proposal for a split system solved the tricky problem of our house having very little outdoor space. It allows the heat pump to run at high efficiency, even though it is a long way from the water tank, simplified the installation, saved time and reduced costs. We received a bespoke design, keeping within our budget, and ended up with lower running costs than our gas boiler, we're very happy.

Let me be very clear straight away.. You Should Choose Clear Skies Energy Within weeks of moving into our new house that was heated with LPG we realised that heating our home was going to be cripplingly expensive. The idea of getting an air source heat pump for the sake of carbon reduction was going to have to happen ASAP.. We approached a few people for quotes that in all honesty were cheaper than Clear Skies Energy, but after my initial phone call with Jason it felt clear to me that these guys were the ones for us. We really wanted to be an example of how the air source heat pump can be an amazing thing in a world where they get such poor publicity and Jason who is Heat Geek accredited is without a shadow of a doubt the man to make that happen. He was friendly and approachable from the get go, and he put together a budget quotation to show us a worst case scenario of costs. When we shared concerns about affordability for us, he showed exemplary flexibility in order to help us to get the system we needed and wanted in a budget that worked for us.. and he did succeed in that mission after the heat loss calculations were made and the design was started, we were able to hone in on the system that was right for us at a cost that we were able to manage.. with young children and very limited funds we'll forever be grateful to Jason for this Jason designs every system uniquely for the needs of his customer, which I think is where he differs from his cheaper competitors who have their standard system designs. This means he's able to achieve efficiency far greater than the UK average scop of 2.8.. our scop hasn't been below 4 yet (and that's just one particularly cold day) we've had daily scop values up at 5.8, I think we may end up averaging somewhere between.. and our heating costs so far are looking so much more manageable than the the previous system and in fact are very competitive even against a combi boiler on mains gas (which isn't even an option for us at our new home) But numbers aren't everything, let me tell you that despite the cold weather of late, we have been nothing but cosy.. in fact we have turned the desired temperature down several times since installation as we find out what suits us, and Jason has been tweaking in the background with his remote monitoring service which he includes on every installation. Jason and his team showed great professionalism whilst remaining approachable and friendly when completing the installation I probably haven't done justice here to how impressed we've been with Clear Skies Energy but if you've read to the end here I really hope that you can see how genuinely convinced I am that Jason is one of the best heating engineers you could find and provides a service that will do nothing but impress

Jason listened carefully to our needs, adapted the design to suit our desires and even designed the system twice to ensure it was what we wanted. The system was installed at the time agreed with no overruns. It’s neat, tidy and best of all works perfectly!

I searched a long time for someone I could trust to put a heat pump in for us - so many questions and negative reviews about heat pump performance. I finally found Jason, who after an initial website enquiry, called me back in about 20mins. From the first conversation it was clear he'd be our heat pump guru. Completely patient with my numerous questions, challenges and upfront and honest about how the system might perform without overselling the final result. We're on 10mm plastic microbore, historically a no-go for heat pumps. It works just fine. Jason made sure with the setup and design of the system it had the best chance to work efficiently. We have existing solar PV, batteries, EV and associated smart tariffs. A heat pump made total sense for us and to disconnect the gas supply. The work was completed to a high standard and although we had a couple of bumps along the way during commissioning these were sorted promptly and without any fuss. The end result is a notably higher performing system compared to others nearby, a house that is evenly warm even in the coldest temperatures (it was -7 last night) and the lowest bills through a cold snap we've ever seen. And we've not even finished tweaking completely yet either. You can trust Jason to advise and design the perfect system for you. Can't recommend highly enough.

Jason was - and is - absolutely brilliant - and we can't recommend him highly enough. He really knows his stuff and spent a long time ensuring we got the right air source heat pump for our house - and that we had the right size and number of radiators. The installation was excellent and his after-sales service is superb - nine months on he is still checking our system regularly to ensure it's performing well. The heat pump he installed is extremely quiet and extremely cheap to run.

Jason has provided a well considered technical solution that has proved to be practical and well suited to my needs. He was very good at exploring the various options in easy to comprehend terminology prior to me committing to a particular system. The installation was professional and completed to a high standard. Post installation suport has been good and prompt in the rare instances required. The system works as described and I am very satisfied.

I can't recommend Jason at Clear Skies Energy too much. He is extremely knowledge about heat pumps and gives excellent advice on what would work best for you. He took considerable effort to tailor-make the best possible system for my house and successfully installed it only a few weeks later. Since then he has always been on hand if I have had any questions or needed any advice and the system has operated well-beyond my expectations. It is a large initial outlay but definitely worth it and I am extremely satisfied with both the heating and hot water.

When it comes to choosing an installer to design and install your air source heat pump system in the North Yorkshire area, I truly believe you'd struggle to find anyone as competent as Jason from Clear Skies. An extremely knowledgeable professional who will guide you through all your options and leave you with a properly designed and working system! Granted, probably not the cheapest installer you will find, but certainly one of the best! If you want a quality install with absolutely no worries about what you're getting then look no further than Clear Skies.

Exceptional. Unhesitatingly recommended. I did a lot of research on heat pumps before obtaining any quotes for work, and when I saw that Jason was 'Heat Geek' trained I knew that I had to include him. He is extremely knowledgeable and willing to engage with the ideas and thoughts that I had about our system. We decided to work with him even though his was not the cheapest quote, but we know that we have the ideal system for our house, which will mean better savings year on year. Even when just supplying hot water in the summer, the system regularly works at over 400% (COP 4) (much better than the systems purchased by our neighbours from other installers), and at even better efficiency when the heating is on. All his work was completed to a high standard and the follow up after care has been excellent. I have since recommended Jason to two family members, both of which have chosen to work with him.

Jason was very knowledgeable and guided us through the transition from a gas boiler to a heat pump. We had a number of quotes for the work but Jason was the one who we trusted to get it right. He and his team work very hard during the install, which is more complex then just replacing a boiler. We are pleased with how the heat pump is performing and we also know that Jason is on hand to answer any queries and to keep an eye on the system.
