Huntington Boiler Services recently carried out a landlord gas safety inspection, a full boiler service, and several maintenance works in the bathroom for me, and I was extremely impressed throughout. Communication was excellent both before and after the visit — everything was explained clearly, appointments were easy to arrange, and they were always quick to respond. The engineer was professional, punctual, courteous, and took real care with the work. The quality of the workmanship was excellent, and everything was completed efficiently and to a very high standard. It’s refreshing to deal with a company that is so reliable, organised, and easy to work with. I would recommend Huntingdon Boiler Service. They have been carrying out our home gas servicing for the past few years and always are helpul in setting up appointments and attending for the job. Ben and his assistant did a very good job replacing my old power shower. I was kept informed of the arrival time every step of the way and the shower was quickly and expertly replaced. There was a problem re routing the water pipes due to a different design of the replacement shower but this was expertly carried out. I recommend Huntingdon Boiler Services and will certainly call on their services again.

The service I received from huntingdon boiler services a family company was excellent. When my very old boiler stopped working Ben from HBS diagnosed the most suitable & economical gas boiler for my needs advising me that not all my old radiators needed replacement. The installation was carried out by Greg who was both friendly and professional working hard to complete the job in a timely fashion. I cannot recommend this company highly enough. Thoroughly recommend Huntingdon Boiler Services. Ben came to my property on a Saturday morning to do a survey and I received the quotation within the hour. The boiler was then installed within 10 days. My property had an old boiler/tank and Ben installed a new Combi boiler and it is brilliant. He took away the old boiler and tank and any packaging. We have had a new boiler fitted by Huntingdon Boiler Services. Firstly, Ben did a thorough survey and, through his clear understanding of our needs, his advice led to our selection of the right size and make for our property. His quote was not unreasonable and, unlike some, he did not ask for a deposit in advance. Furthermore, he did not ask for payment until we said we were satisfied with the working boiler. The fitting was completed in a day with great care and attention to detail. Needless to say, we would thoroughly recommend Ben and his team.

We decided to purchase a new one, which Ben and his fantastic team installed early October. It took them ages because the system was so difficult to flush out due to age. Ben installed a new boiler and tank 2 years ago and came this week to carry out the annual service on both. A super efficient and thoroughly good job. Ben was really helpful and carried out the work efficiently and quickly. I accidentally left my phone in his van and this evening he has said he will come back and drop it off. What a good company to use and competitive too. I have now had Huntingdon Boilers put new boilers and tanks into my daughters house and my next door neighbours.

Ben installed a new combi boiler for us when we moved in 5 years ago, replacing an old one from the 80s. Since then, he’s serviced it every year. He’s always polite, professional, reasonably priced, and works efficiently without being intrusive (even wears shoe covers!). We’ll definitely continue to use Ben.

Ben originally went through all our options for replacement and gave us the necessary explanations to enable us to choose the option right for us. An appointment for installation was made within a few weeks and appropriate reminders were sent . Installation was First Class . Greg arrived as agreed and worked like a Trojan completing the job over the two days and having to factor in unexpectedly replacing the shower and fixing a leaky tap . Clearing up afterwards was very thorough. He also took the trouble to ensure that radiators , plumbing and toilets were fully working before explaining clearly and concisely all working parts and the paperwork and patiently answered our questions .

Ben has fitted two boilers for me and both times the work was completed in less than a day. The interruption was minimal and work was first class. All rubbish was removed so you would never know that major work had been done.

They gave us a a very fair quote, almost half of what we’d been quoted by the bigger companies and had us booked in straight away. They gave great service before, during and after the boiler was installed and are not only very efficient and competitively priced but also very friendly from the first phone contact and ongoing. Excellent customer service from HBS. Really helpful, efficient and explain things clearly. Hayley at customer service was very helpful and she sends texts and emails to remind you of when the engineers will be visiting which is very handy for forgetful people like me 😁) The hearing engineers are a small local team of 3 so you can be sure you are going to get a good job done, unlike some big faceless companies who have loads of workers of varying standards. I dealt with Ben, Greg and their apprentice Frankie and all 3 were courteous and helpful and are always available to talk with after the job was done. Its a 5 star from me.

From the start, the team was professional and arrived exactly when they said they would, which is always a big plus. They worked quickly and efficiently, completing the job much faster than I expected. The standard of their work was high, and the boiler has been running perfectly ever since. Negatives: A minor issue with the floorboards. They were damaged during the installation and, unfortunately, weren’t put back properly. Also, on day one, my partner felt that one of the team members was a little short with her while she was trying to stay out of their way. Thankfully, the second day went much smoother, and she had a much better experience with the team. Huntingdon Boiler Services replaced my old central heating boiler with a Vailllant combi, moving the system from the kitchen to the airing cupboard, for a very reasonable price. Ben's advice at the start was really helpful, and Greg did a marvelous job. He was pleasant, efficient, punctual, considerate and completed the work quickly. My old boiler had stopped firing up. I initially called Huntingdon Boiler Services for a repair but they could not fit me in, but instead of leaving me with finding another repair agent, Ben provided a number of alternatives. After doing some research I decided on a new boiler and received a number of online quotes from the ‘big’ companies. I also requested a quote from Huntingdon Boiler Services and on his way to another job, Ben called that afternoon and scoped the work. I received a quote from the office within 30 mins of Ben leaving. The quote was substantially cheaper than the others for the same boiler. I had to wait a week for installation as they are extremely busy, for a reason. Greg installed my boiler in a very cramped space with difficult connections to my existing pipe work. The work was first class and I could not fault anything. Huntingdon Boiler Services communication throughout the whole process was exceptional and when you couple this to their competitive prices and excellent workmanship then I would challenge anyone to find a better overall service- oh and they are local.

If there was 10 stars they would get it. Excellent servce on a boiler service. Great advice and helped me a lot. As the orginal supplier did not do finish the work off and also did not register the Baxi boiler. This is now hopefully being resolved. Ben was great and the assistance given was 10 out of 10. I contacted Huntingdon Boiler Services Ltd in a panic this morning as the pressure in my boiler had dropped overnight, and after re-pressurising it, none of the radiators in the house would work They could have absolutely taken me for a ride and charged me a fortune. Instead, the engineer (Ben) solved the issue quickly by giving me some instructions over the phone and didn't charge me a thing. Fantastic service, and a shining example of honesty, despite the opportunity to fleece me! Will definitely be using them in the future! (And thank you to the helpful lady in the office too!)

I have been instructing Huntingdon Boiler Services and its associated company, Pipe & Cable for several years to provide annual boiler services at two separate properties. In addition at one property, Ben previously quoted for a gas boiler replacement and the installation of several new radiators. This separate project was completed extremely satisfactorily and successfully by Ben and his colleagues. I can confirm that Ben is extremely thorough and diligent in completing the annual boiler service requirements and I find he provides clear information, is totally reliable and is always very polite and personable. Great service from start to finish. 1 phone call and I had a slot booked for Ben to come out the next day and take a look at my current setup. He talked me through all my options and listened to what I wanted. He even checked with me that I had other means to get by on whilst I was without hot water and heating (electric shower, heater and a kettle for washing up). I had my quote back the same day. Ben and his plumbing team have been amazing their standard of work is excellent and nothing is too much trouble. I had bought some ex- display bathroom items as we had 4 en- suites to complete which was challenging, but Greg and Ben have fitted the bathrooms perfectly. I would highly recommend their services for any plumbing required such as central heating - boilers and bathrooms. The price quoted is really good too. Really happy with the job. I called up and got an appointment that suited me in less than a week. I got official notifications and reminders felt very proper. Ben asked if he could come a little early which was fine. He was professional, straight to the job, knew what was he was on about. He checked the meter and gas cooker which I didn't even expect and was the first person to say we needed to remove the boxing under the boiler to service it properly. No one else had so I think that says alot to my previous services. Invoicing all proper too. Very happy customer will use and recommend them again.
