Both roofers and electricians were very hard working and great at what they did. The initial advice led to us installing an appropriate system that catered to our requirements. The wholesalers gave the guys an older type set of batteries. The electricians picked up on this and we had a couple of days wait for the batteries we'd paid for. I was obviously annoyed at any wait but the guys were honest and picked up on the issue. They proper batteries were installed a couple of days later. James was very knowledgeable and obviously loves what he does. The system is small and not invasive. The panels are great quality and look good. We're looking forward to lower bills.

We recently had 16 solar panels and a battery installed, and I couldn’t be happier with the service from start to finish. James was extremely helpful from our very first meeting right through to installation and completion. The quote was very competitive, communication was excellent, and the standard of work carried out by the whole team was first-class. A special mention to Stuart, one of the electricians, who really went above and beyond, working late and in wet conditions to get the job finished. His commitment and work ethic deserve particular recognition. Tomask and Marek on the roofing team were also excellent, as were the other team members involved in the installation. It’s refreshing to deal with a company that offers competitive pricing without compromising on quality, and whose staff genuinely care about doing a good job. James is a friendly guy, communicated very well throughout the sale process and installation. Installation was fairly prompt and, despite a couple of small issues, went as planned. James resolved the issues quickly with his team of subcontractors and kept me updated. Well priced compared to others, and the solar/batteries are already making a big difference to our energy bill!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I did quite a bit of research before deciding to go ahead with solar panels and contacted three different solar companies. I received various quotes, and all three companies advised that they could fit around 16 panels. I then met Andy (Andrew) from Local Solar Company, who gave me James’s details. I contacted James the following day, and he came out to look at the property and provide a quote. After inspecting the property, he told me they could actually fit 20 panels, which was a pleasant surprise. The quote was also very reasonable, so we decided to go ahead and pencilled in an installation date. A couple of days before the installation, the team came to put up the scaffolding. When the two roofers, Thomas and his colleague, arrived, they looked at the roof and advised that they could potentially fit one additional panel, taking the total to 21 panels. They didn't have to suggest this, but they were very helpful and clearly wanted to make the most of the available roof space. I spoke with James, who agreed that the additional panel could be fitted. The following day, Thomas brought the extra panel and installed it. The next day, Stuart and Lee, the electricians, came to connect the inverter and battery system. They also did a very professional job and took the time to make sure everything was installed and connected properly. From the solar panel installation through to connecting the battery and completing the electrical work, the whole process took around two days. Everyone I dealt with was professional, helpful and courteous. A special thanks to Andy, James, Thomas and his colleague, Stuart and Lee for all their hard work. I'm very happy with the overall service and installation, and I would definitely recommend Local Solar Company to anyone considering having solar panels and a battery installed.

For us, installing solar panels was a huge investment to make but we were so impressed with James and his company that we took the step earlier than we had planned for! Communication is one of James' key strengths and at no point did we lose any confidence in our decision. James communicated personally at every stage of the process and his team were delightful. His roofers and electricians were polite, tidy and respectful of our property (and noisy terrier) at all times. Their work ethic was second to none and they persevered through some dreadful weather, with good humour. The installation went without a hitch and we are happy with the quality of the product and follow up contact. After doing my homework and looking at various options for a solar installation company in my area i chose "The local solar company", My install wasnt a straightforward one as the solar panels were to be mounted on an outbuilding with a corrugated roof,and the battery,s and invertor in another out-building Approx 25 metres from my upstairs flat , All i can say is that James and his team were superb from the intial survey to the final switch on , There were a few issues along the way but james team found the solutions quickly and eficiently ,and have done a magnificent install for me ,,,,, im very happy Would i recomend them? Definately ! Was it a competitive price ? Yes ! Was the install team top trades people with attension to detail and customer satisfaction a top priority ? Absolutely! Oue experience with James and his team was excellent. James came to give advice on what we were looking for and what system was best suited to our needs. My husband decided to go with James's advice as his knowledge was good on requirements. We had 11 panels, inverter and battery installed. The installation team (Gav and Eddie)arrived Saturday morning 9am as expected. Very cheery for 9am on a Saturday! No issues and very tidy when working, keeping doors/gate closed as we have 2 small dogs. Installation took the day and electrician (Lee) followed on the Sunday to complete work and do connection to grid. We have now been able to apply for SEG license and this is progressing. Highly recommend James and the team. Their knowledge and pricing was great and workmanship from team fantastic.

The Local Solar Company installed a battery in to my existing solar panel system. Could not fault what so ever. All done in one day. Left a nice tidy job. From initial contact with James to the guys who do the install, everyone was great and communicated well. I thought I had a small issue after install (I actually didn't), but the guys were out to my house unbelievably quick to check it all over. Couldn't ask for better service.

Great work by James and the Local Solar Company team. Our system was designed for relatively heavy household usage (family with teenagers), with 16 panels, an inverter, and a battery. Everything was installed in a single day, neatly and with minimal disruption—I was able to keep working from home. The follow-up has been excellent too, with James’s colleagues handling my MCS certificate and other paperwork.
