Selec fitted two air conditioning units for me. I was kept informed of every visit and was told when Jason was actually on his way and his arrival time. He cleared up after he completed the inside work. Once they were fitted he showed me how to use them, answered any questions and left me the manuals to remind me. Have had solar fitted and from start to finish the whole process (plus a couple of other little jobs needed) has been super. Jason is most informative and passionate about his work which gives you such confidence. I found the Selec group because I needed more plugs adding into my master bedroom. I heard back from Vicky really quickly and soon set a date in. The young man that did the work was brilliant. He explained all he was doing and offered me different options of how to go about it. After we had agreed, he cracked on and did a great job within a couple of hours. He cleaned up and left hardly any debris at all. I even asked him that day if they would be able to come back and fit my light for me, which I now have them booked in for. The quote was fair and the work professional. My new go to electric company.

On this occasion problem was fixed quickly again. Only 4 stars this time because my payment was overlooked but then acknowledged later. Would not hesitate to use their services again.

Excellent company to have for electrical work. Good communication, good assessment of needs and work completed as planned on estimate. I will definitely use in the future. Had car charger, consumer units, EICR, supply re routing, air source heat pump air conditioning unit and some minor electrical work undertaken.

Emailed on a Sunday night to have a (complicated) pendant light fitted in our kitchen. Vicki followed up Monday morning and said they could fit us in that day, which was great. Alfie turned up in under an hour and did a fantastic job. Very professional young man, talked through the job with me and executed in under an hour did an A+ job, cleaned and tided and done - couldn't be happier...highly recommended

Jason integrated two electrical systems and installed a new consumer box. He is a very professional, flexible and friendly individual who is knowledgeable and happy to provide advice. He is also reliable and of course local. Highly recommended. SUBSEQUENT VISIT :- Alfie called almost immediately I spoke to Vicky their admin adviser and ascertained a problem with an immersion. He referred the situation to Jason who referred us to Clint a plumber who was equally prompt in calling and then to resolve the problem. All extremely well organised with excellent communication. Our solar system has been installed like a dream. Jason kept us informed all along and explained everything, even to showing us all the individual components. All we had to do was make cups of tea and leave him and his team to it. We are so happy that we are electric grid neutral now, averaged over the year we will not have any electric bills and longer. Needed some more electrical jobs done around the house so of course called Selec. Alfie and Chris did a great job on setting up the new bathroom cabinet and connecting to the electrics as well as putting up a new light fitting, great guys and of course not forgetting Vicky who will always go all out to co ordinate a suitable appointment time.

Tracked down a very elusive fault on my underfloor heating system, which turned out to be an almost completely hidden fuse! The guys are alway really pleasant to deal with, very conscientious and professional. If only all tradespeople were as good. Thanks guys - great job!

We have used Jason for previous work and were happy then, and happy with the latest visit. We needed some extra power points, more fiddly work than a big project. They quoted quickly, worked around our tight schedule and the work was done on time. Very pleased with the results and good to have a local company that will take on the smaller work.

I am over there moon with Jason and the team. I had trouble with my thermal solar panel insulation leaking through my roof. No one would have a look until I contacted Vicky. Jason managed to solve the situation and my roof has not leaked since. Very happy and would definitely recommend.

Selec group (Spaldwick electrical) replaced our existing Wylex fuse boards with a modern consumer unit. The engineer was polite and professional and explained the new board to us. We found the booking process to be easy and customer service great. Pleased with the price and that there were no extra costs.

The chap came initially and took an hour to realise wite needed changing. £190 to get plug working is excessive and I supplied fittings. The wires in my cabinet were left in a dangerous state. See picture how it was left!. Not happy with service and would have wanted long term relationship

The team were quick to respond, provide a competitive quote and answer any of my queries. Although I had to wait for an install of the home EV charger its a good sign if someone is busy. It was well worth the wait for the service provided by the Selec Team. Would highly recommend using and have put them forward to my neighbour!

Jason and his team have carried out lots of work for us over the past three years as we work our way through renovating the house. They did all of the kitchen 1st and 2nd fixes, replaced the consumer unit, replaced lights upstairs and installed a motion detecting security light system at the front of the property.
