LB Electrical

Lewis wired various indoor and outside lights and sockets for me on my current home projects. Punctual, quick, very tidy work and incredibly fair on price too. I've used various electricians over the years on other homes and projects, but I'll definitely be using him again going forward. How tradesman used to be.

Good work Went well at the agreed time and agreed rate. No nasty surprises.

It's hard work finding decent trades these days, first met Lewis a few years ago when I had some solar panels installed; he did a great job then and I grabbed his number Fast forward a few years and I've used Lewis multiple times for various works, including an extension and various alterations - he's always clean, does a great job, shows up when he says and a genuinely nice guy Speaking of which... I need to give him a call to install an EV charger now! Rare find, if you need a sparks - I'd not hesitate to recommend him

Been meaning to write this review from the summer, highly recommended this electrician. Resolved a huge solar panel issue that developed on a house I moved into earlier this year, would use again!

Called with a query on a house I had just moved into that they had done work on. Was more than happy to give me details to help us out. And the work in the house is top notch. Will be going for back future house updates.

Lewis of LB Electrical has been absolutely brilliant. He really cares about doing a great job, will really think about the best way to achieve the end result with minimal disruption to the house, very very appreciated. We had Lewis fit a whole new consumer unit plus other electrical jobs and we are delighted with the quality and great price. We will definitely be calling him again. Thank you Lewis.

LB electrical installed isolators for our air conditioning units, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the results. From start to finish, the service was exceptional. Lewis was professional, courteous, and took the time to carefully assess the setup before proceeding with the installation. The isolators were installed to a high standard, with attention to detail and a clear focus on safety and functionality. He made sure everything was neat, organised, and fully operational. I appreciated how he explained the process, offering tips on maintaining the units and ensuring everything was working as it should before he left. Overall, I’m really impressed with the quality of work and would highly recommend anyone in need of reliable and skilled service. Thank you!

Really good friendly electrician, very happy with the service provided. He arrived at the time he said he would and got straight to work no messing around.

He fitted a hard wire box in kitchen and installed cooker good price and does really good job. Thank you ☺️

Polite, professional. Did a great job rectifying a few things after we’d moved into our new home and realised they’d not been seen to properly.

We chose LB Electrical to install an EV charger and a battery. Always a pleasure to do business with. Lewis explained the process thoroughly and answered all our questions. His professionalism is top, because of Lewis' two very important characteristics: transparency and respectfulness. I highly recommend LB Electrical. We will definitely be back in the future. Book an appointment with confidence!

I recently had a solar panel system with a battery installed by LB Electrical, and I couldn't be happier with the entire experience! Lewis is incredibly professional and knowledgeable, walking me through every phase of the project. He made sure I fully understood the system and how everything would work, which gave me a lot of confidence in my decision. The installation was done super quickly and with great attention to detail. Lewis also provided all the required certifications for regulation, which was a big relief. The whole process was smooth, and the quality of the work is top-notch. I'm thrilled with my new solar system and highly recommend LB Electrical to anyone considering going solar!

I had this guy round to fix my oven. He came reasonably quickly, said it would be the element. Took it out, tested it and a couple of days later replaced it. Three days after that the oven tripped again so obviously there was a further underlying fault that had caused the oven to trip. Then he didn’t reply to messages and when he did claimed he was too busy to come back, or arranged times and then didn’t show up. Wasn’t interested in sorting out the problem once he had got his £70 for 20 minutes work. Eventually got it fixed by another contractor who couldn’t believe the poor service I’d been given 🤷🏻‍♂️

Recently moving into a bungalow with solar panels, Not knowing anything about them other than something was wrong. Relieved to find a local solar expert nearby. Promptly responded to my request for assistance. Soon found the problem and fixed it at a reasonable cost. Explained to me how my system worked and gave me valuable advice going forward. A nice guy, knows his stuff and a genuine tradesman. Highly recommended.

Great electrician. Good price, tidy worker, reliable and dependable. What more could anyone want?

I had an issue with my solar installation, which was quickly fixed by Lewis. Very professional!

Lewis from LB Electrical has done the solar system relocation from the office to the storage shed on my small farm. All went well as expected and quick. I definitely would recommend his services.

Contacted LB Electrical as our pv solar inverter stopped working. Lewis was very efficient in calling around to check the inverter, unfortunately it was not repairable. Lewis sourced a replacement with a 10 year warranty, which he fitted. He was punctual and professional. Would definitely be my first call again for solar advice or electrical work.

After a stressful week and no hotwater i have finally got it sorted

Lewis fitted a new Solar System for me earlier this year. The work included the fitment of 18 solar panels, an Inverter and a large battery. Lewis exceeded my expectations in all aspects of his work. He did everything he promised, he was punctual, cleaned and tidied up after every visit and the work was completed on time. If that wasn’t enough, Lewis is always available to provide me with help and support regarding any aspect of my newly installed Solar System. I would I not hesitate in recommending him to anyone who is thinking of installation solar panels. Peter Lambert

Cannot fault Lewis, knowledgeable and tidy installation. Highly recommend.

Lewis was professional from start to finish and a pleasure to deal with. We were talked through everything prior to installation of a solar panel system and Lewis went the extra mile to get us set up and generating solar power ahead of schedule. Important to mention, excellent value and workmanship. I highly recommend LB electrical and I have already asked Lewis for involvement in another project.

I met Lewis when he was completely rewiring my daughter’s first property. He is currently rewiring her third property. The works were both internal and external. My daughter lives in the Bedford area and I’m an hour and a half away so I wasn’t sure Lewis would want to do my work. Thankfully he was happy to do my requirements and do a fuse board check for me. Wouldn’t use anyone else highly recommended definitely 5stars

Lewis did a great job for us, sorting out an ancient setup, fixing an issue and installing a PowerWall

Can highly recommend the professional service provided by L B Electrical Services. Reliable and competitive pricing.

I've used LB Electrical for everything from small fixes to a full-on solar panel and house battery installation. I've always had great advice and great service.

Lewis was excellent, clear communication, shared his expertise and did a thorough job through out. Highly recommended and trustworthy person.

From start to finish the service was faultless. We had an idea of what we needed but Lewis was able to specify exactly what was required, provided a fair quote and carried out the work quickly which involved converting standard lighting to LED and installation of 240v 16A, 32A and 13A sockets plus provision for three phase 415v equipment which will be added in the future. They carried out the work in a clean and tidy way and did not cause any disruptions. Being a commercial unit Lewis was able to supply all relevant documentation required by the landlord/insurance company. We have used LB Electrical previously for much smaller jobs but glad we chose them again for this, and have no hesitation in recommending them to others.

LB Electrical installed two battery packs and a new PV Inverter and linked in the existing PV array for me. The whole installation was very professional and I would recommend their services for similar work.

Lewis is very professional and reliable. His knowledge is outstanding. He has completed work at my house a couple of times and I wouldn’t use another. Can’t praise him and his work enough.

I recently had a Tesla Powerwall 2 fitted by AGMS. Lewis was one of electricians involved in the installation. As a result I asked Lewis to update my consumer unit to meet current standards. I found Lewis to be extremely knowledgeable and can only describe the service received as first class. I can recommend LB Electrical without any reservation whatsoever.

Lewis helped with wiring for my PodPoint, he was professional, timely and tidy. He talked me through my options and was reliable. Would recommend him and would go to him with future work.

I have used LB Electrical on several occasions now. I found them from a Facebook post for our village when I required an EV Charger installed. I went with LB Electrical because it was clear they had the knowledge and experience of what was required for this type of work. I also had a replacement consumer unit installed at the same time. Recently I needed wiring installed for some bathroom mirrors and a Ring floodlight camera installed, something I planned to do myself but never got round to it. I continue going back to them because they are extremely knowledgeable and always provide an excellent service. They are competitively priced and will do the work that is required to the highest standards.

Lewis provides an excellent professional service. He has undertaken several jobs at my home including installation of a new, improved, consumer unit (fuse box) and installation of external lights and power sockets/ switches. Work is of high quality and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him.

I have used LB Electrical multiple times, from hardwiring ring doorbell installation, light fixture fitting both indoor and outdoor. Great service and professional job all round

5*- we couldnt recommend Lewis enough. We’ve used him several times now. He’s always friendly, helpful and professional.

Highly recommend I approached LB electrical to change my kitchen lights to spot lights to increase the light needed for cake decorating. Lewis also switched over some plug sockets from basic ones to sockets with USB ports. Lewis was very responsive with my enquiry, done an amazing job and installed only the best quality products for the job needed. Thank you 😊
